DO NOT GET THE RICE = 5 stars Call me crazy but the rice bowl was pretty horrible haha. But I'm here often so here we go3 A staple in my lunch rotation when I worked at Guitar Center Santa Clara Angry Mac is our typical go to but anything paired with the sweet tea (except the rice lol) will be a winner. Fast service. Dirty calories. 😂

Someone brought me a angry Mac bowl.. after trying it.. I was hooked! And I've been craving it. So I came to the one off Saratoga .. service was cool, they seem very busy which means it's good.. It's just the way the Mac and the coleslaw and the sauce.. chicken.. it's just so gooooood! If you're not a fan of coleslaw they have other options as well.. fries, sandwiches.. I'm going to have to come back again to try out more!

A simple menu, unique taste! Come here for southern food in the Bay Area; they are a hidden gem, and I recommend you share items. They have super large serving sizes, but I wouldn't be surprised if you somehow manage to finish everything :) And yes, food comes out pretty quick!

We had a great experience here today. The mac and cheese bowl with chicken in it is nice and creamy and just the right spice. It is a meal in itself. The chicken sliders in combo #1 are much bigger than a normal slider, and the chicken was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The slaw on the sliders was excellent and would be great by itself. Their french fries are seasoned to perfection, and I ate them without needing ketchup or anything. The chicken with rice combo #4 had awesome chicken, but the rice was not buttery, as the description said, and it was just plain tasting and dry. Recommend if you get this combo to take it home where you can season the rice up. The servings are huge, and a single order of a combo can feed two people easily. The spice levels are superb! I got the Extra hot, and it was borderline too hot for me, and I can take some serious spice levels. The Hot level was perfect, and that is the one I will go back for! The customer service was great, and the lady was really helpful with our questions when we were ordering. The bathroom was super clean, too! My suggestion to the restaurant is to add some ranch dip for the sliders etc.

I am absolutely changing my review: this place is now great!!! Mac and cheese bowls and the rice plate with mild/medium tenders is our favorite. Everything is flavorful, and the place more welcoming with the repainted and redecorated wall. Will be coming back often! Old review 2023: If you like spicy breading on your chicken, this is the place for you. Menu is very simple, focusing on the said chicken. No frills service. Place is darkly painted, not my type. Anyways back to the chicken: underneath the spice is bland meat. Sides are kinda tasty but not exceptional. So all in all, meh.

I've been to Angry Chickz quite a few times, and I am in love with their take on Nashville hot chicken. They season it really well, and there is a range of spice levels for all preferences. My favorite dish is their Angry Mac, which is a mix of tenders, fries, and mac & cheese. It's so indulgent and satiating.. The best part for is that this location serves halal chicken! (Note that not all Angry Chickz do, as far as I know.) I usually order takeout so I'm not in the building for long, but from what I've it's nicely decorated and big enough for plenty of dine-in customers. All the staff I've interacted with have been friendly, and the food is usually ready when the apps indicate. So yeah, I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!

The chicken sandwich was good, not the best I've ever had. I got the medium chicken sandwich and the spice level was tolerable. The fries were just okay. The chicken was cooked well and was decently juicy.

Because it’s still closed, I decided to go to a nearest location which is in San Jose close to Westfield Valley Fair Mall. I have different takes when it comes to the food here. The chicken meat unfortunately tastes like nothing, but you may want to dip it in the sauce to get the taste. The skin with the mild coatings tastes flavorful. The slider also makes up for that taste too. The atmosphere of this place is very similar to other chicken shops and I am quite surprised how fast the service is. I’m looking forward to dining the same establishment in Fremont soon!

Staff were not paying attention and on their phones most of the time. Place lacks color and vibrancy. Food was sufficient but not exceeding expectations. Customer service was a C, Food was an A. Mac and cheese was excellent, sliders were good but lacking a bit of flavor and crunchiness. I would recommend Chikin drip if you can go, same menu basically and is better. September 15, 2023 Update: Management seems to have been so much better since last time I was here. Only a few workers who are hard working and I did not have to wait for more than 5-10 minutes for my food yesterday and today. The loaded mac is by far the best option and is actually really good. I cannot speak about any of the sandwiches as I haven’t ordered since.

The buns are cheap Walmart type buns, they use chicken strips/fingers, so you end up with too much bun. The slaw is OK. Bad management, one girl working her tail off up front while everyone else goofs off in the back. No one cleaning tables. There are some positives. If you are a heat freak they have you covered. They REALLY bring the fire! 🔥🌶️. I would not go above "Hot" on their scale if I were you. ☠️ The chicken strips, though small, are pretty good. The fries were great as was the fry sauce but they hardly put any sauce in the cups so we had to ask for 4 plastic cups, so wasteful! Oh, we also liked the Mac, spicy chicken and fries on the bottom. Great keto dish! 🤣 I was going to give 3 stars but I think under normal conditions, pre-2019 with a motivated workforce and better buns, this would be 5 stars.

Go-to cool local chain for chicken sandos. Fast (very fast) food done the right way. Staff is friendly and helpful. As advertised the fried chicken is flavorful and spicyand crispy. Not heavy on the breading. 2 big tenders & Coleslaw inside, soft bread. Like any good sandwich it's gets a little sloppy at the end. Fries were crispy and hot, good seasoning.

Can’t hear my order being called with 20+ people waiting to order, everyone queued up against the wall waiting to maybe hear their order called, and the music turned all the way up. Please have a microphone or a monitor saying which orders are ready if you can’t be loud or repeat order number announcements. I don’t want to be around 100+ people inside waiting for my food in a pandemic. No heaters keeping completed orders warm, just waiting on the counter. Doesn’t seem food safe. Food is decent to above average. Mac and cheese is like velveta. Pretty small tenders. Sliders are decent looking. Fries are seasoned. We got x-hot, no waiver required. Decently spicy but if you have done hot ones chicken wing challenge— I’d go for the hottest level.

I asked the staff that the food is cold; it looks like the tender and the fries were sitting there for a while. She said that since we put the coleslaw on top of it that's why everything is cold. It does not make sense to me because normally I eat this all the time, and it was not good. And I felt really bad, even though later she said I can make you new, But I felt like she should have taken care of it right away. I didn't accept her offer to make me a new one

This is generally one of my favorite restaurants. We decided to dine in, but the food that they served was cold. I ordered angry fries, and the chicken was cold, and fries were cold. I asked the staff that the food is cold; it looks like the tender and the fries were sitting there for a while. She said that since we put the coleslaw on top of it that's why everything is cold. It does not make sense to me because normally I eat this all the time, and it was not good. And I felt really bad, even though later she said I can make you new, But I felt like she should have taken care of it right away. I didn't accept her offer to make me a new one

But it's become wildly inconsistent in flavor and quality, and recently now me and my wife both got terrible salmonella poisoning, neighboring hospitalization, from two separate dishes from here on the same day.
