My granddaughter took me to breakfast there this morning. We had the spinach veggie omelette and it was delicious! The server was exceptional, always there letting us know the status of our food, and checking in to see if we needed anything else. Friendly people, great service and delicious food. I highly recommend the San Dimas IHOP.

Delicious food. Gluten free options. Very COVID safe still compared to other places which are starting to slack like Denny's. Masks required, disposable condiments etc. Menus were a little dirty so that's the only thing I saw that concerned me. Good thing to bring hand sanitizer always for things like that. But overall I enjoyed my visit here.

this was "The Best" IHOP Restaurant we have ever been too. We had breakfast on Mother's Day and the food was delicious. Our waitress was really cool, always making sure we had enough coffee. Will go there again!

Our waiter Alexandro came to our table to check on us often. He earned his tip. I wish ALL waiters/waitresses were as courteous and friendly as he was. The Host was also friendly and courteous as well. We will definitely come back as long as we keep having Alejandro or anybody that as courteous and friendly as he was.

This was one of the best experiences I've had dining out. The staff was on the ball from the moment we walked in. Miguel was our server, he was great. Excellent team work!! Restaurant was very clean. Food was delicious.

Our server Andres was very attentive has great customer service skills. Andres is on his A game by suggesting meal options that go well with each other. He supplied us with all necessary item to enjoy our meal and would repeatedly check on you to see if you need anything else thank you Andres we will return again and to the cooks for that evening the meal was awesome and great with flavor on 2/21/21.

Loved our server "dawn", she was very helpful, cheerful, and patient with us. Food was great, and atmosphere was relaxing. And we only paid 23.62 for two. Personally, I think they over fed us. Lol ;)

I wasnt impressed with IHOP after the last IHOP i went to years ago. I decided to try it again and was pleasantly surprised. Food was pretty good and service was quick. Creamers were leaking and sticky, table was wet when i sat down. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

I ordered the new orange cream pancake breakfast online and picked it up at the San Dimas location, the manager who gave me my order was very professional and kind. He went over my order to make sure everything was right and it was. The food was really good and the pancakes were picture perfect!!

Had a wonderful breakfast here today with my three companions. We were able to enjoy the outdoor patio and our server Lia did an outstanding job taking care of our group! We very much appreciated her attentive, friendly service! We will be back! Keep up the great customer service!

The first time at this IHOP, good was delicious. the service was amazing, friendly, on top of it, and checked in to make sure everything was good. I asked for my hashbrowns to be well done/ extra crispy. They didn't arrive that way, and it server immediately took them back to make sure they were as I asked.

The service was prompt and the food was delicious! I enjoyed the pancake combo with blueberry pancakes and husband had a custom omelet. I like that they leave the coffee carafe on the table.

It was our first time at the IHOP in San Dimas. The service was amazing! We were seated right away and the waitress was so nice and friendly. She took our drink order and brought it immediately. The restaurant was so clean and cool. Our food came quickly and was delicious.

Today I decided to visit IHOP restaurant with wifey. We were hungry and bored in high school. Football game is going on right now. We thought we'd do something different about getting breakfast for dinner. I ordered the all you can eat $5 pancakes. It is a good deal and the pancakes are fluffy and warm. Lots of butter and syrup make it good. I also had all you can drink coffee with free creamers. The restaurants was quiet and service was quick and friendly. This is a quiet place to enjoy yourself. With few distractions. Plenty of parking.

It is an IHOP so, in general, you know what you are getting... good food. I had the crepe meal which I really enjoyed. I have not had crepes on a while so it was nice to get good ones. My wife had a pancake meal which she enjoyed as well. Plus, the coffee was really good. The staff was awesome. They were friendly and very attentive. I wish I knew my waiters name to compliment him. He checked on us every five minutes at least. The one thing that caught me off guard (if you will allow me to get my Karen on), is that the variety if syrups they carry were no longer on the table. We had to ask for strawberry which came out immediately. No big deal. It just caught me off guard. The dinning area was clean as were the restrooms.

Best IHOP in Azusa. Love the Belgian chocolate hotcakes. My hubby and I love the hot cocoa and the breakfast! Staff is ok. Needs work on cleaning and customer service.

