The cashier had the best customer service ever!!! I had never been to any place with the service as kind and fast as the Yoshinoya at San Fernando. I would definitely come again and 100 percent recommend!!! 🤪🤪🤪
This is my second time here and both times it was a pleasant experience. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant from dinning area to restrooms is clean. The food was real good. I would highly recommend stopping by.
So I've had Yoshinoya for years, but this was the first time I've gone through the drive thru and I wanted to see how the experience was. There was no line and the person taking the orders was very clear. They took my order quick and my food came out faster than I thought. I would definitely order thru the drive thru again! Great location. Great employees.

Great food, Great Service No matter what time of day u go. They just added an XL Plate option (Double Protein) and avocado to the menu. The best fast food meal u can get.

I Love 💘 me some Japanese food and whenever I'm craving some I always come here. I usually get the White Rice 🍚, Habanero Chicken 🍗 & Potato's 🥔. And if I'm craving some wings get there 6 piece that they offer. There isn't much of a wait or line so you'll be in & out in no time.
This is probably one of the best Yoshinoya around. Management needs to hire a lot more ppl! We went on Sunday Afternoon/evening and they only had 1 person for each station. One for front one for drive thru and one for cook. The African American male cook was holding it down but there’s so much he can do. The food did take a bit long to get but it’s because they are limited on staff. Other than that the food is good. Management please hire more people!
Food was delicious!! Been to a few Yoshinoya restaurant in LA, Orange county, and Sanbernardino county, this one surpasses all of them. Clean, big dining area, frequented by a lot of people and families. Very good service!!! Parking is a little hectic, so be cautious.
I go here way too much, I think the cashier thinks I like her... but sadly, she underestimates the power of affordable and delicious Japanese takeout. I mean, she's cute, but I'm legit hungry and don't want anything else from you
Food is really really good here but it took forever to get our order. The person I was with was usually very patient and got so upset he stood at the counter and waited till the food was ready.
This is the closest Yoshinoya to any resident if Santa Clarita. I really appreciate that they always get my to go order right.
Had never been to a Yoshinoya before. The food was, honestly, better than I was expecting for a chain. More importantly, the staff were awesome. The employee that took our orders laughed along as he helped us figure out the menu, gave us suggestions, and so on. My grandma was so amused that she said she thinks she'll come back again.
The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. They know who is in the restaurant and keep the orders straight. They suggest condiments which best compliment your order. Always an enjoyable experience.
Drive thru takes a while so be prepared for the wait. Make sure you speak clearly and loudly. sometimes they can't hear you. Other than that, the food is decent for a fast food place. Much healthier option than the burger places. The spring rolls are yummy as well.
Angela was wonderful and helped us out after there was a mistake on our reciept. Love her attitude she was very sweet ♡
I ordered thru Uber Eats the other day and although i wasn’t really able to experience the atmosphere nor the service. The food was great and extravagant. It truly was a masterpiece of a food. The only reason why I didn’t truly rate it a complete 5/5 is because they forgot the drink that I ordered. But I can’t pinpoint whose fault is that considering that it could’ve been the restaurant or drivers fault.
Pretty good food, decent prices, and the employees are usually friendly. But it can take a while for your food to come when it's busy because they're usually short-staffed & also, always make sure to double check your food before you leave because they get your order wrong pretty frequently Edit: They just remodeled the place and it looks amazing! Additionally, the service has gotten better and they haven't gotten my order wrong in a while. They've also expanded the menu a lot with the new variety of sides & desserts they now offer
Inside dining was dirtier than it should be. Staff needs to do more frequent cleaning and sweeping. Food was pretty good, however.
