Not shown in this picture but I can safely say the brigadeiro (chocolate ball) and pão de queijo (cheese bread/gluten free) is consistently on point 😋. Definitely worth trying.

Delicious pão de queijo, absolutely demolished it. Clean and nice interior. They not only offer Brazilian pastries and food but also have Brazilian products ranging from biscuits to hot sauces. Coffee paired with their pastries 👌

I love this place! My favorite combo is the Carioca smoothie with pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). Miguel and the entire staff are always so nice. I’m really rooting for this place!

As a Brazilian I can say this is, no doubt, the best açaí I’ve had in the US! Love it!!

Just popped in while my car got smogged, but this was hands down the best coffee I've ever had. It was deep with flavor and very smooth coffee! Got the crepe pops and they were delicious! Highly recommend for a quick pick me up and snack.

I want to speak to my catering experience with The Brazilian Spot. I asked if they'd cater my daughter's birthday party because her request was acai bowls. They helped me plan how I could have an acai bowl party, calculated the amount per person, and gave me the needed supplies like a portable cooler that kept the acai at the perfect temperature. They also provided trays of cheese bread and other supplemental food and provided correct instruction for how to reheat and serve. They were all delicious. They were so flexible and helpful so want to recommend them if you're considering catering!

Very friendly place ,amazing staff, Brazilian foods ,Friday to Sunday Brazilian buffet ,pet friendly , the owner ( Miguel) 100% gay friendly, Internet, space to work and read

The cheese bread here is the real deal. Absolutely perfect. I’ve chased it at a couple other Brazilian places, and I’m always disappointed enough that I start doubting my memory, thinking “maybe Il the one I had in Brazil wasn’t all that delicious. Maybe I’m making up that experience of a perfect warm doughy bite” enter the Brazilian spot, reassuring me that the cheesy bread of my memory can be a reality in my waking world.

A
Ana Oseguera

We got the empanadas a croqueta de pollo, a slice of carrot cake, and a plate of the buffet. Oh, and these little balls made out of yuca and stuffed with cheese. It's small but you can sit inside and they also have Brazilian items you can buy. It's really cute and they are very nice.

Vika Arand

Just had a coxinha from this place and it was amazing!!!! Sooooo good. The dough was soft and buttery yet crunchy on the outside. Whatever the chicken and cream cheese mixture that was inside was heavenly. Highly recommend getting yourself one of these puppies. Will be going back.

Well, if you want Brazilian style pastries, cheese balls and even a buffet on weekends, there is no better place in the mission. I personally love the acai bowl...

M

Amazing spot. Miguel is so kind and welcoming! The pão de queijo is gluten-free and delicious, as are the açai bowls (sem granola). Wish I still lived in San Francisco so I could come here more often!

(Brazilian here) Their pão de queijo, açaí and carrot cake are to die for. I highly recommend. Make yourself a favor and buy their homemade pão de queijo to bake at home too. The staff is also so kind and sweet!

Quickly becoming my favorite place for a quick lunch!!! Haven't even tried the lunch buffet yet, but the cheese bread, coxinha, acaii bowls etc are SO good. I'm seriously so obsessed Update: Have now been a few times for the lunch buffet too. There's not the most seating so I selfishly don't want it to blow up but the other day a college student polled me for my favorite neighborhood spot for some paper and this was so immediately it

Incredible food, service, and vibe! Acai bowl is the best I've ever had, highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and all speak English and Portuguese which shows authenticity! Food was fairly priced and delicious.

I enjoyed the cheese bread here. This was my first time trying Brazilian cheese bread and it’s very tasty. Had the ham and cheese little sandwich and they were good. We also tried the chicken one and it was good. The coffee was good, nothing memorable but good. I had a fresh squeeze orange juice to a company my sandwich. I do recommend for a light snack, breakfast, brunch. Now I think I rather have one of these over ham croissants.

