⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tandoori House is hands down one of my favorite lunch spots. I always come in for the lunch special and it never disappoints. The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned every time. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The customer service is amazing as well. Welcoming, attentive, and consistent. They always make me feel appreciated as a regular. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. If you haven’t tried the lunch special yet you’re missing out.
This is our go to Indian spot. The food is always consistently tasty, a medium is a great level for my heat loving Caucasian pallet, and the family is so kind. Our favorite dishes are the lamb korma, garlic naan, samosa chaat and saag paneer. We always get take out so I can’t comment on dining in but grabbing a delicious meal from Tandoori House is always a hit in our home. We love this place!
Excellent food and in good portions. Not much to look at and feels like it's seen better days, but the food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service was friendly. Well be back when the next craving for Indian hits.
I was in the area for a show. Got some Curry Chicken and Rice to go. A nice surprise! Texture was on point, a bit spicy, a lil heavy with the (cinnamon & sweet spice?) Chicken was tender and cooked exquisitely. Let's be clear: It is VERY GOOD! I appreciate a little "heavy-handedness" from time to time. Heavy, but not overdone. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy flavorful Indian food.
Food was AMAZING! 😍 After a long day traveling, it hit the spot, my husband and I were both members of the clean plate club and that never happens... I've had plenty of garlic naan in my life but saw the cheese - garlic naan and had to try it - it was to die for 😋 We had the butter chicken and chicken curry 🍛 both had amazing flavor and spice. Definitely recommend!
It's like mom and pop style. When you come in, it's Saturday, lunchtime, not busy so atmosphere is quiet. The aromas are delightful from the moment you step out of your car, they draw you in. I ordered the lunch special with a vegetable samosa. The samosa comes with a mint and a tamarind chutney (2). For the lunch special I ordered Saag Paneer and Chicken Mekhani. It also came with Naan and Basmati rice. The food was AMAZING. Took me back to my college days when I got to experience Indian food for the first time and fell in love. I definitly recommend this place and you'll also be helping a local mom and pop restaurant while enjoying the comfort of great food in the community without flying to India.
Food was very good! They will usually ask you for the spiciness on a scale of 1-10, but by spiciness they MEAN it! The naan is spectacular; fluffy and delectable! The service was great! It was quick and nice! The atmosphere was cozy, but the restaurant was quite small. Cons: One on the dishes had a hair in it.
The food here is delicious, the portion size pretty good especially since I got their lunch special. My usual is their chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. I gave 4 stars for service since they only gave me my order, there was no silverware or napkins (if they weren't going to provide it in the bag they should have asked me) nor their chutney. I do highly recommend their food and will be back again.
Chai, Samosas and onion bhajiya were well made and we loved it. The food was not oily and spiced to perfection. This location is conveniently located and has large variety of selection. The ambiance is good and the dude in the front desk is very accommodating. If you pay by credit card there is 3% surcharge.
My mom and I ordered from here through Grubhub. The food delivery was timely and our food was hot when we received it. We got the Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice, Vegetable Korma with no spice, and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was so good, my mom and I finished it up so quickly. Both the Chicken Tikka Masala and Vegetable Korma were delicious, the tikka masala was creamy and flavorful. The only thing I'll complain about is that our order didn't have any utensils whatsoever even though I checked the utensils box on Grubhub. We were lucky that our accommodation had plastic spoons. Other than that, we enjoyed the food.
This place is not much to look at on the outside or inside. It looks like a fast food restaurant, and all the beverages are served in cans or plastic bottles. The service was not friendly or welcoming. But the food was fantastic. The vegetable korma was spicy and flavored with mild curry, ginger and garlic and had big chunks of carrot and potato. The tandoori chicken was moist with a sweet, garlicky pepper flavor that was excellent. Lunch portion comes with a hefty order of light flaky naan. You won't leave hungry. The lunch special is a great deal. I recommend getting the food as take out or delivery. Parking can be challenging.
Having tried many Indian restaurants in Southern California. I wanted try this place, I wasn’t thrilled or disappointed. I must confess the staff members of extremely friendly. The food was spicy, but certainly didn’t have the flavors. The dishes missed the Indian authentic flavor. Great location, tidy, neat and nice open decor. The mango lassi was exceptional. Little pricey!
