If I could find a way to move into the OB Pizza Port, I would do it. This place is surprisingly great pizza, amazing San Diego style craft beer, and a family friendly location in Ocean Beach. Plus, you can bring your pup! I also have to point out that the staff are some of the nicest people in the business. This place is perfect.

Our favorite place to eat with friends and family. Also love playing Buck Hunter and so happy they have the game. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The salads are also amazing!!

This place was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. It truly was a "religious experience"! This place ranks up in the top 3 pizza joints I've ever been to in the world. Their beer is also fantastic. Prices are incredibly reasonable; I got 2 small deluxe pizzas, a pint, 2 sodas, a salad, and a pint of house made ice cream for 45 bucks. Can't beat that!

Very good pizzas!!! Price is right too!!! Will be back for sure!!! In fact I think as of writing this in June 2023, this is the best pizza place in San Diego. Dough is fantastic so as ingredients. So far we tried 4 different pizzas and oh boy they tasty. It’s bright and full of flavor compared to many other generic pizzas.

Pizza Port was on my shortlist of breweries to visit in San Diego. Did two flights so got to sample multiple varieties from their extensive menu. Beer and atmosphere was awesome. Staff was super friendly and helpful — even gave me some history about the beers and awards they’ve won. I hope I can visit again and try the pizza this time!

Great pizza, plenty of options, and lively atmosphere. During peak hours, it takes no more than 20 minutes for your name to be called. Tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Parking around here is a bit tricky, but there are some nearby parking lots. Pizza pricing: Small - $11, Medium - $20, Large - $24.

Great place to spend the afternoon. We walked in full from lunch at another spot, but the smell of pizza was irresistible, so we ate more and grabbed a few beers. The pizza is on par with their beer! Amazing flavors all around!

We had such a great time here with the whole family. They had uno and card games out to pass the time and it was super family friendly.

We had a great experience! We got to build our own pizza, choosing all the ingredients just the way we like them. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft inside — just right. The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend it if you love good pizza and want to customize it your way!

That's pizzeria at a whole new level of taste and ingenuity! Very creative menu items with names after different cities in San Diego! Atmosphere indoors is fantastic! They have PINBALL!! Outdoors is okay but could use better chairs. Pet friendly too!

Awesome place I love it here. Even though it's always hard to find a parking spot. Great staff, customer service and excellent pizzas. So many choices of pizza and beer. My favorite imperial stout Santa Little Helper with the Simpson on my mind. Nice chilled environment great to hang with friends too. Mini arcade there as well and clean bathroom. Come for a sunset and swing in here.

Tons of beer choices, tried the pineapple cider was great and the peach was good. Pizza is good, lots of toppings, sauce is a little to sweet for my liking but is not overwhelming on the pie. Cute location great staff.

The pizza and beer were excellent. The atmosphere is very inviting, eclectic, and relaxed, which is perfect for a pizza joint in my opinion. Kid and dog friendly. We were there on a busy Monday night so the food took a while to come out. But the staff was friendly and the beer did a great job of curbing our hunger while we waited. Will visit again.

Since I arrive to San Diego every body is been talking to the pizza California stile! Been trying some places and then a friend told me about Pizza Port. Highly recommend, for my is the best Pizza in San Diego, we just try the cheese pizza, thanks to my kids, but is really good ! This is also a brewery in San Diego and they have a very good beer, the one that I love is Shark Bite brown ale!! Awesome! The staff were really friendly!! Good work guys!!

Literally in love with the food AND beer here. Firstly it has nice outdoor seating so bring your furry friends along. I ordered a Kale salad, a vegetarian cheese pizza slice and a Belgian Blonde Ale and i can tell you I LOVED it, the pizza bread was delicious. Highly recommended.

Honestly can't wait to come back here again! My husband got a flight of 4 Local IPAs for only $9 and the pizza was out of this world! We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and people watching. It's got a great relaxed vibe!

Wow. This is an awesome brewery pizza joint. It is so busy. Lots of craft beer options. Many pizza options too. Extra tasty pizza with lots of toppings. Many seating option, including high tables, picnic tables and outdoor bars. Cool but busy atmosphere. Child friendly at early hours. Quite loud in the late evenings as everyone is having fun. Wheelchair friendly yet only seating at ends of tables available.

