We walked by earlier in the day and saw a Steelers flag flying for game day. We came back for dinner and were warmly greeted by a woman (Donna) who was all decked out in Steelers gear. Most customers were Steelers fans and we had an awesome evening eating lumpia and watching the Steelers dominate the Dolphins. Looking forward to our next visit- hopefully timed with a Steelers game :)

A nice little quaint hole in the wall restaurant located in the gas lamp, but off the beaten path. it's very comfy and cozy inside. it was kind of full when I was there but I was getting my food to go anyway so I could watch the football game. needless to say, I'm having the garlic rice bowl with mushrooms and it's delicious with an egg. very happy with it. the traditional Filipino foods. they even have Filipino beer. if you like red horse they have it. check them out. I'll be going again

We got off the plain in San Diego and I googled this place and thought we'd give it a try. The food was delicious, the drink were wonderful, the bar keep was very helpful. I forgot his name unfortunately be was a a delight! I love tue atmospheric and the music.

The inside of Gaslamp Lumpia Factory was a vibe — lots of cool Fil-Am-inspired memorabilia that gave it heart and personality. We pre-gamed here before dinner and it hit the spot. The shrimp lumpia and wings were crispy and flavorful, and the Pinay Colada was smooth, tropical, and strong in all the right ways. Great spot to kick things off!

I rarely give reviews but omgggg this place is a gem. Got their smashburger combo and chicken lumpia - oh my god it all tasted like it was homecooked with love. Whoever is in the kitchen today around 2ish you are a god. My mom also rlly enjoyed her mushroom adobo w/garlic rice. Service was also super sweet and helpful. 10000/10

Honestly, I was a bit let down back then the food was dry, and the staff seemed pretty checked out. We were back in town recently and decided to give it a second chance, and WOW, what an improvement! The change is incredible. The staff was super busy but still manage to keep the service spot on. We sat on the bar and I watched the bartender juggling multiple roles at once while still keeping a great attitude. The food was definitely better too! What really impress me was the teamwork this time around. We were sitting right at the bar, and I saw our food waiting at the window of the kitchen. The chef (in the white uniform, I assume) actually stepped out of the kitchen to hand us our food, and the bartender was right behind him with our drinks. Their sense of urgency and hustle was seriously impressive. ​Huge kudos to the team for turning things around. Huge improvement with the food I can tell its made with passion and effort compared to my last visit. As a returning customer, I'm genuinely impressed with this visit and will definitely be back!

What a hidden gem. I rarely write reviews, but this place warrants praise. First of all, Nicole and Trevor are amazing at customer service and delivering orders promptly…. Very helpful and fun. Their pandesal burger is so so so goddamn good. It literally might be one of my favorite burgers I’ve ever had. And it’s only about 11 bucks. 2 for $20. You NEED to try that burger, regardless of the pinoy food you order as well. If they advertised/marketed that burgie, they will blow up - guaranteed. Their tamarind wings? Ridiculous. Lumpia? Incredible. I give them my highest recommendation - get there asap. PS: I have received no Incentivization for this review, and there was no Ai involved :)

I didn’t have time to take pics because I was hungry. This is the place for authentic Filipino food. I had the chicken adobo and it was everything. Don’t forget the lumpia I ordered as well. It satisfied all my cravings. I will be back. The service was top notch.

I wanted to try the Maganda Forever but they were out of coconut, so had the house special Calamansi Margarita - also not a fan of this one. The interior decor of the place is pretty nice. They don't have lots of indoor seating - probably space for 10 people on the main tables.

Nicole greeted me with a warm smile that set the tone right away. Since I was solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar and asked if they could put on the Sunday night game—KC Chiefs vs. NY Giants. No problem. Bonus points—Nicole’s a Chiefs fan, so the energy was instantly fun. I started with a Flying Fox Bowling (wasn’t in a beer mood). Nicole didn’t have all the ingredients, but she improvised and delivered a solid version. I also tried a Sake-infused Sangria, and it was on point. Then came the house beef lumpia—and WOW. These weren’t your typical “Shanghai” rolls; they were hearty, flavorful, and more like the kind my familia makes. Definitely recommend them. Next up: the Sinigang wings. Tangy, savory, unique—these were a hit. The atmosphere was welcoming, especially for an out-of-towner like me. Nicole deserves a shoutout—not only was she attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the story behind the restaurant (inspired by Papa Pili), but she embraces Filipino culture with genuine enthusiasm, even though she’s not Filipino herself. That says a lot. And just when I thought the night couldn’t leave a better impression, I watched a young couple literally come running in at closing because it was the birthday girl’s request to eat here. Instead of turning them away, Nicole graciously welcomed them, told them to take their time, and even mentioned they could call ahead next time to be accommodated. That’s true "Filipino" hospitality. Bottom line: Great food, great drinks, great service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like familia. I’ll definitely be back—and next time I’m trying the Sinigang soup, per Nicole’s recommendation. Highly recommend.

Nice little bar with Filipino foods and even red horse And San mig on tap. That’s cool and all but their lumpia was pretty mid. Just didn’t slap like it would in the Philippines. But we also got the pork sinigang and idk wasn’t a fan of the super fatty pork. Why wouldn’t they just serve shrimp sinigang? That’s the best one. Not land animals. The food was really disappointing because I was looking forward to eating here and trying it out. Lastly I got a shirt and it was an XXL and I normally wear a large so I thought it would totally fit. It BARELY fits!! That’s insane actually that two sizes up doesn’t fit, like what is happening here? Even if it’s Filipino sizes I usually only go one size up not two. Crazy…

I would give it 5 out of 5 but the pork sinigang was swimming in fat! The “calamansi” wings are ok. Would’ve been better if it was just garlic salt and lemon pepper thrown in. Instead they had like calamansi powder mixture with it. Tasted really sour. Critique aside, the ambiance was great, although I was waiting for a Karaoke event or something. Good for a simple night out spot with your Filipino friends.

First time here. I will most likely return. I was by myself so I took a seat at the bar. I wasn't in the mood for fried lumpia, so I ordered a garlic fried rice bowl with pork sausage. The dish had plenty of rice and a generous amount of sausage, and was very good. Also drank a Red Horse ale, which was new to me. All good. The meal was served in a paper bowl with a plastic fork and spoon, suggesting to me that they don't want to hire a dishwasher and are contributing more to the waste stream than is necessary. I saw only two people working there on a Sunday afternoon. A server/bartender and a cook. They both seemed overworked, even though there was plenty of room at the bar and no one at the outdoor patio tables. If they would have been busier, I'm afraid service would suffer. The merch they have for sale is terribly overpriced. I checked and found the same plastic "steampunk" goggles on Amazon .com for $7.99 with a discount for bulk orders, which they sell for $20. The walls inside have some interesting art and artifacts on display, plus the requisite sports on TV. Overall a pleasant vibe.
