Thai Time North Park

My son recommended this restaurant. We were looking for a restaurant close to Balboa Park for lunch. They had “happy hour” deal all day. We ordered appetizers & drinks. The cocktails were delicious and not “watered” down. The menu had a variety of dishes and reasonably priced. The food were delicious. The staff was very nice. The outside of the restaurant is not exotic. The inside was very nice. Highly recommend.

My favorite spot for Thai in San Diego! Everything is soooo good. I’ve had drunken noodles, pad Thai, tom kha, crab ragon and a lot of other things and everything was incredible. I am obsessed with this spot! Their spicy margs are SO GOOD

Loved our dinner at Thai Time in North Park! Delicious food and cocktails, with great service to match. We really liked our Thai Mojito and Bangkok mule cocktails. The ahi poke tuna, crispy pork belly, garlic lamb, and Thai stewed beef noodle soup were executed well. We sat on the dog friendly patio. Recommend!

Great for take out, they have brought food for several university events I’ve hosted, some on campus (UCSD) and some at my house. They’ve provided great food, delivery and setup for anywhere from 15 to 75 people. Such nice people too.

The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweetness and spice, the Larb was rich and aromatic and the signature chef Poke is one of a kind. What really sets Thai Time apart are the little extras. We were treated to a complimentary Cucumber Gimlet drink. In short, Thai Time offers the perfect combination of delectable food, outstanding service, and a charming ambiance. It's a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Thai dining experience. First time at Thai time! We had 4 people and ordered quite a bit of food. We ordered: -garlic wings $13, good flavors! -papaya salad $13, super spicy, added shrimp +$3 -pad kee mao $15, added beef +$1 -yellow curry chicken $15 -pad cha sizzling $22 -mango sticky rice $12 Overall, food was good. Service was quick and friendly. Street parking only. Solid Thai spot for your eats!

I highly recommend this Thai restaurant, If you happen to be in North Park area. The food is so delicious, we ordered the Papaya Salad and Panang Salmon with white rice. The ingredients are so fresh. The portion of the food is very generous. The price is very reasonable. Love the ambience. Customer service is 10/10. Thank you so much for your service and hope to be back soon 😊

Cozy little spot in Northpark with excellent Thai food. It’s a little small but very cozy, it doesn’t feel crowded. We were greeted with smiles great service. This was highly recommended by my friend from San Diego. He definitely did not oversell it. Lots of great traditional choices. I had the Thai Beef Noodle Soup. It came hot the broth was very tasty and it was full of meat that tasted very. My wife had the cashew chicken stir fry with Jasmine rice. She thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t really want a full dinner but once you smell the dishes, the kitchen is right there, couldn’t resist to get the dishes.

Thai Time is absolutely delicious, and I want to shout out their takeout specifically! I ordered Khao Soi Gai and it came in three separate containers for the cold ingredients, curry, and crispy noodles. Not often can you order takeout and have it taste equally good at home, but Thai Time knows what they are doing!!

The curry came out quite fast!! It was so yummy, I had to save all the sauce to put on my rice at home. Maybe would have liked a slightly bigger portion size for the meat. Staff was friendly. ☺️

The food is just ok. There are better choices like Veganic Thai in Hillcrest: Food is fresher, tastier, and better prepared. They just don't serve meat so fyi. Anyway, I ordered yellow curry with tofu. It was basically tofu curry "gravy" with literally no vegetables at all except a couple of potato chunks that were undercooked. Unacceptable. So much for second chances. I won't be back.

Food was generally good. Rude manager though. We were four adults and an infant, chose a table which could seat 6, was not reserved and was better for us because it was somewhat away from the other tables. I asked the waiter then the manager twice but she flat out refused. The table remained empty until we paid our check! The low rating reflects the manager’s attitude and rude behavior.
