This spot is a total hidden gem! How did we miss this when driving by Miramar Rd before? We were in the area for shopping and appointments and wanted a quick lunch, but then we saw kebab and polo on the menu and ended up ordering enough to take home for later. They have a great selection of sandwiches and burgers here, but the owners have a Persian and Afghan background so they have a variety of middle eastern cuisine too. All the meat is halal too, so that means the burgers are extra good. That burger was exceptionally good. We got a mix of kebab, and we were blown away by how juicy the chicken was. It's hard to find chicken kebab that doesn't get all dried out, but the way they do it here is perfect. Juicy lamb and beef kebab seasoned to perfection. The Qabuli Polo/Pulao is loaded with chunks of lamb too nestled in all that rice. The owners are the nicest guys and take such good care of their guests. The food came out quickly and they even helped us pack it up when we were done. They have plenty of seating inside, nice simple atmosphere for a quick lunch. We will definitely be back to try more!

Co-worker and I go out for lunch every other week. He remembered this place from when he worked down the street from it. So we went here as he remembered it to be good. Good amount of parking. We walked in and the place itself is dated. The place could use an update. But most people I saw were there for a quick lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was priced well. There has been some price increases since some of the other pictures that others have posted with prices. But over all still a good bang for your buck, compared to what you get at other places near by. For the food I got the gyro with fries. It was packed with meat and the fries were hot and crispy. I forgot what my friend had, I believe a sandwich but he also had fries. We enjoyed our food very much and will be going back soon.

Absolutely delicious food! The kebabs are great. A little story, we happened to be looking for a restaurant on January 1. Many places were closed, but Garden Grill House was open. So we stumbled upon this restaurant, and it was a surprise hit with my family. We have been back 3x in a month. We also had a party here and the platter they made was beautiful (see picture). I really like the Koobideh. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. 5 stars!

I've been meaning to eat here since I heard that they serve chicken kabob salads.  I was also told it was a "mom and pop" owned establishment, which seems to be true.  I stopped by in the late lunch hour and ordered just that, the chicken kabob salad, however they had other salads including Caesar.  They also offer sandwiches, burgers, baklava and soups.   The kabob was good, warm and spiced well.  It came with fresh greens, tomato, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese.  Prices vary from $2-$10.

Everything was amazing, it was clean, the staff was hospitable like no other place, and the food made you want to lick your fingers.

This was my first time dining here, and I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a beef wrap and a chicken plate, while my mom enjoyed the tuna melt. The chicken plate was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. I was amazed by the generous portion size of the chicken, which was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. While I'm a regular customer at Luna Grill, I'll definitely be making this place my new go-to for chicken. It's significantly better. The restaurant's location is ideal with convenient parking. The customer service was also exceptional. The employee who took my order was incredibly patient and provided helpful recommendations.

We had their catered food at a gathering before, and it was delicious! This time, we had a large group of a high school basketball coach, team and their families celebrating the end of our season. We chose Garden Grill House for our banquet. We went for the Ramadan ayce weekend buffet, and OMG did we make the perfect choice! We made prior reservations, so our hosts had our beautiful and cozy Al Fresca seating ready for us when we arrived. Some of the guests are Muslim, and there was a proper area with prayer rugs ready for that. Everything was amazing! The service, the quality, and the variety of dishes. The buffet even included desserts, fruit, and hot & cold beverages. Talk about an awesome deal! Everyone was very happy with our experience there. Those HS boys gave the place a run for their money. Our hosts made sure all items on the buffet were refilled consistently. And we enjoyed a wonderful team dinner. 100% recommended! Will definitely be coming again!

Wow, this was quite a pleasant surprise! I ordered the gyro sandwich combo and everything was so fresh and generously portioned. All of the ingredients were high quality and their fries come out crisp on the outside and fluffy inside! Definitely the place to get high quality Mediterranean food!

Garden Grill House is one of the best restaurants in San Diego. Great services, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. The kabobs are consistently excellent, and the menu includes traditional dishes like Qabeli Palaw. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent. It may be a neighborhood grille, but the mindset of the staff was more on par with a well run classier dining experience. I heard about this restaurant from a friend who raved about the food and service, so I decided to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations in every way—the food was even better than I’d heard, and the service was outstanding. The kebabs were some of the best I’ve ever had, paired with a delicious salad and a variety of other mouthwatering dishes. I highly recommend everyone come and experience the amazing food here!

I’ll remember to ask for the price next time I order by phone. I’ve included the current prices as of August 2022 in my pictures. I paid $11.80 for my Sima’s special sandwich, online stated $8.75 before tax. The amount of food didn’t look like the picture presented either. It filled me up, but I want to at least see the amount of food that’s in the picture presented if I’m paying practically $12 for a sandwich. Overall, I was satisfied and will most likely return.

Nice place…food is not good…order was wrong twice because food was not labeled in “grocery bag” in the freezer…cook didn’t even know what he cooked for me…or the somoas “chicken” got veggie….asked to get chicken he said he thinks these are chicken….they were not….and frozen in the middle….so he threw a turkey sandwich together….wont be back here
