Opinions de Kinara Fusion Kitchen San Francisco
Kinara Fusion Kitchen is a great place to enjoy flavorful Indian fusion food. The dishes are well prepared, nicely presented, and full of rich spices and taste. The menu offers a good variety of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. One thing I really appreciate is that they serve halal food and offer halal beef items, which makes it a good choice for people looking for halal dining options. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The service was quick, and the food tasted fresh and satisfying. A nice place to visit if you want to enjoy Indian flavors while exploring San Francisco.
While visiting San Francisco, California, I tried Kinara Fusion after seeing it trending on Instagram, and it truly lived up to the hype. The Indian flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every dish was packed with taste and perfectly balanced spices. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the staff made sure we had a great experience. The ambience was stylish yet comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for flavorful Indian fusion in San Francisco.
Food is awesome and quite close to authentic Indian food. Pani Puri shots and Chicken 65 were great. Would highly recommend this place.
I ordered takeout for paneer tikka masala (spicy), garlic naan, and plain naan. Everything was delicious — the naans were fluffy, and the paneer was well cooked. Would recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Kinara Fusion! The food was outstanding, but the real stars of the evening were the Chilly Naan and the Dal Tadka. The Chilly Naan was perfectly baked — soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the edges, packed with bold flavors and a delicious spicy kick that made every bite unforgettable. It’s unique and truly one of the best I’ve had in San Francisco. The Dal Tadka was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced with authentic spices. You can genuinely taste the freshness and care in every spoonful — it felt like a homestyle dish prepared with restaurant-level perfection. A special thanks to Shahil and the entire team for their exceptional hospitality. The service was attentive, warm, and professional. Shahil made sure everything was perfect and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience at Kinara Fusion! Their non-vegetarian dishes are next level — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying. The spices hit just right without overpowering the natural taste of the meat. And the Panipuri… wow! Crispy, tangy, and bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in the city — so addictive that I ended up ordering extra. Shahil and the whole team made the experience even better with their warm, attentive service. They really care about making each guest feel welcome. Kinara Fusion is definitely going on my list for ordering again and again online. Every dish is a winner!
My experience at Kinara Fusion Kitchen in San Francisco** was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, Rahil welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout the entire evening. The food was outstanding. The pani puri shots were a showstopper — beautifully presented, perfectly crisp, and filled with vibrant, tangy, and spicy flavors that exploded in every bite. Such a fun and elevated twist on a classic favorite. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a bold, well-balanced sauce that kept us reaching for more. And the chicken tikka masala was absolutely incredible — rich, creamy, and layered with deep, aromatic spices. The chicken was tender and perfectly marinated, making every bite comforting and flavorful. Shahil truly stands out — not only for his hospitality but for his clear passion for the cuisine. He took the time to explain the inspiration behind the dishes, blending traditional Indian flavors with a modern fusion approach. You can tell he puts thought and creativity into every plate. Sufiyan demonstrated incredible skill and attention to detail. The balance of spices, textures, and presentation showed true culinary craftsmanship. Every dish felt refined and intentional. Jafar also deserves major recognition for the consistency and execution. From the seasoning to the cooking technique, everything came out perfectly timed and beautifully plated. The teamwork in the kitchen is evident in how seamless the entire dining experience feels. Kinara Fusion Kitchen delivers not just a meal, but a memorable experience. Amazing food, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares about what they create. I can’t wait to return!
Great food and service. Value for money. Love the Pan puri shots. Food was very tasty and in generous portions. 1 star less on the atmosphere because it was a little cold inside.
Amazing service and the food was so good. We had two birthdays and they gave us huge portions of saffron ice cream and Gulaab jamun on the house. Overall everything was excellent. The garlic naan is so buttery, so is the karahi and the Dum biryani.
Without a doubt this place is the finest upscale family operated Indian restaurant in SF! If you want flavor… spice… and ambience all in one…. This is the spot 100%! They take huge pride in flavor and presentation. They meticulously clean tables and floors for each seating! The two brothers (owners) are all smiles and very hospitable, so is the staff! Must go if you’re ever downtown and craving spicy fresh high quality (not reheated) Indian!
We had a wonderful experience at Kinara Fusion Kitchen. The atmosphere was truly excellent—a relaxed and inviting place to spend time with friends or family. Their menu offers a diverse selection of enticing options. We sampled the dum biryani, the Bombshell Burger, and the curry-topped MVP Pizza, all of which were outstanding. For dessert, we enjoyed the fusion appetizer, Kanafeh Rasmalai, which provided the perfect conclusion to our meal. A few other highlights worth mentioning: * The place is clean, including the washrooms, which I greatly appreciate. * The staff members are very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. * I also appreciated their efficient online system for ordering and payment, which made the entire process seamless. The only potential drawback is the limited street parking due to the busy neighborhood, so it is advisable to plan accordingly if you are driving.
Sahil is awesome. What a welcome and place! So many great food & drinks options & a great representation of Indian food. We had desi / badmaash wings, pani puri, nihari, cheese naan & thumbs up. The decor is fun. People are noticing it- they should get more neon signs, fix up the front exterior & get some lighting to attract. Use the social media momentum :)
Had such a great evening by here! The service was PHENOMENAL. Shahil really took care of us and helped out with diet restrictions. He even whipped up a special dessert when none on the menu fit our dietary restrictions, which was so kind and generous! The naan was the fluffiest I’ve ever had. The vibes were great! Highly recommend and I want to go back soon to try the pizza!
