We had to come back to Mustards Bar & Grill after such a great experience the last time-and it absolutely delivered again. We had about two hours between flights, and once again Darko took amazing care of us. Just like before, he made sure everything was spot on from start to finish. We started with the smoked chicken wings, which are honestly to die for. My wife confirmed they're the best wings we've ever had—no exaggeration. We also had the smoked chicken chop salad and the ½-Ib burger, and both were outstanding. Huge thank you to Darko and the entire Mustards Bar & Grill team for consistently great food and service. Happy New Year-we'll definitely be back on our next trip through SFO!

Who gets restaurant quality food and service at an airport??!!! This place is crazy good! Loved the table service, with smiles all round. The chicken nibbles are delicious especially with the dipping sauces. The fish and chips are super fresh and not overcooked. Yummy slaw. Super relaxed vibe, even though it's super busy outside. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

My server Vital was awesome, such a friendly man that really made my experience more than the subpar surface level like you get at most airport restaurants. Food was good too, the big fat yellow heirloom tomato on my burger and handmade pickles really elevated my meal. Loud enough in the restaurant to make a phone call without disrupting my neighbors but not so loud that I couldn’t hear the other end. Visited here many times on a flight out of the country and it’s never disappointed. But this evening was the best.

One nice thing about a long layover is getting to eat at a leisurely pace. Food was great, but I'd order the onion rings again only if I've got 4 or 5 people to share them with. My server, Linda, is a rock star.

I had a dinner at the Mustards Bar and Grill. The food is amazing. I had a fish and chips with fries on the side everything is so delicious and hot. My server Marifi was superb every 10 minutes she always check on me make sure everything went well. That kind of server that you want. I will definitely eat here again. I recommend this restaurant if you’re flying to San Francisco International.

Excellent Food and Service! Perfect for a Quick Stop Before a Flight! We had 35 minutes before our flight and decided to grab a quick bite at the International terminal. The food was great, and the service was even better. Our server, Vital, was incredibly efficient and attentive, he made sure we got our food fast and still had time to enjoy it, all within our tight timeframe. Thanks so much, Vital, for your help!

Usually, restaurants located in an airport tend to be just average or mediocre at best, but Mustards Grill truly changed my mind about that perception. The burger I had was exceptionally tasty, and the fries were absolutely excellent. Moreover, the grilled salmon salad was nothing short of outstanding. Now, I must say, the ice cream is made in-house, and if you have the chance, you simply must try it! The servers were not only friendly but also attentive, and the prices were quite decent for the quality of food provided.

Surprisingly pleasant experience and the food quality. Our domestic flight has been moved to the international terminal and we came across Mustard’s looking for a safe place to eat due to medical restrictions. After seeing the appalling reviews given to other food places at this airport, I was skeptical but this location proved me wrong. We got welcomed and seated promptly and got menus and waters quickly. Our waitress was very nice and answered all our questions. Food was great: onion rings could have benefited from a bit of salt but for the rest, both breakfast sandwich and salmon BLT were generous, delicious and fresh. Both service and waiting for food were fast and I got a box and utensils for my leftovers which happened to be a lot. I haven’t expected such generous portions. The only thing I would have improved is giving customers their receipts before they are prompted to pay. We were told the total amount but not shown what exactly we’re paying for until I opted for texting the receipt to my cellphone. The rest was awesome and I highly recommend Mustard’s if you like freshly cooked quality food.

The food was great and I really enjoyed the taste of the meal in my mouth, I could feal the flavor of the grill. So I’m rating this very good. On the other hand, I ordered a drink - coke. To be honest when I took a sip I was expecting some sort of normal coke but to my suprise I could taste the flavor of chlor and you really don’t want to have drink what taste like pool. However from the whole perspective I would recommend the visit for experience.

We were delayed in San Fran airport while transiting and Vital P was great! Fantastic service and so kind to our toddler. Lovely wine and decent food inside the airport. Thank you again, Vital!

Service: Vital P. was a very good server, and a Navy veteran. He was attentive, polite, and very personable. The other servers looked upset to be working, but Vital was great and I never felt rushed to finish my meal and leave. Food: Though pricey, the food is well made and tasted wonderful. I had the fish and chips, and even the tartar sauce tasted homemade. Atmosphere: Pleasant and buzzing with customers. Military discount was a plus, so I used my discount to give Vital a generous tip.

For an airport restaurant, the food is quite good, but the service is suboptimal. Don’t come for food of you’re in a rush, because you will not get out in time. The fish and chips are good but the fish portion is not that big. The salmon BLT is very good - good quality, substantial, solid flavor. I opted for the side salad instead of fries, which was much bigger than expected. Highly recommend getting the shoestring onion rings, but only if you’re bigger than a table of 2. It’s deceivingly large and way too much for two people to enjoy. One call out - DO NOT GET THE ICE CREAM. We asked three separate waiters the flavors and received three different answers (I should have stopped there). We ordered vanilla, and let me tell you, it was NOT vanilla. IT WAS BANANA. Thankfully I like banana flavored ice cream, but not the surprise I was looking for.

During a recent layover in San Francisco, we decided to stop by Mustard Grill, and it was a delightful experience. We opted for the fish and chips to share, and it was a fantastic choice. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a light, crispy batter that complemented the tender fish inside. What really stood out was the paired mini salad that came along with it; it added a refreshing touch to the meal, balancing the richness of the fish and chips. Overall, Mustard Grill was a great spot to grab a bite, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through!

I liked that the burger didn’t automatically come with the garnishes and sauces. I was able to pick which veggies I wanted to add to my burger — while most other restaurants just assume you want everything in it. Also, if you have a priority pass you get 28 USD in credit when dining here and using your pass. They sometimes do not accept priority pass from credit card providers though. Overall a good dining experience.

They had no wings, no ribs, no smoked foods. The chicken in their chopped salad was cold and hard, the avocado toast was horrendous. Waste of money. The only thing they could get right were the French fries and a decent lamb burger. Never coming back here again. Horrible food.

Be aware that all sales are subject to a 5% employee benefits surcharge. The waitress didn't give me the bill to review ahead of time. She just shoved the machine in front of my face so I ended up over tipping. It didn't help that the lowest present was for 18% after taxes and fees. Don't let the prices on the menu fool you. My entree with no drink ended up costing me $34 after taxes, fees and tip. I like how the bill has recommended amounts/percentages but the point is defeated if the bill isn't presented. Also, if management really is recommending 7% in addition to the existing 5%, why does the credit card machine start with an 18% number? I took a star off for that. The fish and chips sat next to the salad which ended up in soggy fish. I accidentally dropped some fries but someone from the wait staff cleaned it up almost immediately. Points for that! Overall I wouldn't return.

​Rating: 3/5 ​I had a mixed experience here. On the positive side, the staff is wonderful; the greeter was pleasant and seated me immediately. The restaurant has a lively, high-traffic atmosphere with a choice of bar seating, booths, or tables. ​The food, however, was a bit of a rollercoaster. I ordered the burger, which arrives for you to assemble yourself. It was fairly basic and I removed onions from my burger, but the sweet pickles were a highlight and paired perfectly with the medium-well patty. A major downside was the drink quality—the water and Sprite had a strange, soapy aftertaste. Switching to the orange soda solved the problem, but for a $35 price tag, I expected a more polished experience. Also, note that napkins aren’t provided at the table, though you can likely ask for them.
