Had a good yogurt bowl for breakfast and we did eat inside. Super good fresh fruits in it. Great coffee non fat latte too. Many options to choose. Funny to see a long row of cars for the drivetru pass by. Only thing missing was a toilet...

This place is great with many great options! Day 1 I had their coconut coffee and it was really good. Day 2 I wanted to try an energy drink and the lavender energy drink did not disappoint!! It tasted really good and not too strong! The line does get very busy for drive thru, but it does move fairly fast. One of the best spots to try!

As a relative new comer to Pt Loma and the La Playa area of San Diego, I’ve religiously surveyed the different coffee spots around me. Better Buzz is now my go to place for that morning fix! drive in lines are ALWAYS long, but their app and ordering ahead works well. Add a berry-banana muffin to the Java and you will be happily buzzed all day. Love it, recommend it to all fellow coffee lovers.

Incredible good coffee and healthy, fresh food options. I am from MN and this was a pleasant and delicious surprise! We ordered the 3 Seed Avocado Toast, Bacon Ciabatta, Mocha Latte and Blended Caramel Iced Latte, every morning during our stay. SO good. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

It is a small setting but plenty of room to sit outside. This one has a drive thru and they keep it moving. Although I tried the chocolate covered expresso beans I did not like. I am a huge dark chocolate fan but I guess I couldn’t take the expresso taste. Join their rewards program!!!! U can earn a free coffee

Super popular neighborhood coffee spot with a very robust drive-through. Inside is beautiful decorated. Food is good. And it even catches the first rays of morning sun that just light up the whole place.

It was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint! Pulled up to the window and was greeted very nicely. Told her it was my first time and she recommended a couple things which I got! I ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and then got the blueberry energy drink refreshment. Both of these items were great! Also got the bacon sandwich which was 10/10 according to my husband.

No parking! Only drive through! It's a drive through experience! I generally don't like coffee in a paper cup it dilutes the taste of the real cappuccino. Entry is very awkward to the drive-through. Coffee on the other hand is really flavorful. I'm pretty sure it would taste fantastic in the ceramic cup.

I passed this small beautiful cafe couple times from my hotel during my stay, I decided to give it a shot on my last day in San Diego. It is a well designed, well organized local chained cafe (SD area). I was there around lunch hour, and full of staff in their counter. I ordered Americano, and Matcha Buzzed. They tasted good. No complaints at all.

Every time I visit San Diego I stop at this Better Buzz for my matcha with coconut milk. The staff is so sweet and the drinks are delicious. Sofia took care of me today at the drive through and I loved her bubbly, kind, energetic personality!

Luke and Bert were amazing!! I’ve been to many better buzz locations including the headquarters and I’ve never had customer service the way Luke and Bert provided! Truly amazing service I will forever come back to this location even though it’s a farther drive

Great little coffee shop with friendly staff. It’s got an old beach house vibe. The drive thru is fast even though they’re really busy in the mornings. Loved the pumpkin best drink!

I’ve been here twice on two different holidays to SD and am always pleased by the friendly staff, delicious pastries and fantastic coffee you can get either walk up (there’s no official parking, FYI) or their very efficient drive through service. Certainly worth a visit if you’re near Shelter Island.

Had Best Drink Ever and it was quite good. Tasted like good coffee with cream and sugar. Also purchased a bag of coffee beans for home. Service was excellent.

Stopped by a few times drive through and dined in and was satisfied. Small space with drive thru, indoor and outdoor seating, a nice choice if you’re looking for good coffee and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The drinks are consistently well-crafted, with plenty of options ranging from classic espresso drinks to fun specialty coffees. The staff is friendly and keeps things moving smoothly, even during busy times both drive thru and inside the store. The space itself is clean, bright, and modern, making it a nice spot to sit and catch up with friends or get a little work done.

My first trip to the coffee shop and all I can say Starbucks has more threats in the coffee market. I tried their iced coffee and the turkey brie breakfast sandwich. The iced coffee was strong even with the ice in the cup...which I like. The sandwich is balanced with flavors. It does have arugula, so you don't like the bitter taste you might want to ask them to skip it. For me, it's a nice touch. The staff were super friendly even at 5 in the morning. I love the aesthetics of the dining room. It's very "poetic"in the early morning and at night. Will definitely go back again when I am in town again. One thing I would like to see they work though... Less plastic. :)

This place came highly recommended, so I knew I had to try it. I got the snickerdoodle latte and after the first sip I knew it was the right choice. The coffee quality is so good and they have a lot of different options for different coffee drinkers.