J

Best açaí place in SF! This place is so cute and inviting. It’s been on my list, so I went on the weekend after a workout class. I ordered the Favela bowl without bananas and with agave drizzle rather than condensed milk and dined in. With the first bite, I knew this place was legit. Only one other place (Corner of Brazil in East Bay) have I gotten açaí this good and fresh. I enjoyed it very much, and each bite left me wanting more. Can’t wait to come back for another bowl and maybe a pastry or two next time!

I really like what they did with this cafe. They made it even more hospitable and there are many places to sit. The addition of the hot food buffet is a really great idea. I miss the buffet at another place on Valencia that closed down years ago. The food was really good and moderately priced for SF. I had a nice portion for about $15-16. Had rice, tri-tip and chicken stroganoff and the toppings of a little bit of a salsa and farofa was really nice too. It was a good place to sit and eat without having to have a huge crowd or to wait for staff. Like the predecessors they also have coffee and Brazilian snacks such as pão de queijo, kibe and all the good street foods of Brazil and some pantry staples available for purchase.

Paradise on earth for Brazilians living in sao Francisco. This is a small market and caffee. You can find all kinds of delicious Brazilian goods like goiabada, requeijao, bis, Bono, passatempo, Guarana, and more. There are also 'salgados' ready and frozen: coxinha, pao de queijo, kibe, etc.

Needed a great coffee show near me in San Francisco and I’m glad I came here. They have these addictive Brazilian cheese breads (pão de queijo) that are delicious. Make sure to come here when they come out fresh. They’re also home made. If you’re craving something more summer try their delicious açaí. The mission is lucky to have this coffee shop around. Owner is super friendly and welcoming.

Went in to buy a bag of tapioca starch to make pão de queijo. I was a little unsure what to get (and tempted to get another ingredient for my pantry), so I asked. The gentleman who guided me through the selection (wearing Brasil team jersey for Miguel #11) was so, so helpful and clearly excited to answer my questions. I learned a lot and bought two different cassava products at a fair price. Will have to come back for the food too - it smelled great.

BRASIL CAMPEÃO DE MUNDOOOO 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Very cool cafe with a depth of Brazilian flare that is hard not to like, from the food, to the groceries sold on the side, to the hot food (which was unfortunately not there when I was there). All those elements blend together perfectly into this quaint cafe with plenty of seating to boot. BRASIL NÚMERO 1 CAMPEÃO PENTAAAAAA 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🏆🏆🏆

I've only been to The Brazilian spot a couple times and only for the weekend buffet and feijoada. On the weekends you can get this buffet style meal and pay by the pound. I'm not sure how much my plate weighed , but I paid $30 for it and it was plenty hearty. The bean dish was too salty. This place has a few different Brazilian desserts and an assortment of imported Brazilian food goods. Come in if you want to have a taste of Brazil. Although I hear the owner is Portuguese.

Pretty good smoothie, but it's very loud here, and that doesn't make the language barrier any easier. And then they charged me for swapping an ingredient because of my diet.

it’s unfortunately just okay. I was lucky enough to get cheese bread fresh out of the oven - for $2, this was incredible. I wish I had gotten 2! I also tried the coxinha and quibe (fried dumplings). the chicken one was good, but not great. the beef was not my favorite. both weren’t warm enough. I’d say worth going for just the cheese bread if you can get them fresh. my friends said they tried the coffee & smoothies and weren’t impressed.

The place is nice and comfortable, thr service is good, fast and clean, but the food wasn't good, thr coxinha was hard and tasteless, others stuff that we tried was like the same, but what really impressed us was the price, 6.25 a coxinha and other types was too much, if was fresh ok, because we understand that the location might be expensive, but not justify the price, special because the coxinha was hard and not fresh.

For anyone wanting to go to this place, make yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. I’m ashamed as a Brazilian, there are other places with better food. I order coxinha and pastel and both were tasteless (Brazilian food is not plain at all), the pastel was also cold and very thick. The carrot cake was hard so was definitely old, the total of my order was $23 without tip, so not cheap for what I received The staff was really nice and the place is clean. But that is not what customers go there for.
