Opinions de Sweet Glory San Francisco
This dessert place is on the pricier side but I like the creative flavored desserts like pandan coconut crepe cakes, or salted egg yolk croissants. My friends went crazy about crepe cakes. It is their first time trying crepe cakes so they might be too excited. Still it is a very good sweet spot with Asian/Thai flavor touch. UPDATE 11/2023: They have the durian flavor millicrepe!!! This is heavenly good if you are a durian lover. The salted egg yolk latte and guava drink are also top notched!
Such a cute dessert spot! Reminds me a of the cute Thai cafes in Thailand. They have a wide range of Mille crepe cakes and an extensive beverage menu. They have hot tea but no coffee. We got the pandan coconut chiffon cake which was very good. The corn basque cheesecake was delicious with the crunchy texture of the grilled corn. We also got the durian crepe cake which had a mild to medium durian taste. All in all, such a cute spot. Plenty of seating, Will def be back if I’m in the area.
Sometimes you just find a place that is unexpected in an unexpected neighborhood and it becomes life-altering… OK, it’s a bit dramatic, but finding this bakery in the Tenderloin changes my mind on whether it’s worth venturing into this neighborhood for a piece of cake! First off, the store is quite charming. The staff are very friendly and engaging as well. We decided to try a few things, as there is quite a bit of selection. We deliberated on the crepe cake as they aren’t cheap, about $12 per slice, so we thought “go big or go home”, so we went with the Creamy Durian Crepe Cake and the Pandan Chiffon cake, both very Asian-centric flavors. So point #1: these cakes are worth EVERY cent! The Creamy Durian isn’t some gimmick, this is almost as good as having fresh durian! The flavor is so authentic, you’d almost think you were in SE Asia eating a fresh piece of durian. It is just that good! Point #2: The Pandan Chiffon cake is no slouch either. The young coconut shreds in the cream layers and the Pandan makes for such an exotic pairing, it literally whisked me away to my time of when I lived in the Philippines. So freakin’ good! Point #3: The Cappuccino is on point and goes well with anything ordered here. This little shop offers up so many fine desserts and I only scraped the surface… I can’t wait to try everything else offered up here!
This simplistic and cute dessert cafe opened up last year in the Tenderloin. If you are looking for some incredibly delicious Asian crepe cakes, this is the place to go. They have an assortment of cakes, pastries, and toast with the Asian dessert flavors we have all come to love (if not appreciate at the very least). To be totally honest with you, I prefer Sweet Glory's crepe cakes to Lady M, which is my go to whenever I am craving crepe cakes in LA or NYC. When I first visited Sweet Glory, I ordered a slice of their Pandan Coconut Crepe Cake as well as their Taro, and Mango Crepe Cake to gift to my friend. Their Pandan Coconut Crepe Cake was so delicious! The crepe cake was light and easy to cut through with a fork and paired really well with the creamy coconut sauce that came with it. The sauce is lightly sweet and contains slices of coconut meat. 10/10 would order again. For those of you who are not familiar with pandan, it is essentially a tropical Asian plant and has a very light grassy, vanilla and coconut taste. The last time I went, I tried their Balsamic Strawberry Vanilla Mille Crepe Cake. I cannot rave enough about how much I love their crepe cakes. The crepe cakes are quite delicate and not too sweet. I love how they give you a little pitcher to drizzle sauce on top of some of their crepe cakes as well. I have not tried the other desserts they offer but will definitely get to them at some point. The staff at Sweet Glory were super sweet and kept the remaining crepe cake slices chilled till I was ready to leave the cafe. As you may see in other people's reviews about Sweet Glory, this dessert shop is located right in the Tenderloin. The Tenderloin is an interesting area rich with art and history but it is also important to note that it is a rougher part of SF. So, there is a high chance that you will see homeless people in this area. I recommend that if you are not familiar with the city that you take an Uber or have someone drop you off at this dessert cafe rather than to walk over. I do want to recognize that the city has made efforts to make people feel safer touring the city through organizations like Urban Alchemy.