Honestly I couldn't be happier with a local coffee shop that turned out to be a san diego startup from a coffee cart to so many places. This is by far the best location of better buzz.Whether it be at 4 a m or at 805 p m.You're gonna get a great espresso drink. Cold brew to frappe they got you covered. I need more zipper hoodie with designs on back 2xl lol

Soooo good! The feta avocado toast was absolutely delicious. Their new Dweet Heat Maple Croissant was a hit with my husband and all the coffee options are great. I prefer less sweet, so I typically cut that in half, but they get it and it never disappoints. Wish Better Buzz would come to Venice Beach

Stopped in at Better Buzz while waiting to meet up with a friend. This location in Pt Loma has a busy drive thru service and parking is limited to the streets around the area so it can be a little difficult. The inside is brightly lit and cute. I asked for a suggestion from the barista of something strong yet also sweet and was recommended a Moroccan Spice drink. It’s basically a shaken espresso with spices and heavy cream on top. I ordered it iced and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be stopping back for more next time I’m in the area!

We had a lovely breakfast at this coffee shop! The food was delicious — we especially enjoyed the Acai Bowl and the Better Breakfast sandwiches. The service was great, and the coffee with caramel was incredibly tasty. The atmosphere inside was cozy and clean, with plenty of seating and a nice view to enjoy while eating. The prices were very reasonable — for two people, we paid $52 for an Acai Bowl, two sandwiches, and drinks. Overall, a great spot for breakfast or a coffee break. Highly recommended!

We were in town for an event and our hotel happened to be across from here so we thought we would try it out. We were so pleased, as the whole experience was exceptional. Customer service was always friendly, both at the till and when we picked up our order at the window. We got the yogurt bowl, which filled us up all day!, the chai tea latte (best my husband has ever had), feta avocado toast (chefs kiss), chocolate muffin, and lavender hot chocolate. Amazing experience and we really hope they can make it up to LA sometime, you would have lifetime customers ;) Next time we’re in San Diego, will definitely be back.

Stayed 7 days in San Diego and walked here each morning to have their amazing lattes, drip coffee, cold brew, matcha and tried their croissant flavors and loved their zucchini walnut vegan muffin. Rich creamy spicy pumpkin lattes and dark roast is rich and full bodied coffee flavor. Great service. Smooth coffee. Also hung out inside for an hour talking as a family. Great local vibe and place to get coffee!

We arrived close to closing and Brody was still providing the BEST genuine service. Talked to us about his location, gave great recommendations. Was honestly so kind and smiled the entire interaction! He laughed and made us feel right at home! Even though I am sure he was ready to be done for the day - he never rushed us, or made us feel hurried! If I lived closer this would be my go to spot! Keep smiling Brody & doing a great job!

I've been coming here for so long and never wrote a review, but after today's visit I just had to! I came through the drive through and they were so fast and friendly, and the young man who took my order was very sweet, I think he said his name was Bryan. Bryan brought me a menu when I said I was thinking about trying something new and he eventually helped me decide on the caramel vanilla latte- very yummy! I'll definitely be coming back to get buzzed! lol!

As much as i love the coffee, i love the food more! I come here after my classes and get a turkey pesto sandwich and the og acaia bowl. They are delicious. The employees are always so helpful as well.

If you’re a student and want a good drink and a nice ambience to sit down and do work, this is the place. I walked in here and was immediately greeted by the barista working the register. I remember her name was Ashley. She was of great service to me and made me feel very welcomed. Im not much of a coffee drinker, so she gave me multiple great options, and i ended up choosing the conscious chocolate! Which is a chocolate protein shake (so good you have to try it). For what you are getting it’s worth every penny. I then sat down at their high top tables, where i was able to plug in my computer and get some work done! She had also recommended to me earlier about their food items (which they make fresh every day), so an hour later i went back up and got one of their ham and cheese croissants and added an egg to it (which she recommended and it was definitely the move) and it tasted amazing. All in all, I would highly recommend coming here to either get a drink, some food, or get some work done! I will definitely be back here again soon!

Fun place to hangout and catch up for coffee. They have some good bites to grab while you work or just chill. Good music playing in the background. Not so crowded during the evenings. The coffees are a bit expensive than other local coffee shops.

A solid choice whenever in the San Diego area for some coffee. This Point Loma location is less than a block from the hotel I'm staying at, the Monsaraz. It's also open very early at 5am! And it's very convenient since there's also a drive- thru.

Fast and efficient service and good options for a fast break. The music was SUPER loud, so the atmosphere isn't inviting and welcoming. That's the reason why I gave them 4 stars. It is perfect to grab an go but not so good to dine in. It is a famous coffee chain in SD area, I was impressed with the drive thru line. I had a greek yogurt bowl, it was good and very well served. My husband ordered an acai bowl which was good. We also had mocha, which was a little sweet for out taste. They have a good variety on menu: sandwiches, bowls, pastries and obviously coffee drinks. I recommend the place if you are looking for something fast and good to grab and go.