We had an earthquake and everyone rolled with it! The staff kept working. My pancakes came out wrong, so the waitress quickly corrected it. Mariana was very friendly and had a smile all the time.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER Waffles, of course. AMBIANCE 3 stars It's an IHOP, and a busy one. Not the cleanest, but not super dirty either. The staff does a real good job turning tables over and keeping people moving. FOOD AND DRINKS 4 Stars I've always loved IHOP's waffles, and these are right on target for their waffles. I've never had any issues with food not coming out well at this location. NICE SURPRISES This one has the butter pecan syrup! Most California locations replace this with boisonberry. OVERALL A good IHOP location.

Now indoor eating is allowed--with restrictions. Say good bye (?) to the covid-19 era.

Can't go wrong with some "standard" mega chain pancakes and eggs. Lol this location has been known to have it's "ups" and "downs" but this last visit was a very pleasurable and positive one. With that in mind and the attentiveness of everyone there I will definitely return.

The food is good for an IHOP. The management has been lackluster. For example our waitress did not take out order for drinks until 20 minutes into us sitting down. I recommend the swedish crepes.

Food was good but pricey. Kids create your face pancake came created which made the kid sad. Service was good and food was prepared correctly. $1.99 for less than half an avocado seems to be overkill.

It is a good restaurant but not my favorite.

Alright I have had better the Turkey and red mash potatoes were good but the stuffing was mushy and not cooked they were nice and gave us 10% off our bill. Service was a little slow for very few people there

Honestly, the food was not great! It was ok. Save your money and go to McDonalds for same quality. I could not believe how expensive they have become. They are not that good. Almost $4 for a drink. I was disappointed.

Prices keep going up and portions getting smaller. Especially the pancakes which are the option side dish with many meals. Golly, the name IHOP, does stand for "International House of Pancakes before the 'pandemic' they would have a,selection of 4 types of syrup for your pancakes,and you could ask for my favorite....Boysenberry. All gone now. I can hear their accounts pinching pennies in the back room.

They never have my food orders ready to go when I get there. I don’t actually order myself, I’m a courier for Door Dash, so time is of the essence when I’m picking up. No matter if I’m early or late, I’m Always asked to wait. Need to improve on that guys. I’m taking about the San Dina’s location on arrow hwy.!Last time I mixed up my pick up locations, the gal didn’t even notice and if it wasn’t for the fact that I spoke up to confirm the name on the order, i would have been sent off with someone else’s food! That’s something she should have caught.

The food was good, but the service was left to be desired. I had a salad with my meal and the server (Carla) kept getting the dressing wrong. She asked what I wanted, which was Honey Mustard, but did not give me eye contact or pay attention. When verifying 30 seconds later, she told me Ranch. I corrected her, and she delivered Balsamic. She noted "Ranch" on my receipt. I seemed to be infringing on her time, 😕 so I don't know when or if I will go back to IHOP.

Food was great. The service was horrible as there were only 2 servers in the whole restaurant, not their fault at all. The place is ran down, food stains on the wall looks like they have never been cleaned. Place definitely needs an uplift.

If you've been to IHOP or Denny's before, you'll be familiar with how it works here. Of course IHOP is known for their pancakes. We tried the Oat N' Nut pancake. To me it felt a bit doughy like it wasn't fully prepared on the inside as the surface was fine. The steak omelette was good and paired with the side of pancakes, it filled two people. The holiday special Grinch themed minty hot chocolate was not bad, but I wouldn't recommend eating the red hearts on top as they tasted like those valentine's day hearts minus the loving messages. Would not recommend the lemonade. Tasted more like lemon flavored water and once the ice began to melt, the lemon flavor was gone. Basically paid $3 for a glass of water... Ultimately, I would not recommend going to IHOP in general. Find a smaller place and you'll end up with better food at a similar price or less. We came here because it was just about the only place open on Christmas day. Best part of out visit was out waiter, Miguel. He recommended we order the omelette with the pancakes on the side and helped us save some money while getting the same dishes! Big thanks, Miguel.

I cant remember if her name is spelled Lia or Lya, but she was the only server working during breakfast. It’s breakfast… at IHOP. she should’ve had help. after my friend and i heard an older woman yell at her for not walking over fast enough, we asked if she had help or if she had just gone over to help another server. she said that she was running it alone at the moment. my friend and i were there for a little over an hour and a half and we never saw another server. it’s not her fault at all. she did the best she could and remained extremely polite and patient despite being told such rude things about the wait times or lack of help. it’s not the employees’ fault. she was amazing. i would definitely go back just to have her as my server, but i can’t believe IHOP would only have one server during breakfast.

