Opinions de Bowl'd Acai San Francisco
Until I found, Bowl'd Acai, I thought there was really nowhere to get a high quality, healthy smoothie or bowl in the Bay, and especially in Downtown San Francisco. But I found the Bowl'd Acai truck and it's my new favorite spot. The owner is incredibly friendly and clearly remembers his customers (I can imagine every customer is a regular, because this place is the best!). I had the Master Sensai smoothie with spirulina and it was the perfect taste and texture. The location is also beautiful and there is lots of sunny seating available in the quiet nook of Mint Plaza off busy 5th St. Go now!
This food truck is conveniently located close to the Westfield mall on market Street. Taking a look at the menu I didn't expect for this food truck to have even more items than I thought. *note for peanut allergy, there are nuts included in the granola* When I had received my order I asked if there were any nuts in the bowl and the associate confirmed there were. He then offered to make another without granola to make things right which was excellent. The environment was pleasant and there are a good amount of seating all around. If you are in the downtown area and want a healthy snack definitely check this place out
Parked at 14 Mint Plaza, Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm, the gun metal Bowl'd Acai truck glistens like a pearl in this otherwise calm and unassuming courtyard. The truck is partially visible from 5th Street, which is how I spotted it walking one day. I like to start my day off with an Al Greens (Kale, Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Green Apple, Lemon, Ginger, Pink Himalayan Sea Salt). It's excellent and freshly prepared. It's clear they are concerned about the quality and freshness of their product. I've also had the Flu Shot (Fresh juiced Lemon and Ginger topped with Cayenne Pepper) which tastes as tart as it sounds. Amazing for those times you crave lemons, as I do. Finally i have had an Acai bowl, how could you not?!The Original Gangster (Blend: Acai, Strawberry, Banana, Coconut Water) is delicious. I've had Acai bowls from a couple other places, and this one tops them both. Even though I order with no honey at those other places, the base is far too sweet for me. I still eat it though, I'm a professional. It's just that I prefer it less sweet as you can always add a sweetener if necessary. I'm hoping they get a storefront soon so that I can have a place to get a treat at dinner time.
Delicious, fresh and healthy food! First time and tried the poke which was amazing and the fish was on point. New location on Sacramento and Montgomery for us FiDi folks! So pumped to have them nearby, will be back time and time again!
Bowl'd has got yo be the best açaí bowl I've ever had in my life!! Get the OG, you won't regret it! On my mama, on my hood this place is fire!! 😆☺️
While visiting we stopped by because of the reviews. It was excellent, we had both the Acai bowls and the Poke. These were the best Acai bowl we had on our entire trip to California. The owner on top of the food creates an awesome experience. 5 stars and worth trying for either the Poke or Acai bowl!!!
I never thought that acai bowl could be something that I crave, but after having one from the bowl acai truck it has became my go to meal when im out and about. The bowls are absolutely delicious, and my whole family, including kids, have enjoyed various options. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious and healthy meal!
Always great coming here at my local farmers market. Workers are always friendly and have great energy. The Açaí bowls are one of my favorites in the Bay Area and I look forward to them every time I visit! A little pricey but definitely work it!
The staff are really friendly, and quick to make the bowls, and they make them look amazing next time I’ll take a pic. I get the green bowl, and add almond butter , and s Nutella if I,m in the melody which is always . I mean come on who doesn’t want Nutella.
Taste and presentation of the acai bowls are A+. My friends and I ordered one of each and all were tasty and delicious. My favorite was the OG. I can tell that they use fresh and high quality ingredients in the bowls so I don't mind the higher price for them. The staff in the truck are super friendly and will help you decide on a choice if you ask! I did not try the poke, but definitely will next time. There is a lot of open seating in the plaza to relax and enjoy your bowls.
A really outstanding acai bowl! This was my first time here. I came while visiting SF on a recommendation from a local, and this did not disappoint. I've had quite a few bowls over the years and this is up there in quality. Plenty of toppings with a good ratio to yummy, flavor-packed base. Their menu looked to have several good options, but I wanted to try the OG, and I was very satisfied with that. Service was fast and friendly, and the place had a cool, minimalistic vibe and a few outdoor tables. Bonus points for the compostable and recyclable consciousness.
I love their acai bowls but I was craving something savory so I got their plant warrior protein bowl which comes with plant based chorizo, brown rice, spinach and green onion. I love how simple yet flavorful this bowl was, make sure to ask for sauce on the side if you want it spicy. I will say it is a bit pricey ($17) for the portion you get, but it's plant based and tastes amazing, so can't complain. The place itself is small, and up to 4-5 people can sit inside, so it seems more of a to-go spot. The staff here are also very kind and welcoming.
The Açai bowl was the best one I’ve ever had. Great location and friendly staff. It’s a bustling spot with lots of people passing by. A few seats inside and outside so you can sit and people watch at your leisure. I thought it was good value too with the bowl only costing $12. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return already!
They set up their truck at our Orindas farmers market every Saturday. I literally dream about the great white (poke). Its the best. Hands down. The brown rice and macadamia nuts push it above any other poke options out there. Thanks guys! See you next Saturday :)
One of my favorite breakfast in Cali. Perfect refreshment on hot days. Super delicious Bowls & Shakes. Fresh fruits, granola and Acai - perfect to go!
So good! Real attention to detail with the quality and ingredients used. Loved their different types of acai bowls as well as their drinks. Plus a great poke bowl (hint: get their early for it as they usually sell out since they make it fresh daily). Reza, the owner, works there himself and is incredibly friendly and service oriented. Came here while on vacation and wish we lived here. Highly recommend!
If you're looking for a fresh, nourishing, and flavorful meal, Bowl Acai is a must-visit. This spot goes way beyond your average smoothie bar — it's a full-on superfood haven. Their rice bowls are incredibly satisfying, with options like ahi tuna, chicken, and beef that are not only delicious but responsibly sourced. Each bowl is well-balanced, packed with fresh veggies, and customizable with superfood add-ons that take things to the next level. The acai bowls are just as impressive — thick, not too sweet, and loaded with vibrant toppings. Perfect as a meal or a refreshing treat. Don’t miss their smoothies, which are seriously some of the best around — rich, creamy, and made with real ingredients. Plus, their organic cold brew is strong and smooth, perfect for a midday pick-me-up. Bonus points for offering pasture-raised chicken and beef broth — a rare find and a warm, nourishing option, especially on cooler days. Whether you’re eating clean, refueling after a workout, or just craving something delicious and nutrient-packed, Bowl Acai delivers. Highly recommend!
Amazing acai bowl! Loved the Original Gangster, full of goodness and quality ingredients. Energized for the morning, will be back to try the rest of the menu!
Got the original gangster açai bowl , was so fresh and really tasty! Service was great even gave me a juice shot 👌

