Opinions de QQ Noodle Cupertino
So far this is our go-to place for pulled noodles in the area. We found out about it through Mikey Chen so we knew it would be good. The process to order and get seated is a little awkward but we know they’re still trying to readjust from pandemic-times. UPDATE: As of October 2022, they are now seating directly when we went to dinner. Still tasty! Also, cash only.
Delicious! Definitely returning. They serve efficiently but do get busy during peak hours so plan accordingly. The noodles are so good, you can definitely taste the Q勁兒 ;) the pig ear appetizer is quite good as well. 涼皮 tastes great, but had little 麵筋 and slightly pricy, so are many other other appetizers. Interestingly their main noodle dishes are generously portioned. Oh, they are CASH ONLY
I’ve frequented this place for over 10 years now- it’s the kind of place you can come dressed comfortably on any given weeknight, and can rely on for a quick and easy meal. I appreciate that their taste has stayed consistent and they have kept their prices reasonable by being cash only. I rotate my takeout orders between #20 & #24, and almost always pick up a TP Tea drink next door to pair with it. They previously had a Milpitas location, I wish they’d consider to open another location in Fremont Mission area.
This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Cupertino. QQ Noodle is a no frills, causal and quick service place. Don’t let that fool you though. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. There is a QR code at each table and you scan to place your order. The waiters will then bring your food out to you. The food comes out quick and delicious. What we ordered: Liang Pi: This is one of my favorite dishes and not many places make this anymore. QQ Noodles makes my favorite Liang PI and this is a dish I will always order if I see it on the menu in both North Cal and NYC. The noodles are bouncy, the cucumbers refreshing and just the right level of spice. No frills deliciousness. Sour Mustard and Grass Fish Noodle Soup: I tried it with wide noodle but next time I think I will get the round. The wide noodles are hand pulled which have that great texture and chew. It is done well so there is not a mouthful of dough like some other places. Fish is plentiful and so is the portion of sour mustard. Large Plate Chicken Noodles (No Bone). Not on their printed menu, this was an option when you scan the QR code. They use chicken thighs and its braised with potato. Flavorful and just the right level of spice thats too spicy but offers a little kick for flavor. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by for a quick meal. TP tea in the same strip mall is also a wonderful Bubble tea place that makes their drinks with brewed tea.
Get the wide noodles for soup, round noodles for dry!!!! The noodles are very QQ (chewy) and the portions are huge — I definitely could’ve split this into at least 2 meals, if not even three. The price is not too bad for the quantity. They are cash-only, although you order on a menu on your phone!
***QQ noodle is cash only and they also take venmo*** Decided to get noodles for dinner and my wife wanted a certain kind of noodle. Got here and we ordered two appetizers and two mains. The first appetizer was cold cut meat with garlic sauce not shown in photos. The garlic is heavy so if you're not into garlic then it might not be for you. Second appetizer was the Chinese burger in the photo and it was fine. I ended up using the garlic sauce from the first appetizer on it and it was great. Our main consisted of the hot oil noodles and the beef noodle soup. I got the noodle soup and my wife got the hot oil noodles. The noodle soup was delicious and the beef stew was very tender. The hot oil noodles had pork and it was really good. It was a bit on the greasy side but it was expected and I proceeded. The highlight on both dishes was the noodles. It has a certain spring to it that made it fun to eat. Highly recommend going here if your want a very good noodle shop
Received a recommendation from a friend and was very thankful for it. I ordered the Hot Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup and the name says it all. The broth has a rich beef flavor with a kick from the spice. But the noodles have a great texture and a wonderful chew. Will definitely be back again!
I think I had the best pulled noodles ever here. I had the regular cut and it was sooo good! Very chewy. The broth was also very tasty, although I would like it a bit more "ma" in it. the quality and amount of meat was mediocre, but really, the noodles alone are worth the visit. CASH or Venmo.
My go-to place for handmade noodles. I always get to start the vegetable salad, which I believe is snow peas leaves. Also, the sliced beef in chili oil. No. 20 dry noodle or special hot oil noodle or no. 24 garlic sause pork dry noodle are my go-to . If you can't handle spicy, the pork or beef noodle soup can be ordered mild. Everything is good here. You can't go wrong. It gets crowded, and there is a short wait sometimes. Service is always consistent.
