Beautiful, aesthetic space, lovely service, excellent drinks and the food by Om Sabor was absolutely out of this world. The best salad, floutas, and Korean BBQ wings were 10/10 but the saffron paella dish with vegan chicken was the showstopper. We got our minds blown and will be back soon!

I wouldn't have ordered the clam chowder if left to my own devices, but I'm so glad it happened. It was rich without being overly heavy and chock-full of diced veggies and tender mushrooms. The wedge salad was a nice, cold, crispy-fresh offset to the hot chowder; I'd be happy with these two as my complete meal. The potatoes gratin with crispy mushrooms was also really good, the potatoes managed to be cheesy and creamy without a distracting fake dairy flavor.

As a non vegan I’m so impressed at how delicious the food is! The clam chowder is to die for - so creamy and filling. The chicken wings are perfectly crisp and spiced. The tacos and enchiladas also hit the spot. I wasn’t missing meat or cheese at all. The cocktails are creative and tasty too. Sam is the best! He is attentive and charismatic. It’s my new favorite happy hour spot.

This is place has it all - awesome vibe, food, drink, and such good music. Especially love Om Sabor in the kitchen. They have a delicious and inventive menu - the crab cakes are a MUST, one of the best dishes in San Francisco! The cocktails are delish and creative, the bartenders are as good as they get. Love this spot for date night or just to hang out

Perfect place for brunch on Sundays! Kitchen opens until 6 pm and Chef Dhani was so friendly. The food is all vegan and extremely delicious, we ate the arepas, chilaquiles (spicy), and fruit danish. We went for cocktails last weekend and had the watermelon cocktail on tap and a gin cocktail. Perfect for dates and a small room in the back for dancing to soul/funk music. Honestly everyone who works there are exceptionally friendly, including the bouncer, bartenders, chefs and servers!

Nice place, to have drink and dance. They have a small club like place with tables for the people who want to dance and drink. Most of the time I feel they have small space but ultimately you will get chair to sit and drink. Good drink menus and snacks.

I absolutely LOVE when I can write a good review. I am decidedly NOT vegan. Walked into this place by mistake and loved everything I ordered. I don't know how long it will be on the menu, but you must try the mac and cheese croquettes. I also had the tacos from the happy hour menu. I don't like mushrooms, but these were excellent. This place is not solely for vegans. It's for everyone and anyone who likes good food and good vibes. Drinkwise, I had the Bad Apple. Perfect for the day after being caught in the dreary rain. Also, Sam was wonderful! Thank you for making my night! 💙 10/10 would recommend!

We had watched the ballet down the street at the War Memorial and went to a nearby restaurant for dinner that didn’t offer dessert. We walked over here to grab dessert and I can say that it was phenomenal! I wish we had also come here for dinner because the food we saw being served looked amazing! This is a restaurant that caters to vegan/vegetarian pallets so I was very pleased with what we ordered. We sat at the bar and our server was very friendly. I will be coming back here to eat dinner in the future!

Great spot, especially before a show at Bill Graham! I visited for the second time a couple weeks ago before a show. I love their menu, especially with everything being vegan/vegetarian. I highly recommend their hibiscus tacos. Other than hibiscus tea, I've never otherwise been exposed to hibiscus as a food. These were fantastic. It had a great texture and was super flavorful. Their fries were also great! My next recommendation would also be the flautas! Nice crispy outside with the soy chorizo on the inside. As for drinks, I cannot remember what I grabbed but both were delicious. For what it is, I think the prices are very reasonable, especially being vegan/vegetarian in the city. I'll definitely be coming back before a show at Bill Graham!

Mohammed is the best waiter and host. Staff miscommunication meant there was no room for my planned group of 20 people for my birthday. Instead of relegating us to the standing outdoor smoking area like one manager proposed, he made sure we had two large tables outside, and was patient and accommodating with a large mixed party splitting the bill. Food and drinks were excellent. Vibes could have been better if we were inside, but we were all happy to be there together. The only negative about outside is it's by a busy street with loud cars and impatient drivers. But that's not Phonobar's fault.

