i’d give it six stars if i could! the food is super good, and the guy working there is really nice every time we come in. my partner and I had our first date here, and we come back every once in a while because the food is really good and it’s special to us :). it’s a cozy hangout for an intimate lunch or dinner with loved ones :). they updated the interior recently and it looks really good! plenty of seating for any party size. the gluten free pizza is amazing!! it’s never burned like it is at many other places. will most certainly be coming back here again and again and again :).

Delicious pizza worth every penny! Best cheese sticks I've had in years and the owner had a mix up and gave us more. When he brought them we let him know we had already received our order and he laughed and said it was on the house. Highly recommend.

Best pizza ever! I have never had such great pizza in the past 6 years ever since going vegan. I had a gluten-free crust and the pizza was amazing perfect amount of vegan cheese nice and hot. Service was excellent. Vegetables were really fresh. We will have to come here every time we come to the city. My husband eats meat and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well he had a calzone and a slice of pizza. We were both very happy with our meal.

This pizzeria is owned by an amazingly nice man. His pizza is hand made to order. We got the XL Pepperoni pizza and it was awesome. The owner treated us like family and we greatly enjoyed his food and the family atmosphere. Our kids loved the food and the owner. Great people and great place.

First time to order from this Pizza place in our neighborhood. They delivered the wrong pizza, instead of 5 toppings as ordered, we got only 1 topping pizza. I called the Pizza place, the person I spoke to was apparently the store manager, he was very nice and accommodating to my call. Acknowledged their fault and immediately prepared the right pizza my son ordered and the manager delivered it himself with a slice of chocolate cake bonus! Errors does happen sometimes. And it did not make my rate to their product any less. I still give them a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Excellent pizza! Excellent promptness to address issues and good customer service given by the manager. Their kitchen will be my kitchen extension from now on.

A nonchalant pizza place where the cheese oozes from the pizza. It was so good. I had the T-Rex personal. Just enough food for 1-2 people. Pizza was fresh and made to order.

I was walking by in the neighborhood with my boyfriend and we wanted a slice and stopped in. Super nice service and decently priced for a huge slice of pizza. High quality and delicious! Definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood. Excited to try everything else they have to offer. I believe the owner/manager helped us out and he was very pleasant.

love this little pizzeria. it's not very big inside and the decor is kinda harsh, plastic, and super brightly lit, but their pizza is excellent. i order from them almost every week. anytime there has been an issue (it happens to anyone who serves food!), they correctly it promptly and on the house, with a smile.

Very good subs and the best I've had in meatball sub sandwiches. My wife and daughter like the steak sub sandwich. The pizzas are good too, but make sure to eat before they get cold. Reheating isn't the same as hot out of their oven.

My friend recommended we go there after the theater so we drove clear across town...OMG! it was the delicious. We had a thin crust medium with artichoke olives feta garlic and mushrooms . It was cooked to perfection the sauce was just the perfect amount. I ate 3 pieces usually 2 is my limit. She forwarned me that we're going there for the pizza not the atmosphere. It's pretty Stark, there's no beer wine options but if you want a really good slice this place is great!

The wings are PHENOMENAL ( best we have had in the city) The sub sandwiches are legit the best sub sandwiches I've ever had and I always get one with our order. The salads are even delicious , no limp veggies and the dressing is yummy too. Also the jalapeño poppers are so addictive! If you want great food and pizza you should definitely check Donario's out! When they do delivery, it's quick and they call to let you know they are outside, and they are so so nice! Please support their pizza shop. It's truly the best!

Love that you can half-half your pizzas to get the best of two worlds. I always order the Fresh Garlic Bread sticks with Cheese. It comes with marinara sauce, but without it it’s still so cheesy good. The garlic and basil flavors are light if you’re worried about it being overpowering. Tried the pasta for the first time and it was just as good as the pizza. Whatever you’re craving, Donairo’s is sure to please!

I purchased wings and pizza. Let me tell you, although the pizza was pretty good, the wings were some of the best I have ever had. Nice crispy outside with a hint of smokiness flavor. Keep up the good work here. I will stop back the next time I'm on the west coast.

