We have lived in Mira Mesa for more than 30 years and have loved Habanero's from the first time we tried their rolled tacos topped with salsa and freshly-made guacamole made it a "go -to" pick for its friendly, casual vibe and relaxed dining.

Good food at reasonable prices. Menu is hard to negotiate. Just tell them what you want and they will suggest an a la carte or combination item that meets that.

I've been here at least a dozen times, so I would know. I've also been to MANY mexican restaurants, and Habaneros will always be top 5. Their carne asada plate is fantastic, with amazing portions and tasty meat. Must try!

I had the Asada burrito and it was great. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.

One of my favorite places to get veggie burritos. Although the prices seem a bit high but you definitely get quality here. Another good choice is a simple bean burrito from here. The location is good aside from the badly designed parking lot, easy to grab something to eat before/after shopping at Aldi.

The food was pretty good,i totally recommend the carnitas taco bowl,carne asada fries. They were delicious. Prices are meh. Really spacious. But for being the First time i went service was terrible. The girl was in the back chatting and on her phone even though she saw us,we had to ring the bell like crazy for her to come out and still on her phone. Other wise i would give 5 stars

I used to stop by here for breakfast burritos. Cashiers are always nice and friendly. It's one the more spacious taco shops. I just got a veggie burrito. It was well balanced, and ingredients tasted fresh. Salsa bar is for dine-in customers only, so I was given some refrigerated options. Mild dark salsa tastes pretty good. The place looks clean. There is a TV for those who rather not look at their phones. It's in a shopping plaza which means plenty of parking.

Good food, our GO TO Mexican restaurant which is more like a cafe for quick bite. My husband loves their Freshy Strawberry drink, he orderes it all the time. We ordered shrimp, chicken and veggie taco. Beans were missing in veggie taco and in menu it was written beans as protein. That's why gave 4 star. Love the variety of salsa, green is my favourite.

Slight above average food in terms of freshness and quality but nothing to rave about. Super high prices though, $13.69 for chilaquiles is absurd. Burritos are all $11 or above. The green salsa is good but many other, better choices in the area.

This place is never open. I use to stop by after work before 5:30pm . I stopped today at 4:30, 3 people at the door as confused as I was. Now hours aren’t even posted on the door. I go for the tortas I think they have better tortas then Sayulitas down the road. I guess ima have to go there .

The food is good, but the price for a flavor drink is insaine $6.50 + tax, half of the cup is just ice, if you ask for no ice they don't care, they said they can not remove it, only if you pay for regular drink they give you the empty cup,

I just ordered from them today and found plastic in my son’s burrito. I am very disappointed that something like that would even get in a burrito and he is a little over a year old. I’m lucky that I found it rather than him eating it.

For the service aspect of things I ordered 2 cali burritos and 2 fish tacos I was charged for 3 cali burritos. I didn't notice until the lady that took my order mentioned she would credit me. Then proceeded to give me the run-around about how it's easier to compensate you with the food than refund you. Ok? In the end I ended up with 3 burritos that were mediocre. No flavor at all. Salsa is plain with no taste. Me and My spouse were completely unsatisfied with the food quality and service for $60. I don't recommend this place at all and will never return. Double charged me, didn't offer a refund, and just overall bad service and food quality. The 3rd burrito was donated to a homeless person. That's how bad the food is.

The place is now empty. I have never seen a fast food mexican place that doesn't have rolled tacos on the menu , but I see why now , I asked if they had them and said yes but not on the menu, I asked how much they were and they are $12 for 3 rolled tacos. No thank you. I won't be back.

Got a arrachera burrito the guacamole was like rotten and made my stomach hurt. Told the guy he replaced it with supposedly new guac but still tasted like the same was honestly the worst
