It was a beautiful evening experience, and the service was truly exceptional. Jose Moreno and Felipe were wonderful, consistently bringing a great selection of meats to our table and making sure we were well taken care of. Natalie was also an outstanding server and thoughtfully asked if there were any allergies she should be aware of, which I greatly appreciated because I am allergic to shellfish. Overall, the experience was delightful and the food was absolutely delicious. I would gladly return and highly recommend it.
Milton did a great job attending me and my family today. Our waiters did a great job explaining the menu and what came included with all options. Food was great and dessert was delicious! Although my lobster pasta took a while to come out, they were super kind a gave me a free meat and dessert to make up for the waiting time ;)) Super tranquil atmosphere would definitely come back.
What an amazing experience! Good: - I came here with a gift card from Costco, super worth it! - The salad buffet was amazing! So many options and it's unlimited - The single churrasco is more than enough, and the staff keep coming by to give you more slices of picanha and lamb picanha - Loved the fruit options, papaya cantaloupe, you name it - Love the cheesy bread as always, it definitely fills you up quickly! - The waiters brought us mashed potatoes and banana and other appetizers that were all so tasty. - Feels upscale and fancy for a date - Portion sizes are perfect, you won't be hungry after this Bad: - Can be pricey, but we got a good deal with Costco Overall this was a unique experience that I will be back for more for!
Fogo de Chão is an excellent restaurant. From the very first moment, the staff’s attention was pleasant and professional. I would especially like to highlight Raúl Gauchos, who was extremely kind, polite, and attentive at all times, making our experience even better. The food was cooked to perfection—never overcooked—and the flavors were truly satisfying. Service timing was impeccable; there was never a moment when we had to wait for the meats, as the staff was always attentive and on point. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy with a partner, family, or even on your own. Five stars feel like too few. Everyone should visit this restaurant and experience the great attitude, kindness, and genuine passion with which the staff treats their guests.
Me and my family came on Christmas day, we asked to seat at the Bar end have the bar menu, they don't have this option on this day, but as we only came for that they opened an exception, this is because the Hostess asked for us, right the way they advised us kitchen was busy food might take while, we sat down had drinks and some of the food came, a little bit after, Camila (supervisor, i believe), came and asked if we were waiting for something, we explained we were waiting on Picanha Burguer and Spinach dip, she rushed to the kitchen grabbed our burger but explained they were out of dip, she explained, apologized and even offered different options and compensation for that, she is awesome, my daughter ended up having a delicious Brigadeiro cake and we had an amazing time at this restaurant. Tumb up for customers service, food and experience. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. and guys, ask for Camila, she is awesome
This place is the best churrascaria I've been to, and I've been to many throughout Brazil and the U.S. What sets it apart? The meat quality, everything cooked to perfection. The salad bar was flavorful, not as many options as some other chains, but it doesn't matter because the quality and taste is better. Drinks were mixed nicely too. Had space for a large group of us and service was excellent. Often quality goes down with chain restaurants, not here.
Decided to try Fogo de Chao in San Francisco and we realized it is the busiest time of the year, although we had it during lunch. Since it was busy, it took a good 10 minutes to get seated although we had a reservation. It took another 15 minutes to get attended and finally got the “yes, please” card. Then the food started coming. The cheese with honey pretty good, unsure what it is but its a toasted cheese with honey. The cheese bread good too while its warm. The meats kept on coming after the other. I knew it is going to be overwhelming so I phased myself. I only got little of what I wanted and I knew they’ll keep on passing by. Some meats were under seasoned, some over seasoned and tough, did not like sirloin that much for that matter. I had a couple of helpings of rib eye, pretty tasty. The market bar were okay, plenty of stuff to choose from - salads, fruit, sides and cheese. I think its pretty much worth it for $50 something a person. Maybe will give it another try on another time when it is not busy. Plenty of parking garages/street parking nearby. If you sign up, you get a reward for first time user.
We waited a bit to be seated even though we had a reservation and a bit more for our server. That was okay though since with Brazilian style dining there is no waiting for your meal to be prepared. The food was excellent, all the meat selections were wonderful and the buffet salad bar was very good. Service was friendly and overall we enjoyed our dinner very much.
Fogo de Chão’s happy hour was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lively, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. The small plates were flavorful and well-portioned, and the drink specials were a great value. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day — great vibes, great service, and great prices.
Fogo de Chão never disappoints! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The customer service was truly top-tier—our manager even stopped by personally to greet us and ensure everything was perfect. The staff was attentive, caring, quick, and wonderfully personable, with a great sense of humor. We never had to wait or flag anyone down; every need was anticipated. The market table and salad bar offered an impressive variety of fresh, high-quality options—exactly what we’ve come to expect from Fogo. And the meats… absolutely outstanding. The lamb chops were cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the filet mignon melted in our mouths, and every single cut was exceptional. We celebrated our anniversary here, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We left full, satisfied, and smiling from ear to ear. Highly recommended—an absolute must-try!
I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally got to try it. We came to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th birthday. We all had a great time and everything we ate was yummy. We got to taste different cuts and by the end we were all full. I got the Pineapple Mint Lemonade and it was very tasty. Vinny was a great host, explaining the whole process to us since it was our first time there, super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will come back and loved that they had their holiday decor up because it felt very inviting and joyous to dine there.
