First time trying this restaurant. We had bun ma’m and bun rieu. Both are delicious and authentic. Come with generous serving of veggie. Highly recommend and we would come back to try other dishes. Parking is not too hard to find for a Sunday lunch. Nice atmosphere, airy and clean. I’m surprised the place is not too busy. It deserves more popularity and is definitely better than many other restaurants in the area.

Service is great, food is delicious. There's about a dozen tables. So it may be crowded at times i went at 2-3 so there was ample space. I have the bun rieu, I highly recommend it. Menu is small but they know what they are doing. My friend had the bun Bo hue and liked it so much they got another one.

I got a vegetarian dish, bun thai. It was excellent - a flavorful, tangy broth, and abundance of different kinds of mock meat. Definitely a nutritious and satisfying meal. Service was very fast, kind and professional.

Well done ! Had the beef stew and loved it. Big juicy tender chunks of beef and tendon. Flavorful soup and yummy rice noodles. Lots of carrots. Came at a slow lunch vibe on a cool Feb Sat afternoon lived it. Highly recommended!

I want to give them 10 starts if I could, the best Bun mam in San Jose that I have been ever had .... I come here to eat bun mam every time I go, my husband likes Bun bo hue here too, also my little boy like mien xao cua once I ordered party tray, all my friends like it as well. Highly recommended who love bun here, also restaurant is very clean too.

My niece and I love the food here we tried Bun Rieu (crab soup) and Bun mam, especially Bun man you could not find anywhere else, I loved the taste is well-balanced and delicious. They add sweet chili and bitter melon stuffing, so good, milk tea is very good too you should try I wish I had taken the photo. I did Togo Bun Bo Hue

You know the food is good when they have a small menu. Incredibly friendly staff too. Durian Avocado Shake - You can tell there's real durian in there. Impressive. Bun mam - not familiar with how it's supposed to taste, but definitely tastes better than it smells. Bun rieu - A full flavor with lots of toppings. They don't skimp on the meat. Chicken wings - Really crunchy, a nice amount of seasoning and flavor Thai tea - tastes like the real tea leaves. They do this one right. Bo kho mi - the broth is full of beef, carrot, and onion flavor. Reason I'm deducting a point for atmosphere: the music doesn't really fit the vibe. The place has the charm of a family owned Vietnamese restaurant that prioritizes good food, but the music choice it more what you'd find in a boba milk tea shop. That's just my personal opinion though. Objectively, the music could use some equalization (EQ).

The spicy beef noodle, and the crab noodle are both so good and flavorful. My mother, husband and I really enjoyed the meal there. Seating was good and comfortable. I would go there again!

I had a really good experience here. The food was fresh and flavorful, and everything came out pretty quickly. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The place was clean and comfortable, perfect for hanging out with friends or family. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’d definitely come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

I stopped there before my Costco run when I saw the "open now" sign. I got the bun bo hue and was pleasantly surprised, it's probably one of the best I've had in the area! (Yes, better than an nam and song Huong). The place was clean and service was fast. I'll be back to try other dishes!

Their "bún mắm" is the best. I adopt the Keto diet for health reasons. I've been enjoying their "bún mắm" without "bún". I replace "bún" with vegetables. They always serve my order with lots of chopped cabbage, mint, and watercress.

This review is mainly about the service of this place. Been here a few times, sometimes it’s dead but tonight on a Thursday night it was packed. We came here around 6:45 and we walked into a restaurant about 90% packed. We weren’t greeted but since we were ordering togo we grabbed a menu to see what we wanted. There was one waitress in front, no one at the desk, and maybe two people in the kitchen. After ordering we waited for our food. About 30 minutes passed when we asked the waitress and all she said was “20 more minutes”. We asked again after waiting for a whole hour and again she said “20 minutes”. The people that came after us sat down and they waited for about 40 minutes before leaving. They weren’t greeted, given water, not even menus. A lot of people who were waiting just to order, started leaving, and so did we. Over ten people walked out of this place. There was a gentleman who we assume is the owner just walking back and forth not doing nothing, besides talking to another man and turning off the “open” sign at 7:40pm when they close at 8pm. Although the bun rieu is decent, it’s not worth disrespect the staff displayed to its customers.
