Delicious fish tacos at this food truck stand. They had tables out for you to eat at and there is parking. Portion sizes are large and they have daily deals

Amazing, super fresh seafood! We ordered the Krazy Ceviche and omg — it’s so fresh. Some people say it’s expensive, but I’m from the East Coast and honestly think it’s a deal. We also got the octopus taco, which was my favorite, totally unreal. The fish taco and the OG were solid, just not mind-blowing. The fish is clearly fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and it’s such a fun little taco truck.

Kiko’s Place – The Seafood King absolutely lives up to its name! The food was excellent from start to finish. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The seafood was seasoned just right and served hot, the cold seafood cocktails were on point making the whole experience even better. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. If you’re craving great seafood, Kiki’s Place is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!

Didn’t take any pictures because we basically devoured this delicious food! We got their OG taco, shrimp ceviche and cucaracha shrimp (my favorite & the sauce was delicious). The free soup they give you as you wait was so delicious. Will definitely come back and bring my family here!

Insanely good. Had the kinotele cocktail (basically a seafood cocktail with shrimp, mussels, clams etc ), aguachile and ceviche. We loved it. The salas were phenomenal. One of the best habernero salas ive ever had and seriously spicy. Nice service too.

Out of this world good. Family of 7 all ate here and everyone thought it was fantastic. Folks working there are super nice and accommodating. They gave us some free soup!

Actually insane. Everything’s a flavor and texture bomb. The fish in the OG fish taco is crispy, buttery, flakey—literally a perfect bite with their “Red Sauce” salsa. GET THE KIKOCTELES (pictured is a medium believe-it-or-not) . Filled to the brim with super fresh seafood (tons of shrimp, raw oysters, scallops, etc). The free soup is FIRE. It has so much depth (from roasted shrimp shells?) and is packed with flavor. They also generously give free tostadas and tortilla chips to go with, and don’t forget the salsas and condiments bar. Their marinated peppers and onions are a must try between bites. Super friendly service and great vibes. If you are visiting SD, this is a must go.

Review: A Hidden Sinaloa-Style Taco Gem in San Diego While passing through San Diego on our way home, we stopped to visit family for a few hours. Someone suggested we grab some Sinaloa-style tacos from a food truck nearby — apparently, they were that good. Naturally, we went to check it out. The place was buzzing with people, everyone crowded around folding chairs and picnic tables, eating and laughing — always a good sign. We ordered Angus beef tacos and fried fish tacos. The order came with a consomé, a light broth made from the cooked fish with a few vegetables. And let me tell you — that broth was insane. I’ve never tasted anything like it. It wasn’t salty; it had the perfect blend of spices, rich and savory yet clean. If the broth alone was this good, I couldn’t wait to see what the tacos were like. The beef tacos were so good it was criminal. Tender, perfectly seasoned meat, melted cheese, and fresh pico de gallo on a flavorful corn tortilla. I asked for no guacamole or mayo (just a personal thing), and it didn’t need a thing extra. Though I did add some pickled onions on top, and the flavor just exploded — I swear, I almost wanted to put my head through a concrete wall, it was that amazing. These tacos deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame. The fried fish tacos, according to everyone else, were just as mind-blowing — crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. I didn’t even have to try them to believe it. Honestly, this food truck is a must-visit. It’s tucked somewhere near San Diego University, and it’s a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. Just the broth alone should be on your bucket list — I’m convinced it could cure a cold, maybe even COVID. This place deserves to be famous. Period. The prices are current as of 10/2025.

Dont have to cross the border & go all the way down to San Felipe B.C. to get the best fish and shrimp tacos in the world.Had the OG shrimp taco, and it was only $5 and good size. Not the best location right now,the truck is parked in an empty commercial lot,but they have tables and chairs set up so you can sit down.🐟🍤🌮

Crazy good food. It's the only place I've had in Marlin tacos outside of Mexico. The spicy gorvernor taco and the campechana were so excellent. I also have a crush on the cashier who's awesome and helpful. I can't even imagine how much shrimp they go through every day. It's definitely worth a visit it might be the best mariscos troca in SD

11/2024 update: just as good as always. I will keep coming back! Update: came here again before attending a Justin Timberlake concert and the tacos were just as bomb as the first time. The flavors are all on point and they have great tasting salsas to add to the mix. I will definitely be back again next time I'm in San Diego. The staff is very friendly and only added to a great experience. Really good fish tacos. Burrito was hearty and looked phenomenal.

