Had dinner here last weekend and overall it was a pretty solid experience. The menu had a good variety of New American dishes, and I tried the grilled salmon which was cooked just right—moist and flavorful. The atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed, perfect for a casual night out. Service was friendly, though a little slow during the peak hour, but nothing too annoying. I also appreciated that the drink menu had some creative options beyond the usual sodas and beers. Prices seemed fair for the quality and portion size. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area again and want a laid-back dinner with decent food.

This was my first time at the Yard House and it was a nice visit! I can tell that the staff focuses on high quality customer service. The food is delicious as well! The happy hour menu is extensive and has the most options I have seen from any restaurant. I ordered the sliders, the boneless wings, and the Margherita Pizza. Everything was cooked well, had great flavor, and was also a good portion! My server was helpful and checked in regularly. This is great spot to watch sports; there are TVs everywhere. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items. Eat up!!!

I was lucky enough to meet Laisa today. Let me tell you, she was the sweetest young lady. Very attentive and she had great energy. She is one heck of a bartender and has restored my faith in mojitos.

My husband has been to different locations and loved them but this was our families first time at this one. Right off the bat the atmosphere was a vibe. They were packed and staff were so friendly. The food was amazing, everything we wanted. Our picky child got a burger and actually loved it. We are only in town for a few days but we might go back before we leave.

August 2025/ Rated 5 Star: I made it back to the same location...approximately 9 months later. This time, I had made it out with my partner. From beginning to end, our dining experience at Yard House in Mission Valley was tops. We were immediately seated at booth table (my preference). Liz was our server. She was attentive, friendly, helpful and patient...5 star server. She gave us a moment as it was our first time for Happy Hour. Lots to choose from, it was hard to decide. Everything on the menu looked good. We finally placed our order and food items arrived at our table in no time. Fresh, crispy, tasty, hot and ready. We enjoyed every bite. PS expected to bite into a softer seared tuna October 2024/ Rated 4 Star: I had met up with a group of my coworkers at the Yard House for approximately an hour as I had plans to be at another function afterwards. I only ordered a drink while the others had their dinner meal and/or appetizers. There was 15 of us, some of us arrived at different times and left at different times. So glad our server was able to hang in there, especially with all our wants and needs. According to the group, food was tasty, food was good. No complaints. At mid week, the place was wall to wall. Busy and lots of movement all over the restaurant. I don’t recall Yard House being crazy busy when I had dinner and drinks with my friends 10-15 years ago. I plan to return to Yard House sometime soon.

Yes, yes, yes. What a restaurant. We loved it. Food was amazing, staff were amazing and we all left happy and full. Stop here Friday afternoon. Place was full and hoping at the same time. Liz was our server and she was amazing. Food was perfect. Atmosphere was great and all staff were approachable and kind and friendly. Best place we had eaten in San Diego. Return again and food and service was amazing. Nothing left on the plates. Steve the manager was amazing. Checked all tablets which I always think is a sign of a great manager. All staff are very kind. Everyone in the party was delighted to return. 3rd visit. Lunchtime specials are amazing. Huge portions, amazing prices and just a great place to eat. 3rd amazing server. Front of house staff are great. They said welcome back. It's the small things. Our first server came over and said hello too. Can't recommend this place enough.

Yard House is a big American sports-bar chain with plenty of seating, but it still gets very busy. There are lots of options for both food and drinks, which is great. I had the cheeseburger and enjoyed it, although I wish it came with tomato and lettuce as well. Overall, a solid spot for casual dining.

I met a group of people from a social MEETUP group for an early dinner on New Year's Day (2026). The food was pretty good, The atmosphere was okay. The place is very noisy. People sitting next to each other almost had to shout to be heard and we had to shout at the wait staff when placing our food order. The happy hour half price on appetizers was a really good deal. I'd give this place a B+. I would be okay going there again for another happy hour.

Very expensive for the portions, but very tasty food. Got the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak and the Spicy Jambalaya with Spicy Rice. Both were very good.

They have a great Happy Hour! We went here to grab something to eat before our movie started at the AMC theatre next door. Service was good. Our waiter took our orders soon after we sat down and she checked on us often. The portions were large too.

The restaurant is nice and is capable of holding large groups. The food is very tasty and the portions are good, it will definitely fill you up. However, there is a little bit of a walk from the parking lot to the restaurant itself, which is not very friendly for the elderly or handicapped. The service is very good and fast, as well as the servers are very nice. It has a nice vibe in it as well. I would definitely recommend for a family or friends outing for lunch or dinner.

I am writing this review with genuine disappointment, particularly since I have dined at this restaurant many times during peak weekend hours and have always been pleased with the service, even when the place was absolutely packed. Unfortunately, our experience this Thanksgiving was unacceptable. We were seated promptly, and while the dining room was certainly busy, it was by no means overwhelmed; there was no waitlist, and the staff seemed plentiful. I am sympathetic to the difficulties of working on a holiday, but this level of neglect was inexplicable. Our server, Ryan, introduced himself immediately and was friendly enough, swiftly bringing us a round of water. That was the last we saw of him. We waited patiently for over 20 minutes, with menus closed and ready to place our order. During this time, Ryan never checked back, nor did any other staff member acknowledge our presence. Given that the restaurant was not operating at its maximum capacity (as I have witnessed on many weekends), there is simply no excuse for a server to disappear for that long. We eventually realized we were wasting our time and simply got up and left. It’s truly a shame that our Thanksgiving meal plans were ruined by such poor organization and total lack of attention from the service staff. Management needs to address why a seemingly fully staffed dining room couldn't handle basic check-ins. We won't be returning anytime soon
