Opinions de Panini Kabob Grill San Diego
Service was great and the food was excellent. I will be going back soon! The meat platter enough for two people. I don't remember my waitors name but he started my journey to excellence by the way he greeted me!
Panini Kabob Grill is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying! The food is always made with high-quality ingredients from the perfectly grilled kabobs and tender chicken to the fresh salads and warm, fluffy pita bread. Everything tastes homemade and healthy without sacrificing flavor. The portions are generous, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. It’s a great spot for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or even takeout when you want something wholesome and delicious. If you’re craving Mediterranean food done right, Panini Kabob Grill is a go-to favorite that never disappoints!
One of the best places for a great meal in this area. The place is always sparkling clean and the food delicious with generous portions. They have indoor amd outdoor seating here.
Food was delicious, service was excellent, atmosphere was ok got better when the loud kids left... 1st time here, went with friends, had a great time, food was very tasty had the lamb. Wife and I will definitely be back
Absolutely loved my experience at Panini Kabob Grill in Mission Valley! The food and service were nothing short of amazing. I had the beef kabob, and it was incredibly tasty—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable One of the best parts is the convenience of the location; it's right next to the freeway, making it super easy to get to. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus! If you’re looking for delicious food and great service, I highly recommend checking out Panini Kabob Grill. Can't wait to return!
There are many different Panini kabob grills all over that we visit and the Mission valley is the one that we probably frequent the least, but it is still just as fantastic as the ones we typically go to. The food is unbelievably good but I have to be honest, I almost never break away from the ABF Chicken kabob plate w/ strawberry & date salad topped with pomegranate vinaigrette and basmati rice. I have had appetizers such as the falafel, the hummus trio appetizer plate and whatever they call the appetizer sampler which are also delicious and I think one time I did try the beef kebabs.... but out of the probably 25+ times I've been there I typically order the same exact thing because it's so good. Everything that I mentioned above is highly recommended. The staff & service that they provide are excellent at this location. Very nice and prompt. Parking can be a bit brutal at this location but if you live in the mission valley area, nothing new. If you're not from the mission valley area, just know that if you drive around for a bit you should be able to find a spot. The only reason I knocked the atmosphere down to four out of 5 stars is because there was a large group with kids that were out of control right next to us the last time we ate there and they had their trash all over the ground, the kids were running around and screaming. Totally not the restaurants fault and the restaurant is typically very clean and full of well-mannered people but that group was a bit unruly.
Really good food, sizable portions, and reasonable portions! Just be patient waiting for your food. It will likely be a few minutes, but it will be fresh. Enjoy! The falafel was excellent. Nice crust and soft inside.
Amazing, friendly, professional service with a kind attitude, THANK YOU Amy! Glad to see Amy was a trainer of new team members. The GM came to check on us and was also terrific. Everyone else did a great job as well. The food was fresh and tasty. The entire establishment is clean and organized. Central location with plenty of parking. They are now part of our go-to spots list.
Excellent selection and very healthy options. Good vegetarian options too. Clean with lots of seating(patio or inside) we both had kabobs and shared a humus variety plate. I’ll be a regular here! Lorenzo the manager was super nice too. Our food was made fresh daily. Can’t wait to go again!
Best Best Best Mediterranean food in San Diego. Hands down to it's crunchy, tasty and inside soft Falafel 😋 🧆 . HUMMUS PLATTER or Hummus Trio is a must try ! Their linguine veggie Alfredo Pasta was very good too. The quantity of veggies was rich ! Balanced cheese and oil spreading for authentic taste and aroma in food. Tip : Also try their Green lentil soup.... 😀

I’m a regular at this restaurant and especially enjoy dining in. The food always seems to taste even better when it’s served fresh at the restaurant compared to takeout. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are good. I’ve brought several friends here to try the food, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend if you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine.
We came in last night and ordered beef kabobs. The two of us each wanted just one skewer with basmati rice and Mediterranean salad (normally $18 per plate). When the bill came, it was only $26 total. We thought our waitress may have undercharged us, so we asked. She explained that she took the initiative to save us money by combining the two skewers into one order ($20) and just adding an extra salad ($4). We were honestly so impressed by her thoughtfulness. I asked for her name, Kiahra. Thank you, Kiahra! The food was very fresh, and as always, the beef kabob at this location was delicious and juicy. We’ll definitely be back.

