I placed an order on DoorDash to take advantage of a BOGO offer they had on “ Kids Pizza”s “ . We ordered two Kids Pizza”s for delivery. What arrived were not the personal pizzas we expected , but more of what I’d call a Small pizza . The kids ended up splitting one . So like any responsible adults we finished the extra pizza ( LOL ) . The pizza was good , the service was fast & overall we got one heck of a deal . Will certainly be checking out the rest of their menu in the future . My two cents for the owners is that they should update their “ Kids Pizza “ description with a size reference because I’m sure a lot of customers have no clue the bargain they are getting for the price .

I really like Pesto at the SDSU location but since it's closed, we went to this Mission Valley location. It's really nicely decorated with lots of seating under a covered patio and more seating out front. There are heaters overhead on one side of the patio. You order at the front counter and pay further along the counter towards the end. They will bring your orders directly to your table. Everyone was really nice and friendly. They have a great lunch special menu with different options and they come with a fountain drink too! I ordered their truffle mushroom pizza special at this visit and it was SO delicious. It was a big personal pizza and I had enough for dinner later that day.

Absolutely love this place! The Pesto Panini is a must-try—packed with flavor and perfectly grilled. I even ordered one to-go for my nephew, and he devoured it before his train arrived! The marinara sauce on the Chicken Parm is rich and delicious, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian comfort food!

Entering the restaurant already showed how popular the food was and you can’t go wrong following the crowd in this case. If you are a fan of pesto sauce in any form this is the place to try it in various ways and dishes. We have always been a fan of garlic bread and now with a twist, literally, the knots were drizzled with pesto sauce and were just extremely delicious. There was a perfect amount of pesto so as to not overwhelm the garlic as garlic is still the main character in this side appetizer. The Gnocchi was cooked to perfection and was perfectly paired with the pesto-fredo sauce and was just heavenly. The portion was just enough to save room for the dessert. She had the pizza and described a great balance between the cheese and pesto sauce with the crust being a bit too thin but the size of the pizza would be perfect for an individual meal on its own. The Perfect Peach vodka cocktail was light, aromatic, and refreshing and went well with the time of day as the sun was out. A compliment to the warmth of the day. The tiramisu was delicious in flavor but didn’t have much moisture from the espresso and the cocoa powder was a bit damp, perhaps it was sitting in the fridge a bit too long. The cheesecake was a bit too sweet for my taste but still good especially if you’re a fan of pistachios. A great restaurant that I would most certainly revisit to see what the other dishes have in store because pesto is a sauce you shouldn’t live without.

Jackie was super friendly and energetic. Atmosphere even on a rainy day was very welcoming and cozy. Food came out perfect and very speedy. All around a good experience! Side note Jackie was very engaged with not only me but with everyone she interacted with. I was there for maybe 20-30min and made the effort to say hello and goodbye to everyone that she came across!