Excellent food and amazing service! First time here from Houston and really enjoyed everything we ordered. The chicken 65 is the best I have ever had. Houston raves about its food here equally good if not better! Our favorite was the pani puri shots, chicken 65, MVP Pizza, BBQ Ribs, Chicken Tikka Masala and Biryani. The Biryani had a bit more masala than rice but it was still delicious! And the naan - best ever - so hot and fluffy!! Amazing end to a long touristy day here in Bay City! Everything was so good so we decided to give dessert a try and I am so glad b/c fheir Gajar ka Halwa reminded me of Karachi! So so so good!
We visited Kinara today for first time and we absolutely loved their fusion desi food! The pani puri shots were so chic and fun to eat, and the samosa’s were perfectly crispy and flavorful. The mocktails were super refreshing 👌🏻 truly the kind you keep sipping without realizing.😮💨 We ordered the mix grill platter, and it came out sizzling hot with amazing aroma.💥 The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and Their naan is not to be missed too soft, buttery, and the perfect combo. And the biryani right after was fragrant, flavorful. Also tried the mango lassi and chicken boti, both delicious and beautifully served.Ended up with their famous Faluda The presentation is top-notch, and the service is very accommodating. Overall, such a delightful dining experience!🫶🏻
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a great Indian restaurant in downtown San Francisco! The food was absolutely delicious full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. The space itself is gorgeous, with really nice decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and hang out. The bartender made amazing cocktails, and the servers were super friendly and attentive. The owners even stopped by to check in, which made the experience feel extra personal. You can tell they put a lot of heart into this place. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again.
My colleague and I stopped by after a long day at our conference. We had developed quite the appetite and we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was chill (perfect after sitting in sessions all day), and the food was incredible! We will definitely be coming back.
Enjoyed Kinara for dinner! The inside was really cute and cozy. It was very busy at dinner so make sure you do a reservation. Tandoori Fish was really tasty (I am not a big fish person but I really enjoyed it) no fishy taste. Lamb chops are a must and the cheesy garlic naan was almost like a mini pizza. Would recommend for a nice halal place to eat. They also had a prayer spot downstairs. This is downtown SF so make sure you go early to find parking (it’s a pretty popular area with lots of food spots so parking is very tough) there are two parking garages however they are flat fees of $30+, we were lucky to drive in circles until we got street parking. Again just go early to ensure you can find parking or if you are okay parking far and walking.
Quick update: the pizza tastes better when reheated! We ordered more than we could eat and just ate the leftover pizza for dinner. The flavors came out stronger with a day in the fridge and reheated in the oven. 👌 ---- We had a wonderful meal at Kinara. It was less fusion than we were expecting, but super flavorful dishes. Highly recommend the appetizers -- we thoroughly enjoyed the pani puri shots and the cauliflower Manchurian (warning ⚠️: it is spicy! 🌶️). The gulab jamun was also really flavorful and not cloyingly sweet like I've experienced in the past. Personally we found the green lantern chicken a little dry (although fine with the dipping sauces) and the curry for MVP pizza a less curry-forward that we expected (but not bad by any means). The pricing is very reasonable and every dish was very flavorful. A lot of tables near us were ordering the fire fries, which we'll have to order next time we visit. I would also guess that their curries are really good. Slightly lower marks for the service since it was a bit slow to begin with, but once we ordered the food came out very quickly. This is a hidden gem dinner option to add to the rotation. 👏
First time visiting San Francisco and this restaurant. Very busy for a Friday night. Our waiter, Rahil P., was so nice and helpful in picking out food. Amazing decor and atmosphere. Very well lit. We ordered the Desi chicken wings, the mixed platter, and fire fries with chicken. The mixed platter included chicken boti, beef boti, tandoori chicken, and lamb chops. Food was amazing. Very flavorful. Kashmiri chai served on Fridays and Saturdays. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco.
Great location, great service, good ambiance but some of the food left a little more to be desired. We ordered a few things the burger was a bit of disappointment, probably better to call it onion burger than bison anything. The patty was a bit like Chapli kebab and not enough meat, the proportions were off severely. The house fav chick nan was amazing, better than the mango chicken pizza. The non alcoholic drinks were great as well. The wings and loaded fries were alright. Still enjoyed the visit and if I am near by will try other dishes.
We've been trying to get in into this place for a while becuse for whatever reason they dont accept walk ins you have to reserve ..why ill never know becuse when we went on a Tuesday guy infront counter first thing he asked us and when we left an hour later place was half empty anyways the food was good like thier nans were good chicken was good tikka masalaa wasn't the best I've had my only disappointment was lamb really tough and dry and thier coke beverage tasted flat we complained but server didnt care the area is not the best for a place that caters to be upscale reservation only inside was nice not great but honestly the service needs to be better just a bunch of dudes standing around giving you the eye
Great ambiance with Instagram-worthy decor. The food presentation is top-notch, and the service was excellent throughout. The samosa chaat was flavorful, and the ribs, while tender, were a bit too heavy on the BBQ sauce for my taste. The chicken tikka masala was decent, though not a standout. I wasn’t too fond of the naan, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. I’d definitely go back!
We had dinner at Kinara while visiting SF. I live in Sacramento and I heard this place had pretty good pakistani food. To my disappointment, the food looked great but didn't taste great. I wish I had gone around the corner to Pakwan instead. We ordered the mixed grill, karahi chicken, biriyani, nihari, chicken 65, gol guppa shots and a burger and of course naans. The mixed grill had an assortment of overcooked/dried chicken, lamb and beef kabobs; nothing on this plate was right. The karahi chicken was ok but nothing special. The biriyani, nihari, and chicken 65 were pretty good. The naan was probably the best thing we ate. My kid ordered a dragon/mango mocktail that tasted like fruit punch with soda water; don't order the mocktails. All the food looked great but didn't deliver on taste. Skip this place and try the other pakistani places a block away.
