Opinions de Lady Luck Cafe San Francisco
This place is amazing for its price. My girlfriend and I had gotten the red bean ice cream drink (no. 9) and the Hong Kong sweet milk tea (no. 6). We were expecting the prices to be the “normal” $7 for a drink but was surprised to find that it was around $4-5 a drink. The tea itself was very smooth and rich in flavor. They take a great amount of pride in their work and their attention to detail is like none other; they double up their cups so condensation doesn’t drip on you or in your cup holders. They also freeze their milk tea and use it to keep your drink cold instead of ice (at least for the sweet tea I had gotten) so as to not water down your drink throughout its entirety. I am planning to come back the chance I get to show my sister what an amazing place this cafe is! I would highly recommend anyone to give this place a try. (Apologies for the “unprofessional” photos)
Authentic milk tea in Bay Area! Good quality of drinks and Chinese desserts. Friendly owner and staffs. Nice decoration. Definitely highly recommended in Chinatown!!
Delicious tea, i took the hong kong style sweet milk drink (no 6) and it was perfect, not too sweet and a strong tea flavor. I paid like 5$ for it, perfectly reasonable price compared to other places. When I was there it was pretty empty so sat inside while waiting for a friend calmly!
Two large BUBBLE TEAS (Got the Thai Tea (orange color) & Taro Tea (purple in color) all for $12 and change. Was nice walking around GRANT (the most color street with Murals in San Fran's Chinatown). The two young men who made the teas were nice and helpful. The cold teas were FANTASTIC!
Pretty good tea! I got the iced boba matcha tea while my partner got the mango fruit tea. I loved the matcha with half sugar. Good tea and a great atmosphere; the building has nice artistic touches while maintaining a simplistic yet fun design. Prices were average for boba. I would stop by here again!
Really really good Boba tea! You can tell the Boba was fresh and super chewy. The portion of Boba is quite large too. I had 50% sweetness milk tea. 💯 recommendations!
The best mango sago drink anywhere! The men behind the counter were friendly and took great care of my drink orders - a mango sago drink and a Peet's coffee.
Big selection of teas. Good service and reasonably priced. Cheaper than most of the other tea shops in china town.
Very good Hong Kong sweet tea! I loved it the ice was actually frozen tea too which was special and very nice!!!
Amazing watermelon juice! So fresh and great price
Delicious boba tea! Must visit this place if you’re in Chinatown area. I also got a coffee for the family and it was tasty as well.
Got the regular black milk tea with boba for $5. No complaints. On the sweet side so go for 50% sugar. They use non dairy creamer so everything is vegan!
Strawberry Matcha latte is so good. Fresh flavorful and delicious. Super cute store and location in middle of Chinatown. Fast friendly service too. Def recommend
Taro milk boba was delicious! the boba was fresh and chewy, the taro was not too sweet. The workers were super friendly and helpful. New favorite boba place in the city!
Great hk milk tea and the owner is very sweet. Prices are great!

Amazing boba milk tea for the price. It is now my go-to place go boba milk tea
The drinks are absolutely delicious! No artificial flavors, they are all handmade infront of you. This is the first time I had real watermellon juice without someone adding 50% water to it to save money. I saw them squish the melon myself and has watermelon chunks, Loved it!! The servers are so sweet as well! Always putting a smile on our faces and making everyone feel welcomed. The store is really nice and has both indoor and outdoor seating.
my friend & i got the brown sugar boba today. it was only $5.50 and the cup was huge! it came with a ton of boba, which was a nice change from most other places where they barely give you any boba. the finishing touch was when they came out with a blow torch & toasted the brown sugar crystals on the whipped cream on the boba! overall it was delicious & the service was amazing!

Came here on Saturday February 24 when Chinese new years festivities were going on. It was empty when we walked in but got filled up shortly after. I am not a regular Boba drinker but really enjoyed the brown sugar milk Boba. Very good prices and have milk alternatives.
Stumbled upon Lady Luck Cafe in the heart of Chinatown, San Francisco, it is definitely a spot for a quick Boba fix! Tucked away on Grant St., this unassuming spot is a simple yet charming place to grab a drink. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, you’re definitely paying for the prime location. It’s the perfect pit stop exploring Chinatown.
