Habit Burger has a Jalapeño Char burger as their seasonal burger and it was delectable. The fresh lettuce, tomatoes and jalapeños along with the perfectly cooked burger and toasted bun really make the taste buds explode. And the onion rings at a the Habit are always a solid side and probably in the top three onion rings in San Diego. Delicious all around. We were greeted promptly by Jason upon entering and he did an excellent job answering our questions about the seasonal burger. He efficiently checked us out and handed us a pager that would ring when the food was ready. The location was clean, well lit and organized.

Talk about amazing quality and super affordable prices!! We got the Portobello Burgers combos and the Chicken bites, I was expecting an ok meal, and I was so in awe of the quality, flavor, and not to mention that Strawberry lemonade with cucumber and the Mango Lemonade that tastes so fresh and good and today was specially a hot day it was just perfect!! Fast and accurate service with great looking food and great prices, is a yes for me ;)

Went for lunch with my wife. My wife ordered the double Charburger hold the mayonnaise I ordered the double Char Burger with cheese hold the mayonnaise. We also shared an order of garlic fries. The burgers were both very good. Very reminiscent In and Out Burger but with probably twice the amount of meat. The the grilled onions, tomato and lettuce we're all fresh and added to the flavor of the Burger. The garlic fries, however, were quite a disappointment. They appear to be regular fries sprayed (soaked) with a garlic infused oil after they come out of the fryer. They were extremely oily and quite inedible. We ended up changing them for an order of regular fries, which were hot, crispy and satisfying . All and all I would have to say an excellent Burger experience, we will definitely be going back to try the Santa Barbara Burger and maybe a few of the other menu items. The service was fast and friendly. The decor was clean and rather simple, and they also had a nice outdoor dining area with heaters.

This is a pretty solid burger spot. I've never left unhappy. They have a pretty good sized menu including burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, chicken nuggets, fries and my favorite, the tempura green beans. I got the classic Charburger with cheese. The burgers come with grilled onions, but you can ask for raw. The condiment bar including ketchup and some hot peppers, whole and sliced. I'd say if you haven't tried The Habit, go ahead and give it a go. I think you'll be presently surprised.

This is located near Marshals and Old Navy shopping mall area in Mission Valley. Habit burger are delicious and I have tried something new the Korean Kimuchi burger but actually it is kinda pricey only for one burger cost close to $9!! It wasn’t combo. I thought they need more clean inside the restaurants on the tables and those trash area. It was full of the trash.

I personally love The Habit’s burgers and fries though the service at this particular location was not up their usual standards. On top of waiting 20+ minutes for my curbside order to never come, I went into the store (I don’t really mind doing so) to see my order just sitting their at the counter and still had to get the drinks myself. On top of all this, when I finally get home ready to eat I find out that my burger was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for no pickles plus the fries were burnt which ruined my night. Overall good burgers, bad fries (this time around), and lousy service……….

Honest Critiques

My online order for no seasoning was not honored. My burgers arrived quickly, cold, not even luke warm. Tasting the burgers and looking at them, they were not newly prepared and burgers obviously were precooked with seasoning. My money is valuable, and made to order requests, should absolutely be honored.

Terrible food. It was ready in 1 minute. Not fresh at all. They re-fry fries, green beans and re-heat burgers that are left out on the side of the grill. See the pictures, out in the open. "Made to order" is false advertisement. Horrible experience, never eating here again. Expensive for nothing, really disappointing.. In N' Out is much much better and just down the road.

Meet the rude manager. I won’t post her name, but will show her face. To avoid the counter service I use the kiosk, which actually is a good idea because the service is so bad here that you almost don’t want to deal with them. unfortunately, the scanner wasn’t accepting my offer so I went to the counter, explained to her and she gave me this look like I can’t help you and said “well I guess it’s not taking so you have to try something else,” I kept saying can you come over here so I can show you what’s happening. after three times telling her to come over to the kiosk she reluctantly rolled her eyes, slow rolled to the kiosk, Try to do it herself and realize what I was saying was true and then she says well then I have to do it at the counter. She was very reluctant and lazy because I took her away from her cell phone time while she’s on the clock. She was on her cellphone constantly, back to the counter. She’d rather be on her phone that help paying customers. To the franchise owner, I WILL be contacting corporate and sending all my photos. These are the only two I’ll post here. The others via email.