We went on a Sat around noon. It got packed pretty fast around 1pm. We got the taro crepe cake, sweet corn basque cheesecake, passion fruit sparkling drink, and rose sparkling drink. They were all so amazing!!! So flavorful and not too sweet! <-You know this is the best compliment you can give to a dessert! Both taro and sweet corn were rich yet not overwhelming. I loved the softness of the taro crepe cake and creamy basque cheesecake with a kick of sweet corn on every bite. I will come back again to try other flavors. Wish there was a store in South Bay..🙏
I am truly delighted to have discovered the delectable cream puffs at this establishment. They are undoubtedly the finest I have ever tasted in the San Francisco Bay Area. One box is simply not enough to satisfy my cravings. The Sweet Glory is crafted to perfection, striking a harmonious balance of sweetness, creaminess, and fluffy, soft dough. Every bite is an exquisite experience, as the flavors and textures melt in my mouth. Furthermore, this establishment offers an impressive variety of crepe cakes and the finest espresso. The ambiance of the cafe is charming and relaxing, providing a welcome respite in the Tenderloin area.
We've been to their Tenderloin store and their desserts are so delicious that we had to come and try it again. And this one is even better because the shop is much bigger with more seating space and the surrounding is much more pleasant. The only disappointment was that we didn't come early enough to try all the flavors that we wanted because they were sold out. We will definitely come back again EARLIER!
Absolutely in love with this place. Everything about it is perfect - the cozy vibe, the delicious desserts, the coffee, the matcha - everything. But what truly makes it special are the girls who work here. They’re always so kind, welcoming, and just radiate good energy. It feels like a little pocket of joy every time I visit. Love them (and this café) with all my heart. 💛
Just perfect. The ones I tried so far: strawberry, tiramisu, cookies & cream (oreos), and mango. The mango one is by far the best cake I’ve tried in my life. Their crepe cakes are not too heavy nor too sugary like most cakes and they’re all so fresh and light. I’m in love! The banana bread is also amazing and in a perfect cute little size. Coffee is also at the same level of perfection as their cakes. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. I love the overall vibe inside. They don’t have much tables but for a tiny little space, it’s just right. This by far is my top 1 cafe, beating Maison Danel as my top 2 which is just few blocks from each other. I definitely will come back.
Cute cafe with desserts and pastries. I came here for an afternoon pick me up and a slice of crepe cake. There were many flavors of cake to choose from that I had trouble deciding. I ended up getting the pandan coconut Mille crepe cake and a hot americano black to pair with it. The crepe cakes are $10 each which is standard compared to Lady M Cakes. The coconut paired with pandan was amazing, not too sweet, creamy, and layered perfectly. Paired with the black coffee, chefs kiss. Check this cute place out!
Tasty desserts in a nice cafe. This dessert cafe is small, but has enough seating. The prices are kind of high and it doesn't quite fit in to the neighborhood, because it's a more modern-looking place, designed for social media. There are seats and tables indoor and outdoors, and aesthetic objects and plants. The desserts are fairly priced, in my opinion. Their pastries are less expensive than the crepe cakes, if you'd like something more affordable. There is a restroom which also functions as a storage room. The staff were very welcoming. I had a slice of Earl Grey Mille Crepe Cake and it was sweetened just enough. It looked nice and tasted great. The Earl Grey flavor wasn't very strong. My total was $10.86 after tax. I was told by one of the staff that their food is made fresh daily. Overall, I recommend checking out this cafe. Everything is pleasant.
Amazing service!!! Every employee is really nice! 😊 the first impression is when I went in the smell really takes you in and makes you eat every bread. I tried the cream danish and literally its a amazing and melts in your mouth. The taro crepe cake and the strawberry one are amazing!! The crepe cakes are a little bit expensive $12 each bit worth it. The drinks are big and good price. The ambience is nice and relaxing. The place is small and parking not very available.