We like to call ourselves foodies and we love trying new places. Before we went to San Diego we watched a lot of YouTube to check out what places to visit. Kiko's kept coming up so we definitely wanted to try. Well, I can tell you why it's mentioned so many times! It was AMAZING food and amazing service. You can tell they put so much love into their dishes. I Mean, look at the presentation on the Ceviche. It's beautiful... and delicious! We were given a great little soup while we waited for our food and I think that was a very nice little touch. I got the OG taco and it was delicious as well. Perfectly sized and the right amount of garnish. If you find yourself hungry, GO TO KIKOS!

Great service w people who clearly love what they do and love their customers. The tacos are crazy large so be warned! One taco is practically equivalent to two! The fish, especially the mahi was super fresh and tasty 11/10. The governor shrimp taco was a heavier taco that’s not my preference but if you love grilled veggies, jumbo shrimp, and lots of cheese I’d recommend. Their complimentary soup and chips were also perfect and I’ll go back thinking about that soup often. There are some side high top tables along the parking lot but I recommend driving it down the road and eating it on the shore of fiesta island!

🦐 Free seafood soup – super flavorful and fresh! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. • The OG Fish Tacos – Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The fish is perfectly cooked, not dry at all! • Seafood King Tacos – A mix of fish, shrimp, and squid—all incredibly fresh and delicious. The food truck blasts loud Mexican 🇲🇽 music, making the vibe absolutely on point!

Good people, serving good food. By good, I mean delicious, yummy, can't get in LA fish tacos. They serve you hot fish soup while you wait. What!? These people are crazy! That's a sure way to go out of business. I had fish tacos almost everyday, while being misplaced from LA. When you combine friendly staff, yummy food, and a welcoming atmosphere, you don't just feed your body, you feed your soul! P. S. I really wanted to try La Cucaracha, which is like a Bloomin' Onion, but made with fried shrimp. Unfortunately it's too big for one person. Next time, I'll have to bring someone with me😋

Now that's how you do a fish taco!! So delicious and fresh and they give a big piece of fish with fresh veggies. The flavor is so good you don't even need to add sauce. We got the OJ fish taco and a Shrimp taco. They're not stingy with the shrimp and you get shrimp with every bite. Excellent customer service! Got to try a free cup of fish soup which was delicious. 5 stars all around.

What a place! I could tell it was popular due to the parking lot being packed. I had to park at the mall down the street. It was also pretty crowded, but I can see why. The owner was incredibly friendly and obviously loved what he did, and after I ordered he gave me free soup. No lie, that soup was the best part of the whole meal. It was just a little cup but I wish I had a whole bowl of the stuff. Full of veggies and packed with flavor! I got the OG Fish Taco and the Garlic Shrimp Taco. Both were loaded and tasted pretty good! But compared to the soup I feel like it didn’t have the same impact with its flavor. Also, with the food truck being located in a gas station parking lot, it was very difficult to find space not only to park, but to wait in line. We had to move at one point because a truck was trying to leave and it’s only space to back up was into the crowd of people waiting to order. I think this place truly deserves it’s own lot, if not it’s own restaurant entirely. I’m excited to go again!

Ordered a garlic shrimp and a fish taco. During our wait we’ve gotten a shrimp soup that tasted amazing! Wait time was short. Tacos come in a bigger size I would say. The garlic Shrimp taco was flavorful, tasted fresh and hit the spot. Not the grilled fish taco. It had a weird taste so it felt wrong continue eating it. Besides that, great taco truck.

Before our Bollywood dance, we need to have lunch. I found a nearby seafood truck called Kiko, which serves tacos, nachos, burritos, and more! They give out a delicious soup, and the fish tacos, both grilled and fried are great because the portions are generous. The nachos were okay but a bit too oily. I just wish they had small tables to make it easier for customers to eat. It seems like they mainly do takeout, but having tables would make the experience much better.

*Update I've been coming to this truck for over a decade and have followed it after each relocation... the quality of the food has declined, and the service has changed dramatically, too, over the years. I was overcharged on my purchase and asked the cashier why three fish tacos ($3.25) one quesadilla ($10.00) and two drinks cost over $40. She claimed the bottles of soda were each $5, even though the cost isn't posted anywhere, and she had overcharged my food and claimed that I ordered more food than I had. She refused to refund me for the overcharge, and instead gave me an attitude and argued about me just taking the extra food to go. Additionally, the food was not the same quality that I'm used to. The shrimp had black veins that had a gritty texture, the fish tacos were very soggy as though they'd been sitting out for some time. It's a shame to see a restaurant I've enjoyed over the years decline in service and quality. My family has been visiting this truck for so long, and we have introduced countless people to Raul, the owner, over the many years we've been eating here. I'm sorry to have had such a bad experience with Kiko's, this used to be such a hidden gem in San Diego, but I don't believe it's worth returning to anymore.
