When in SD don’t skip the higher area of India st known as the international restaurants row, and Karina’s will be there, so good, we eat the ahi tuna tostada and the shrimp, octopus something else taco. The Jamaica water was not so great thought. Maybe because we got there like 20 min before closing time and it was very diluted, but the rest was very good. We will be back.
Every time I’m in San Diego, this place is my first stop. it’s conveniently located just down the street from the airport. You can’t go wrong with their traditional fish tacos, which are always spot-on. This time, I tried their surf and turf tacos for the first time, and they were excellent, Highly recommend this spot. It might be a little busy, but it’s absolutely worth it. Great food, great location definitely a must visit.
Literally some of the best food my family and I have ever had. We were visiting San Diego and looking for a place that served micheladas - thankfully it led us here!! We were pleased with the unique seating arrangement and atmosphere, and when we tried the food, we lost our minds. The ahí tuna tostada was especially good - the tuna was so fresh, taste was perfectly balanced, and the tostada itself was unlike any I have ever tried, so crispy and flaky yet strong enough to hold the heavy serving of fish on top. We will definitely be visiting San Diego again, just to come to Karina’s!!
There is absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to the food at this little takeout taco joint. Both the bacon-wrapped shrimp taco and the Marlín taco (smoked fish and cheese) are outrageously good, and the Ceviche Karina is in a delightful green chile sauce. There's a fair amount of outdoor seating, and the only issue is the breeze, which will blow your napkins everywhere. Otherwise, this is a great meal.
Sun-filled balcony, jarritos, and fresh ceviche, does it get any better? I ordered Mexican style ceviche tostada and two fried fish tacos, both perfect. If your uber driver tells you about a place, it usually won’t disappoint.
I ordered delivery from Karina’s and everything was delicious. The ceviche plate and spicy crispy shrimp were fresh and amazing. The tacos were all solid, with the fish tacos being my favorite. The surf and turf, bacon-wrapped shrimp, rib eye, lobster tacos, and ahi poke tostada were great. Overall, a good experience, and I’d recommend giving it a try.
We had to drop off a hire car at San Diego airport, and dinner was a few hours away so, when we put petrol in the car and noticed a deli across the road, we decided to check it out. My wife wasn't that impressed by the deli but we realised we were on "International Restaurant Row", so we had a quick look at what was available, and decided to give Karina's a go. We had the surf and turf fajita and a cheese quesadilla. Both were excellent - whoever was in the kitchen definitely knew what the were doing - and the combination of tasty rib eye steak and king prawns worked really well. If I didn't live >5,000 miles away, I'd definitely be a regular!
This place has some of the best ceviche I've ever had. Highly recommend to anyone that is a seafood lover. Service was exceptional.
Karina's is my absolute go-to after landing! The poke tostada with a cold Modelo is the perfect way to unwind. And trust me, the birria tacos are 🤌! The staff is super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Plus, dining with that stunning bay view? Pure órale ! 🌊🌮 #KarinasSeafood #SanDiegoFoodie #PokeTostada #BirriaTacos #BayViewDining
So far one of the better ceviche I've had since moving down here to San Diego. Ordered the Camaron Cocido and Ceviche Karina. The cocido was more tomato based in flavor. The avocado was a good neutral. Ceviche Karina had a green sauce that tied the shrimp and the rest of the ingredients together. Definitely would recommend. Looking forward to trying their Mango Tuna Jalapeño Sashimi appetizer.
I had extra time while waiting for a flight arrival. The fish tacos were excellent. Prices were reasonable and service was fast. The fish tasted really fresh. Got free chips & salsa with my order. There are seating areas next door at the Thai place. Good options if other parties want to eat Thai food.
Karina's was amazing! We had the shrimp ceviche was very refreshing, yet spicy. My husband's favorite was the surf n turf, and the ahi tuna tacos. I had the gobernador and the bacon wrapped shrimp. The gobernador was great and messy, which I love in a taco! The bacon wrapped shrimp was good but it had a sweet sauce on it that just did not go with the taco. However, everything else was delicious 😋.
What an awesome find! We stopped here after leaving the San Diego airport (it's super conveniently located with several other restaurants near where you leave the rental car center; it's just tough to find street parking). I had the ahi poke tostada and loved it so much I got a second (I misread the menu and thought that getting a ceviche in tostada form was $4 extra, but it was actually just $4 because it's a smaller volume of ceviche to fit on a single tostada). The fish had a great texture and flavor, and the dish had a great combination of sweet and savory flavors that made me crave a poke bowl for the next week and a half. And I was expecting the tostada itself to be more of a vehicle for the dish's flavors, but it was surprisingly flavorful on its own and sturdy enough to hold the ceviche and not break, but also perfectly crumbly upon eating it.
Definitely a must try place to eat burritos and tacos. My friend took me here after our workout and it was suprisingly good. It wasn't crowded at all when we got there. Parking was a little trouble some as there are many restaurants but not parking lots except for a bigger restaurant. They only have meter parking but it looks like it is free after 6 pm but always double check. I ordered the fish burrito and the surf and turf burrito. It was delicious! They both were 10 dollars each but the portions were big enough to share. They give salsa and chips with your order. They seating is outside with some shade but not much. The atmosphere was amazing! Very relaxing and calming. They serve beer but in cans. I will definitely come back to try out the other stuff on the menu.