Found this cute place on Yelp, the cake shop is in a convenient location on Irving & 9th with cute shop decorations and a relaxing vibe. My son and I were immediately attracted by the pandan toast on display the moment we walked in. The staff was nice friendly, and prompt in packing our order in a cute nice little box with a ribbon. We bought a slice of Tiramisu crepe cake and a Sesame basque cheese cake. The sesame cream on top of the cheese cake blends nicely inside your mouth balancing the moisture of the cheesecake when you take a bite. The sweetness of both cakes is just right, the Asian sweet which is so much healthier and lighter. The tiramisu crepe cake is soft and each layer made ultra thin, much better than lady M. I would definitely visit the shop again to get the Milo crepe cake.
This is such a great addition to the neighborhood! I had the taro crepe cake and it was so light and soft, not too sweet, with chunks of taro in between the layers. Now I want to try every kind of crepe cake they have! The space in the shop itself is very nice. It’s also very spacious, there’s a back room and a cute back patio! I’m looking forward to returning, go support this business!
I had such a delightful experience at Sweet Glory! The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I tried the Dubai Crepe Cake paired with a hot Hojicha made with oat milk (great non-dairy option), and both were absolutely delicious—highly recommend them! The café is beautifully decorated, and with the current Christmas theme, it feels extra cozy and festive. They also have a charming patio in the back, perfect for hosting small gatherings of up to 30 people. It’s a wonderful spot for a relaxed dessert outing or even a mini celebration. I will definitely be returning soon!
The pastries are beautifully made, light, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality in every bite. Their mille crepe cakes are the standout for me: delicate layers, balanced sweetness, and really unique flavors you don’t find everywhere.
Sweet glory is a really cute dessert place! I really enjoy their basque cheesecakes but they can be a bit pricey. Parking can also be difficult to find. However, the dessert are very tasty and it's definitely worth checking out!
i'm obsessed with the passionfruit crepe cake!! it is so well balanced re: tartness and sweetness. big back section and cute interior! i wish they'd stay open later for post-dinner dessert. keep your eyes peeled for cozy cubs puzzle club word games!
Their crepe cakes are to die for!! I’ve tried the hazelnut chocolate and the balsamic strawberry one and both are absolutely delicious!! I also love their chrysanthemum herbal tea. Their customer service has also been outstanding every time I’ve been. One of my favorite dessert spots in the city!
Beautiful cakes and amazing drinks! Starting off with the drinks, I had the Iced Matcha Latte, Iced Hojicha Latte, and Iced Salted Egg Yolk Latte. The matcha was a nice, vibrant green and tasted lightly sweet. The hojicha also tasted high quality; rich and nutty. Lastly, the salted egg yolk latte was intriguing that we had to try it. Needless to say, it was such a great latte and nothing like I've ever tried before. I highly recommend it! We tried 3 cakes: pandan and coconut chiffon, caramel biscoff cookie mille crepe and corn basque cheesecake. The pandas coconut chiffon was light and you can individually taste all the flavors in the cake. The biscoff crepe was rich and sweet; highly recommend this to biscoff cookie lovers. The center cheesecake blew our minds away. The corn mixed in the cheesecake was truly superb and the whipped cream was infused in the corn flavor as well. Our last pick but ended up being our favorite out of all the cakes. I'd love to try the Milo Mille Crepe next time! There are actually more seatings inside if you keep walking towards the back. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Such a gem here in the sunset!
What a thrill to find this place! The crepe cake tastes very heavenly and was made beaitifully. I had the biscoff cookie cake and my mouth was on cloud nine. The ambience and the store was very warm and the whole atmosphere was cute and warm. I highly recommend the oolong tea in a pot as it was very delicious and was indeed a great pairing with the bow off cake. Also another plus was all of the staff was very friendly and warm and super accommodating, the place has very minimalist design that makes it perfect for a great way to give yourself a nice treat or treat your loved ones to a delicious treat on the weekend.
What a hidden gem! This spot is perfect for anyone looking for unique flavors and a quiet atmosphere. The Pandan crepe cake is a must-try—absolutely delicious and pairs beautifully with their Genmaicha. I loved the serene vibe and the adorable back patio. It's the perfect hidden escape for a tea break!