Beef and lamb are absolutely tender soft and juicy, as a professional bbq skewer chef myself. If you don’t like authentic food flavor plus the grilling smell of flame🔥 , but prefer artificial sauces, this is not a place for you.
Loved the strawberry date salad. Other food items were pretty solid. Downside was outdoor seating at night. There’s no light and it’s very dim - all the patrons asked if they could brighten it up. Even staff said management has heard these complaints but won’t do anything about it. Recommend eating inside.
The dishes here are bomb! I really loved the hummus trio plate they serve. The main dishes are also very tasty and huge! The only thing that they should be more careful on is the cleaniness of the place. I found it a little trashy, and the tables dis not feel too clean. 4/5.

Very delicious and good quality food! Very clean. You have to wait to get the service though!

Finally got a chance to try out PKG. I was greeted right away upon entering. Friendly staff. We started with the falafel combo appetizer. It had falafel, hummus, a bit of salad greens, pita bread and cucumbers. Everything was very tasty. For my entree I ordered the chicken shish kabob. It had a great flavor and a good amount of grilled veggies. My husband had the beef kabob. My son had the bow tie pasta with butter. Not a very big kids menu. But all in all I enjoyed my visit.
Lunch date with friends at Panini Kabob Grill in Mission Valley. Restaurant is located in a shopping mall close to the freeway. Plenty of parkings. We dined outdoor and the tables are spaced out properly so we didn’t feel crowded. We came to the restaurant during peak lunch hours so our waiter was running around crazy serving both indoor and outdoor customers. He took our orders and recommended the jumbo shrimp kabob plate, which was tasty but slightly overcooked. The Mediterranean Greek salad on the shrimp kabob plate was very well prepared and delicious. We had the green lentil soup which came less than lukewarm so we had to ask the waitstaff to warm it up. The soup was too watery and not savory enough and won’t be ordering that next time. Overall, this restaurant is a good place to eat and to catchup with friends. We stayed there for over two hours and waitstaff did not rush us out. We probably would come back here to eat after the peak lunch hours are over.

I went there for the 1st time this evening. At first, I thought the amount of food was good. But it was also a bit pricey. I asked for dressing on the side of my salad & it came drenched in dressing, watching my lettuce do the back stroke in the sweet dressing. I don't mind sweet but I like to just dip my fork in a little before getting some salad for a little taste. I asked if they had iced tea. Server said yes. I put my sevia in it & it tasted nasty like it'd gone bad & way too sweet. At the end, I asked if it was peach. The waitress said, "Yes. It's ginger peach." I said, "That's why it tasted funny." She said, "Oh, you didn't like it." (A full glass still on the table - duh!) I said, "No. This is my first time here and no one told me." She didn't offer to take it off my bill. I still gave her a dollar tip. But honestly felt like not giving a tip at all to make up for the over-priced, nasty tea!

Stopped by here this week. The food was absolutely bland. The beef shown on my photos was extremely dry, no flavor and chewy. The service was ok, but the food was a disaster. Will not go back.
I had a very disappointing experience at Panini Kabob Grill. The rice was cold and completely lacking in flavor, with no seasoning at all. The kebab itself was tough and poorly seasoned—the meat was hard to chew and had an unpleasant taste. To make matters worse, both the management and the waiter were rude and dismissive, showing no concern for customer satisfaction. This was definitely my last visit to this place. I won’t be coming back.

I would give zero stars if I could. I do NOT recommend this location at all. We took a guest here for dinner, and this restaurant honestly left us embarrassed. The moment we walked in, the odor inside was horrible — it smelled like a bathroom and sewage. Because of that, we chose to sit outside on the patio. The food was extremely disappointing. We ordered koobideh kebabs and they tasted nothing like meat — just pure fat and not fresh at all. My guest couldn’t eat their food, and I ended up sick all night. On top of that, the staff kept carrying large trash bags back and forth while we were eating, and they were mopping and sweeping right next to us without any awareness that people were dining. The worst part is that I called the next day. The lady I spoke with said she would talk to management and call me back after her two days off — and she never called back.
Usually I love coming to panini kabob but this location it was horrible. I ordered my typical tofu kabob and when I got it the edamame hummus was super acidic meaning that it was bad. The lime vinaigrette it was mostly oil and it didn’t have barely any lime. And when I talked to the “manager” was unapologetic and gave me a hard time to change my order. I’ve been ordering here for years now at several location so I would expect that when something is rotten or gone bad you would change without questioning. Also when I received my new plate the tofu was missing. What an unprofessional experience at this particular location. Had to wait an extra 30 mins btw