Fun and upbeat vegan spot. Service is fast, but as it gets busier it can get harder to track a server down or get a spot to sit. It is on the louder side and pretty dark - best for dates or a dinner with friends. Food is great and sharable. Many things come in portions of 3. Their menu typically changes seasonally. My favorite dish currently is the chicken paella skewers, followed by the flautas and tostadas. The Korean BBQ cauliflower wings were ok - texture and flavor could be improved. Nachos were yum but would be better if the toppings were more evenly spread. Allergens are mostly labeled well. One desert was labeled as nut free but had almonds. However, the servers and kitchen staff are informed and knowledgeable - never had an issue.

Service: The waiter was very polite and warm. He checked on us multiple times and provided great recommendations based on our appetite, and interests. Food: super tasty, and good in quantity. It's all Vegan, and all the items we tried were nice! Ambience: A little dark colored theme but overall a friendly and warm.

Cute bar in Hayes with an interesting selection of cocktails & vegan food (apparently it’s a pop-up)! Love that they have daily happy hour 5-7pm, though since the venue is kinda tight sometimes it’s a bit hard to find seating.

Great vibe lounge bar. Vegan food menu is pretty good, cocktails are good. Stay or go after 9pm on Friday and Saturday for Dj’s spin. Music is mostly house chill vibe.

We asked a nice table nearby for their unused chair, and when my friend sat down the server came in and said “you can’t just take that without asking!” And basically grabbed the chair from under him. Ok, but we DID ask, and other tables had obviously done the same thing so im not sure why we’re the only ones they enforced that rule on. FWIW, our group was the only non-white table in that room, we were sober & weren’t being loud. Other reviewers have reported biased treatment, idk if that happened here too. I could tell the server after that was actually trying to be nicer, but was still being short with us most of the time. The food was pretty solid for veg, but the drinks were just ok. Now here’s where I messed up - I’m new to bar culture and i brought in an outside (alcoholic) drink. I had no idea that was against the rules, so that was actually my bad. The server saw it, confiscated it, and then cut us off in a really belittling way. We understood we disrespected them by doing this so we didn’t fight it. But while I was signing the check he was hovering around us and staring, kinda like he was making sure I was still gonna tip. It was overall very uncomfortable. The reason I’m leaving this review is when we got up to leave, I went to him to say sorry and he straight-up mocked it back to me. Super weird when I feel like we didn’t do enough to warrant that response and had been compliant with them all night. The vibes are off & there are better vegetarian spots. And I’ll make sure to never bring outside drinks to a bar, haha.

interesting layout that reminded me of a train car almost. the food provided by im sabor was delicious but the well cocktails were okay. however, the service here was so bad. i needed to call for someone over 4 times and was ignored on multiple occasions. saw that others seated after us were attended to first. it kind of ruined the experience for me. would be 4 star otherwise loaded mac and cheese: you don’t even realize it’s vegan since the flavor is still rich. the jackfruit was amazing and well seasoned

My first time here with a co worker and we were taking photos together enjoying our time and I went to do a atmosphere check to share the experience of this place however there was a bartender who had been completely out of hand with much unnecessary attitude and decided to throw a hissy fit about me recording my co worker and I saying I need to ask and last time I check this is a a bar highly sociable and public place. The gentleman at the bar made our first time experience not so nice and to be honest killed the vibe i wont be visiting this place after this experience. They need to hire friendlier employees not tightwads

My first time here with a co worker and we were taking photos together enjoying our time and I went to do a atmosphere check to share the experience of this place however there was a bartender who had been completely out of hand with much unnecessary attitude and decided to throw a hissy fit about me recording my co worker and I saying I need to ask and last time I check this is a a bar highly sociable and public place. The gentleman at the bar made our first time experience not so nice and to be honest killed the vibe i wont be visiting this place after this experience. They need to hire friendlier employees not tightwads

We sat at the bar and noticed two bartenders whispering while looking at us. Eventually, one of the bartenders walked up to us and asked us to move to the very end of the bar. Strangely, there was no one sitting at the bar except us. I'm unsure why this mattered and why he was so persistent. About half way through our visit, we kept seeing this man pacing around the restaurant. We would later learn he is the owner. We witnessed him belittle an employee in front of patrons for something beyond their control. It was very awkward and rather frustrating. I spoke with the employee after and was told the owner is difficult to work for. I told the employee I witnessed him pacing at which point I was told the owner micromanages to the point of intimidation. It truly sickened me. Unfortunately, I will not return to this establishment. I hope the employees find happier positions elsewhere as the atmosphere is rather underwhelming.
