I had an early flight so I came first thing at 7am and was immediately greeted by welcoming staff. Service was quick and food was delicious! I got the Churro Waffle and a side of hash browns, both coming out in less than 15 minutes. I made it out and in time for my flight thanks to their quick service!

Heard this is the spot to be. And must tried. Definitely highly recommended. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, sausage and egg breakfast with mini waffles, fried chicken and churros waffles. Very delicious. Staff is good and friendly. Highly recommended

We enjoyed the food and the customer service that we returned twice in one week. Our first visit was excellent and the waffles and breakfast plates come out a few minutes after we ordered. We returned for second time around lunch and realized they close early during winter season so we ordered and received the same quality of food and service. There is ample parting and seating wait is fast during the weekdays. Highly recommended and will return again with my family.

Cute little old fashion diner. They have breakfast and some lunch items. I ordered the special of the day which was a blueberry waffle with two eggs and one bacon and sausage for $12.99 I believe it was. I really enjoyed the blueberry waffle, it actually has blueberries within it and not just on top. Our waitress was really nice as well and super knowledgeable of the menu items. The other plates shown are machaca meat and chorizo with eggs served with side of rice and beans. Both dishes also come with choice of corn or flour tortillas. Very quaint, enjoyable experience. They are open from 7am to 1pm everyday.

We found this place because it was in walking distance from our hotel. The inside of the restaurant is so unique. There are a lot of different decorations in there, enough to keep your eyes wandering the whole time. The food and service was solid. You have to try a waffle, obviously. They are thick and fluffy. I also got a burrito which was just ok. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you love cool restaurants and waffles!

Overall good experience. I had the banana nut waffle platter with eggs, 2 bacon, and 2 sausage. I had no complaintswith my meal. I had 2 of my kids with me. They both said that the food was good but not great. The ambiance was of the placce was a diner on one side and traditional eatery restaurant on the other. Wait staff were good and easy/pleasant to communicate with. While this restaurant was a good experience that I would recommend to others it would not be near the top of my recommendation list (food wise). I would suggest it if they were staying at a hotel nearby or if they were driving by.

This place definitely gave you alot of food. The waffles were delicious and just right. I would definitely come back to this place to eat. The biscuits and gravy was on point as well.

We visited the waffle spot during our vacation trip to San Diego, the food was good specially the waffle and they really deserved to be the best in SD. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Overall we would definitely recommend it!!!

This was my first American diner experience since being in America and it definitely met my expectations. The diner was impeccably decorated and the theme was carried out through the entire diner making for a very fun and unique experience. My partner and I had the blueberry waffles and the eggs waffle Benedict. The blueberry waffles were tasty but the eggs waffle Benedict lacked and I wouldn’t recommend this. Our waiter was extremely attentive and swapped the waffles for English muffins immediately which made this a much better experience!

The food was great, great tasting really good but the waitress that we had she was just absolutely rude. Didn’t really acknowledge us when we would ask a question. It was like she was annoyed that we were even talking to her.

This cute Waffle Dinner was within walking distance of our hotel so we chose to have breakfast here. The service was excellent and food came out very quickly, however I wouldn’t order the Egg Waffle Benedict again, it was not to my liking at all. The Blueberry Mini Waffles were ok, but again not my favourite. The coffee was great and again, the service was very good. The potato hash browns were also excellent.

I ordered the chicken waffle sandwich with fries. The flavor was off. I suspect the deep fryer hasn't been drained and cleaned in a very long time. I ate half my sandwich and a few fries. The server was nice.

Located inside the Kings Inn, this is a sweet diner with friendly service and ambiance. However, we were excited to try “the best waffles in town” but were left wanting more :( We went in and sat at the diner counter but unfortunately the seats at the counter was not plus size friendly. Even my bf who I would consider a thinner build felt uncomfortable in the seats. Luckily they share seating with the Mexican restaurant next door and were were seated there instead and felt much more comfortable. Now onto the food, the waffles are okay and everything else was okay as well. The coffee was okay, the service good but not great. They didn’t check up on us often or even refilled our coffee mug (which is a number one thing I look for when I go to breakfast spots) . We left the place wanting more and a pricy bill. Paying over $50 for two people is a bit too much.

I came in for breakfast today. I have never experienced such poor service at a restaurant. We were a party of 6. It seems the expected 20% gratuity for parties our size led the server Isabelle to believe she did not need to provide any service at all. It would need to be intentional it was so bad. Thankfully, Christine refilled our coffees for us. I do appreciate management for listening to our concerns and removing the automatic gratuity charge. We will return for the awesome Churro Waffle and hope the service provided by 1 individual today does not truly reflect the others.

I visited The Waffle Spot inside the Kings Inn Hotel on June 1st and was really disappointed to find a live beetle in my chicken Caesar salad. When I reported it, the staff admitted that the night shift had not washed the salad. They did comp my entire meal (including my son’s) and offered something else, which I appreciated. I asked for a to-go coffee and a fruit cup instead, but even some of the fruit didn’t look very fresh (especially the strawberries). Given the circumstances, I just didn’t feel comfortable eating anything else. The staff stayed polite and professional, but serving unwashed produce is a serious food safety issue, and I hope they address it quickly.