Well, from the outside and inside we thought this place wasn't going to be any good. I was surprised by how the food came out and how they make the food a real 10 in the spiciness department. Other similar places in the area can't makes 10 on the scale from 1-10 they get a 6-7 out of 10 at most. The staff is very nice and helpful when ordering food. Parking can be very tight since there is only a handful of spaces.
We went here for dinner and ordered Mango Lassi, Alu Parantha for the kid and Chicken Biryani. Alu Parantha was decent and so was the Mango Lassi. However, the biryani was a let down. It was more of a bland pulao. We had asked for medium spicy, but we felt that there were no spices except for the necessary spices such as salt, etc. Have had better biryani. Update: Went here again. Nothing much has changed. This time we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala & Dal Makhni. Paneer was fried definitely not Tikka. Dal Makhni was great hence, the +1.
Food overall was good however the fish pakora had no taste whatsoever! We couldn’t even take a bite please fix the taste🙏 Also we asked for panner burjee and the lady was being snotty and said do u see it on the menu! She was either not having a good day or it’s just her nature god knows ….. Tea was awesome! Gulab jamun was yummy!! Food overall is good just please work on service if u want to succeed more in life……..
I usually don’t write reviews or complain about minor issues, but our experience at this restaurant truly disappointed us. We visited after a nearby pumpkin patch event and decided to have dinner here. From the moment we entered, we didn’t feel welcomed — it seemed like the staff doubted whether we would even pay for our meal. We tried to overlook that and placed our order anyway. We ordered paneer naan and a milkshake. The paneer dish was supposed to come with well-cooked basmati rice, but what we received was thick, overcooked rice with cumin seeds — definitely not basmati or may be overcooked basmati rice which had lost its texture and taste. Paneer was good (5/5). We also weren’t served any water initially. When we asked, the lady mentioned she only had regular tap water, which she served. Since we were dining with our 2-year-old son, who isn’t used to tap water, we politely asked if they had filtered water. She said she could provide cold filtered water, so we requested one glass. After waiting 5–7 minutes (and note — there were only two tables occupied including ours), we asked again, and the male staff member said they didn’t have any filtered water at all. A few minutes later, the lady came out with filtered water in a colored glass, but when she went back, the man seemed to instruct her not to serve it. What made it worse was noticing that another couple (who happened to be white) was comfortably drinking filtered water at their table. That felt discriminatory and left us quite uncomfortable. Despite all this, we quietly finished our meal, left an 18% tip, and said thank you before leaving. We had hoped for a welcoming and fair dining experience — unfortunately, this visit didn’t feel that way
I use to eat here a lot before 2026 and it was great but since the new year it’s apparent they’ve significantly cut down their portion size but kept their prices the same. I had the lunch special and it was practically two pieces of chicken and 3 spoon full of sauce. A spoon full of salad with some rice and some veggies. which I wasn’t impressed and still hungry afterwards. I also bought for take away a regular chicken tikka masala with garlic nan when I got home to realize there regular menu items had also down sized significantly the garlic naan was only two of them vice there regular 3-4. Highly recommend looking elsewhere to spend your money
I placed an online order for food that said it would be ready in 30 mins, I got stuck in traffic and arrived an hour later and iour order still wasn’t ready. The woman at the counter didn’t apologize and blamed the online system. When I got home the food was less than mediocre and the shrimps were rubbery. This will definitely be the last time we order from this restaurant.
I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food quality was far below expectations, and most of the dishes lacked flavor and freshness. The only thing that was decent was the garlic naan, but everything else—from the tandoori chicken to the biryani and tikka masala—just wasn’t good. Definitely not a place I would return to or recommend.
I paid $25 for a chicken seeing kebab. Idk what I got but it was 6 pieces of 1.5 inch ground chicken and a lot of onions and some bell pepper that was all coated in this masala tinged ketchup, that had the weirdest most unpleasant after taste I have ever experienced - and I’m Indian and eat A LOT of Indian food, and this was hands down the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten, and it was hella expensive for it to be so horrible. First of all, chicken seekh kebab shouldn’t have sauce on it at all??? Second the texture was bizarre, crunchy like a cracker on the exterior and like a meat paste inside. Absolutely horrendous. I still can’t believe I paid $25 for that. That’s insane.
Worst chicken Byriani I have ever eaten in my life. Chicken felt like it was from many days old, felt really discomfort after eating it. Try to check for the freshness of the food before serving it to the people. I wish I could give a 0* rating, I never wrote any negative reviews to a restaurant but it’s the first, Never coming back to this place again.