Love this place. Has been a go to for our family for a long time. Viking style tables, sole games and bending machines for the kids, inside and outside sitting, food is great, beer is amazing.

Best pizza and beer in OB town, hands down! If you know OB they love their good food and great times, so go to this local legend of a restaurant for a good time with families or dates. Yes they have gluten free pizza (one of the best in town!), and gluten free drink options (wines, local kombucha, and delicious seltzers)... If they Gluten free stuff is this good imagine how good the regular pizza and beer would be! Go here and try everything and bring ya dogs, or ya kids... Everyone can have a good time!

Always love pizza port! Their gluten-free pizza is pretty tasty too. This location has a patio where your dogs can join you. Loved the kale salad too!

Pizza is delicious. We ordered the Meet extreme meat, the Garlic veggie with pesto sauce, and kale salad. Garlic veggie was my fave. Ordered for pickup but the vibe inside the restaurant was great.

You can get pizza by the slice or by the whole pizza. We had a meat pizza and it was amazing. We also got a beer crust cheese sticks and they were also really good. This seemed like a great place to hang out. With inside and outside seating. Overall if you are in the area, want pizza, this is the place to go.

Ordered one of their signature pizzas for the first. So damn good! Just moved back out here after living rural for 6 years. So happy to have so many places near us to go to andots of neighbourly people. I've had plenty of pizza ports ales which are really good, but finally got one their pizzas. I ordered the San Clemente which has a black bean sauce and loaded with goods. So yummy I barely could stop eating it.

This place was on my bucket list for a while. First of all, there is this excellent surfing vibe, that I cannot describe. But you just feel like you're on the ocean. Concerning food, I had a pizza of the day and it was great . On top, one of the longest taps I have seen is filled with excellent beer. Just to add that the staff was extraordinarily friendly and open. One of the best places I visited recently.

Heard about this place from the wife but until today have never been to it. Great experience, fast service. Parking in ocean beach is a little tricky but it's worth it. Would recommend this place to any pizza lovers. They also have a small brewery in here so if you like beer that's a plus.

A cornerstone of the OB neighborhood is SD. Laid back pizza joint with world class beer brewed right on site. Ingredients are fresh and the pizzas are unique and tasty. Beer is fresh and world class. The place can get packed on a weekend night but the kitchen can pump out pizzas pretty quickly. The staff is friendly and work quick. The prices are excellent with the lunch special being a standout. Overall, a neighborhood gathering spot that’s kid, dog, and human friendly.

Great food along with great beer! They have a large selection of beer with several different styles. Get a flight so you can try 4 different flavors. As for the food, all of it was delicious! The chicken wings were tender with great flavor. The pretzel was simple but tasty. And the pizza was cheesy with a great tasting crust. I wouldn't hesitate to order all of them again on our next visit. The only negative here is the parking, but that is common everywhere in Ocean Beach. Just keep driving around, and you will eventually find a spot.

We went yesterday September 14 2024 after flying in from Philadelphia. Lots of options on tap for domestic flights great beer and a fountain soda machine for the DD like me this time. Ordered the lunch specials which are 11am - 3pm daily. We both got two slices one with a beer and one with a soda. They called us up but one slice was missing. After 10 minutes still no missing slice so we went back and asked to get both slices fresh. Strange. The pizza was good as was the beer. Sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Families, dogs everyone is welcomed. You can get ice cream prepackaged and beer to go. You can play kids pinball however over priced games. Parking in bank and also on street. Very busy

Good customer service but you really have to do all the work when you come here have to listen for your name pick up your own food bust your own tables but other than that the hummus was wonderful some of the best I’ve had pizza place by far. Love the atmosphere! Has a very mixed crowed where both young and old enjoy the delicious food. The pizza was amazing and fully customizable! Wings had a decent crunch and the sauce waa flavorful. The arcade games added the perferct touch and gave a bit of 90s nostalgia as well!

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of pizza, but this was a great spot to get some brews and pizza. Recommended by a friend of my cousin, we decided to stop in to try their pies. They have great options for starters. The fried Mac and cheese was good. Decently crunchy! The fried cheese was great! The pizzas are clearly marked with their diameter, so keep that in mind when ordering if you don't want to over order and have some for the next morning/day. Would recommend to a friend.