I went to Fogo de Chão for dinner and chose the regular churrasco experience (the slightly cheaper one without some of the premium meats), which was perfect for me since I don’t eat a lot of meat. The service was great — our waiter was friendly, attentive, and polite. There was also a lady there, probably part of the management, who was super kind and welcoming. The meat service was good, nothing particularly special but still solid, and the quality of the cuts was excellent. What really stood out to me was the Salad Bar — it had a wide variety of fresh, delicious options and everything tasted amazing. Overall, a very good experience, and I’d definitely go back again.
Great food and excellent customer service! My family and I are Brazilian, and we’ve visited several Fogo de Chão locations across the US — but the San Francisco branch has been the best experience so far. If you’re Brazilian, you’ll feel right at home there. William Lima and Marcela went above and beyond, surprising us with a beautiful early celebration for my mom’s birthday after we casually mentioned her upcoming special day. It was one of the happiest dining moments we’ve had in the US. We’re so glad to have met them and will definitely be coming back. The staff is warm, attentive, generous, and truly makes you feel welcome — just like that one Brazilian friend of yours. I highly recommend this location — it’s my go-to spot when hosting guests or coworkers in the city.
Went there for a Christmas dinner with my family and it was amazing. Te food was great and l really recoment the full experience for anyone who wants to visit. It's more like “all you can eat” for $80/person. The only take back was the time it took us to get a table (1 hr) with a reservation. It was packed and l understand because it was Christmas and everyone wants to go there. The waiters were amazing and the food tastes great.
Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the lunch specials. they’re well priced, satisfying, and definitely a highlight of the menu. The atmosphere is classy without being pretentious, making it a nice spot for either a casual bite or a business lunch. That said, there are a few areas that could use some fine tuning. Service was friendly but a little uneven at times, which made the experience less smooth than it could have been. The kitchen also seems ambivalent about doneness. I ordered a steak medium-rare, but what came out was closer to well-done. Small details like this make a big difference, so I hope these are adjusted moving forward. Overall, this is a solid restaurant with great value and lots of potential. With some improvements in consistency from both the kitchen and service, it could easily become one of the top spots in the area.
Since we arrived, the server was giving some attitude. I know the menu could be a little complicated and they have an event in the back but I was expecting better service since I was celebrating a birthday. The server did not visit our table at all, even when I asked for a drink or something he did not come to check on the table. As a manager myself, I believe this restaurant could do so much better, no water came to our table and we always asked for dessert. he always say like wich one did you order, he didn’t sing or anything but he ask for crème brûlée, cake and other he always say like ohh we don’t have that one. When the check come to our table I dint complain I came to this restaurant because i can afford any price I feel so sorry that 430 dollars wasn’t enough for this place . Food was incredible but costumer service give to much to questionate
NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS. They brought me a bowl of berries for dessert and half way through there was randomly a crumb of chocolate cake that I inadvertently ate part of. I immediately recognized the taste and texture of chocolate cake and looked into the bowl and sure enough there was a big crumb of cake. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said, it’s fine it’s just some of the chocolate ganache that got in there and that it’s gluten free. But it was definitely not ganache it was cake. They took the berry bowl back immediately and said they were bringing me another bowl… But if it’s actually safe then why the need to take it back. I asked again when they came back what that was because it didn’t seem like ganache and they said it was fine and that there was no gluten in the desserts other than the cheesecake base so whatever it was would be fine. When they brought a new one out they also brought a small container of chocolate ganache on the side. I tasted it and it was a completely different taste and consistency than whatever crumb was originally mixed in with the berries. The ganache was a light brown liquid versus the thing in the berries was a dark chunk of cake. 2 totally different things. I was up all night with a stomach ache of course. I later checked the menu and they have a molten chocolate lava cake on it (not gluten free). That is 100% the random chunk that wound up in the berry bowl. They were kind of rude about the whole thing. I think the part that bothers me the most is the cover up. Just own it and apologize. I get it, celiac contamination is tricky to avoid. Don’t try to make me feel like I’m nuts and don’t try to cover it up. Anyway, the food was decent otherwise. Steak not great but the seafood tower was really good and the salads were good. I felt totally fine up until I had that berry bowl. So maybe you’d be fine if you go and it was a total fluke that something got dropped into the bowl of fruit. But I question their allergen cross contamination protocol because of this. Obviously not using separate serving spoons and utensils. Eat at your own risk!!
Contrary to expectations, a memorable wedding celebration turned out to be a disappointment. Initially, the front desk staff exhibited unprofessional behavior, lacking apology and displaying a degree of rudeness. Despite having made a reservation at 7:30 PM and arriving 10 minutes early, we were subjected to a 55-minute wait to be seated. Typically, we receive a comprehensive dining experience, allowing us to savor a variety of steaks and other dishes that should be served. Consequently, we waited 30 minutes for food serving and we appeared to be requesting the meat we should have been enjoying. Fogo de Chao has been a significant part of our life celebrations and milestones, but this experience stands out as the most unsatisfactory one we have encountered over the years. While we have never experienced such disappointment and dissatisfaction in our lives, this incident is irreversible. Thank you for the unforgetable worst experience!
The meat has no flavor/ seasoning, chicken tastes like water when taking a bite, we made a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes because they overbooked themselves…. My favorite part of the market table was the cheese. Just go to a steak house and for the same price you can order different plates and leave happy. Disappointed. But the experience was fun. However, i still have no idea why 20+ people were waiting for so long after making reservations. The team clearly messed up their system.