$15/hour minimum wage has priced IHOP out of my routine fast food options. IHOP is normally very clean and the food good. However, my son and I went there and we spent $25 for two regular breakfasts. That is just WAY TOO MUCH. Additionally, the wait staff were acting strange and being rude.

I came with a group of 5 at 9:00 am. The service was very slow. Luckily we weren’t in a rush. When we asked for specific things we had to remind the server and sometimes chase him down. Occasionally even that didn’t help. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake waffle. It looked nothing like the picture. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture to show how pitiful it was. It had very few strawberry pieces. I had trouble finding the cheesecake part. I expected IHOP to be better with their breakfast foods. I can’t recommend the food I ate.

The stench of sewage could be smelled from our table towards the back near the bathrooms. The host/cashier area was incredibly busy, understaffed, and unprofessional. 1-2 people up front to write names for waiting, seat people, cashier, and running to the back for takeout orders…host area was unattended for approximately 5 minutes while getting takeout orders. The food is highly yoverpriced and was not prepared as ordered. I had to flag down the waitress a couple times to get drink refills. Not the experience I was expecting on Mother’s Day!

I'm sorry but I have to say this.... I've been going here for years with my kids etc. This morning the lobby smelled like sulfur. That is a sewage gas that is not good for you to breath in. I've came here multiple times and it always has that smell. I walked out today because they aren't fixing the issue. Get rid of the sulfer gas!!!

Came with a large 10 person party for breakfast which is very hard I would imagine. Server didn't bring condiments we asked for , there was poorly washed water glasses and a hair in the onion rings we ordered to which the server replied "I'm sorry about that". Didn't even offer to replace or take off check. Will not be back to this location. I think they need more servers during weekends so they can better serve the customers.

The food was lack luster. Quite honestly breakfast at McDonald's would have tasted better. The hash browns were like warm and rubbery. The eggs were tasteless and the pancakes tasted like bread not pancakes. Very disappointing. The servers were doing a fantastic job considering how under staffed they were. They were truly the heroes of the meal

The service was very slow, we were sitting there for a while before someone came to our table, ask us if we wanted anything to drink and mind you, there were only 2 other tables that had customers. It just didn't feel comfortable, we decided that we will not be returning... 😞

Mixed smell. There was an odd odor. Was not easy to enjoy our visit with a smelly dining room. The front door was wide open as well as the back doors. They were airing out the place. The restroom had a stronger odor. To the point you want to hold your breath and quickly get out.

Went to IHOP in San Dimas. They had one server to handle the entire floor. There were about 10 guests scattered around . The wait was long , my burger was burned and this was my salad... I asked for fresher lettuce she said this was it. 😑 I feel so sorry for these servers! It is NOT their fault that the restaurant management can't seem to get they're priorities in check! The whole meal was a flop.

San Dimas IHOP took 15min just to ask what we wanted to drink ,another 10 just to bring us the coffe ,we finally ordered and they brought all the condiments when my food was cold I asked for creamers they took me 2 at a time had to keep asking for things that should of been there n the first place , Me personally like having everything there so I don’t have to be asking and waiting ,finally even to pay had to wait for them to bring my change like 10 min , the funny part is that it wasn’t packed (busy)for them to take so long

I was not thrilled at all. I ordered build your plate. I ordered 2 eggs 2 sausages 2 pancakes . My eggs were over cooked they forgot my sausages. Save your money go to Norms. That's my usual spot. I learned my lesson no more ihop.

Why do they let the food sit so long before bringing it to my table! Food was cold! wrong items! waiter did not come back to ask if everything was ok! Only reason I ate the food was because the person that I brought with me didn't care that the food was cold! Talked to the manager and he didn't seem to give a ####. Horrible, just checking in was a mess everyone is waiting Right at the front no one is moving. The two workers in front well i should say the one worker and the other just standing there all lost. There was no system in place to receive us and get a seat or logg us in , it's a free for all and on top of that no AC I left and went somewhere else Cocos is where I went and it was delicious and professional

Smelled like stinky farts. As if every single employee and customer just pulled their pants down, and all took a fat massive dump, and cooked hard boiled eggs for the entire day. Seriously, how tf was anyone sitting in there, enjoying their food or anything? Go to the one in Covina. It's much livelier and has a coy atmosphere. Place was also depressing and a dystopian.