This was an unbeatable experience at a warmly familiar neighborhood staple that I would love to come back for more

Also, the owner seems like a great guy, for the last time we went in, he had an enthusiastic demeanor and had a warm greeting of "it's good to see you". I highly recommend this place!

This place is the best to go to with friends! If you’re looking for an affordable pizza parlour then this is it. The crusts of the pizza is perfect, appetizers taste amazing, and the flavor is pure joy. The guy that works here is the nicest man I’ve ever met, he makes small talk with his customers and does not even ask for tips. The inside of this pizza parlour is well decorated and fully equipped with a tv. Overall, this is the best pizza in the world. The only thing I would change is to be open on Sunday.

Good pizza, great service. I am always please by the great service i get here. The guys are always friendly, and they throw off a good vibe. The pizza is always good, and the convenience of the place only being a few blocks away is a major plus. There just aren't any places nearby. I really should try some of the other items on the menu.

I'm a little spoiled growing up between Manhattan and New Haven (arguably the two best pizza cities), but Donairos delivers; both literally and figuratively. Pizza is solid, but the crew working there most nights is the real draw. They recognize and remember the regulars and sell by the slice late into the early hours... Definitely needed in a quiet part of the city. Glad to support them! 3.75 stars.

A chill place to get a slice of 'za. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizza was good quality, especially after a long day, it hit the spot.

Was it bad..... I mean kinda.. it wasn't great that is for sure. I ordered the Hawaiian feast. It says double portion on pineapple and ham... it was no where near double portion and if it was I'd hate to see the normal portion because to me 18 pineapple cubes does not constitute double portion (yes I counted it) the sauce was very very light. So there was no real flavor to the pizza. Just thin dough cheese and toppings. And for 26 bucks for a small... I think that's the most outrageous part of The whole ordeal. I'd understand if it was 18 for a small.. 3 topping small pizza.. sure but 26 dollars.. I wouldn't do it again if I had the chance. I'm sorry to say. I hate leaving bad reviews I really do

Pretty average veg gourmet pizza. Not much flavor going on, the sauce could have used a few more spices. Decent pricing for the size though. Tried their Alfredo pasta - lacking flavor, which even chilli flakes couldn't salvage.

Its not bad for the price. They have 18" pizzas for under $40 with lots of toppings. Everything is mediocre not great but aight. Good kind people work here. If you want some pretty aight pizza and have a budget this is a pretty aight spot.

This review is for the size of individual slices. They are very small. Usually the pizza taste is good... Although if you buy a slice chances are it's been under the heat lamp for a long time and you know what that means. But I don't have an issue with that because I know what I'm getting into when I order a slice from under a heat lamp, especially from a place that must not have very much foot traffic. My complaint is that the slices are very small as I already stated. I would rather go to Tony's and get a gargantuan slice for a dollar 50 more of the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life.

Very disappointing. Their product is very inconsistent. My most recent pizza was dry as the box it came in and incorrectly topped. I have ordered 3 times from Donario's this review is the sum of my experiences. 2 of the 3 times my pizza was topped without at least one of the items ordered items. Please note, I have been charged regardless. When I have asked to have a credit back for pour execution, I've been offered credit for a single topping which was never documented and thus couldn't be applied. I have taken the time to share my experiences with the owner who, rather indifferently, implied "Our pizza style may not be for you." My response is: Hot and topped as ordered is "my style." I like supporting local business and live in the neighborhood. But a poorly executed pizza made in a house whose owner is indifferent should not go undocumented. If you're in the Richmond district and want a good honest pizza, there's a very good pizzeria at Geary and 20th Ave and another wonderful, more gourmet alternative on 23rd between Clement and California. Both of these restaurants take pride and ownership in their products. The decision is yours. Enjoy your next pizza -D

Terrible pizza, rude obnoxious owner. Crust really has no flavor; is sorta chewy with corn meal and that’s it. The sauce is excessively salty. Ordered delivery once; not doing that again. Best to keep a Trader Joe’s ball of dough at home and make one yourself when the cravings hit. This location has a history of bad pizza stores.
