Opinions de Sweet Maple Cupertino
Been wanting to come here for a while!! My friend and I came on Valentine's Day and boy was it crowded! She had checked us in on yelp which made the whole process super fast. Parking is few and far in between but I guess you can park across the street at the gas station? I ended up parking in the neighborhood, it was a good walk away but didn't mind it since we had to wait anyway. The overall wait wasn't even too bad, maybe like 20-25 minutes. Once seated, service was super friendly, efficient and fast! There is outdoor seating and inside seating in a quaint cute little setting. I got the California burger with fries and it was so so juicy and good!! Fries were plenty and the dip was delish! I'd totally get again! My friend who has been before got her usually of the chicken croffle and I tried it and it was so so good. The chicken was so crispy and perfect and the croffle was a fun twist! Probably some of the best brussel sprouts l've had! I always order these wherever I go, and these are top tier, rich with the millionaire bacon but I love how they're leafs vs chunks of Brussels. We both got a mimosa flight, which was fun but l'd probably just get one mimosa next time.
Excellent brunch spot in Cupertino. Prepare for long lines on weekends but the food is worth the wait. The millionaire bacon is a tasteful staple from the menu but you can't really go wrong - everything we tried was delicious, including my son's fun pancake serving. They have a good drink menu with mimosas, beers and wines, but I didn't regret going with a dirty ube latte, which was great. Service was pretty good and very fast.
This was worth the wait! We went on a warm Sunday for brunch so a wait was to be expected. But they do a yelp waitlist so you can check your spot in line. Once seated the service was prompt and the food was fantastic. There are plentiful gluten free options too! Definitely get one of the bacon sides listed on the menu. So much fun.
Proportions are fairly large. I would recommend sharing family style in order to taste the various options. Everything I've had there has been great so far. This visit we had the Gardena Souffle Omelet, Oscar Benedict, Original Millionaire Bacon, Dirty Ube Latte, and Bloody Mary. Good presentation and very delicious!
Pretty dining room with plenty of patio dining available when the morning haze burns off. Service staff was friendly and efficient. Would have loved to try more than half the menu items but we were only visiting the area with a long drive home ahead. My Hemingway Benedict was incredibly tasty with little heat from the wasabi hollandaise. The potatoes mixed with Brussel leaves were perfectly crisp outside, soft inside. Ube latte was delish.
We had a great breakfast. The original Sweet Maple was in SF and then the opened a Palo Alto location, and we visited for their soft opening. And when we heard they were opening a location in Cupertino, we had to try it since it’s close to home. Had a great breakfast and will be coming back. It can get busy because it’s featured on social media and definitely has a wait time on weekends! The millionaire bacon is really good!
One more wonderful brunch place in the Bay Area. The ambiance was aesthetically beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The presentation of the food was so lovely and appetizing. They have limited vegetarian options on the menu. It is worth trying the SMCP stack (pancakes with added fresh fruits) and croffle (waffled croissant)
I had a solid and redeeming experience today as a first-time guest. Breakfast tacos with rainbow potatoes were good. Food presentation was superb. Taste was good. Here is what I appreciated most: the hostess up front. Seeing the sign outside, I had placed my name on the waiting list online only to realize there is one that you should be putting info into the one in front at the stand. After showing the hostess after waiting a while, she found a spot in the back to seat us after apologizing for the confusion. Thank you for doing the right thing.
I was invited for a brunch. Excited, heard so much about this place. Parking is a little annoyance but manageable. The food are exquisite to look at and mouthwatering. It didn't disappoint. Love the presentation and the food is very tastefull. Coffee is great had 2 to 3 cups. Never happened before. Will come back again for sure. BTW I tried the loco moco😁
Wonderful experience. Definitely a bit of a wait, 30 minutes and parking is a challenge. They do have processing people down to a science via a good system. Service was fantastic! The lady who took care of this was very attentive. Food was outstanding. I had a chicken crofle. Beautifully arranged Chicken on top of a waffle, surrounded by blueberries walnuts strawberries a slice or two of green apple. The chicken was moist and really delicious, the batter it was fried in was amazing. This and all dishes were very unique. The waffle was outstanding and the syrup must have been made in house as it was unique and really delicious. My wife had BLT which was great and the fries were amazing with a really unique flavor. Her dish came with a dip that I used for the chicken which was a nice compliment, aioli. I had a hot chocolate that was good as well. There are many things I want to try like a blueberry latte, egg dishes, shrimp dishes, I will be coming back for sure.