Apparently people with more guests get seated faster... a guest of 2 have to wait for small tables to become available and hope they don't cross your name and forget about you. They have one emp registering people in waitlist and one male calling out people. They should have the same person registering call out to keep an eye out so no one gets skipped and maintain control of the wait list. We left after finding out we got skipped 5 times...

One waitress for whole restaurant. Manager NOT helping . Buser was helping one waitress. Got up to go to other table to get salt pepper etc. Bacon very uncooked. No refills. Ppl waiting very long time for service and checks. I really needed butter fir my pancakes bc they give u extremely tiny amt It came in very long time . Was horrible. When I went to complain he said a waitress was on break so back to manager not dressed for her role NEVER helped while other waitress on break. MISERABLE

Dinner service is poor. Food came for everyone but me. Waitress said mine will be here in 3 minutes a few minutes later she came and said they ran out of what I order. Everyone was done eating when I got something to eat. My pancake was dry. My daughter in law said her food was cold. Also a gentleman order food to go and food was cold. He waited another 20 minutes for his food.

Worst experience at ihop ever! Do not go to San Dimas IHOP at night. Never heard “sh*t” and “f*ck” from waitresses all sitting around talking with friends like they are all hanging out at home. Nice conversation to hear with my 2 year old!

Today is my birthday. I have received a stack of pancakes every year for the past four years today I was refused and it's my birthday. I cannot understand why they would do this. I guess I will have to go to Denny's. All they require is for me to show my ID and get a free Grand Slam

Sewage smell was so strong... According to reviews this has been happening from many months. This location always leaves me feeling green so we rarely come back. Not sure I ever will again after this. Fortunately there are several good IHOPs around.

If allowed I'd put zero stars down as a rating. Service was horrible sat us down and didn't even bother to get us drinks. But 2 other separate groups were served their meals and drinks before we even had the chance to order a drink. Smh. And when we finally got our food it was cold and the utensils were dirty too. We came to IHOP at 10:40pm on a Saturday and it was closed. Before we left our house we checked the hours and hours state they close at 3 AM! Very unhappy we made the drive just for it to be closed

The minute you open the door it smells like rotten eggs in the entire restaurant. We walked in and walked right out! Very disgusting!! That was the first time at this Ihop. I wouldn't recommend this place to enjoy a meal without throwing up.

Third time isn't the charm... First time we ordered to go. About 5 different people, all order different things. No one ordered steak tips and eggs. Got back to the hotel, all 5 orders were steak tips and eggs... Second time, ordered delivery. Surprise surprise, received the wrong orders... Figured we would try dining in at 8pm on a Saturday. We're greeted by the only waitress at the front after waiting a few minutes, only to be told that it would be another 20 minutes to get seated and served as she was the only waitress, and it was currently her break time. Needless to say, there is another location 7 minutes from here with great service. Don't go to this location...

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at an IHOP. First the service was slow, then my food was brought out cold. I didn't have enough time to ask for hot food, but when I was halfway through my meal a whole bunch of bugs started crawling all over the table. So I got up and left. The waitress was nice, a little off her game though.

The worst breakfast. Smell really nasty. Everything dirty! No vacuum. Bathroom disgusting. All the boots needs to be clean.

Visited today 2/18/23. It was so cold, I asked the waitress if there was a warmer spot and she informed me that the heater had been broken for a while. I felt so bad for her because she seemed cold herself. I had taken my mom there and had to leave for another restaurant. Please IHOP for your staff and guests please fix the heating asap. I’m sure I’m not the only customer you’re losing over this.

You know you have a sewer smell problem and you still won't fix it. It's your drain sewer one way flap in your drains . Call a plumber and get them fixed. It is part of owning a restaurant people. Sewer gases are very harmful you should be shut down for this you have known about it for months.

This place was so so bad, they lost the list for sitting, we finally sat down and the wait at the table was so looong. By the time we got our food it was 90 minutes. We should had left as soon as we walked in as the place had a bad stench. Yes, it was mothers day but when we got in the tables were all empty but 4. Very unorganized.