My absolute favorite place to eat! The food is consistently amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. The seafood is a must-try; you truly can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. Everything tastes high quality and made with care. On top of that, the customer service is top tier. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I recently visited with a dear friend, and we had such a wonderful time enjoying great conversation over incredible food. It’s definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
This is probably my favorite taco shop in San Diego. The rib-eye taco is so incredibly delicious! Their fish tacos are amazing as well. I have a shell fish allergy, so I avoid ceviche, but not here!!! They know what they're doing. Always great service, and their salsa is the best!
Yum, yum, yum! Cute little walk up ceviche and fish tacos joint. I had the Karina’s Ceviches tostada which was so refreshing and delicious. I also had a Baja fish taco which was good but not as crispy as I would have liked. Hubs had the ahi taco as well which was cooked really nicely. They also give you some fresh chips with a delicious salsa. No indoor seating, but there were plenty of open seas outside available.
Holy portions! These ceviches are much bigger than we expected; too big? The fish was fresh and delicious, crispy tostada shells and yummy drinks. The Tuna mango dish was very sweet, didn’t taste natural (sugary syrup?). Stick with the classic ceviches!

I just read a 1 🌟 review and could not disagree more. Subtracting 1 star since the place is a bit noise (you could sit inside I guess) and service took a bit longer than expected. It was well worth the wait tho. We had the aquachile, shrimp cocktail and fish tacos. All were great but the tacos might be what I would recommend the most. Highly recommended; we are coming back soon!

Food good. Ceviche is spicy. They say they can make it without serrano peppers but its hot either way. So if youre low to no tolerance for hot stuff, this isn't for you. The kitchen appears clean but i wonder about how fast they turnover orders. Also a tip is you can ask them for the cooked or raw shrimp in your ceviche. The karinas ceviche plate was good, just lime flavor if you remember to tell them not spicy. Otherwise yikes 🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
California Burrito Rating (26) On the hunt for the best California Burrito. This is already spot number twenty-six on my list. Today’s stop: Karina’s Ceviches & More. The Burrito: Looks like they wrapped the burrito a little sloppy because all the good stuff slid down to the bottom. So at first you’re just eating tortilla, potatoes, and some basic-tasting meat. Halfway through you finally get that creamy sauce mixed with avocado, and that combo is legit tasty. Overall it eats like a regular burrito, but since most of the ingredients dropped to the bottom, the balance is off. Price is over sixteen bucks, which is higher than most places around town. Flavor and value don’t really match up. Score: 5 out of 10. Service: Friendly chat, quick and simple service. Score: 5 out of 10. Atmosphere: Not really much of a vibe here, no special Mexican touch or anything like that. Next to the order counter there’s this wide staircase where you can sit and look out at cars, a car wash, and some trees. Kinda dirty overall, but the outdoor tables with umbrellas are still a nice spot to chill. Score: 7 out of 10.

The environment smells of pure raw human urine, there's puddles of urine and used toilet paper right outside the business. Poor customer service. My order was wrong, along with another 5 other people that returned to the window to complain and inform them their order was wrong. Its overpriced. About $30 for and Aguachile with Avocado. The Avocado I paid for was not in my order. The Aguachile had a bad spoiled spur taste, and no spice, no Chile flavor. I waited over 30 minutes for my order only to be incorrect and missing what extra $$$ I paid for. This place has gone to hell! I do not recommend. Hard pass!