Nice place right off the main road, the weather and traffic was perfect today for outdoor seating. The service is very friendly, they are mainly famous for their Bacon but they do have some options for vegetarians(no egg no mushrooms). The papaya salad was good with deadly garlic dressing. The latte was fresh and refreshing.
Heard this brunch is really good and coming here for the first time. It’s indeed pretty good, we had Benedict, chicken waffle and a side croffle, all delicious, chicken is done nicely, and you def see details in the Benedict that’s different than regular ones. Would come back and try other items on the menu
Had to try out the French Toast Marnier and Million Dollar Bacon they are writing so much about. The place was busy for a Wednesday morning brunch time 11am. The service was top notch professional the server put me in a 4 seat table. Plenty of room for me to move around and put my cane aside. I also ordered the coffee and it was delish. Overall a little pricy for my pocket book but as expected for WEST SIDE San Jose. My waiter was from Brazil. Did not get his name but was very attentive and polite in his service. The facility is located on a corner lot of the block. Plenty of parking and seats outside as well. All were busy so there food is 5 star meals. The wait time was 5 minutes for my plate. The seating was instant as soon as I limped in with my cane. This place is ALWAYS BUSY. That is a great sign that the food is DELISH! Pick your day and your calendar and take your ride to SWEET MAPLE. Your tummy and mouth will be happy.
One of the best brunch places I have been to in last 5 years in the bay area. There is limited parking space. The waiting is 30-40 mins in weekend and I have seen waiting on weekdays as well. The service was good despite of busy hours. They have amazing mimosas and breakfast cocktails. It is a bit on high end on cost. The food was superb tasty and well presented. The millionaire’s bacon was the highlight. I would definitely recommend and visit again on some special occasions.
This brunch spot is a must-visit for its flavorful, elevated pimped up ramyun and crispy yet non-greasy fried chicken. The buttery corn, freshly squeezed orange juice, and blueberry moffle perfectly round out the meal. If you’re looking for unique and delicious brunch fare, this place is a standout!
Me and my girlfriend enjoyed a delicious brunch. Our only mistake was deciding to come here on our late day. I had their famous deep fried French toast and it was tasty and plentiful. But what i enjoyed more was my partners Croffle and Chicken! A croissant waffle and juicy boneless thigh meat fried chicken. It was so good i barely used syrup! I could have that everyday i think. The bacon sampler is something to definitely try once for sure.
I have had ok service here but today Matt the manager was impossible to communicate with. He kept talking over me. I told him his system charged my bank account and I have the screenshot of the charge but he refused to take my order. I understood there’s no email confirmation but I told him I still wanted the food and would wait 2-3 business days for the extra charge to drop off my account but he wouldn’t let me express this. He’s a terrible manager. Would not listen and doesn’t know how to deal with clients. I was really peeved at his unprofessionalism - just a review for him. Just a lot of frustration and no food and a charge despite getting nothing in return. Will not be returning although I’ve been a customer for a few years both here and Palo Alto - bad service and attitude.
Such a wonderful place for a satisfying brunch! The food quality is just too amazing, the ambiance has a great vibe and their service is pretty good. Expect a a good enough waiting time so plan accordingly especially during the weekends. We visited during a weekday so it was busy but we did not have to wait. Their pancakes, coffees and egg recipes are worth trying. Highly recommended!
The food was excellent, very fresh and flavorful! Service was fast and food was prompt. Definitely recommend getting a skillet though there are plenty of other options to choose from! Be prepared to wait about 20-40 minutes for a table at peak hours, so plan to get there at least one-two hours before closing.
Really great breakfast. Must try the bacon sampler. Fruit was fresh and delicious. Also liked the mimosa. There was a wait to get in.
My wife was craving Loco Moco so my family mentioned Sweet Maple in Cupertino and we decided to give it a try. Of course she ordered the Loco Moco and Millionaire's Bacon- original flavor. Also,we ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice and the Maple Plates- Marnier We couldn't stop eating!😋 Everyone absolutely loved their choices. The LM was delicious and grilled perfectly. The bacon, we should have ordered more! The galbi- boneless short ribs were onolicious. But i wish there was more of it. I especially enjoyed the presentation of the egg wrapped over the rice, hence the name. We arrived at 815 am and most of the indoor and outdoor dining was occupied and they do not accept reservations. Even though the staff was busy they were very pleasant and friendly. The table service was fairly quick. We'll definitely be back, looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
Absolutely delicious!!! We were so excited to have some Millionaire Bacon closer to home so we knew we needed to stop by Sweet Maple and you definitely should too. The restaurant itself feels very inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. We called ahead and got our order to go and the food was perfect. We of course got the millionaire candy as well as the big hit (deep fried french toast) and the kids pancake with the chicken mango sausage and scrambled eggs. We could not have asked for a better breakfast. We are very much looking forward to coming back again soon!