The worst service ever at this yoshinoya. We had to wait 42 mins to get our food and so did other people. There must of been 10-12 people waiting also. Not good. Pls rectify this to me. This is just wrong 😕. Lmk how you will make this up to me. Thank you Mgr
Food is always delicious and as fresh as can be The employees are always nice. Only downside is that they take a little long to get orders out. Other than that, everything is great
Drive thru was very fast but unfortunately they got my order wrong. I went back to the place and this cashier name Samantha jump on it right away. She did apologize on behalf of Yoshinoya. She actually made sure my order was correct before leaving the store. The food itself was Excellent!!. Good job Yoshinoya, props to Samantha.. 👍
I've been eating Beef Bowl since the 80's and never gave it a second thought till I moved to Texas for a few years. This to me is So Cal comfort food now. This location is great although has a slow drive through.
The place is clean and popular. The options are great and portions are plentiful. It does take a while to get your order, bit I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's because it was made fresh.
The food here varies in quality from day to day but my last visit was great. My boyfriend loves this Yoshinoya and we visit often. Service can be pretty slow, but the staff is respectful.
Overall good Japanese fast food chain. The food was prepared relatively well although it was difficult to order as we had not been here before. If we had brought coupons, the experience would have been cheaper. We shared two bowls among 3 adults and a child so you can be pretty smart about it.
There's plenty of parking space here. They also have a drive thru. The place is very clean inside. They have a code for the restroom and the inside is clean but no mirror. . The edemame was delicious and they have a special with it. You can get a soda and another side, if you don't want a bowl combo or plate. I enjoy thr chicken here more than the beef. The beef is shredded and thin but still holds a juicy flavor. I also would recommend the fish more than the beef but sometimes it can be dry. Their rice could be better because I got a very soggy rice. It's so/so compare to other places like waba grill or panda express. The veggies is what I would expect from a wholesale frozen veggies pack. Veggies are veggies . They serve brown or white rice. Their bobas are soso I got mine without the Boba balls last time I was there. They have handicap spaces to park.
I ordered for delivery thru third party. I got myself a kids meal with teriyaki chicken and half white rice and half their new udon noodles. The noodles were ok not good not nasty. Just bland no flavor really. Chicken was good with a good amount of sauce. And crisp veggies and plain white rice. Also on the side I ordered a 5 piece gyoza. Those were really good I would order them again. They had a toasty side that was crisp and yummy! I ordered a side of orange sauce to dip them in that was also very good! My husband had the combo plate with the original beef and chicken teriyaki he thought his plate was good also. I haven't been to yoshinoya in a while since I had a bad experience at another location but I decided to give it another try but different location.
Great food service is slow so expect a wait. was highly disappointed yesterday that I got curbside , was there on time and clicked im here (twice) after 15min of waiting I had to get off with my 3 kids struggling because they were asleep, carried the carseat inside and my food was just there waiting
I love Yoshinoya but this location had soggy noodles! Nobody wants soggy noodles! Went on a Sunday 3/6/22 at 8pm if that helps to let the cooks know.
I missed the tilapia. The gentleman that helped us can use some customer service classes. He ask me what I wanted to order. Did help us after but I am pretty sure he can use a training video.
It's not difficult to maintain a restaurant service consistent with the brand. Service is lacking. The only people working here are the hardworking ladies in the kithcen!! Keep it up. Love the food.

Sometimes what makes a difference in a dish is the way a customer is treated. I understand work load, not staff fault, not mine either, and this is where management should step in and address the problem.
This was our first time eating at this place and we ordered was enough for both my wife and myself. We had asked for an extra set of spoons, forks etc. Yes the cashier at the window refused our request, and we got just one fork. We had to use our own. That's why this place got a 3 stars, we are senior citizens who eat out on occasion and we had been told about this place.
Yoshinoya... oh how I've missed your stringy chewy gyūdon, weirdly soft and squishy chicken, and nuclear neon veggies. This was one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite in SoCal growing up. However, times have changed and so has the food (especially the quantity). They used to pack these long deep rectangular styrofoam bowls with so much food that the foam used to crack when you lifted them wrong. Now, the quantity is so skimpy that I was finished before I could even savor the sodium overload. But, the flavors... oh yes the flavors... they are still weird as ever. I definitely have a love hate relationship with this place like a persistent EX who comes around just to mess with my head.
