Opinions de Sushi Time San Francisco
Really nice set up for a sports bar. They have some memorabilia from area soccer teams as well as Golden State Valkyries. Order your drinks at the bar and food orders on the back counter. Everything was very clean and the food delivered hot and fresh. We had the Beet burger and the smash burger. Also sampled the spiced carrots with whipped feta. Everything was good! All the televisions were on with an assortment of sports games but the main attraction is women’s sports.
Excited this is finally open! We went opening weekend and the place was packed. It was the first time they were playing the Golden State Valkyries game, and you can feel the excitement. The energy was incredible. Definitely come early to snag a table! We loved the beers on tap, especially the “Gay Crush” by Local Brewing Co. It was fresh, fruity and delicious. You order food from the back, and we were really impressed by the menu. The pear grilled cheese was incredible, and we heard the fried chicken sandwich is not to be missed. I can’t wait to watch more games here!
Rikki’s is the best women’s sports themed bar I’ve visited yet - currently on a women’s sports themed vacation along the west coast. There was lots of cool decor ranging the history of women’s sports and an ode to the namesake on one wall. People were gathering in large groups, going on early dates, working on laptops - the whole range of activities that might occur in such a place. Place was packed at 4pm on a Wednesday. smash burger and fries was delicious and there were plenty of screens to watch the WNBA match on. The bar was very busy and understaffed, but I’m assuming since it’s new they are figuring out their staffing needs and meeting the what seems to be huge demand. It’s really well located in the Castro which makes for a nice walk before or after if you’re in town as a tourist.
Rikki’s Sports Bar — A Game-Changer for Women’s Sports Fans Today we got a sneak peek at Rikki’s Sports Bar, and let us just say—it slaps. Finally, a sports bar that puts women’s sports front and center, while still keeping all your other favorite games in rotation. The vibe? Electric but welcoming. Think: stylish sports lounge meets community hangout. TVs line the walls streaming everything from local matchups to must-see national games, with a special spotlight on women’s sports. The food is next-level: no greasy baskets here. Plates. Real plates. With elevated bar fare that actually tastes like someone cared. We had a double-patty burger with a little kick—juicy, bold, and flavorful. The fries? Absolute perfection. Crispy, golden, addictive. And the drinks? As colorful as the crowd. The bar was shaking up an array of cocktails—each one unique, vibrant, and Instagram-worthy. Rikki’s isn’t just another sports bar—it’s a celebration of women’s sports, great food, and inclusive community. We’ll be back. You should too.
The best smash burger in town so far. Highly recommend to try it out if you are in the area.
Excellent food, drinks and service. I am excited to check out all the good stuff they have on their menus.
Best Mac and Cheese of my life. Service was super fast even if the place was packed. Great atmosphere watching the game, go Valkyries!
So happy this place is here! Great first visit during Pride Saturday without a local game on. Was expecting it slammed and got right in. Loved the cocktails
From the Hayes family(Dad and Tiffany) we thank you so much for your hospitality and warm welcome to us. We enjoyed it very much and we will try to make it back soon. To the Owners..KEEP IT GOING

great vibe; pear grilled cheese is amazing!
The vibes here are great! Whenever there is a game, it is packed so get here early. Also don’t sleep on the food! I absolutely recommended the pear grilled cheese (I had doubts and I was wrong) and the smash burger! The staff and owners are so nice too!
One of the best sports bars I’ve been to in SF! Lots of TVs, they post what games they’re gonna play ahead of time, and the vibes are great for watching games or hanging out. The staff is awesome, super friendly. They can make pretty much any cocktail for you and their food is spectacular. Also their restrooms are clean! 10/10 on all fronts, we’ll be back to watch more soccer!
So grateful this bar even exists. Great staff, great food, great to catch all the live sports. Huge fan and would highly recommend!
Incredible. Life changing. Safe. Home. Energized. Welcoming. And dare I say... addicting to visit? Worth the hour long drive I've been making to watch games and be in community. Rikkis is the safe haven. A blueprint for what the future of women's sports need to thrive. Visiting this bar is a must, with delicious drinks, healthy and yummy bites, and above all, impeccable ambiance. Thank you Rikkis.
Our favorite place to watch women’s sports and be in community. The food is fantastic, and so are the wine curation and cocktails.
Such a great vibe! Busy on valks game days… but always so fun and staff are awesome. Drinks at the food ordering station if it’s packed…
Awesome place to watch sports and connect with others! Steph was the greatest bar tender and their smash burger is lit
Finally chilling out during weekday games. Food is phenomenal and drinks options are great with low ABV and NA options. Weekends can still be busy during game days. Recommended to come 45 mins to an hour early on weekends!
Can't say enough good things. SF has been needing a place like this. Food, drinks, sports, hotties, community, convenience. ♥️

Love going here for Bay FC and Valkyries parties. Cocktails were just ok, but he good was great and you can’t beat the atmosphere. Really fun time!!!
Really great vibe and concept, and friendly staff! Came here to check out their smashburger which had gotten some buzz, but was a bit disappointed on the food front.

Great vibe, and wonderful to have an alternative to the deafening Hi Tops! The only disappointment is the food which seems highly hit and miss… the chicken Sammy was wildly overcooked, thin and inedibly hard (I really should have just returned it); the beet burger is a great idea but very bland and lacks texture; the fish and chips comes with this odd sauce that seems to have come out of a Kroger’s salad dressing bottle. If they can fix up the quality of the food, they’ll get repeat locals coming in on quieter nights
Update: I've never updated a review before and I sincerely hope the owners take the following feedback knowing that I truly wish nothing but success for Rikki's. Upon my last visit on a Saturday afternoon, I had an entirely different experience than my previous one. The only bartender was so overworked and alone, that when he left to replace a keg, someone was helping him take orders but couldn't make the cocktails so he had a queue of drinks to make when he finished. But also people ordering beers had to wait for the keg replacement too. The POS system y'all use does not work for bartenders. The tiny screen is not conducive to quick and efficient bar tabs. They need a big screen with quick item selections. I witnessed the person helping behind the bar struggle to find a means to input for an Aperol spritz and find beers y'all have on tap in the system. The draft beers should take 3 seconds to input, they're out on display and often ordered. The table numbers for food are quite literally 2" big and the same colors as the color scheme of the bar. The food runner did at least 2 laps around the space each time they brought out food. Including walking by our table multiple times, unable to see the teeny numbers. I will standby the fact that the smash burger is the best GD smash burger I've ever had, even when it was cold from waiting in a (no exaggeration) 20-minute line for a single beer. __________________ Initial review: No joke, and I was not expecting it but they have the BEST smash burger I've ever had in my life. I cannot stress enough how this is not an exaggeration. The place works like Hi-Tops and other sports bars, order food in the back, grab a drink at the bar, seat yourself. Very casual, thoughtfully arranged, and super friendly staff.
