The place was recommended by our hotel to go for coffee. We took our laptops and wanted to get coffee and work there. We got cheesecake and coffee. Interesting, our order did not show up on their screen so they did not make our coffee - rather, they made it for people after us. We commented that maybe it’s because we did not have a number tag/flag on the table. It was actually a system issue, minor, and they came with coffee right away, I’d say he was the manager - super kind, great attitude, professional, and even offered us macaroons for the trouble. Not an issue, but I’d say their service is great! We all miss orders or system does not show them (I realize it, I have a business and where people pay cash, sometimes the orders don’t show in queue). What the company does to mend an issue is truly impressive and we stayed for hours and worked and enjoyed the place! The whole team is wonderful! So are the coffee and the treats. We went there again the following day. The sandwich was amazing, the salmon crepe fantastic, they just really do a top notch job!

I have visited this pastry/ coffee shop several times in San Diego. Pastries are delicious, as are their desserts, food, and drinks. They also have ice cream, which I haven’t tried but assume is just as good of a quality as everything here. Thank you to Carlos for preparing the food. Thanks to all the staff members, Andrew, Dove, Matt and Leon, for such a friendly service and kind hearts! Their opening hours are a treat, too! It was lovely to stumble upon it late in the evening and find out I’ll be able to grab a bite as early as 7am! Happy Holidays, Everyone and Happy New Year!🎄✨

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Fogo de Chao, and after tonight, we won’t wait so long until next time. My partner and I splurged a little and had the pleasure of being served by Andrea. She was so friendly and attentive, and made the dinner so much nicer. The meats were especially well cooked and the salad bar was stocked and refilled often. Our favorites were the lamb steaks and the juicy pork belly with honey. The dining area was also full but there was still plenty of space to move around quickly.

We recently went to Fogo de Chão and decided to try the Market Table (salad bar) for about $20. Honestly, it was more than enough food and such a good value. The selection was fresh and delicious — everything from mixed salads to cold pastas, cheeses, and even a charcuterie-style spread with meats and cheeses. I especially enjoyed the lentil soup, which was comforting and flavorful. On top of the Market Table, they also brought out fried bananas, plantains, and mashed potatoes to our table, which was a nice surprise and made the meal feel complete. At one point, the waitress asked if we wanted a shrimp cocktail, which we didn’t realize was extra at first — glad we asked before agreeing. Just a heads up for anyone dining there, some items are additional. We went because we heard about their lunch special ($47 for the full churrasco experience with all the different Brazilian meats), but we were just looking for something lighter and different that day. The $20 Market Table ended up being perfect for us. Great food, generous portions, and definitely worth it if you’re not in the mood for the full experience but still want to enjoy the quality that Fogo de Chão is known for.

Nice atmosphere, however staff is slow, we had to wait for a single crepe over 30 minutes (there were two other customers at the store only) and they didn't make the order right. Some beverages and a strawberry sorbet were the only vegan options.

The cafe has an amazing atmosphere. You can tell they put real thought and taste into creating it. It is a cozy and beautiful place, especially when the big windows are open. The desserts here are absolutely delicious and the breakfast is really hearty. It is a perfect spot for an inspiring start to the day or a romantic date. I would just make the service a little more positive or friendly, maybe more like the vibe you get in France, rather than how it feels now.

I ordered a galette to go as well as a latte and macarons. While nothing tasted particularly bad, I was very confused and frustrated to cut a piece off of my galette that was drowning in bechamel sauce to discover that it did not contain a crepe, but instead two slices of bread. I’ve heard about this place numerous times, I finally found the time to make it down and was very excited to try it. That excitement was quickly stone walled when the first cut came to the table and was extremely overcooked and dry. I was surprised that they would have brought something out like that and it just got worse from there…..the next 4-5 cuts that came out were either dry, had fat that hadn’t rendered and just became chewy and the worst was the amount of meat that came out that had a char on it….and I don’t mean a good char it felt like I was chewing charcoal. I want to say the last 15 minutes we were there some good cuts started to come out, but even in the cuts that were edible, they’re not letting the fat break down and render properly creating a rubbery texture. I even had a piece I took with my fingers and tried to tear, it was too tough. Very disappointing experience.