I loved this place. Go straight behind the shop and sit by the porch, it has an awesome ambience while you’re enjoying your cake and drinks. I had ube cake and hot matcha green tea. Perfect combination to me! I can’t wait to go back and try other cakes!
We stumbled upon this sweet spot by chance when walking to the Golden Gate park and automatically drawn by their Pandan Mille Crepe Cake picture out front. We shared one slice and it did not disappoint for sure - not too sweet, the right doze of creamy and fragrant pandan. They also serve it with coconut milk which took it to the next level! We ordered the salted egg yolk latte which was the perfect companion. Quite on the pricier side but worth it. The space look simple from the outside but it also had ample of space in the back and had a great outdoor patio & garden too!
Visited Sweet Glory for a quiet dessert break. I ordered a pot of osmanthus tea. It was served in a glass teapot and felt like something you slowly sip rather than rush. Tried the mille crepe cakes — Black Forest, passion fruit, and Japanese sesame. The crepe layers were thin and soft, and the cakes weren’t overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The Black Forest had a nice balance of chocolate and cream, the passion fruit added a gentle tang, and the Japanese sesame had a subtle nutty flavor that felt unique and not too heavy, slightly on a sweeter side. The place itself is calm and cozy, good for sitting down, talking, or just relaxing with tea and dessert. Overall, a nice spot if you’re looking for something light, well-balanced, and not overly sugary.
Caramel Biscoff Cookie Mille Crepe Cake was delicious and fresh. Iced salted egg yolk latte was also interesting. It was recommended by the girl at the counter. The cafe has very nice decor and a lovely patio.
Cute dessert shop/cafe with a nice ambiance inside. Plenty of seating spread across the front area, a back (inside) area, and a back patio. We tried their panda coconut crepe cake and the tiramisu basque cheesecake, along with a sparkling guava drink and genmaicha drink. Everything was delicious! Overall, would highly recommend.
Gorgeous oasis with outdoor seating. Modern earthy indoor decor with light French cafe music. Not the best tiramisu crepe cake I've had but definitely good. The cream was delicious but the crepes tasted a bit stale. I will try the sesame cheesecake when I come back. I also tried the salted egg yolk latte which was delicious. Next time I would ask for it to be less sweet. So many interesting flavors of cake. Can't wait to come back! There is also a bathroom and they allow laptops during the week except Fridays.
What a delightful Café Sweet Glory is! The exterior is not well marked, yet having the address made it easy to locate The inside is absolutely clean yet welcoming at the same time. The staff are all well informed, friendly, and accommodating. On this visit I ordered to go, but I would love to come back and explore sitting indoors where it’s tastefully decorated or on the sunny patio in the back. I had a wonderful iced coffee drink ,and intend to try some of the other various offers on my next trip here. It was so hard to select just one pastry, but we went with the tiramisu crêpe cake, which we shared three ways. It was deliciously rich yet light.
I am an old customer. I have intended to come to the new shop many times but just got the chance. The atmosphere of the shop looks very good. The shop is white, airy, open, and cool. There is a cool breeze. There are four tables in the front area, enough for customers to rotate. The cake display counter is beautiful. The area in the back is spacious and there is also an outdoor area. We ordered a piece of cake each and a glass of drink each. We sat and talked for a while. I am very happy that the shop has grown so well. I will find time to eat often.
The pandan toast and the creme brulee toast are my weakness at Sweet Glory! So delicious, not too sweet, perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The matcha and hojicha latte are solid as well. I wish they kept making the mini croissants they used to in their previous location (but the crepe cakes are good as well)! The service is great and very friendly.