First time trying out Better Buzz! Parked a block or two away. The line for the drive thru was absolutely nuts. It definitely causes a ton of traffic issues. For the morning, it was quite busy. Ended up just ordering a cold brew. It wasn't bad, but I would probably get less ice. Didn't stick out to me. Seating is a bit scarce both inside and outside. All in all, standard coffee shop. Not a fan of the layout of their place for ordering and drive thru. Inside, it just becomes a cluster of people ordering and waiting for their drinks.

I went here for the first time. Unfortunately, the açaí bowl was overly sweet and the fresh berries clearly had been soaking in some Kind of syrup so they were all soft and mushy. I only ate about 1/3 of it and feel A bit sick unfortunately. Service was friendly but later when I mentioned they were out of napkins they didn’t address and someone else had to tell them that a few minutes later. It was the lunchtime rush so we’re probably just swamped

Parking: dont bother parking by the street and have 30 mins to spare for the drive through. The menu is good, but it feeks understaffed. It be faster to park and get ur order than the drive through

Well, Better Buzz is known for its exceptional product and customer service. However, this particular location fell short in amenities- the internet. The internet connectivity speed was significantly slower than expected for a coffee shop, creating an unproductive environment. This hindered my productivity, forcing me to deviate from my intended tasks. Additionally, parking is limited and parking area is very compact.

I've given this location THREE (3) chances just to prove myself wrong... I really wish I was. This particular team seems to only provide friendly customer service to everyone who looks like them. I've always come during the LEAST busy time and ordered non-complex drinks. Even being the ONLY person in line, 4 people, usually the females, will look at me, roll their eyes, and continue a casual conversation with another team member without ever greeting me. There is always the guy with the (blonde) colored hair who is sitting at the long high table in front of the register who FINALLY gets up to walk behind the counter to take my order but seemingly "bothered" that he has to. However, they all will greet everyone else (who looks like them) promptly and politely; I've witnessed it each time. This last time I ordered a simple iced green tea with agave. After 15 minutes, and no one else on the shop, my name is called. No explanation was given as to why it took so long. This has been my experience each visit I've had. The music at this location is always so terribly loud too. I've been to other Better Buzzes (my new favorite being in Mira Mesa) where the staff is superb and friendly to EVERYONE who walks through their doors. Having worked in both food and hospitality and other service industries, it pains me to see how terrible people have become at providing at least good customer service, especially in a city like San Diego. If you don't subscribe to welcoming and being respectful and kind to ALL the patrons of the business as part of your job, please do us a favor and find another job.

We're fans of Better Buzz and have always enjoyed their coffee, especially my husband's favorite, which has been our go-to drink for a while. However, we've noticed a distinct change in the taste recently. It seems like there's something missing, and it now resembles watered-down coffee with less milk. We've tried various locations, but only the Point Loma branch seems to have this altered taste. I think they might be saving on milk and adding more water, affecting the overall flavor. While I usually don't leave reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience as Better Buzz's customer service hasn't responded to my email regarding my order and quality concerns. We discovered something unusual at the bottom of the coffee, and it looks quite unappetizing. It looks like bed Milk or creamer. Unfortunately, we found out after drank 80% of coffee. By the way, this is the first time we saw this, and we're certain it's not normal. I hope they give more priority to customer service, especially when customers face issues, or at the very least, communicate effectively.

My visit to the Better Buzz Coffee in Terminal 1 of the San Diego Airport yielded a genuinely disappointing experience across several key areas. While the location offers appreciated convenience, the execution of the product and service policies was subpar, leading me to a two-star rating. Firstly, I was highly frustrated by the refusal to serve my order in a personal reusable cup. This policy, applied to both a standard coffee and an espresso, is a significant step backward in environmental consciousness and convenience, especially at a major travel hub. In an era where sustainability is critical, accommodating reusable drinkware should be a standard practice. Furthermore, the quality of the coffee itself was underwhelming. The medium roast I ordered was noticeably weak and lacked the robust flavor profile expected from a specialty coffee vendor. This low quality was consistent with my observation of the equipment; the espresso setup appeared to be a low-effort, push-button automated system, similar to those used by larger, less artisan-focused chains. For the price point and the brand reputation, I expect better quality extraction, stronger flavor, and a commitment to sustainable service options. I hope the management addresses these issues to align the Terminal 1 location with higher service and quality standards.

First time trying this place. Better buzz. This is the turkey sandwich they served me. I think they might have mistakenly served me something else. I would highly recommend avoiding this coffee shop.

Good food, terrible staff. I forgot to ask for my drink iced and it came in hot so when I asked for them to remake it they openly talked crap in front of me as they remade my drink. It was not busy, it was slow. I was the only one in the drive thru and when they remade my drink it was wrong.
