Need a refreshing and healthy snack in downtown SF? Go to Deep Purpl and get an Acai bowl and load up on the fruit, granola and all that good stuff! 59 New Montgomery St, San Francisco, CA 94105
Ended up getting this two days in a row while visiting San Francisco! Everything tasted fresh and was well made. I especially loved the almond butter. Unlimited toppings, so I got the 12oz size and went crazy! They layer toppings within the acai so that it's not just acai at the bottom. Acai is smooth and not too sweet.
I think this is the yummiest açaí bowl I’ve ever had! Recently I have been going to Bowl’d Açaí on Montgomery, but they were closed so I came here! I wish they had a better location/signage for the sake of their business, as it was a little hard to find. But the shop was nice and clean, and the staff were very kind! I love that you can pick your own toppings, and the price is much better than other açaí bowl stores in the Financial District that I’ve tried. My two complaints are 1) that I wish the bowl was actually served in a bowl rather than a smoothie cup. I had to dump everything into a bowl when I got back to the office and 2) they did not add my kiwi and didn’t say anything. The açaí is thinner and much sweeter than any other kind I’ve tried, but I like sweet! (It also could be from the honey, peanut butter and coconut I added.) It was absolutely delicious and heaped full of toppings!
Really delicious! So glad to have another açaí place downtown, and very happy they are open on weekends (huge plus). I got the 12oz size with fruit, honey, and granola. The 12oz was a lot bigger than I expected (for an afternoon snack) and a great value. You can choose unlimited toppings too. Plus the staff is really friendly and will make your bowl to order (all ingredients freshly chopped too). Looking forward to returning soon!
The acai bowls at Deep Purpl are amazing - the acai is always super fresh and you can choose as many toppings as you want for the same price. Highly recommend!
Really liked their acai. It had a good, strong acai flavor. I added peanut butter, granola, cacao nibs, bananas, kiwi, blueberries, and gogi berries.

AMAZING acai. the fact they do unlimited toppings is awesome, and the acai tastes very pure and healthy
Thoroughly impressed by how tasty and flavorful it was - layered toppings were fresh and tasty! 12oz is perfect for two.

I stopped by Deep Purpl Açaí and ordered two bowls from their custom menu, which lets you build exactly what you want with a wide range of toppings. I appreciated how customizable the whole experience felt, including the option to choose your size starting at 12 oz. That flexibility makes it easy to control both portion and price depending on how hungry you are. The toppings were fresh and the portions were generous. My only real feedback is that the açaí base was a bit too icy for my taste. I prefer a thicker, creamier consistency, and this leaned more frozen than smooth. The location is very convenient, right near Montgomery BART, which makes it an easy stop if you work downtown or are commuting. I also capitalized on a DoorDash promotion where the second bowl was 50 percent off, which made the overall experience feel like good value.
I love this place. The smoothies, acai bowls are super healthy and delicious. Shoutout to Olivia, she is the best

Beware! These acai bowls are addicting! Fulton market location on Elizabeth never disappoints! I only get a bowl and empanada and haven't tried anything else. I've tried every empanada now and have no gripes about any of them.
Tasty!! 4.5 stars! I ordered delivery through uber eats and my only complaint is that they should completely cover up food container cup, since it is being delivered . They put tops on the "bowls" that have the whole cut out so any debris, lint or otherwise can get in your yummy bowl while being transported. Other than that, 3 thumbs up!!
I liked the flavour. Acai tasted slightly cinnamony, but I didn't think it was bad. The juice tasted good too. I would go there again, but I can understand if some people don't like it.
It was a just okay, regular sized smoothie for $12. Not bad, just overpriced for the value.

Ordered a buy 1 get 1 deal from uber eats — I must say my first few bites tasted really strange, unlike any other açaí I’ve had before. It’s hard to describe but I’m a big fan of açaí and this one was just odd in the first few bites but afterwards either I got used to it or who knows — because I couldn’t tell after I ate the first layer. I did appreciate the long spoon they gave as it made it easier to eat this out of the cup and the fruit was good although the goji berries were very dry. So take this insight as you will but I wouldn’t advise ordering this by delivery as my acai came melted and took awhile too. My total for both came out to $27.04… crazy
Pretty average acai bowl and an underwhelming dine in experience. It might be an one off incident with my server, but I would not prefer to return.

The toppings were fine, the long spoon was nice. But the açaí? There’s something in it that doesn’t taste right. It has sone fiber texture in it. Weird. Sadly, cause I love açaí and this must be one of the bottom of my list
The açai mix tastes very sweet and artificial, as if they added fake cinnamon flavor and a ton of sugar. Can barely taste the açai in it. They have "unlimited" toppings but add a very meagre amount of each - a 1" section of banana, 6 blueberries, a tiny teaspoon of kiwi. Not worth the elevated price tag. The lady serving seemed to be on the phone when I went in and didn't even bother to take out her headphones as she was getting my order. Won't return.

My acai was way too sweet. It's also served in a cup which limits the amount of toppings you can get

Placed an order for 2 bowls delivered. After the order taking almost an hour, we received what I would describe as a layered cup of soup. The base had a strong artificial taste. My biggest issue though… they didn’t even blend the protein powder! I’m not sure if this is a one-off, or if this is the standard. Not only was this unappetizing, the BOGO promo they advertise on ubereats is false, and misleading. I’ve ordered from many other açaí bowl spots in the city so there is an expectation of quality. Either way, 0/5.
This is a joke right? For $15 my 12 oz açaí cup (not even bowl) has one strawberry and less than a quarter of a banana. I’m never coming back here again.
How is this a smoothie? This is more like a juice. It’s all liquid… this was $9. Not worth it. I’m very disappointed. Don’t come here, there’s a Jamba juice across the street

Overpriced. I paid 16$ for mostly acai. The Acai also tastes chemical and too sweat. It should be a healthy snack, not the case here.
I went in for a smoothie it was ABJ Smoothie. The ingredients was almond butter almond milk strawberries blueberries and I believe that was it but the strange thing is the cashier went to the back to make the smoothie behind the wall I couldn't see anything that he was doing while preparing this smoothie then when he brings it out it tasted like ice no taste to it I explained this to him he told me that I was nothing but fruit. BUt it tasted just like a ice.... No flavor!! No fruit, no almond butter. So I asked him so I asked him could he put more almond butter he smacked his teeth and calling attitude after that I felt a little weird about him going to the back again and adding almond butter because I couldn't see him preparing my smoothie he came back out and it tastes worse than it did before I talked in the garbage can and walked out and he said something in his language I couldn't understand what he was saying but he was very rude and I don't like the fact that you can't see them prepare the smoothie in front of you and it did have an aftertaste it made me feel like he may have put something in my drink worst place ever would never go back and don't advise anyone to go there to get a smoothie my smoothie cost me $12 and some change Terrible !!!!!

I’m not sure what y’all put in these, but they’re god awful. I ordered one today and it’s very strange. There’s a weird, chemical aftertaste that does NOT taste like a regular açaí bowl. Dunno what the deal is, but if you’re craving an açaí bowl I would not spend your money on a bad one at this place. Go somewhere where it actually tastes like fruit. Woof. I can barely get through this thing it’s truly disgusting I’m so sorry
Be careful, don't get food poisoning. Poor health scores. Read their past health inspection reports. There is no regard for keeping insecticides and chemicals away and off foods. Charging a premium for an inferior product. Poor quality acai mixed in with a lot of ice and fake sugar. Ingredients used are inferior and don't even look sanitary. Whole place smells cheap like industrial cleaners. Service is fine nothing out of ordinary.