This small restaurant does not get the credit deserved. The noodles are amazing here and provided to you quickly. The price is more than fair for the portion they provide. It's cash and Venmo payment only. The service is top notch the gentleman greeted us and attended to us quickly. We love this spot for family days. Highly recommended! Especially after a night out this is the remedy!
Fine place for stringy and chewy hand-pulled noodle. Price is pretty low! Cash only. The portion of the pork ribs exceeded my expectations, and each piece was the right piece of meat i liked :) this noodle’s soup is on the bland side. The other we ordered was sour-and-spicy, very appetizing! There are different types of noodles too. We loved the belt noodle.
The noodles found at QQ Noodle are probably the best noodles in the bay area. Scratch that, probably the best noodles I have had in general. The chewiness, texture, and flavor are all on point. Not only that but they give you so much noodles. From the spicy beef noodle soup to the special hot oil beef noodles to the liangpi. You can not go wrong with how much flavor is packed into a bowl. I was especially impressed with the special hot oil beef bowl 🌶️🍖🍜 So damn good 🤤. Most definitely worth the drive and I already can not wait to come back!!!
Delicious noodles at a great price. The serving bowls are huge (enough for 2 meals for me) so I usually eat family style when I go with people. The staff are nice and the food comes out really quickly when they aren't over flooded with people. The busiest times are usually on the weekends when there will be a waiting list for up to 30 min to get seated.
Fantastic noodles, but very unwelcoming staff. The noodles are 5/5 with great flavor and texture. Qq, exactly like the name of the restaurant! The ingredients are simple, but they pair beautifully all together. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but the customer service was simply lacking. I ordered pickup, and upon walking in, I was rudely questioned about my order by the elderly gentleman at the desk. He repeatedly asked for my first and last name, even after I had given it to him multiple times. There was no warmth in the encounter whatsoever. They also didn’t give me utensils, so I had to use my own that I keep in the car (thank you, Trader Joe’s). Overall, I would come back for the food, but I wish the customer service was better.
Cold noodles were great unlike the spicy pig ears which were ok but I preferred the non spicy. Braised beef noodles were good. Ordering through the website is very convenient but payment still requires at the cashier and it's CASH ONLY. unisex restroom available. Be prepared to wait during the weekend.
Was craving noodle soup and this place popped up. Upon arriving, they were easy to spot from the horse of Asians standing around the entrance. Luckily we had a short wait on a Saturday around noon. We got the spicy pork noodle soup with the wide noodles and the dry noodles of the same kind. Both dishes were good, but the dry noodles were pretty over cooked. Otherwise the broth had good flavor and textures. I was also excited it had three chilies next to the name. I assumed it would be really spicy. That's where they let me down. Very little spice at all. No water or tissues needed, I was pretty bummed about that. Otherwise the space has a lot of communal tables so expect to be sat there. They also only accept cash, thankfully my bf had some to cover us.
Pretty good noodle place that focuses on quality with a reasonable price. Based on pictures, our group ordered a variety of dishes that range of various spice levels. I enjoyed trying each dish and the noodle texture was firm but chewy. Portion of each dish was very generous that will ensure take home. Overall would recommend and will return to try other variants of items in the menu.
Good food! Noodles are firm and chewy, meat burger was scrumptious & juicy (though judging from the other reviews the dish is probably inconsistent). Service was alright, could be better. Relatively quick wait time. Noodles did have some uncomfortable contrasting flavors, and at times it could be too oily. However, overall this place did pretty well.
this place were recommended by 2 colleagues so we decided to give it a try, a little bit disappointed, the taste was not very authentic (my husband is from xi’an so he knows the taste the best), they run out of 凉皮 on the day, and they stopped making肉夹馍 permanently. Also the 油泼扯面 and the 臊子面 looks very similar as you can see from the picture, I guess the only difference is that one comes with spicy oil, but they tasted almost same.
My husband and I had a MASSIVE, PAINFUL DIARRHEA 3x early this morning after eating dinner with green vegetables, a meat sandwich, and pork garlic noodles. We think it's the vegetable or the sandwich. We love this place and have been going for over a decade. Please DO NOT serve food that is old and contaminated with millions of bacteria. We really felt so bad, and I felt like fainting.
Price almost doubled compared with few years ago, that’s fine due to inflation. but the quality goes down: noodles chewed like plastics in your mouth, no any authentic flour taste like real noodles, really wondering if some chemical additives are in the noodles. Will not come back for sure