The juveniles working here need to be trained on courtesy, products, manners, and customer service. The server didn’t even know what sweet n low was! In a room full of veterans, she couldn’t even tell me if there was a Veterans Day discount! Horrible place, won’t be back.

I would not recommend this IHOP, the smell is horrible and the atmosphere is the worst. They keep the doors open so the smell doesn’t accumulate but it still smells gross and it makes the whole restaurant cold. I will not bother coming back. The service was the only good thing.

When I read the reviews about this sewer smell, I assumed it was a little bit exaggerated, but no, it wasn't.It was horribly smell, I couldn't eat there at all. Once I sat down, the smell became stronger. That was it, I had to walk out. Even my toddler Granddaughter stated that I didn't want to eat there because it had a funny, ugly smell.. Honestly, I don't know how people could go and sit there and eat with this smell. I feel sorry for the co-workers. Shame on the owner who doesn't care about his workers to deal with this smell.

After we were seated, the waitress gave us our menus and we’re looking through the menus and we asked her where is the senior menu? She said we no longer have a senior menu. We give 10% off to seniors well OK we ate our food, the place was pretty empty and waitress only came around once. When we were done, she brought us our bill. My husband took it up to the cash register and we left. I asked him for the bill. I looked at it and I couldn’t believe how expensive it was $40 And no senior discount! I went back in and waited for the cashier to come and talk to me. I told her exactly what happened when we asked the waitress about the senior menu and wanted to know after we asked her about the senior menu Why didn’t she give us the discount? She didn’t know why, but she took it off of the bill credited back to our credit card and I told her we will not be coming back! Not only did they take the senior menu away, but hiked their prices up ! Needless to say we will be cooking at home a lot more often! Never going back! 😤😠😡😡😡

Smells rancid and disgusting. Im never one to leave a restaurant but that place smelled horrific. You can tell theyre wiping everything down with mildew covered bleach rags with no windows open or anything. Manager couldnt care less.

The food and service is ok. But there was a strong sewer gas, methane type smell at our table. I think there is a sewer line break nearby that is leaking into the building. Need to get a plumber out with the gas detection equipment ASAP.

Food was good. Service was good. However, the place smelled like SEWER. I don’t know if it’s a plumbing issue or all the upholstery needs to be replaced. We will not be returning until the smell is gone. Also, all of the blinds were drawn, so it was dark inside. And looked closed from the outside!

You walk in and the place smells like a public urinal. The Lobby reeks! The food took FOREVER to be brought out to us. The Host doubled as our waiter and was waiting on all the tables. I ordered the steak tip & egg breakfast. The hash browns and steak were burned and the mushrooms were still half raw. If I wasn't booked for the day and on a time crunch I would have got up and left. Im an IHOP rewards member because I frequent them in my travels. The one in Covina and the one in Monrovia offer me excellent customer service, fresh food, no nasty smells, and nothing burned or raw. Looks like I'll have to pass up IHOP when Im in San Dimas moving forward Btw we were also blasted by fans the whole time and it was already cold. My wife and I were shivering. Terrible experience Update: after 2.5 hours my wife and I are feeling ill from the food we ate. Don't come here, never again

I never usually write reviews, but I couldn’t pass on this one as my experience was a complete disappointment. My boyfriend and I walked into this IHOP, and the lobby smelled like sewage. It was unbearable, and honestly, it seemed like no one cared at all. To make matters worse, the server sat us at a booth right next to the lobby, which made the smell even worse, and I could barely sit through it. As if that wasn’t enough, the server began cleaning the table behind us, and the cleaner they used reeked of mildew. We couldn’t take it anymore and ended up walking out. I was utterly disappointed and honestly embarrassed for anyone who was eating there at the time. I’ll never step foot in this IHOP again, and I strongly suggest anyone thinking of visiting steer clear.

1 hour wait for mother's day. Understaffed. No drinks refilled. Ordered $14 bacon temptation and got ripped off. This was more like a $5 omelette. Didn't bother asking for this to be fixed. Waitress was incognito. See picture. Eggs were cold. Hashbrown cold. More interested in rushing you out that making mother's day breakfast special. They had 10 uberr eats orders competing with your order. For portions are half of what they usually are. Manager gave refund of my omelette when he saw the pic.