Love their poke bowl and smoothies. They’ll split smoothies into two cups for kids. Nicest people!
I DoorDashed this place and it was not a disappointment! For sure going to order from here again! I ordered the Green Goliath Acai Bowl and it was full to the rim. Super tasty! Also, thank you for the punch card! Looking forward to my next order.

A lone little food truck in Mint Plaza with tons of outside seating. This was my first time here, and I was a little underwhelmed with my bowl. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good but I personally prefer the acai bowls at Project Juice.
Nice and healthy option for the morning. Menu is simple and easy to choose. Perfect for the vegetarian lifestyle. Staff was friendly.
This is my new favorite Acai bowl spot ! I went there out of few recommendations. It's right off mint, a 1 minute walk from Powell Bart Ordered the original gangster with coconut water, regular size for around $10. The customer service was amazing! I dropped my bowl after taking 2 bites and the guy offered me a free bowl at no extra charge, which he did not need to do! Will definitely come back
the acai bowls taste as good as it looks in this eatery on polk. people watch as you drink some smoothies or feast on the acai bowls. overall great flavor and hits the spot when craving açaí bowls. original acai bowl: fresh ingredients and tasty acai base. no complaints!
The acai bowl was good, but $15 for a large that's not that large and without proper seating was way too expensive. I also tried their green smoothie and it was amazing! If you don't mind the price, I really really recommend their smoothies.
I tried the one with peanut butter. It was good but the peanut butter sort of overpowered everything else. I’d def come back here though when I’m looking for a power breakfast

Line toook very long, otherwise very good
The food is delicious and the space is pretty. I ordered the Great White and the Tuna was so yummy but came drenched in seed oil. My family ordered smoothies and the Original Gangster and enjoyed them. The bone broth was not great. It was a powder mix and gritty. The chairs are metal on a stone floor so it's loud. They were struggling to get orders out yelling names but people couldn't make out what they were saying, so they would just try screaming 🤣. A number system would work better for them! Overall the food was very yummy but I'd look for something that's free from seed oils and serves real bone broth.
This place is good but if you are an acai assassin in training like me this place won't blow your socks off. The presentation is instagramable but the price is steep for how much acai you're actually getting. The toppings are good but standard, nothing unique. Don't get me wrong, I like this place, especially its location but there's better spots in the bay for value and quality

The açaí was great—refreshing and flavorful. The sweetness level was just perfect. The toppings added to it were crunchy, tasty, and really elevated the whole experience. If the açaí were assembled in more defined layers, it would make it even better, allowing you to enjoy each component in every bite.

Beautiful looking bowls, but flavorless açaí. We were bummed. The toppings are amazing but the açaí just tastes like eating ice. Wouldn’t go back again, especially because it was $16.
The service was lovely - gracias! But I felt cheated. I paid $20 for this bowl of acai and a) it’s half acai the rest is cheap store bought stuff, and b) the acai is mostly banana and strawberry- very little acai. Quite disappointed tbh. Not healthy AT ALL, and for the cost of a meal? Forget it.

Food is always extremely late when ordering, ubereats or pickup does not matter. No phones to call in for. When you do get your food, it’s great. But good luck wanting lunch because you’ll get it by dinner.
Poke bowl is incredible salty to the point that you can’t even eat it. I mentioned this to the worker and asked if it’s possible to just get a side of plain rice so i can at least eat the fish without the rice covered in the salty sauce and he said no and that I would have to pay for it. Waste of $20.
I Just bought one large Acai without topping to really feel the taste of the acai, and I can say for you that it's far from the acai real taste, feel like banana and ice with the color of acai... Zero Taste of acai, the food truck is nice, people are nice, but I am sorry from Acai is zero! 16$ for a snow ball with acai color only... Unfortunately very disappointed Never go back! Was reading now the comments and everybody say the same, tasteless... worst "acai" taste that I ever tried

I have been to this place multiple times in Walnut Creek and have purchased items here before. Today it was raining, and I didn’t plan to buy anything. However, when I passed by near the end of the market where they were located, my puppy was clearly showing signs that he needed water. I politely asked for a very small amount of water for my puppy. The person in front refused and said they had no water, which was surprising since they were clearly using water to rinse and clean their items. Refusing a small amount of water for an animal in need is rude and unprofessional. This interaction showed me the true attitude of this business. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to others.
I had their poke bowl at the Alameda Antique Fair. I think in a rush to get orders out, they drenched the poke and spinach bowl with way too much sesame oil. Sesame oil is super fatty and it made me feel ill after. I would beware of the amount of sesame oil they are using for their poke bowls especially for folks that can’t eat high fat food due to stomach issues.