Sweet Glory SF is next-level dessert heaven! I stopped in recently and was blown away by the quality and creativity of everything I tried. The cappuccino was expertly made—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they care about the craft. I couldn’t resist the Madagascar Bourbon Brûlée Basque Cheesecake, and it completely lived up to the name. Creamy, caramelized, and infused with a deep bourbon vanilla flavor that was warm and luxurious in every bite. The brûlée topping added a gorgeous crunch that made it feel extra indulgent. And then came the Pineapple Guava Paradise—light, refreshing, and full of bright tropical flavor. The pineapple and guava paired beautifully, striking the perfect balance between tart and sweet. With a cozy vibe and kind, friendly staff, Sweet Glory SF is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. A must-visit for dessert lovers and coffee fans alike.
one of my favorite spots in the city for good drinks, service, food, and atmosphere! i love their honey citron iced tea, it comes with candied oranges. the staff are always friendly and attentive, and the cakes are sooo cute. be warned they are a little pricey for a slice but worth it if you want the experience! the hot tea we ordered came in a cute glass pot and mug. there’s a large back room with more seating and outdoor patio. we will definitely be back to try more of the menu options!
A good stable pastry spot in the city! I’ve known them since their Larkin days, and I’m so happy they’ve grown into such a cozy and elegant space 💛 The staff were very kind and informative. The interior was stunning — warm tones, classic decor, perfect for a quiet chat or catch-up. They’re one of my favorite crepe cake spots in the Bay! The cream is super light, and the cakes I had weren’t too sweet (yay!). Their drinks lean a bit sweeter though, just a heads-up if you like milder options. One thing I love is that they don’t allow computers on weekends — it keeps the space feeling more like a proper afternoon tea destination than a co-working café 🫶 Definitely recommend as a cute “sister” spot for tea dates or peaceful dessert time!
Ordered a Cookies and Cream 1000 Layer Crepe Cake and Everyone loved it. Their cheesecakes look amazing…. That will have to be my next order.

I had a life changing black sesame cheesecake here. Paired with their hojicha latte? Nothing better. The presentation is beautiful, and the space is cozy and charming. Plenty of seating. I’ll be dreaming of this place now!

I actually rarely came to tenderloin, but heard the " homeless tents cleaned up or no funding project" before election so I came. I have to say the cake is so good especially the taro cake, but the whole bakery is so messy and even the toilet is quite scary. And half of the place was storage and look so bad. The staff somehow look always in a bad mood but well mannered, so I guess she's just naturally serious face. What a pity for the quality of the dessert.
Got three slices, hazelnut chocolate and Taro, both Mille Crepe. One additional slice was Pandan Basque Cheesecake. I thought the pandan was really good! Unfortunately, I both Mille I felt the crepe layers had too much texture but not in a very tasty way. The bear candles were very cute!
very cute dessert shop in a bustling area! me and my friends went in for the crepe cakes and drinks and it was a nice place to sit down and talk to friends. i will say that their prices are a bit on the pricy end for crepe cakes ($12 for one piece), but ended up being more filling than we expected for our drinks, we recommend the passionfruit refresher the most. it zaps you a bit with it’s fizziness and is tasty. the pineapple guava paradise was okay, and we didn’t really like the thai tea w/ lemonade. for cakes, we recommend the pandan coconut mille crepe cake. very flavorful and yummy! the tiramisu is standard tiramisu and i had looked forward to the earl grey, but it was the least flavorful of them all and very light in flavor. the atmosphere is very nice as you can be seated near the window, inside, or at their outside garden & it’s nice for pictures! overall, would recommend but would probably try out some other cafes next time
Super cute location, there are 3 different "spaces", with different décor, so take your pick! All the crepe cakes look super good, I tried the Tiramisu one, it has a very unique texture and full of flavor. All the cakes are made fresh at the store, you can even watch them making through the front window. Weekdays are pretty chill, give it a try!

The environment of this café is quite nice — very clean and chill. We ordered the matcha mille crepe cake, Thai tea, and lychee fruit tea. The cake costs $13 per slice, which is about the same price as Lady M, but the quality was just average — not particularly impressive, so it felt a bit overpriced. As for the drinks, they were okay and easy to drink, but my friend thought the Thai tea was a bit too sweet. Overall, it’s not bad, but definitely a bit overpriced. If the prices were more reasonable, it would be perfect. Also, something to note: from Friday to Sunday, laptops are not allowed in the café, so it’s not a good spot for working on weekends.
