Enrique gave me the best food and service i've had this year
Ordered the carne asada fries and it has all the right things. The perfect balance of everything: super fresh, fries crispy, and I can’t say for sure but there’s a special light sauce that officiates the marriage of ingredients. I didn’t expect to finish it but oh my goodness I couldn’t help it. So good. Thank you.
I've been coming here for over year and Luz was always the best, 100% recommended, best burritos in town!
Best kept secret for Taquerias on the NE side of town. I was excited when El Farolito opened a spot in north beach, but was instantly repelled by the lackluster food and service. Zorro was taken over by the old Bayshore Taqueria folks, and the food is exquisite. My absolute favorite is the Al Pastor.... freaking amazing.... nothing else like it anywhere. This place is an absolute gem, and the food is top notch! One of the best Taquerias in SF!
Chicken tacos were really good. Put verde sauce on the chips and tacos it’s very good
Great little taqueria place! Good food, affordable prices. I would eat here again. I loved that they had a veggie taco option on the menu.
Yes, it is next to a strip club, but the food is worth it. Better than El Farlitos nearby. I really like their care asada.
Taqueria Zorro is located in the North Beach area of SF. The taqueria is neighbors with the Condor strip club- Carol Doda. The taqueria has no Chicken Mole so I ordered a Pollo Asada burrito. The taqueria is the safest bet if you are hungry for Mexican food. The taqueria is clean, organized and stocked with happy customer service staff. I enjoyed my food and the decor.
Great place with cheap food. Their Zorro was quite delicious and enjoyed the touch of not using rice and beans but french fries instead. It was well complimented. In addition, their sauces were awesome. Habanero one was quite spicy and it hit right. Definitely a place to checkout if you are under a budget but still looking for banger food.
Please order the Zorro fries. I got them topped with the carnitas and they also had birria that day so I added that as well and it was so delicious. I feel like for the amount of meat they give you its a really good deal. The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavorful. They are literally the best in san francisco. They are always so patient and accommodating with all my substitutions as well. They always get the order right too which is not like some other taquerias I have been to. My other order i like is the grilled veggie burrito and I add tinga de pollo and extra Pico de gallo. So fire. Definitely my favorite burrito spot in the city.
Tried the crazy burrito here, with fries and flaming Cheetos in the filling. I probably should have gone with a more conventional choice, but it was worth trying at least once.
Best meal on this San Francisco trip! Loved the thematic interior and wall frescos. Order the Al Pastor super taco (with the lot), a Mexican coke and got complimentary tortilla chips and 3 small containers to hit the salsa bar! The salsa bar was fresh and beautifully presented and I tried the tomato, verde and habanero salsas. All delicious and the habanero was spicy but didn't blow my head off. My food was brought to my table which was a nice touch given this is a fast service restaurant. The portion size of the single super taco was enormous (forgive me, I'm Australian and portion sizes in USA still astonish me). The pork was tasty and tender and all the toppings went together perfectly. Staff were friendly. Sadly in Australia, we have garbage Mexican food... I wish Taqueria Zorro would consider opening a Sydney outpost so I can eat there all the time! Don't miss this place!
JESUS CHRIST. As a Mexican craving actual Mexican food in the bay area, I can certify this place is legit. I don't know if it was because I was slightly drunk, but everything I got tasted HEAVENLY. My non Mexican and not so drunk friends also enjoyed their food a lot, hahaha. I got the Tacos al pastor and tried the quesabirria. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, I 100% recommend this place if you're looking for the closest to the Mexican experience I've experienced in the bay area. Also, they were open after 11.
Came here in the early AM after a night out on the town. Conveniently located no frills Mexican joint with late night hours. Fantastic food, friendly/quick service, great prices and portions. A few little tables inside but most people order takeout. The tacos were great, and the Zorro burrito was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Before that more popular spot who won’t be named moved into north beach, real ones know this was the original taqueria. Been coming here for a few years and the thing I like the most is they keep their prices fair, and unlike other places they don’t go light on the protein. They got daily deals, I normally come for the lengua torta on Thursdays. I get mine with extra meat, but it’s still very fairly priced and comes with fries too. It’s a family run joint that’s been around for a minute. I also always see the same cook there which a good sign for consistency. Overall a solid spot. They got a good salsa section, and overall offers a classic SF taqueria experience that I would recommend, especially for the neighborhood choices.
Great vegetarian options. The veggie nachos were super filling and huge. Also had veggie burrito. Would be nice if it was more flavourful but still is a great place.
Late night hit this place wandering around the Columbus Street. What a way to end the day with my stomach filled to neck with the delicious Carnitas Burrito. Carnitas was so soft and chewy. The green salsa was the best among the other salsa. Wished the hot salsa to be a bit more hot.The Burritos had no cheese and avocado though.

