Can I just say I was weary of the hype around this place. But, I'm so impressed. The food was good. The customer service, impeccable. The gentleman Wes greeted us soon as we came in and was an instant joy! He helped recommend what to try and ended up upselling the heck out of us because we wanted to try everything he suggested. He was so great with my elderly parents. Good product can only take a place so far, but the customer experience is what will bring me back. I can't say enough about Wes, that dude does it all while cheering on the rest of the team. It was clean friendly and just a pleasant change from other such places!

Nice counter person really helped with our selection. Cheese fries were surprisingly crisp and tasty. Burgers were well thought out flavor wise. Premium ingredients were not that expensive. I will definitely be back.

Shake shack gotta be the best fast food style burger. Service in this location is great, the spot is also cool and comfy. You don't exactly feel crowded or in a rush like when going to your regular fast food branch.

I love this place. Honestly, it’s a bit more expensive than some competitors, but you get quality and flavor in every single bite. The ordering system is high-tech, the place is very clean, and the atmosphere is great. They serve you quickly, even though it’s always busy.

Overall I would recommend Shake Shack to anyone. I got the Smoke Shack with Bacon Cheese Fries. Very good burger, I really like the potato bun. I really like the lemonade and the seasonal lemonades as well, and they give free refills which is nice.

yes, I’m always gonna give shake shack an excellent five star review because the food is awesome it’s great and whenever I have an opportunity to eat shake shack, I will go all in especially that I’m more of a vegetarian and I did order the they’re awesome veggie shack. This is a mission valley and it’s a very nice beautiful scenic area. I wish you could see the view from my perspective.

Fantastic burgers!! Went for a late night bite and was not disappointed. Excellent service. The burgers are a little small, but good quality. I will order two next time. Clean restaurant, courteous employees! I will definitely be returning with my whole crew 🦜 Yar!!!

I recently ate at In & Out so it only made sense to try Shake Shack just down the street. I'm new to the area so this location was a bit tricky to find, but I managed. Cool modern looking building with hip vibe inside. Big place with plenty of seating to handle the inevitable crowds. Ordered the basic cheeseburger, crinkle cut fries and chocolate shake. Order came to $15.05 and came out quickly considering how busy it was. I loved the fries (better than In&Out IMHO). The burger was good! I loved the taste and quality and also thought it was better than my In & Out.. but it was slightly smaller. Shake was yummy too. I left feeling full and enjoyed the experience. Fun place.

Solid smash burger, for time and it was very satisfying. Not the best burger I have ever tasted, but a very good one. I gave four stars for service because you don’t really interact with anyone in the atmosphere is quiet and not busy. I would definitely eat here again as the food cost in SD and this spot was reasonably priced. Shakes are tasty also.

Nice resturant that is fairly large inside. You place your order on a touchscreen tablet which is nice as you can customize your ingredients and view all food and shake options. They bring the food to your table once ready. The Coffee Shake was very good, the Christmas Cookie Shake was ok, a little too sweet, but different. They only have a few flavor options as many are seasonal. The hamburger was good, a little greasy for me, but of high quality. The restaurant is kind of hidden just down the road from the Mall. Parking is a little limited, but there were spots. I would suggest going for the shakes, they were very good!

I ordered online for pick up. I ordered a smoke shack double and onion rings I got shorted a patty it was too late to do anything about it I was not going back after a ten minute drive. Check your patties! Onion rings were amazing! Burger was tasty wish I got what I paid for. Also this was my first time eating at shake shack so I am somewhat disappointed in quality control aspect since an ad I saw said it’s a real kitchen.

We usually order pickup through the app, always on point, great quality. Unfortunately tonight it was different. We ordered 4 items: - double avocado bacon burger and it didn’t have any avocado, it had lettuce instead. - French fries that were cooler that room temperature if that’s possible. - onion rings and French onion shack stack, both pretty good. I also asked for garlic aioli, it was broken. The oil separated from the solids, they shouldn’t be handling that to any costumer. Since it was a pickup I didn’t check the food until I got home, 7 mins away. Its the first time ever that I have had a quality issue with shake shack. I hope it’s just a bad day.

Updated to three stars since I reached out to corporate and received a refund (I ordered on the app). I ordered a veggie burger and fries and didn’t realize I received a cheeseburger until I got home. I called the store and they offered to email me a gift card but I never received anything or heard back. Waste of money and time. Check your takeout orders.

Went there twice in a row 😂. First night was good as usual . Last night now raw onions weren’t available . The front counter offered me crispy onions I said ok . Manager said no raw or crispy onions. I actually ordered a bbq burger that came with crispy onions.

Sign on the window that says no smoking. This location allowed it. We were sitting outside with 3 small children and a table of 3 people lights up cigarettes right next to us. I asked about smoking outside and they said it was allowed. Pretty hard to enjoy food with the smell of cigarettes. Pretty disgusting and bad for other people who don't smoke. Disappointing that we had to leave to eat our food. Don't recommend if you don't want your food to taste like cigarettes. Two other tables left at the same time because of this.
