Wow! Such delicious food. The BBQ is so scrumptious and awesomely cheap. Really exciting and unique soups too, spiced yourself. Definitely going back!

My husband and I’s go to late night place. Recommended: Hot Dry Noodles pictured here (in any spice level, it’s so hearty), skewers of your liking (pictured: lamb kidney, cow tendon, chicken gizzard, corn kernels), bbq chives (iykyk) and non spicy beef noodles (for kids). Can’t wait to try the garlic bbq clams next time.

The best skewer to order here is the stinky tofu in my opinion. Some other skewers I recommend are lamb, king oyster mushroom, gizzard, corn, and fish balls. The beef was a bit too dry and chunky for me. It's probably healthier for you since it isn't as fatty but I don't prefer it. The lamb was juicier and more flavorful. I think I'd come back here for the stinky tofu though since it's harder to find at other locations. I also ordered the hot dry noodle which was simple but good, pretty much what I expected. The portion was pretty large.

Came here for the duck neck (which was amazing), and found the chicken heart skewers and lamb skewers great too! Authentic Chinese. Try the szechuan noodle if you like sesame and spicy sauce.

Just awesome. I went to California from New York during school’s spring break, and my friend at Apple recommended this restaurant to me because she knew that Im from Wuhan. Probably one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tried in the United States. Unfortunately the owner wasn’t here when I arrived, guys at there still gave me a great service and great foods tho. I have almost ordered all the foods on the menu. Will definitely recommend this to others!

Food from my home town. 豆皮 is pretty good here.

Pretty good food, pretty bad atmosphere. If you’re a foodie and like Chinese food, or simply want something that is open past midnight, this will be a good choice. The crawfish is amazing.

Small but service is quick. Food is tasty as well. Note that it's cash only under $30.

Good spicy Chinese yakitori, or BBQ skewers to go with beer. Meat and vegetables on stick, doused with liberal dose of chilli and cumin spices. This is Wuhan style and they serve Wuhan region noodles too. There are 4-5 types of bottled beers in their fridge to pick from. Wished they carry some beer on tap though.

I’m from Wuhan, and the beef noodle is very authentic, and I order it every time. Hot dry noodle and pancake are also very classical Wuhan food, but their quality probably won’t sell well in Wuhan. Consider there’s almost no other choice, I will still order some occasionally.

Like the name, they offer the specifies from Hankow. The noodle and soup are quite authentic ( I lived in that area for years). Bbq meat is good too. The place is small, weekend night expecting long wait.

We came here for dinner, a long time since our last visit before COVID. The restaurant is now newly renovated, with a clean bathroom and cleaned up dining area. We tried a few old time favorites: hot dry noodles, beef noodles, a few skewers and the eggs and rice pancake. Only the hot dry noodles is still decent. Beef noodles is super salty and not flavorful, skewers were average. The bamboo in the rice pancake had a smelly taste. The waitress was not friendly at all, gave us mean look when we asked for one additional cup and chopsticks. I felt bizarre that a restaurant provides only one time use plastic cups for water, paper plates, and flimsy plastic forks. Maybe it makes you feel like you are having some authentic street food ? I’m quite disappointed in their beef noodle soup, not only it’s very salty and not tasty, it also made my mouth very dry afterwards. I would much rather to pay $20 or more for a properly prepared plate. I can understand it’s hard to make a business survive charging only $15 per plate, in a high cost area like Cupertino…

1st time eating here. I liked the garlie oysters they were tasty. My husband liked the lamb, beef skewers. Pot stickers were also good, heavy breading but good. Only complaint was i wish they had some fans or an ac, it was really hot inside- but it was 106 degrees today so it was rough.

Standard chinese bbq. No surprise. Meat is more on the lean side. Personally I hope it is 60/40 lean to fat ratio. Also ordered speical tofu sticky rice.

If you need food to serve quickly, here can satisfy you. The staff are quick and enthusiastic. I wish there were no flies in the restaurant.

The food makes me confused. Interesting taste and meat texture.

Went 2 days ago, I think there is some electric issue with their ceiling lights, the whole time there were sudden popping/sparky noises coming from above our heads. And except for 2 dish, everything else were salty(the first 2times I ordered from here, they didn't taste like this)but we ordered so many skewers that I didn't think it's nice to get them to replace them. In the end my husband did not tip, instead of asking about what went wrong, we had an angry waiter confronting him about the tip. I came from Australia, we tip when we are happy about the food and dinning experience. I didn't expect tips to be compulsory and definitely not rude attitude from the staff when we decided not to tip?

Skewers/bbq are not bad. Maybe because I didn’t expected to be good. The other signature “hankow” food are quite mediocre though. Over priced for the food quality and service.

The interior looks old and not clean, had mosquitoes flying near our table. BBQ and noodles we ordered, with some appetizers— none really tasted good. I was quite disappointed and don’t think will go back.

if you want try real lamb skewers, better go to Uyghur restaurant( not many in bay area). the bbq skewers pics look good on yelp, so we try , with disappointed. never try Wuhan food here, maybe it's the better than bbq skewers. waitress kind of not welcome customers, service need to be improve a lot.

The food is terrible , no taste only spicy. This is the worst food I have ever eaten.

The ratings here is so different from the ratings on the other rating website. And I found this place only deserves a rating at most 2 stars. Flies inside. Credit card only above $30 at counter but no signs outside. However they do have a ATM inside which charges you $3.5 plus your bank fees. Avoid this place. As a person from the city, I felt ashamed again. But honesty, the way they do business is typical Hankow style in old times.

We left after the waiter cursed and questioned us when he put a wrong order on our table even though we told him it's already served. All the staff there are bad horrible people and even tried to force us stay after a horrible argument with the waiter by saying that all the food we ordered were already cooked. No one come to apologize throughout the entire course and the waiter was still cursing us after we decided to leave. The owner only showed up at last when he realized that we decided not to pay for the unserved food.