Food was delicious! Authentic Mexican food, exactly what we were looking for. Definitely visiting on our next trip to San Francisco.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat at. Everything is very good. I've never been disappointed. I love their Flautas, Quesabirrias, Quesadillas and Tacos. Churros are really good too.
One of the best burritos that I ever tried in my life. Love it!
These guys were really, really nice. I accidentally took someone else’s quesadilla and they made him a new one and were really nice about it. Food was highly respectable. Don’t give them a hard time.
If you’re looking for a taco that won’t disappoint, this should be your first- and last stop of every night. I’ve had both, the burrito, and every other time the steak taco. The food is hot, fresh, and prepared with passion, whether it be a slow night (like now as I write this review), or when the line is double wrapped around the block. I’m on a mission to find the best tacos in SF, and Taqueria Zorro is still on my top 5.
I regularly order from taqueria Zorro and I have had nothing short but a wonderful experience. The food is always hot and delicious, there are also options for those who are vegan/vegetarian! Service is always impeccable, and catering orders are always on time. Highly recommend this place!
For catering, Taqueria Zorro was 10/10. So fast and responsive via email. Tariq worked quickly and diligently to make sure that all our dietary preferences were accommodated. The food arrived perfectly on time and the staff was kind and helped me set up. Then the food itself was delicious. Each dish came in generous portions and tasted great. Feeding 30 people was made easy with Taqueria Zorro
Great place. Their burritos are the size of 2 meals while only $13-ish. I just sit here and do work with their free WiFi daily. Great vegetarian options
First time here, and the experience was awesome. I'm mexican and I tried the best birria tacos. Definitely a 10 out 10.
I ordered catering from Taqueria Zorro, and it was fantastic! Everything arrived right on time, the portions were generous, and the food tasted amazing. You can tell they put care into every dish. This is my go-to taqueria, and I highly recommend them for both regular meals and catering — they never disappoint!

First time for me and my babe. We both had Carne Asada burrito 🌯 they are delicious. We definitely will be back. And their green mild salsa is 🔥 so good. And I also got Agua de Sandia refreshing. Definitely recommend this spot. Fair prices and nice people serving you.
If you're in North beach and craving some Mexican food, this is a good option. I usually get a regular asada burrito, but if you're feeling sit down their asada plate is pretty satisfying. Their habanero salsa can be hot or miss, some days it's got good spice, other days it's mostly tomato flavor.
Decent tacos. Ordered al pastor, cabeza, and carnitas on Taco Tuesday, so $2.99 per taco, loaded with meat. The al pastor was a tad bit overcooked, but the flavor was good. I’ll definitely try them again on Taco Tuesdays.
Tacos were good but not the best I ever tried. I got al pastor and carnitas.

I took the fish Taco. The fish was well cooked. Ingredients were mostly fresh. Waitress is not particularly talkative but doing all right. The inside was kinda loud and resonating, but still ok. There are sauces available and free to grab yourself. Almost everything is plastic so not the most beautiful decoration but we're here to eat :) Paid 8,17 after tax.

Went here at 1AM with some friends and got a pastor super burrito. Honestly it was pretty great, good value and seasoned meat and lots of flavor. However, woke up in the morning a few hours later and my stomach was absolutely destroyed. Not food poisioning but a very upset stomach for 30 minutes. Might have just been a one off case for me, I think my freinds were alright. But it is very, very greasy so keep that in mind if you go here.
Ordered takeout just now and got 1 green sauce for my 6 ordered tacos. The guacamole was watered down and slimey. The tacos were ok
Tacos not good, dont recommend. All you can eat definitely not worth it. Cheese smells bad.
Today I picked up food from Uber here, but I forgot to deliver the item and it took a lot of time.
We’re here now and they told us the restrooms are closed because they’re afraid of drunk people throwing up in them, but we’re paying by customers and still can’t use them.
Its really messed up when you order every day from the same restaurant trying to support a local business in the area and when you call your left on hold for 13 mins all while you hear the employees talking and laughing and than get hung up on later There are 3 different taco places I could go to in the area but I wanted to support your restaurant But I will make sure next time to take my business where it's appreciated
Ordered a MYO "VEGGIE" burrito. However there were ZERO veggies at all...instead, got a cold flour tortilla filled with pico de gallo and lettuce. Literally. That's it. Also specifically ordered guacamole, jalapeños, whole beans, limes, and Serrano peppers on the side. Got NONE of them with the order. Just two small containers of salsa. The entire order with the up charges, was over $18. Complete insanity. Needless to say, it was not eaten. The entire order was literally disregarded, as it all clearly noted on the order receipt. I do NOT recommend even attempting to order from here. Horrible experience and quality.

Terrible experience the lady at the register purposely over charged me for my burrito. She said because I was using Apple Pay they haven’t updated the prices. Than I watched other customers being charged regular price with Apple Pay. Maybe she was being unfair and racist towards me. Really bad experience
