I love Mendocino farms. My recent favorite is Steak and Chimichurri sandwich, but I’ve also tried Turkey BLT and it tasted great too. I also cater from them a lot for work and it’s always a hit. I like the seating area as well, the restrooms are always clean and staff is very friendly. Overall, a very pleasant experience and very delicious food!

Angie was such a sweet heart! The service in atmosphere was amazing. I definitely wanna come back to try the other items on the menu. I ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich. Everything but the steak itself was delicious. The way the meat is cut Or the actual type of meat, I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of. But that’s just me. Can’t wait to come back here and try the rest of the menu!

The Prosciutto & Chicken Sandwich at Mendocino Farms in Mission Valley is a total showstopper. Forget everything you thought you knew about deli sandwiches - this sandwich is tasty. The combination of salty, savory prosciutto and tender roasted chicken, brightened by a vibrant basil pesto, and sealed in a perfectly panini-pressed ciabatta, is nothing short of brilliant. It’s the kind of sandwich you think about long after the last bite. Fresh, sophisticated, and flawlessly executed. A must-try!

This place always has great sandwiches, but today I tried their “November to Remember” and oh em gee, absolutely delicious!! I would highly recommend trying this sandwich before it’s gone, as it’s only on the menu temporarily. I’m also thrilled they brought back the dill potato salad, it’s so yummy! The restaurant itself is very clean and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is nice decor and the staff is friendly. My only recommendation is to order ahead, unless you have time to wait. This place is always packed at lunch.

Tried this restaurant because we wanted something healthier and lighter and it did not disappoint! I had the Thai mango salad and it was absolutely delicious! It was jam packed with Thai basil, mint, cilantro, mango, ramen noodles, chicken and more. I tried the passion black tea and it was very refreshing. We also tried the turkey sandwich with macaroni salad and that was amazing as well. They have kids meals (recommended for 8 and under) that we tried. The chicken tenders were juicy and the grilled cheese came on bread that tasted homemade. They came with a side of cut green apples and a drink. My kids chose a can of sprite. The restrooms were clean and the restaurant was clean. They have cows on the walls that are fun to look at!

First time here. Sandwiches and potato salad were both very flavorful. Friendly staff, clean, and efficient. Not crazy expensive. $37 for two people is considered cheap these days.

10/10 recommend! Ordered sandwiches here for my husband's birthday celebration and every person loved it! We had quite a variety too and literally everything was literally! Four out of the six of us had Mendocino for the first time and everyone started asking me where this food was from because it was just exceptional! Fresh sandwiches, exceptional flavor, and really good portion size! BYO Tofu sandwich on whole wheat with mozzarella, cranberries and pesto: only vegetarian one in the group but he really extremely loved this one. Peruvian Steak Sandwich: guy actually came and said The steak was unexpectedly good. You know how most places don't give good steak in a sandwich. This one was lovely. Sweet Heat Crispy Thai Chicken (husband's, So I tried it too) was So good! Chicken was like crispy chicken tenders but not as oily because it was air fried! Such a good healthy option! BYO Chicken Breast on Ciabatta with picked carrot & radish, cilantro, scallion + Sweet Chili & Sriracha Mayo: Amazing combination! I tried to make this similar to the sweet heat crispy Thai chicken but on Ciabatta with chicken breast instead of crispy chicken. Flavor combination was so good. That Sweet Chili sauce really added so much to it. 2 Chicken Pesto Caprese sandwiches: both people loved the order. Sandwiches were fresh and good!

Spicy curried couscous is a MUST try. It has a hint of spiciness and the curried couscous is very flavorful! Ordered a not so fried chicken sandwich with Chipotle sauce on the side. Definitely not disappointed! Bf ordered the Peruvian beef and they were kind to let him request it to be made in a wrap. Very accommodating! Soup of the day was creamy potato soup. The soup was not that creamy but Definitely pretty healthy! Social distancing dine in seating. Left with a full tummy

I tried this place a few times and I'm impressed by their outstanding customer service and food quality. I've tried the chicken ceasar, pork belly bahn mi, and the impossible taco salad. They were all excellent. On the Impossible Taco salad I added steak and it came out thinly sliced and perfectly seasoned. The dressings are tasty and are paired well with the salad. The superfood crunchiness were a pleasant surprise and added to the deliciousness of my salad. I enjoyed the Impossible Burger the most...that sauce on it was yummy. The restaurant is nestled in the Mission Valley Westfield shopping center directly adjacent to the Nordstrom Rack. Parking is free in the onsite lot. The price is the same if not slightly more than some nearby competitors such as Tender Greens. However I found the food here to taste so fresh and the finishing touches are impeccable. Definitely worth a try in my opinion. I'll be back.

Had a hiccup with my payment method and Perry saved that day. He helped me with my order and took care of everything for me. I had a great sandwich from amazing staff, treat them well and give them raises lol.

Katie went above and beyond to make sure we got access to delicious food that worked perfectly for our dietary needs. We each ordered the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada, with some customizations: one of us had no cheese and no kale, while the other skipped the cheese but added chicken. Honestly, we didn't even need to use any dressing--the salad was phenomenal as is! The flavors and textures were outstanding: the beautiful, flavorful crunch of the lettuce, the refreshing jicama, and the hearty quinoa. The spice of the red onions paired perfectly with the sweet roasted corn and creamy black beans. The chicken was seasoned, flavorful, and moist, and the creamy avocado tied everything together. I highly recommend this salad! I also built my own sandwich with chicken, sprouts, cilantro, and lettuce on sourdough. When I got home, I added avocado and balsamic glaze, which made it even more delicious and flavorful. My friend ordered a side of the spiced curried couscous, which they really enjoyed and even added to their salad for an extra flavor boost. Huge thanks to Katie for her kindness and patience, especially when I kept losing phone service while coordinating the order. She was incredibly accommodating and never once lost her cool. Thank you to the team for making an awesome, refreshing and fresh ingredient meal. When I went to pick up the food, I was impressed by the clean, shaded outdoor area, and parking was super easy to find. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish -- highly recommend!

The tomatoe soup was great a solid 10/10, the sandwich on the other hand I think it was missing something, maybe some sauce or the meat had little flavour (Chimichurri Steak Sandwich). The drinks I had Guyaba Lemonade, it was a little too sugary for my taste, I tasted the pomegranate lemonade and that was fantastic. Overall it was a great first experience

The food is always good, and I come here often. However, I had a very bad experience a few days ago with Skyler. She was rude to me and to others waiting for their food. Her attitude was unfriendly and unprofessional, and it makes me hesitate to come back because I don’t want to deal with that behavior again.

I'm done with this place. My wife and I use to get sandwiches from here very frequently. This afternoon was the first time we've had it in about six months. I use to be hooked on the Chimichurri Steak and Bacon sandwich which is nearly a $15 sandwich so that's what I ordered. I am writing this because I am so irritated. It had almost no meat on it. Could barely taste anything other than the veggies, bread, and the insane amount of marinade that was on the peppers. After I was done eating there was a pool of the marinade on my plate. Seemed to be one sliver of steak for the entire sandwich. I only tasted the bacon on a couple bites. Ridiculous to still be hungry after eating a sandwich that cost $14.35. Going to find a new place to buy sandwiches.