They get your order wrong most of the time or forget items you order. They have a sign saying they accept EBT but they say system is down. It has been over 6 weeks and they still keep saying they same thing.
Drive-thru is getting worse. It took close to 45 mins to receive my food with 2 cars ahead of me. I think they are short staffed because the worker seems stressed and was apologetic.
Lack of professionalism Mariah M was so unbelievably rude. She obviously doesn't understand how customer service works. If she did she wouldn't cuss at the people in front of us at the drive through.
Screwed me on a combo plate with beef only order. No veggies. A lot of rice barely a portion of beef. Couldn't really do anything about it cuz don't have a yoshinoya near my house since it burned down.
It just takes so LONG to get your food!!! I wish they’d hire more people! We ordered ahead at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm pickup. Our order wasn’t ready until SEVEN THIRTY!! So I was waiting for 35 minutes. Seriously started to consider the Jack in the Box across the street.
Ever since the remodel the service is super slow. Either the workers are new and just learning the ropes or needs new management. I waiting at the front counter to order for 15 minutes and nobody acknowledged me and never got my order taken. Ended up going to jack in the box across the street. The drive thru is no different. If you don't want to wait 30 minutes in a car or indoors, just go somewhere else.
We went to this Yoshinoya late at night recently and we waited for 25 minutes before we someone even took our order. Zenaida was there by herself and then when we finally got our order it was like a small, we got a small instead of a large bowl and then she didn't put that many condiments like I asked her to. We waited for our order for at least another 30 minutes and by then our food was cold. It's ridiculous how long we have to wait and then go home to cold food.
The place is good if they aren't busy. If they are then you'll be waiting 10-20 minutes. The food is not done well. The staff is not friendly. In my opinion, this staff does not do well in fast-paced environment, need better training or get someone in there to take charge as you can clearly see the difference.
I opened my Regular Combo Bowl at home, and 90% of my Grilled Teriyaki Chicken is Gone! It looks like if someone grabbed it with their hands. Not good, I’m very disappointed. Oh well, I’m hungry and will eat it. Don’t recommend this location.
Horrible, got my order wrong 4 times (walked in 1 costumer ) and then the person making the food coped an attitude sayin is it perfect now... rude very rude ...asked for manager and nothing. ..
Waited in drive thru 25 minutes did not even budge. Employees were just talking with no care in the world. Drove to North Hollywood was helped within 5 minutes
Everytime i come and get food after most of the time i have to wait at least 15 mins in line because they don’t have any of the orders made on time a week ago i wait at least 30 mins or more this ridiculous this happens almost every time you need to hire more people or shut down completely
When it comes to regular bowls everything is on point, precise. However when getting a large bowl, portions are LIMITED. I felt as if they ran out of rice and spread it on bottom so it would cover more of the container. Proteins seemed rationed. My advice Regular bowls/ yes ... Large bowls/No
A scam. Got a XL combo and they gave so little meat. When I asked for additional rice, they asked me to pay. Bad business. Avoid completely if you want to feel hungry afterwards.
I’ve been in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. This is beyond ridiculous. They could at least offer some type of discount for making us wait.
Bad service... the staff are not accomodating... I ordered original beef and honey walnut shrimp. The beef is only 3 strips and the there is no glaze on their honey walnut shrimp. When I asked them to put the glaze on my shrimp they want to charge extra pay. Bad experience everytime I come here.

Zenida can be rude. As much as I hate being that person to say it, it is consistent with this individual. I get Yoshinoya maybe once a month as a treat to myself since my kids wont eat here. Each time my order is repeated wrong and she insists on me ordering what she says. The cops in front of me in the drive thru had to comment on her ignoring the drive thru for in diner customers. Once, I was driving home late, and it was the only place on the way I knew took EBT. Because the doors were locked I attempted paying in the drive thru as other locations provide for families with no other options that late. She laughed at me and shamed me for barely getting to eat for the first time after a really hectic day and said "try eating earlier". It may not be illegal, but surely is unethical.
