Opinions de Mama Go's Filipino Cuisine San Francisco
Mama Go's is good for what it is. Quick, ready to serve, Filipino food at the airport, terminal 1, by gate B18. The food tasted OK. I wish it was served hot though. My side of eggs $6 (1/2 a small container), chicken skewer $8 and eight piece lumpia $11 were all served at room temperature. The food needed seasoning. Luckily there is a little condiments station with hot sauce and sweet & sour sauce to the left. The eggs were over-cooked. It was dry and needed more moisture. My suggestion would be to cook them with a bit of milk or at a lower heat. The lumpia was the Costco type. Not that there is anything wrong with that. There is no dedicated seating and the food was served in to-go containers. No wait at 10am. Service was fine. The menu is a bit confusing and is worded in size 12 font on a screen 15 feet away. There weren't prices on the menu to the left.
Delicious Filipino food served hot, I had the 3 entree combo with pork bicol express (highly recommend), beef kaldereta (recommend), and chicken adobo. The combo came with soup and a side, I had the lumpia, which seemed to be the must popular choice. Total came out to about $25 and the serving size was easily enough to feed two people. The only complaint I would have is some of the entrees have an upcharge that's not listed on the menu.
Lovely staff and attentive service. The breakfast bowl with adobo chicken tasted great. The portion is generous. I was not a fan of the mochi donuts. They had a thick candied coating. It was my first time to try it, and I'm glad I did, but it was just not for me.
Mama Go’s at SFO is such a gem! The Filipino food here is absolutely delicious and comforting, which is rare to find at an airport. I always go for the pancit sotanghon—it’s flavorful, light yet filling, and reminds me of a true homemade dish. The portions are generous, the service is quick (perfect for travelers on the go), and the food quality never disappoints. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m flying through San Francisco. Highly recommend if you’re craving something tasty and authentic before your flight!
The pork picol was creamy and has a little heat. That and the chicken adobo were delicious! The 2 entree plate could serve 2, but one hungry person (me) is capable to finish. Service was so friendly and the plating was better than expected for airport takeaway! So happy to have this in the airport, I would cross terminals for Mama Go’s!
I walked from terminal 3 all the way to terminal 1 because of the reviews for this restaurant in the SFO airport and man, I was NOT disappointed at all! I've never had airport food this good before and highly recommend the longanisa sausages and carioca dessert for breakfast! And you can't go wrong with the garlic fried rice any part of the day. Quick note that when I went (Sep 2025) their got coffee machine was broken.
This restaurant was right outside of my gate at the airport. I was actually headed to another restaurant but I saw the food and it looked good. It was delicious. The service was wonderful and it was a very clean environment.
Caught this gem on a long layover and as a Filipino Celiac I cannot say enough how rare it is to have an abundance of safe, let alone delicious, Filipino dishes to eat on the go. This place has plenty, great quality ingredients, great servings, and lovely staff. A must visit!
Didn’t know I was a fan of the Filipino cuisine. Food was sooo delicious 🤤 and the lady serving is very nice. This was indeed the most delicious food I have eaten in the airport. Had combo meal with 2 entrees with chicken adobo and pork picol (highly recommended) Which came with the soup and everything you see in the image. Will eat here every time I visit terminal 1 It costs 19$ before the tax (22$ after tax)
Every time I connect at SFO, I race across the airport to get food here. Delicious and comforting food to recharge for your adventure. Plenty of tables nearby.
I ordered the Omnipork Spam & Vegan Egg Garlic Fried Rice Plate. It comes with rice and the spam and folded vegan egg (I believe it's Just Egg) seperate. It's made to order so expect to wait a bit longer for it compared to the dishes on their storefront menu. They even have vegan bubble tea! Both were great to bring on the plane when I know there's not in plane options.
Taste like you are attending a Filipino party in the terminal. Had the Adobo, Kaldereta, pancit satangon and the pork bicol express. All solid. Portions are big. Combos come with two scoops of rice so plan accordingly. Shanghai is a recommended side.
What a great surprise at SFO International Airport. If you like Filipino food that’s great and even more perfect if you’re on the go….Mama Go’s is for you!! I had a 9am flight so this was a perfect breakfast spot. They had a few items to choose from but I opted for Arroz Caldo (chicken rice porridge). I’m telling you it tasted like home. I can’t say anything else to top that but to go and try them…they’re good! 😋👍🏼
Friendly service and fantastic food. One of the best food I’ve ever had at an airport. I love that chicken adobo was offered as an option during breakfast hours.

Saw a review saying this was the best airport food they’ve had so I had to try. It did not disappoint. So good! It was $25 for this plate, but that’s not unexpected for airport food. I’m very happy to have found such yummy food during a layover!
Delicious food! as a vegan, it was the very first time I had a fulfilling meal at an airport and was absolutely worth it! ordered a 1 entrée combo with rice noodles + veggie stir fry and spring roll, everything was savory and service was excellent! definitely will eat here again in my next arrival at SFO! 🌱💖
I had the pork and the chicken adobo. The pork was excellent! The chicken was very good also, but my favorite was the pork. Really good food for an airport stand. I thought I was eating in a nice restaurant. Thanks for making my 7 hour delay more tolerable.
The breakfast surely can't be what people are raving about. The eggs are unseasoned and taste like they were baked in a huge tray. The garlic fried rice was pretty bland.. Basically just white rice with some minced garlic mixed in. The sausage is pretty good though, I would get that again. And the spam... Well it is spam.. Maybe I'll try one of their other dishes some other time.
I would’ve given it 5-stars, but some rude old guy who works the counter asked me why am I showing my Military ID? He brushed it off and never gave me my military discount! So much for “thanks for your service” no support whatsoever! 😔 On a lighter note, the bento plate, the cutlery and everything else is eco-friendly! And the food tastes authentic and delicious! 💕
Mama Go’s is a great option to grab something in terminal one. I like Philippine food, but there are few restaurants around. The lumpia in particular are very good and not too overpriced by airport standards. But some of the dishes are a little bit pricey, but that’s to be expected from the airport. Most of the food is already made, which has the advantage of speed but the disadvantage of freshness. I would like to try this if it were a real restaurant, and made to order.

Honestly your best bet at the airport. It is very good for airport food. We got 2 mains the chicken adobo and the pork. Both were tasty and tender. Downside is both were very heavy and oily.

The food is expensive and the prices were not clear on their store menu board. I ordered a 2-entree meal for supposedly $18.99 but my bill was $26.41. Ordered noodles, kalderete, bicol express and 1 small siomai and onion soup. Unknowingly, the kaldereta has an up charge of $2, bicol express has an up charge of $1 and noodles has an up charge of $1. The onion soup, kaldereta and bicol express were good, the noodles was just ok and siomai was not good.
The food was good but I'm not sure if it was an intentional or an uneducated, they charged me for a smoothie that I didn't order. When I pointed out, she said that's for a beer, which I did buy, but it's clearly stated "smoothie". When I went back with the receipt and told her that both beer and smoothies were charged, she was just "oh that!" as if she knew about it. She printed out a new receipt and told me that's the new one without smoothie, but it doesn't show my original payment was cancelled, just like another payment was made. I don't think it was coincident but trying to get away with it because people are coming in and go. I'll claim this on my credit card.
The plastic lid of the boba cup breaks off in super sharp piece into the drink. There were two sharp pieces I sucked into my mouth through wide boba straw and needed to spit out. Can be very DANGEROUS for kids or elderly!!! This is a reportable issue that the store owner should take it seriously.
