Had such a great time at Johnny WAHOO Golf bar. The simulator has far more than just golf. I am a terrible golfer 🏌️‍♀️ an i was just as terrible with the simulator. But i did have a great time throwing a baseball at the screen. We got lucky and got 2 hours on a Thursday without a reservation. The bartender was so kind and friendly. Great beer and alcohol selection. Between the drinks, the reasonable price, and the different sports and games on the simulator this was a great way to spend 2 hours in gaslamp.

Visiting San Diego, free shot intrigued us! Owner extremely talkative and friendly, from PA as well. Drinks were on par (get it) and atmosphere was one of the best i’ve been too. Highly recommend!

This place was so much fun. The staff was very chill, attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were good.

The food here was pretty good, I enjoyed the buffalo wings, truffle fried, and mac & cheese. They also had decent happy hour specials. We didn't do the golf simulator as we are not golfers. We saved ourselves the embarrassment. The staff was friendly and prompt. I would definitely go here again.

Nice take on a sports bar featuring golf. The food was good and the drinks were okay. Mind you they have only been open for ~ 2weeks and you good tell but the place has a ton of great potential. I could tell the kitchen service and bar service were still working out some kinks but everything did taste okay. Hint though make a reservation for the golf simulator. It will be really hard to just walk in and play. Plus you are on a strict time limit so be on time because you will end on time. If you haven’t finished your food or drinks they are more then willing to seat you at another table or the bar which is good. Overall really cool spot and should be great once they get into the flow of things. P.s. limited vegetarian, vegan options.

Bright, friendly, clean sports bar with upscale bar eats. I came in for breakfast and got the veggie scramble and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the dish. The combination of roasted sweet potatoes with feta cheese was a delicious combination of sweet, savory, salty and tanginess and went well with the earthiness of the mushrooms. Portions are large. Service was excellent and the host was friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of televisions displaying multiple sporting events. There are two seating areas with gigantic monitors that can be used for sports simulations like golf, soccer or carnival games or simply to watch a game with your group. This would be a great place for a group event. It is owned by the same group that owns Rustic Root next door.

Went as a small group and have already recommended to our other friends! Food was great and the simulator games were loads of fun. Our server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and courteous even though they were short staffed when we went. She even offered us a free play on the simulator when there was an opening. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

Food was ehh. Service was great. Atmosphere was decent. The cost to rent a bay was way way high. Place was empty, cost more than actually going a playing a round.

When we entered the establishment, we asked the bartender about the cost to use the virtual golf machines. He told us it was "one twenty-five an hour." When we asked for clarification, he responded in a deliberately ambiguous way, leading us to believe it cost $1.25 per hour instead of $125 per hour. As we played, the technology for various games—such as football, skee ball, and golf—was so buggy that the low price of $1.25 seemed plausible. We only discovered the true price after another customer informed us that they had been similarly misled. As tourists, we were completely caught off guard by this. Where we're from (New Orleans), bars often provide cheap or even free games as an incentive to buy their drinks—which, unlike this place, aren’t watered down. This made the $1.25 rate seem reasonable and believable. It’s deeply disappointing that this business operates in such a dishonest, parasitic, and predatory way. At least the darts were reasonably priced.

We never received anything so I tried emailing and got zero response after a week. I also tried calling several times and no one ever picks up. I wanted to give the company one more chance and sent an message through their social media page, and again, no response. It's now obvious the vouchers were a scam/ploy to get customers as they are never fully booked out.

Heads up, if you swap your Sprite for a Coke, they'll charge you extra. Also the simulator games have many glitches that doesn't run smoothly. I wouldn't recommend visiting that place if you're just visiting San Diego; however, if you live there, perhaps a single visit would help you decide if you enjoy it. I leave here and I wouldn't go back again.