Really slow service and the drive thru is horrible. How can you forget to put ice in a cup? Who drinks warm soda? Lol kinda disappointed with the overall experience in this establishment.
Very disappointed with this new service after wages went up finding hair/eyelash in my food was disgusting we had to throw away everything and this is the 2nd time where they got my order wrong again do better
It's bad enough they changed their containers, but now they limit the amount of chicken and beef in their large bowls. They also give a lot of rice but no sauce. I won't go there again
This place says 24 hour drive thru i dont get it how that works . I went for a late night snack and the cook was outside smoking and the cashier was nowhere to be found waited at speaker for 20mins and no sound went to window and no one was there waited ten mins nothing so i decided to go to jack in the box and when i was paying at jack. the idiot cashier shows up i was already late to work i was very pissed off .
Zendya however your spell it is completely the worst shift manager ever I first came in gave her a 20$ with a tear directly down the middle then proceeded to not take after I gave her another 20$ proceeds to only scan my 20$ not anyone else inside my group after that gives me my order WRONG after me repeating my order back to me I told specifically no vegetables not once but twice after I tell her my order was wrong she says no it’s right how are you going to tell a customer there order is right when you gave my wrong order on purpose I could go on about my terrible visit to yoshi I will never come back here again Poor management and terrible customer relations worst service I’ve ever received in my life as black man I’ll never spend money with this establishment again
Worst service, plus atmosphere was so bad conditions had 4 people in line without being greeted or attend it to.food took almost 25min had 3 other people waiting for pick up. Just terrible . Drive thru was also behind.
My experience was bad!! Zenaida P got my order wrong multiple times once at the mic box and the other 3x at the window and she gave me attitude. I mean I dont know if its because she is stressed and overwhelmed or what, but she needs more training and an attitude adjustment. I feel bad for her really. Over all the service was horrible since I was in the drive through over 30 minutes. I hope all the staff gets better training. For now this location has lost a valuable customer.
I like Yoshinoya but this particular location has never been good. For example I ordered a combo XL with beef but the beef was over cooked like it had been sitting in the juice way too long and cooked down. But even worse they basically give you the amount of beef that’s in a large when you’re paying for a XL. The employees seem like they just don’t care either. Don’t waste your money here and go to another yoshinoya location.
Ordered delivery for my family and when I got the order no condiments were added. No sriracha , peppers, ginger, etc… really disappointed .. all these extras make the food 10x better.
Just picked up 3 bowls of beef and white rice. Usually I enjoy this meal. Not today. It's beef with some onions and rice. No "Yoshinoya " flavor on the beef. I was really hungry, really looking to enjoy my meals with my family. Worse experience with "Yoshinoya" ever. Next time not a beef bowl.☹☹ hate wasting my money. A former customer. Never more.
If I could give it a no star I would, FOOD IS HORRIBLE TASTING, YUK !!! It taste like a old frozen dinner and the Ginger they gave me in the little packages is just as BAD & SUPER SALTY ! Please don't waste your money because there not even reasonably priced considering the food is GARBAGE ! Maybe they reuse their leftovers and just keep reheating them to where it makes thing hard and very UNFLAVORFUL 😕🤢🤮
Bad service. First they ask me to pull to the front when there's no one behind me at the drive thru. Then they give me the bag out front. I didn't check like we should. I get home and there's no condiments that I clearly asked for. I call the store, Carmen offers a free soda to make it better?? Get it together people.
Been eating Yoshi since I was a kid but never recall waiting 20 min for my 3 bowl order. Not cool. Back again weeks later, over 25 min wait through the Drive thru. What gives?
Worst one ever. Ordered online. When opened at home we got all wrong orders, I literally had a 5 this slices of teriyaki chicken and 5 pieces of shrimp. On top of that shrimp tasted weird and potatoes tasted like they have been refried and very old.
