Opinions de Kirimachi Ramen San Francisco
A very good experience. The ramen was served at the perfect temperature, the service was excellent and very friendly. The neighborhood is wonderful, and I love the architecture. I highly recommend this place.
I always make time to visit Kirimachi whenever I go to SF. Love everything in the menu, and the chef always comes up with creative special items. They make their own noodle, fresh. The interior is really cute. Love the custom mural on the wall!! Service is always excellent too. They’re attentive and fast. Location is right across from the Ferry Building.
Fire food and great service. The lady running the place was super sweet and attentive. Got the vegan ramen with a miso soup base and some tofu. It was super good! Def recommend
This is the perfect little Ramen restaurant, great service, carefully prepared ramen, and a wide variety of side dishes as well! The chicken Karaage, gyoza and Brussels sprouts are not to be missed! The only issue you’ll have is figuring out how you’re actually going to eat all that food in one sitting! If you can bring some friends it definitely helps so you can all enjoy as many different dishes as possible since they are all amazing!! The duck and truffle ramen is one of the most unique among ramen restaurants, having a clear savory broth and a smell so good you almost don’t even need to eat it!! Besides the great food, a casual atmosphere and very efficient service as well make this the “go to” ramen place for me!
The food is always amazing. Some of best ramen I’ve ever had. Big fan of the Shoyu and the Tori Paitan ramens. Owner/server is super sweet!
After a long day at work and walking in the wind, all I need for the evening is a bowl of steaming ramen. Found this place near my office and ordered a Chuuka Men. Wow it was good! The broth was delicious and hot, I wasn’t even thirsty after drinking the entire bowl, probably because it was MSG free! The noodle was perfectly cooked; the egg and chashu also tasted great! I can tell that the entire bowl of ramen was cooked the way it was in Japan. As for the price, I was surprised that it was actually very affordable, considering the fact that the restaurant was located in Embarcadero Center. I need to go there again and try new stuff.
my favorite ramen shop in the bay. the hostess is so kind and funny. she provides fast service and remembered my girlfriend and I’s orders. the prices are more than fair for the amount of soup and i highly recommend adding the soy marinated egg! The noodles are nice and bouncy and the eggs are always perfectly soft boiled. the broth is complex but light enough to finish it all!
This is one of the best ramen places I've ever been to! Despite the foot court like atmosphere everything else was done to almost perfection! I ordered the shoyu ramen and karage chicken. They were both fantastic! The ramen noodles were al dente and the broth was clean and tasty! The egg on the ramen was cooked to perfection. If I had to nit pick, the pork is not as tender as I'd like, but overall the ramen was great! The chicken was super crispy and fresh. The flavor of the coating was very good. The service is also great! She was so attentive and friendly! I highly recommend this place for a nice lunch or even a good evening dinner.
Came here for lunch. Very nice staff. We felt welcome immediately and throughout our meal. I would return if in the area again. We wandered around the Ferry Building and didn’t find anything we wanted to eat. This ramen joint saved the day. Also very nice mural done on their wall.

I ordered the Chuuka men Ramen soup, and it is the BEST ramen I ever had, homemade noodles made right in the restaurant!, rich chicken broth freshly made, bonito dashi and yuzu lemon!, mmmmm I definetely coming back for more! If you want the best ramen in SF, come to Kirimachi Ramen at Embarcadero 3!

Of course! Here is a 4-star review in English that reflects your experience: 4/5 — Good, but we expected more We visited Kirimachi Ramen with my wife based on some good recommendations. The place left us with mixed feelings. The service was indeed good: polite staff, our order was taken and delivered quickly. The prices are reasonable for this area. However, the main disappointment was the taste of the ramen. The broth seemed a bit flat and bland to us, and the noodles were just okay. We've tried different types of ramen in Japan and at other local spots, and here it didn't quite live up to the expected standard. It lacked depth and richness. The atmosphere inside also wasn't great: the space feels a bit sterile and lacks the coziness and authentic vibe you usually look for in a ramen-ya. Verdict: It might be worth stopping by if you're nearby and need a quick bite, but it's not the best choice for a special night out or a memorable ramen experience.
A good little Ramen restaurant in Embarcadero. The Ramen had great taste and texture, the broth was good, and the side dishes we had (seaweed salad in particular) were tasty. The server was also very friendly. A bit on the pricier side (though I suppose standard for SF), but worth a try if you want a good and relatively quick meal.
I tried the 'Chuuka men' here. They include wood-ear mushroom and pork (which is pretty standard), but they also include yuzu zest in it! It's definitely different than any other ramen I've had before, very mild in flavor. I will have to come back and try their other varieties.
My husband and I passed by this place a lot since we moved to the city, but we haven’t had the chance to eat here till recently . The location is in 3 Embarcadero Ctr, very close to public transportation and the Ferry Building. The restaurant is pretty big and it has a lot of long tables which is perfect for large groups. The service was amazing. The lady was really nice and attentive - real Japanese hospitality. We noticed that she knows the orders of her loyal customers 👌🏻👌🏻 The food was also very good. My husband and I finished our ramens down to the last drop of soup 😅 the broth is thick but light. It’s straight up, no frills, good ramen.
Excited to check off this ramen spot! We saw they do this duck truffle ramen on a 2022 menu posted in Google map. That seems to be gone now (we saw truffle ramen with no mention of duck). Anyway, we went for their tori paitan and chuuka men ramen. The broth was flavourful and the ramen texture was good. Can't really complain here.
Great and slightly different takes on ramen. Noodles had a good bite. Service was good. The gyoza were perfection.
As the previous reviews state, the woman running this thing is truly a gem! They have a Ramen of the Day which like CMON and I had to get it when she said it was hot Korean spiced. Absolutely no notes, loved it, love her!

Kirimachi Ramen is a quick and affordable option for eating in San Francisco. The place is small and has a fast food style. The service is friendly, and the food is acceptable, but it could be better. I'm not sure if I would return, as there are many better options in the city.

The waitress was friendly but the chicken ramen I got was on the lower end. It had a fishy taste and I had to use a lot of table seasoning to give it flavor. It also made my lips sticky. Wish it was better quality like I have had at other places.

This place appears to be a ghost kitchen. I showed up at 5:45 and the doors were chained shut. Wish my friends and I could’ve eaten here— maybe the hours are just not accurate.
