Novella hosted a party for our group. The staff was amazing! Each member of their team went above and beyond and many of our guests commented on how great the bartenders and waiters were during our event. Very friendly and a joy to work with. Great food and drinks!!

Came on a Saturday afternoon for cocktails and light bites. Cozy- fast service and well crafted cocktails. Speakeasy library vibes. Love it. Been here a handful of times and it's always a great experience. Until next time !

Great service, cocktails and music. We arrived just before the kitchen closed but they made us a couple of yummy charcuterie boards. Our group had a fabulous time talking, dancing, and laughing all night. 💃🏽🥃

Great spot… but the food was awful. Stay away from the crab cakes and prosciutto wrapped pineapple. Horrible. Don’t eat there and you’ll be fine.

Love the library themed bar! Such a fun ambiance, customer service is great, drinks were delicious just small portions. Not a fan of the nachos, tasted like something you get from a baseball stadium. After all it’s bar food, but the quality of the food wasn’t reflective of the price. Other than that will definitely be back for drinks, cheers!

Pretty cool spot in San Francisco with Spanish an Latin vibes! Highly recommend trying the flight of punches. I think it was the best drinks on the menu my boyfriend I tried to cocktails and they were OK, but the punch was definitely their specialty! Good music and location

Great spot to hang out after work! The vibe is excellent, and the drinks are smooth and well-crafted. I tried the Espresso-Patronum (vodka, coffee liqueur, nitro cold brew) and the Mary Lennox (tequila, passion fruit, Tajín, agave, lime)—both were fantastic. The only downside was that the entrance door kept letting in cold air, making it chilly even inside. Hopefully, they can keep it closed on colder nights.

An awesome themed bar / lounge that elevates the hang out experience. Prices are slightly on the expensive side but not outrageous considering SF standards and the lovely atmosphere. Decent beer selection, better cocktails and wine menu, and a rich selection of hard liquor. The food is okay... but obviously you aren't showing up here for the food. And for the love of god, please add french fries to your menu.

Charming place; not too loud. Great place for a cocktail night. They have tasty cocktails but their menu lacks fresh vegetable-heavy cocktail options. Delicious fries!

Fun environment with good seating / lounging, heads up there is fairly loud music. Good cocktails, with a wide selection of base spirits. They also have what looks like a decent amount of food options. Reasonable prices for SF. Service is quite slow - took over 15m to get a waiter both times I wanted to order a cocktail.

Great place that we were recommended to, and excited to try. It was challenging to get a table - they hold a lot for reservations, so there was some communication roadblocks but we finally figured it out. Drink menu looks amazing - try the punch flight! - but be careful if you’re actually gluten-intolerant or celiac. We ordered the charcuterie board - it’s marked as gf on the menu - and through a quick side conversation question with our waitperson, found out that the toast that comes with it is NOT gluten free! Thank god we asked or he would’ve been mighty sick! The chicken sliders are absolutely amazing (not gf, but that’s ok for me!) and I could’ve eaten them all night!

I took a week before writing this review to ensure I had fully collected my thoughts and could present an accurate account of my experience. I paid over $900 for a Super Bowl table (Brock Purdy package) that was advertised as having “the best view of the largest projector.” We arrived at 1:30 p.m., the stated door-opening time, and were the first guests there. However, the doors did not open until approximately 2:15 p.m. When we were finally admitted, the hostess—who later identified herself as the head manager—escorted us to a corner table with absolutely no view of the projector. I declined to sit there, given that the table I purchased was explicitly marketed as having the best view. She informed me that I had no choice and was dismissive of the fact that I had paid $900 for a premium viewing experience. It was only after I stated that I expected the table as advertised, or I would pursue legal action, that another manager intervened and reassigned us to a table directly in front of the projector. Additionally, the table packages were sold as including food. At no point during the sales process was it disclosed that there would be a highly limited “Super Bowl menu” in place that day. When I raised this concern with the hostess/head manager, her response was that I should have known this and implied that I must not be from San Francisco. I found this response unprofessional and inappropriate. After careful consideration, I filed a small claims action against Novela today. I stand by my experience and would not recommend this establishment—particularly for a Super Bowl event.
