**VEGAN OPTIONS** I've loved Ike's for years, and tonight they proved once again how awesome they are!! I have never had a sandwich here I didnt like! So many fun, unique vegan sandwiches here! I recommend Meatless Mike, Vegan Pee Wee, Vegan Pilgrim, Vegan Handsome Owl. They offer vegan meats and vegan cheese. I was assured everything on our sandwiches was vegan including the bread and all sauces. Ike's makes ordering as a vegan easy!! Try the Voo Doo chips too! Super friendly. Incredibly fast. Much faster than every other Ike’s I’ve been to. What a delicious vegetarian sandwich. Really love the Dutch crunch roll too

Ike was absolutely delicious. The variety they have in their sandwiches is unbelievable. They also have incredible flavor and I visit every time I am in San Francisco. I would highly recommend Ikes to anyone who loves sandwiches or wants a new twist on a sandwich. I.e a roast beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese stick or jalapeno poppers on it.

This shop is quite busy, so add 10 minutes to the website ETA. Staff are friendly and sandwiches are excellent as always.

Ordered sandwiches for my family, there was some computer issue when we went to pay. It appeared the system went down and didn't accept my debit card, so we paid cash. After going home I see it did charge my card, we paid twice. I phone and spoke with Julian he immediately refunded my card. Such good customer service, and very good sandwiches. The Dutch crunch bread is the best.

Sandwiches here are amazing! Super tasty and you can get them delivered to your door. They have a good range of veggie options which is appreciated. They also have gluten free options. Sandwiches are pricey, you can easily pay between £17-£19 for just a sandwich. They are big and filling though. Recommend as a one off or treat.

Very good sandwich! I had my share of sandwiches living on the East Coast but this is a really good combo of ingredients! Voted best sandwich in the world! (By His Mom) it's really good Mom! I ordered sandwich 232-Robb Nen, 298-Jaymeetless and 111- Meage A Trois, all on Dutch Bread. This bread is fantastic! Took me 15 minutes to figure what I wanted because the menu is HUGE! Lol

You'll definitely want to use the website and place an order 15 minutes in advance since they're usually busy making mostly take out orders. If eating there the tables are really small and there's nowhere to seat more than 2 people.

Ike's is definitely the place for vegan sandwiches, I made this place my fallback daily meal for a week, and it never disappointed. You can take it with you to the park or plaza or just enjoy it in your hotel room. My favorite was the Zenobia.

Update 09/2023 They turned the quality upside down. Good experience. Asked them to extra toast dutch crunch, extra sauce, several back and forth requests and the staff executed well. They did make it with love this time. —— 10/2022 This specific location. Messed up order. I don’t think they made it with love. Gave our order to some other customer. What’s the point of 18% gratuity when we got our’s, the dutch crunch bread wasn’t toasted. It was cold and soggy. Later they told that the staff is new & in training period & offered to make another one. I did not want to waste food so ended up eating this one.

Good quality food, but a little pricey. Two sandwiches and two drinks came to $32. This location was understaffed as there were only two people working in the evening and they were getting slammed by the doordash and GrubHub drivers. But kudos to them as they kept their cool and remained friendly and professional. I look forward to stopping by before a show at the Great American music Hall again

Had to go past a ton of homeless and drug users in order to get to this sandwich shop. The smell of urine and dodging tons of poop stains already put a damper on my appetite. Ordered the #126 Mark Appel and it only had 2 pieces of chicken in the sandwich. Definitely too pricey for what it is. The only redeeming factor was that I had it to go and the sandwich was made so tight that nothing leaked. That is a plus. Other than that, I wish it was bigger and had more meat. This place also didn't take mobile payments. Other than that, at least the people there were nice.

The worst sandwich I’ve had in San Francisco. Incredibly cloyingly sweet Dutch crunch bread. Almost NO meat, minimal veg, and a ridiculous amount of sauces coating both the bread and meat. And the sauces had a ton of sugar in them too? This feels like the sandwich version of those gross “unicorn coffee” concoctions. Great if you love sugar sugar sugar and a face full of sauce and don’t want to actually taste meat and vegetables at all I almost exclusively only write reviews when they are glowing 5 star reviews, this was so bad that I’m compelled to warn people