Update: Good spot but they need to clean up the parking lot...repaint the handicapped spots and other spots. Parking is confusing. The Honey Hazy IPA is one of the best hazy IPAs I've ever had. Keep brewing it!! 🙏 PS PLEASE open a location in North Park!!

Was on a family vacation to San Diego and needed a good pizza stop. This place is really good. Nice thick crust, plenty of toppings, and saved really well too. Kept it in our AirBnb for a few days and was yummy each day.

The food was okay. Pizza was very soppy and soggy, but not in a bad way. Just not my style. There’s a LOT of cheese. The specials are cool and there’s a great beer selection (that I unfortunately didn’t get to try). Very cool atmosphere and decor, somehow very flexible and good for both families and friends/bar hopping. I’d come back but maybe get a different meal haha. The salad was great, pizza not my style.

The service is super fast and friendly! We got the veggie basket and large pizza. The dough was really good although the pizza was alright nothing to write home about. They definitely had good variety of beer, pizza and other appetizers.

This is a different location and honestly I like the vibe here better. We had our first experience at Pizza Port many years ago in Carlsbad. It became a family tradition to go anytime we went to Cali so when we moved here I was stoked to see a Pizza Port right down the street. Food was great, beer was better my biggest complaint...not everyone like an IPA and the beer menu reads IPA IPA IPA port, IPA IPA IPA stout IPA IPA IPA. my beer was great but was also the Only Port on the menu wish there were a few more non IPA Choices. But love the za not keen on the Mac & Cheese bites but other person in our party likes them.

Reasonably priced, local pizza chain! They have outdoor seating and the pizza was great! They had a ton of options to choose from. I didn't love that they put the cheese over all of the toppings due to everything just falling off on your first bite, but it was still good! Their mozzarella sticks were also delicious!

I got a pepperoni and the wife got a GF/DF artichoke Canadian bacon. The pepperoni did NOT satisfy my pizza craving, it was a very doughy lightly sauced/cheesed bread. I say bread because it was bread and not pizza. The wife said it was a good pizza and she would eat again so we will probably eat again but I'll ask for extra sauce/cheese next time.

Pizza Port has some of the most delicious pizza. It's fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The customer service was equally exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and really made my family and me feel welcome. The only downside to our visit was how lenient they seemed to be regarding "service animals." We overheard customers behind us openly admitting their dog was not a service animal, yet staff didn't say anything. Unfortunately, the dog was very smelly, which made the overall dining experience less enjoyable. Other than that, the food and service were outstanding. With a bit more attentiveness to this issue, Pizza Port would easily be a 5-star spot every time!

Been looking for a place with good pizza and beer and good food too. Came here on a date with my wife and we ordered a pepperoni pizza half pineapple half bacon, buffalo wings and Mac and cheese balls. The Mac and cheese balls were garbage. They were made for cheap mac and cheese in some weird breading, no flavor, we took one bite and didn’t eat them. The buffalo wings were also not good. Just all spice, no flavor as well.. super disappointing in both. The pizza was actually pretty good. If you come here for anything let it be the pizza and nothing else. The beer selection on draft was crazy! So many choices and my wife did enjoy her beer, the woman who took our order was very kind and helpful when we decided what to order. The inside was also decked out such a beachy vibes and seemed like a cool place to come hang out with your friends and have a good time. Overall it was just okay. I did appreciate the self serve ranch! It was a decent ranch. Not the best though.

The pizza wasn't good and the prices seemed high. The place was crowded but I can't understand why, except maybe for the pitchers of beer and kids arcade.

It looked pretty good based on the online menu. When we showed up, there was no parking and we use the lot across the street. For 2 hours of parking, we were charged $25. We were a large group with three cars, so that was a significant chunk of money. The place was loud, and the service was slow. Prices were high. There was a jukebox play in mostly reggae from the 90s. That was fine, until eek-a-mouse ended and someone discovered that it was also loaded with Christian rock. 😠 I guess if you're walking or biking it's fine, but it's not a place to drive to.

