The best hot pot in San Diego thr staff and the food are on another level. I can't say more about how amazing this place is. Come here and stay for hours eating the most amazing hot pot you can imagine. It really is that good.

I’ve been coming to this hot pot spot for a few years now, and the service just keeps getting better and friendlier every time I visit. The staff are attentive, welcoming, and make the whole experience really enjoyable. I usually go with the all-you-can-eat option, and the quality never disappoints. The vegetables always taste incredibly fresh, and the meat quality is consistently good. One of my favorite parts is the condiment and side station — the pickled vegetables and garlic are especially delicious and add so much flavor. You can really tell how fresh everything is because this place is always packed. There’s a reason people keep coming back, and I definitely will too. Highly recommend if you’re a hot pot lover! 🍲🔥

This place exceeded my expectations! The ingredients were extremely fresh, especially the beef—thinly sliced with beautiful marbling, tender and flavorful after just a few seconds in the pot. The variety of sides was impressive as well, from tofu and fish balls to mushrooms and vegetables, all fresh and well presented. Portions were generous and the overall quality made it great value for the price. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service was attentive and efficient. Definitely a spot I would come back to and highly recommend.

Went here to celebrate a birthday and our tummy’s were happy. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of options to choose from, our favorite was the flank steak. Had an option of two broths. we got mild and extra spicy. Desert included ice cream. I got strawberry and my date got vanilla.

This been my go to hot pot for years. I love the soup base here compare to other hot pot places. They changed to all you can eat now. I think it’s great value compare to order individually. Came here with my whole family for my husbands bday. The bday boy ate for free too!

Really enjoyed the hotpot here! The broth was flavorful, the meat and fish were delicious, and I liked the variety of veggies and tofu. The sauces bar added a nice touch too. Everything tasted great and the portions were just right. Definitely a place I’d come back to for hotpot.

Location was super clean and From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spotless and welcoming the place felt. The atmosphere is bright, organized, and clean, which immediately made the dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. The customer service was outstanding--staff greeted me warmly, checked in at the right times without being intrusive, and genuinely made sure I had everything I needed. It's clear they value their guests and take pride in what they do. As for the food--absolutely delicious. Every plate came out fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. You can tell they use quality meats and put care into their cooking. Portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was plated beautifully. Overall, this spot is a perfect mix of great service, clean environment, and incredible food. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that truly gets it right.

Came here with my family to celebrate my birthday last week and had a great time. They have tables sectioned off in the back to accommodate large parties, so we were comfortable and the servers came by often to check in on us. My kids loved the meat, which was super easy to cook and together with the soup broth tasted great. Will definitely come back again soon

This by far the best hot pot in San Diego! It’s been a staple for years and we will never stop going. The food is always consistent and super fast service. The service is what keeps us coming back as well the staff is truly great and very attentive. They also have a big selection and sauce bar best sesame sauce ever! No other hot pots compare to this location

I’m pretty sad I didn’t discover this place sooner. This hotpot spot offers both a la carte AYCE options. We went for the AYCE dinner ($36++ per person), and it was absolutely worth it. They have a huge variety of food, including a bar of appetizers. The quality of the meats and seafood is impressive for an AYCE place. The service was great, friendly and attentive staff.

Short wait time, great service, great fresh meat and veggie selections! And they had match and strawberry ice cream for dessert! The broth options was absolutely delicious and spice adjustable. My family and I came after a long (and hungry) day at the zoo and this was just the fill that we need especially since it was starting to get cold outside, too!

Absolutely sensational. Small wait time. The all-you-can-eat hotpot here was a great deal, costing around $35 per person, which I thought was very reasonable! The staff was amazing and attentive, always ready to help with any questions I had. The food was absolutely delicious. I recommend getting half of the house original broth and the house spicy broth in mild, as you can add their garlic chili oil to kick up the spice. The flavors were exactly what I needed on a cold night. The meats were thinly cut and incredibly tasty. My only regret is not saving any room for the ice cream at the end, which is included in the all-you-can-eat package!

The food was well done. All the food was fresh and the servers gave excellent recommendations. The service was helpful. The servers came once in a while to check in if we needed more broth to our soup. The restaurant itself has a nice look on the inside. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The experience here was lovely! A good variety of meat and vegetable options, quick service, and an open atmosphere. Seating was quick as well and the food was delicious. I would recommend the white fish especially, along with the lamb and spicy broth. The sesame pancake was more of a fluffy bread which one could eat by dipping in the seasoned broth to soak in the flavors. There were quite a few dipping/side dish options presented in a buffet style- garlic, coriander, chilli oil and spicy sauce, wood ear mushroom salad, cucumber salad, kimchi, oranges and slices of lemon, etc. We had ice cream for dessert afterwards. The green tea flavor was very subtle and tasted more like plain vanilla, but the texture was smooth and refreshing. Overall, a great place to spend some time with friends and family and to share a meal together

The best time to go to Mongolian Hot Pot are the weekdays around lunch time. You get the best service. We go here every Wednesday for student discounts and Mondays for military discounts.

I’ve been to this hot pot location multiple times over the past few years, and I would definitely recommend this place. The quality of the food is consistent and the broth is very tasty. If you portion correctly, the a La Carte can be cheaper than the AYCE, but don’t fall into the trap of overstuffing yourself just to get your money’s worth. My only complaint would be the service can be slow at times, especially if it’s tremendously busy. There are a lot of tables and not enough FOH workers to meet the demand sometimes, so be aware of that when coming here during peak hours.

Overall, it's a good restaurant. The broth options were flavorful, and the variety of fresh ingredients—meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles—was good. We got half and half with half spicy and the other their original. The staff was friendly and attentive as her they could as it took them a while to make it to our table, i believe being a holiday, they were understaffed, but they tried. It's been awhile since I've been here. The service and food quality has diminished a little. They forgot to bring out all of our meat orders and rice. 20 minutes later we received them. We had the House Original broth which was good. However, the spicy beef one broth was too spicy. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the broth due to the spices heat. Completely unnecessary.

When the food was bad, they tried to explain how hotpot works to us, even though we have been eating hotpot since childhood, across 4 major cities. Angel was very apologetic. The service from him was good. That being said this place is.. not good - they brought out all the seafood items first, forgot every sliced meats, forgot our rice, forgot our noodles - the watermelon juice seemed blended with ice but also just feels like they made it a long time ago and froze it so there were ice crystals - when we did get the sliced meats they didnt taste fresh, it was stringy - they served us matcha icecream that felt like vanilla ice cream coloured green. There was ice crystals and my fiance and I had to wait a while for it to melt enough to be edible - everything seemed near frozen and took a lot longer to cook They blamed the kitchen and printer error for their service, but we had a very dissapointing experience.
