A hidden gem! The pizza was absolutely delicious, the prices unbeatable, and the service warm and friendly. Don’t let the humble, vintage setting fool you—this spot is all about amazing food and great value. Highly recommend!

I ordered fettuccine Alfredo, not on the menu, and it was delicious. The sauce was exactly what I imagined and so good, I ordered extra. Our waitress explained the $4 extra charge since the chef makes it fresh and it was totally worth it. Also, their (no cheese) garlic bread & Balsamic dressing made their house salad a perfect way to start the meal. And you’ll love the portions😋

OMG! Amazing food! I costumized my own pizza with salami and bacon and OMG was so good. The secret is in the sauce. It was delicious and made all the ingredients taste so good. Pluss you can costumize your Thickness. I requested thin and that's exactly what they brought me. Delicious! And the veal! I haven't tried a better beef than this one. And I'm picky with my meat. We love the garlic bread too. My husband and I will definitely come back and try the pasta because I'm obsessed now with their sauce. Both of the waitress that helped us were super nice and kind. Our new fav place for pizza now.

Haystack pizza is an institution and Noe Valley staple! We came here on a Monday night for a third grade end of season soccer celebration and it hit all the marks. The pizza, pasta and salads were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect with a post meal playground right next door. We definitely came in hot with 40+ people, but they handled it. We are eternally grateful for the smiles they offered us and we loved all the delicious food we continually ordered for our insatiable crowd. Thank you for welcoming us and hosting us Haystack. We will be back!

I had a great meal with my wife on new Year's Eve. We had garlic bread, a couple of glasses of wine, spaghetti with meatballs and a personal pizza. Everything was great! We love the sauce for the meatballs and the pizza. Everything is made from scratch and at the end of the meal the owner had the waitress offer us complimentary champagne glasses to celebrate the new year. We have been here before, and I can highly recommend the veal

They were also completely unfazed by the chaotic group of kindergartners. I ordered a sausage pizza that was very tasty. It had a nice crust and large pieces of sausage. They also had North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner on draft, that you can order by the pitcher. This place has good vibes and good pizza, check them out if you're in the neighborhood.

Best food in the area and the restaurant is so clean, especially since they've been around for more than 50 years. Place looks brand new! Service is a bit slow sometimes, but overall a great dining experience.

I've been coming to Haystacks for over 20 years since High School. I moved away from area came back and decide to eat at my old stopping ground. I am so glad I did the food is great the minestrone soup is one of the best I have tasted. The pizza is delicious and salad with the Italian deli meats is mouthwatering. The pasta is wonderful as well. My absolute favorite thing about Haystack is the staff!!! ❤️ such a great group of people.

Food was below average. Pizza tasted like DiGiorno. Calamari was 99% breading. All the ingredients felt low quality. From cheese to pepperoni to crust. The service was average. Was looking forward to a family owned pizzeria experience but this one definitely missed the mark sadly.

Not only did I end up with a pizza that very clearly had been made at least a few hours ago, but it wasn't anything that I had ordered (The Alexander). Tried to contact them and was offered $15 off...I didn't order this. Tried to get some kind of rational out of them and CS through the app and got a back and fourth of "that's what's authorized in this partially fufilled order" It's not exactly a missing side of wings. It's missing "pizza that I grew up on and family really liked" with a cold cracker topped with middle finger shaped pineapples (yeah I'm one of those guys). Really bummed that my OG fav spot has devolved to this.

There will not be a 3rd as I will not return to this establishment again.

There was also no acknowledgement from the waitstaff about the lengthy wait. The pizza was $36 and sadly tasted very similar to a frozen pizza you’d get at the grocery store. We were really excited to try this place but it ended up just being disappointing.

So I’ve been to this place twice and both times they have not gotten my order right. The first time I ordered pepperoni and mushroom. I got home to find out they put sausage and mushroom. So we just took the sausage off and ate the pizza. Today I ordered the same thing and this time we opened the box there, just to see they just put mushroom and no pepperoni. This is a door dash delivery, One of the dishes se ordered was the fried calamari. There were only crumbs and pieces. Look at the picture. We will never order from them again. Who would even eat this??
