I had great experience here overall. 1 of my favorite smoothie stores locally, especially for quality & form/type & variety of ingredients, & for customization options, & relatively affordable (medium cost rate, not highly expensive). Staff was helpful in answering my questions & helping me get customized smoothie that I was trying to get to fit my food/diet preference/restrictions. They allowed customized smoothies or create my own custom smoothie from ingredients. The store indoor public area was small. Small space for standing in line or waiting for order. Arrangement mainly seems for ordering, or waiting for orders or for pickup. Few people when I was there in evenings or nights, so there was no long line or long waiting. A little seating & few tables outside. A few more seats & tables nearby that may be available in front of other stores. Also, you may find a little more public seating in mall or shopping centers for eating. Bathroom, no public bathroom. You can find public bathrooms nearby in the mall(s) or other stores or shopping centers, some listed on mall directory signs/lists. Parking. Plenty of free parking nearby, outside street level, mall parking, & even more underground parking further away in the mall. Public transit. Nearby, trolley Green Line station, & bus route 6. Further, Fashion Valley Mall transit center, a major hub. Located as part of Mission Valley Mall, Northwest corner, in separate buildings. Also very much other shopping nearby, several other malls or shopping centers, & movie theaters too (3 movie theaters close by), Hazard Center mall, Fashion Valley Mall, & more. Many specialty & department stores. -- They would customize any smoothie or let me create my own. I guess same for other items like bowls & shots & juices? I have only tried smoothies. The staff seemed somewhat knowledgeable about the ingredients. The staff were helpful in answering my questions, & trying to get me what I wanted versus don't want, & Even asked me about options just in case (like juice versus whole food. Also check the provided pamphlets with info, or online. May need to research online, if serious dietary restrictions or needs. I will even ask if I can look at ingredients on their packages, especially for items that tend to have extra ingredients like powder or boosts or add-ons; unfortunately some will have extra unwanted ingredients, such as protein powder having other non-protein or non-flavor ingredients (carbs, fats, possible allergens, etc.).

Despite being very busy, Jake made sure to check in the back for any online orders (like mine). He kept my smoothies in the fridge to keep cool the whole time and he was doing a great job handling the crowd. My smoothies were delicious and filling!

Despite being very busy, Jake made sure to check in the back for any online orders (like mine). He kept my smoothies in the fridge to keep cool the whole time and he was doing a great job handling the crowd. My smoothies were delicious and filling!

Tonight I called ahead to order a drink pretty last minute, and the young lady on the phone was incredibly kind and helpful. She explained the ingredients in certain drinks to help me choose what to order while I was busy driving. When I picked up my order it was ready and so delicious. The staff here is amazing, and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Con: Takes a long time and tons of energy to get anything out. Pro: You burn more calories and work to increase your capacity for patience as you do. It’s almost a cruel joke. Two things about my acai bowl. It was the most expensive acai bowl I’ve ever bought. It was also the most melty acai I’ve had. It’s better when it’s frozen and has some texture to it.

I’ve been a customer for about three months now and I’m really sad to give it a two star review. I’m paying $1.50 more for the same thing I would get at one of the North County locations (San Marcos), but I’m getting away less food. They don’t even fill it near the top anymore and I’m paying way more. I also get less fruit in this bowl compared to the North County location, San Marcos.

We ordered ahead of time in the app, a good 25-30 minutes before we arrived, and when we arrived, they had not even started to make our drinks. The two guys working had no sense of urgency or even seemed to care. They caused us to be late to an appointment. Will not be returning.

I ordered online at 3:20 PM and arrived at 3:30 PM to a lobby full of impatient people and only two employees working. After a few minutes I asked one of the ladies how long she had been waiting and she responded “30 minutes.” Eventually a couple people stormed out and one lady told them that they need to let people know if they can’t make an order in under 10 minutes so they can choose somewhere else to go. After waiting another 10 minutes I kindly asked for an ETA on my order, at which point they told me they couldn’t find any record of it. They rang in my order again and said that they needed to charge me again, even though I had confirmation of my previous order and payment…??? At that point it had been 30 minutes since I had ordered and was going to be incredibly late to my appointment so I just agreed in frustration to being charged again just so I could get my smoothie and leave. But then they handed me a smoothie that was clearly made wrong, and not filled up to the top of the cup. I told them the drink is supposed to be brown, not white, because it’s a chocolate smoothie, and the employee just blankly stared back… didn’t offer to remake it. I grabbed a straw and left. Got in my car at 4:00 PM (40 minutes since ordering my drink) only to realize the smoothie was made so thick that I couldn’t even drink it through the straw. I was so mad I went somewhere else and had them throw it away. I will never go back to this location in fear of the same service being repeated. ******** I want to point out, that a tip jar was on the counter with a note saying “we’re all students, please tip.” There was no sign of a manager or anyone who seemed to be in charge to ensure the shift was running smoothly. I don’t blame the kids working there for not being able to handle a busy rush or customer service issues when they don’t even look old enough to buy beer. This location needs stable management of some kind, because if every day was like this, they would lose all their customers.

Ordered a polar pineapple smoothie on my day off to feel a little better. I got food poisoning within 1 hour. Forced to miss 2 days of work, my sisters birthday, my moms birthday, my girlfriends birthday, 2 ER visits 4 days apart from each other. When I called robeks to tell them, the response I got seemed they do this often and don’t care either. I used to order from here 3 days a week but now i’ll be taking my business elsewhere and will work on closing all robeks in the area, as I have found out this happens very often. They use rotten fruit, expired milk, and if you have an allergy they will still put the allergy in the drink for they do not care.

I usually go to the Mira Mesa location, but decided to stop by here instead. Unfortunately, the smoothie had an odd and unpleasant aftertaste. On top of that, the staff was rude and unprofessional—two teenage boys in particular, especially the blond one, were snarky and dismissive. The experience was nothing like the consistently positive service I’ve had at the Mira Mesa location.

They stopped servicing half their menu 45 min before closing. I’m sure if the owner found out they would not have a job. Not coming back poor service!

I went today to and ordered a blue gorilla and because I'm allergic to peanut butter recipe to replace it with almond butter, but when I got my shake and got in the car, I tasted peanut butter in my throat closed, and I am laying here in bed sick. I won't be returning to this location and they should take better caution of people that have allergies. they are lucky that I did not have to go to the hospital that I'm lucky with my allergies when I drink water the symptoms go away. Also, they should try smiling when they are taking your order.:)

We go to Robeks often. So we know the menu . What is new what they retired ect...they are always very clean and everyone is super nice. That being said this location is by far sub-par. Upon arriving to order the girl up front just starred at us. No "hi welcome blah blah blah" - no worries we continued to order and the girl didn't understand we wanted to order something off the menu and we understood they no longer had dates. Finally a the girl in the back came up and helped out. Cool no worries.... upon looking around the place was dirty...napkins in floor, not swept, musty, and employees loomed miserable. We got our drinks and toast to go. Watered down drinks and Hair in toast put us in a foul mood. Actually ended up throwing away the toast cause my little girl wouldn't eat it. Unfortunately we won't be coming back to this location.