This place is filthy employees are completely rude just straight up ghetto. Food was cold and had just served it lol, egg rolls were mushy and the employees did not try to fix the situation in any kind of a way and they refused to give a refund. This place should be shut down.
ZENAIDA P served me. She was really rude. She has horrible service and started to roll her eyes at me because i took to long to pay even though i was counting my cash. Tables aren’t clean. Even tho food is good. Service is so horrible.
First the person in the front never even said that they were not going to be keeping the front open as I was trying to dine in, she could not answer any questions about any of the food just in general had no idea about the menu and she needs to be re-trained.. then the food was raw when it came and on top of that I did not get what I wanted and I cannot believe that you guys discontinued orange chicken I will no longer eat at this establishment, I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this to anyone I would really like my really like my money back
Yoshinoya was my place to go. We don’t have one where I live now, so I was craving it when I saw this location. The portions at this place are small. Got a large beef and the amount of beef wouldn’t be as much as a regular bowl elsewhere. Portions are not weighed as I recall, but eyeballed NOT in the clientele side. Too bad. Hopefully it is just this location. Also, don’t order the Thai iced tea boba, not tasty at all.
The food was good but my boyfriend found a hair in his bowl. He went up to try to get a new bowl as he had just had a few bites and he was given attitude and questioned about it. I think if anything of this nature happens again the manager should train his employees to be a more professional. It's not like we were trying to get free food like I said we had just received our food. He was also not given the same thing he ordered in the first place. I would recommend to work on customer service and attention to detail.
Horrible service was standing at the register to order for 15 minutes while they had there break. That all of them had to take at the same time. Also chicken wasn't cooked threw still saw pink. Idk what's going on here but if you need a day off work or school eat here you will get sick and annoyed with the wait while they do literally nothing. I love yoshinoya and have it 3 to 4 times a week and this one is the worst I have ever been to.
Employees here NEED better training, AND supervision. Update:12/23/23 they still cant get it right. I always have something missing. I paid $16 to not get my full meal.
I really hate this place. Placed an online order? Be prepared to wait 30 minutes after the app tells you it's ready to receive cold food. Why remodel of you're still going to have the same recurring issues?
This store is way understaffed, the employees wear all the hats and there's always a big line. Wish corporate would care more about a well ran store. Shameful I had to wait 30 minutes for a small chicken bowl.

I was debating on leaving a review but as I went through your reviews I realized we all have something in common. The little girl at the drive through is making your restaurant look BAD. i thought she was having a bad day but it looks like she has a nasty attitude. Trying to lecture me the difference between a bowl and plate 🤣. I was going to let her have it at the window but as soon I saw her I realized she was really going through it.
Exited that it was open again , after being closed for remodeling! But Miss Mia just takes orders with a very bad attitude, doesn’t even greet the customer and passes in front of them about 10x. I waited a good 15 minutes for my food and she called my name and her demeanor was so rude specially when I asked her for crushed pepper and ginger she tossed it in my bag! And walked away. 0 customer service skills, she needs to be retrained , she was only giving everyone around her orders. Is people like her that make a customer not want to come back.
Rude and irresponsible. I went here at 1:10am the open signs are on and the drive through menu is on and bright. The woman inside first ignored me then pointed at the glass sign and walked away. I assume that means it's closed I didn't bother straining my eyes to read it. The attitude is the main reason I am leaving the review beside her not turning off the signs before messing around with whatever she was messing with.
I ordered 2 XL size Beef only combo. After 25 minutes sitting in the drive through. My orders were wrong. I recieved 2 Chicken and beef XL combos. I had to park my car and wait another 10 minutes because of the line. I told the person at the cashier that my order was wrong. The person at the drive through that gave me the wrong order asked me if I just wanted extra beef on the side, I said no and asked to make me a new one. After I recieved my order. I got a Large bowl and not the XL I paid extra for. I will never come back here again. Attached is my receipt and the so called XL combos I recieved. This is robbery.