Loved the beer and that’s about it really. Spent a good amount with my family for dinner. Service was great,no problem there. Location awesome. Food.. ehh. Ordered salad (family size) looks plain, nothing mixed together basically zero effort in presentation. Wings were mushy, not hot enough couldn’t even grab them. Pizza not fully cut making it fall apart when you had to tear apart by hand. Not that great of an effort in my honest opinion. Too many corners are being cut. P.s. I actually have been working in the food business for many years and I only post rating when I’m truly disappointed with the food. Small changes can definitely make this place amazing but until then. 2 stars in my book.

Sad, how time has caused THIS branch to loose it's glamour of fame for a " Pizza Port " store, where Many years ago, when they first opened, World class Double IPA's !! Great !! Service and Pizza exactly how you ordered it, NOT anymore. I came into the store Jan.2, 2022 there was almost NOBODY in the restaurant, ONLY 6 or 7 staff members behind the counter, I first attempted to order my pizza , and the young lady told me ,I could order it from my the beer team ( as I had told her I wasn't sure which I should order first, ) the gentleman who helped me with tasters , while at first was Very anxious to please , soon became Abit testy over hearing my conversation with my friend , then once we got handed our beers, he short poured my friends pint by over an inch of foam, I said to him, Hey you ARE going to top that off aren't you, and his first remark was how difficult of a customer I Was, said " OH, So you're one of Those guys huh" " hard to please" he said, " we're told two fingers from the top " I about flipped my wig, what kind of B S. customer service and response is THIS, he DID finally top it off, BTW, the quality of the current local brewed IPA , Sucked really, ALMOST No carbonation either, So then I asked about ordering a Pizza, He directed me Back to the other employee, who STILL had No other customers, who told me to order from Him. I asked for a Double Pepperoni with half Onions I believe my picture tells ty he rest of That story Never going to Pizza Port in O.B for a Double Pepperoni pizza again EITHER, NOR Beer NOTE !!!!! the Very last photo is a Major competitors ( Out of " good taste " , { pardon the pun } Leaving Out the name of the competitor ) version of an Extra pepperoni pizza for even Much Less you do the math

Honestly really disappointing. Me and my friend came in expecting some amazing pizza and left with disappointment. Generous toppings but just way too many of them. We were scraping gobs of cheese off because it was so thick you couldn't really taste the rest of the pizza. Even then, the remaining topping to base proportions felt off and the doneness was meh. Also it's confusing that the pizza by the slice seems to be thin cut but the pizza by the pie is a lot thicker

90 minute wait for pizza!!! Ridiculous! Was told that the wait would be 30 to 40 minutes, but it took 90 minutes.. the pizzas itself (BBQ chicken and cheese) were mediocre, definitely not the best pizzas I’ve ever had and would definitely not wait that long ever. The wine was the best thing we got.

I came to this pizza place and was told it would take about 30–40 minutes for a to-go order. However, even after waiting for over an hour, my food still wasn’t ready. When I went to ask about it, the staff rudely told me, “Can’t you see how busy we are?” and said they couldn’t give me an estimated time. The person taking orders even said they weren’t the one making the pizza, so how could they possibly know the estimate—basically telling me to just wait if I wanted to. To make things worse, other customers who arrived after me got their orders taken care of much faster, and even people who ordered after me received their food before mine. It was incredibly frustrating. They clearly have no understanding of customer service. Yes, they might be busy, but that’s no excuse for being disrespectful or ungrateful to their customers. They don’t seem to appreciate the people who wait patiently for their food, nor do they show any sense of apology for the long delay.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience really shouldn’t happen. The food and atmosphere are great, but the takeout service was extremely disappointing. My order was delayed for over an hour, and when I asked about it, the cashier responded “Can’t you see how busy we are?” That’s not an acceptable way to treat customers. The restaurant even has a sign on the wall saying “Pizza takes 30 to 40 minutes,” which I pointed out, but the cashier replied, “I don’t know how long it will take and I’m not the pizza maker.” The kitchen staff were right next to the counter, yet no one tried to communicate or update me untill kitchen staff noticed me while arguing. It really felt like they cared more about making money than about customer service, as if losing one customer wouldn’t matter due to retaurant's popularity. Even after finally receiving my order, I couldn’t enjoy the pizza with my family because of the unpleasant experience.
