Unexpected sampling of dessert and muffin at the end of our meal and opportunity to meet he head chef. WONDERFUL experience will.return to try other dishes.

I absolutely love The Melt! Every time I stop by, the food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. The grilled cheese sandwiches are golden and crispy, with just the right amount of gooey cheese inside — exactly what you’d hope for. The tomato soup is rich and pairs perfectly with any sandwich. The staff are always friendly and upbeat, and my order is ready quickly even when it’s busy. The place feels clean and welcoming, with that cozy vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Definitely a solid spot for a smash burger. I appreciate the option of chicken sandwiches as well for variety. The ginger beer was definitely not lacking in flavor. The amount of seating was surprising in a positive way with the additional seating on the second level.

I had an amazing experience here! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish. What truly stood out was the service. Our manager, EJ, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He checked in personally to see how we were doing and made us feel right at home. It’s rare these days to see that level of genuine hospitality, and it made the whole meal even better. If you’re looking for a place with great food, friendly staff, and a manager who truly cares about his guests, this is the spot! I’ll definitely be coming back.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. When I came to the states, this is how I imagined a burger should taste like! Fries are also delicious, and it’s honestly well priced for the quality. You can either self-serve or order from the counter. 10/10

Great for a fast comfort food option. The Parm garlic fries were fantastic. Mac and cheese sandwich was exactly what I needed for a guilty pleasure kind of meal. Staff were friendly. My bf sandwich didn't have any meat on it (a patty melt that definitely should have had some), and when he told them they gave him a free cookie and remade it on the spot.

Was there for vacation from London. At first I thought it was gonna be a place where I would regret. But the food was amazing! However the location felt sketchy. I went there two times just because the food there was great. Took a take out both times.

The Melt has such a great atmosphere bright, welcoming, and casual, perfect for grabbing a bite and hanging out. The staff here are incredibly friendly and kind, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for good vibes and great service in San Francisco

We stopped by this place for lunch yesterday. I ordered a BBQ bacon cheese burger. The burger was definitely good. With prices a bit high, I can't go too often but I will be back. Service and atmosphere was on point as well.

Had my favorite burgers here and the Google reviews aren’t even lying Got the swiss and shroom chicken burger with Caesar salad. The sweet potato fries are also awesome. Everything here is full of flavor Great place to go with groups and can also get shareable small plates like fries. Nice casual and clean vibes. They also open late!! 3 am.

The lady that served me was wonderful. She was funny and very polite. Thats rare these days! I ordered the Greens 2, which was good, but the serving was just a tad too small for the price. I paid $6.80 which is pretty average, but I just think the little plastic bottle is comes with should be bigger. I will be back for more 👍🏼 Came in 9/29/21 at around 2:20pm

Honestly really good solid basic hamburgers and grilled cheese. The thing is in San Francisco for some reason we still live like a small town. There are many places open late but you can still find the melt open at least until 3:00 a.m. in some locations. I say kudos to them for believing in the after hours business and taking advantage of all those nightwalkers

Good burger for good value. It tasted really good but I had two issues. The cheese was not really melted and bread was getting soggy and the fries were too oily, I think it's because of the parmesan garlic infused, they tasted great but the oil was too much for me. Quick service and easy to order though.

I saw some good reviews so I tried the food here, I ordered a Mac n Cheese, some fries and a lemonade. The mac tasted a bit odd but not bad, the pasta was decent. The fries were fine, nothing really special. The strawberry lemonade was good but quite small. I would have liked there to be more. Overall the food was okay, I'd eat it again. The price was more than I thought it was worth but not terribly so.

Not the best experience unfortunately, Karen was not polite to us and other customers. We asked for no blueberries on one bowl and she repeated this to us confirming the order, then still proceeded to put them on. We only realised once we left. I asked for loads of chocolate spread and payed extra for it however I got the regular amount. Disappointed as we love pressed.

The bowl was fine but the woman running the shop was clearly mad at someone. She was hostile and banging everything she set down. Generally a negative atmosphere. The young man working was normal/polite. 840AM 7/5.

I stopped by Pressed Juicery for breakfast and had a mixed experience. The service was not particularly friendly, which was a bit disappointing. However, the acai protein bowl was good, fresh and satisfying. The location is small but has everything you need for a quick, healthy stop. Pricing is average for a breakfast spot of this kind.

Came here after we couldn’t get a table for lunch at Bodega. We ordered 3 sandwiches: grilled cheese, patty melt and something else but I can’t remember because, per mg husband, it was forgettable. The patty melt was grilled to perfection but lacked flavor. Instead of thousand island dressing, they slathered it with mustard. It was very bland. My son got the grilled cheese and a side of tomato soup. The grilled cheese was the best out of the 3 that we ordered, the tomato soup was on the creamier side. We also had a side of fries that my husband decided as rubbery. You need a code to the bathroom and it was really dirty. They do have natural soft drinks that were interesting.

I stopped here for dinner one evening and ordered the Mac daddy (Mac n cheese grilled cheese with bacon), Parmesan truffle fries, and a lemonade. It was more expensive than I expected but not extremely so. The Mac n cheese itself was so so good. It was really creamy and just overall had a great flavor. The bread was also great, nice and crispy but not too much. My only issue with the sandwich was that it wasn’t warm at all. I also ordered the truffle fries and they were a little crispier/harder than I usually like, but not terrible. The lemonade was in the cooler in the front and when I went to grab it there were several bugs on the lid. I showed it to them (and they took it quick so no picture!) but they gave me another from another cooler. It seemed fine. Overall it was a fine meal but I wouldn’t rush back.

Kiosk ordered Spicy Chicken, Sweet Potato Fires and Strawberry Shake! I personally don’t see anything special comparing to McDonald on a good day! The fries are too much salt but it’s hot and fresh. The Strawberry malt is fantastic with real strawberries!

01/19/26 12pm. I ordered online and went to pick up the order. The male employee and the female manager both have a very rude attitude and lack costumer service. If you want to ruin your day instead of enjoying a smoothie go there. Before adding this review I was curious to check other reviews and found out I wasn't the only one who thinks this place is absurd and not welcoming. This is my 5th visit and my last hopefully pressed can manage to select their employees the same way they deliver the quality of their products.

Had a horrible experience with one of the staff Karen, she yelled at me because I asked for almond butter instead of agave syrup. And was so rude, and mean to me. Saying she was going to call corporate because I wanted a substitute for strawberries and almond butter.

Two male and female employees working in the morning treated customers badly. This is not a good sign under any circumstances. not good not response

consistently gets orders wrong for acai bowls. ordered from here 3 times, and twice they’ve just given us completely different orders.

Really horrible service. That girl with the short blonde hair was so rude. Took her so long to even ask me what I needed, she just kept going in & out of the back room. Then I ordered Roots 1 2 3 & she rudely said we are out of 2. No sorry we are out but just out! Then I paid. And I asked her, aren't you even going to ask me for my tel # & she again rudely said oh you have a number with us? Then as I was walking out she shouted to the top of her lungs GOOD BYE! With that very annoying tone & voice of hers. So thumbs down Pressed Juicery! No wonder everyone has been flocking over to Proper Foods on Market, as they not only have super nice & friendly people working there but their juices & food products are so good that they run out first thing in the morning & that is why I decided I would give your store another try! I had stopped going there because of the rude people behind the counter! I don't even mind paying for more in other establishments that sell fresh juices because I would rather have friendly people working there! I hope the owners read this & do something about their super unfriendly & rude staff at 75 1st St SF