Deym. This place is good! Thats why the line and waiting time is long!! Glad had the chance to try their millionaire’s bacon! Haven’t taste anything like that for a bacon!!!! Service was also quick and warm! All the food we had was tasty!! Parking would easily get full due to the number dining. Accepts credit/debit card. High chair available. Bathroom is clean. Indeed a great brunch restaurant as per other reviews. See images and videos for further information
Hands down my all-time favorite breakfast place. We've started coming every weekend. The wait can be long, but it's usually not as bad as we think it will be when seeing all the people waiting ahead of us, and they have an electronic sign in method when you get there that allows you to see your place in line in real-time. Service is usually good; even though they're busy, they try to be friendly, but a few times they have forgotten to check on us. The food is five stars. Every. Single. Time. They're known for their bacon, but everything from the Benedicts to the ahi salad to the scrambles to the breaky tacos to the chicken croffle (holy alliance of croissant and waffle) to the freaking burger (yes, I've had all of these and more--we come a lot!) is outstanding. Atmosphere isn't bad considering they're located on a busy street and still have patio seating. They have as many tables as they can fit and still make it comfortable. They close at 2:30 pm, so don't come after like 2:15.
This was our first time here. Boy, it did not disappoint. The pumpkin spice latte is good, I subbed oat milk. The cinnamon sugar on the rim was perfect. The pimped out Ramyun was so flame ( delicious). Chicken croffle was good as well, I think I enjoyed the waffle More than the chicken. Omelettes were there best I've had in forever! I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
This place is one of the best brunch spots I've tried in the area. The menu options not only include the usual breakfast options, but they also have unique food options available. We had breakfast outside and wait time was only 3 minutes because we arrived around 9:45-10 (the later you arrive the busier it gets and longer the wait time). I got the Morning Thai Cioppino, and definitely recommend requesting they add medium spice (It isnt a dish that has spice, but you can thank me later), it tasted absolutely amazing!! The bread it came with was really beautifully toasted with the right amount of crunch on the outside and soft in the middle ( I recommend dipping it into the food or adding some of the seafood, tomatoes or mushrooms on top). The sauce for this dish was immaculate, it would even taste amazing as a pasta sauce. For the drink , I got the Bombay Chai and asked for creamer to add to it. My friends got an ube latte and vanilla latte, which tasted really yummy as well. I will 100% guarantee I will be back to eat more of their scrumptious food!
Super aesthetic place with amazing food that doesn't just look good, tastes epic too. I tried the autumn spice cocktail, avocado croffle, souffle Omelette and millionaire bacon. The bacon was expensive, but definitely worth it - perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The croffle, which is a croissant pressed into a waffle was super unique, and really delicious too. Personally I think the souffle Omelette was not the best compared to everything else, but still really good. And of course the cocktail was light refreshing and felt just like autumn. We went on a weekday morning, so it wasn't too crowded. On weekends it really seems impossible to get in here. The wait staff always seems a bit rushed though? So 4/5 for service.
No wonder there are long lines on the weekends. We went during the week ( and the kids are back to school) The food is excellent! The souffle egg skillet with a side of Brussel sprouts/potato medley is very good. Comes with ciabatta au levain toast. Healthy and tasty food is my favorite way to eat. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Casual atmosphere inside. Outside seating, I had the sun in my eyes, but there are umbrellas out.
This brunch spot is a true gem! The pimped-up ramyun is a standout—perfectly spiced with springy, flavorful noodles that hit the spot. The fried chicken is incredible—crispy, light, and juicy without being oily. The buttered corn is sweet and creamy, a perfect side, and the freshly squeezed orange juice is refreshingly vibrant. If you have room for dessert, the blueberry moffles are delicious, and a perfect way to end an exceptional meal. Highly recommend!
We've been trying to visit Sweet Maple for almost 2 years now and as luck would have it, something or the other would always happen and we'd just not end up there. A couple of weeks ago, we decided that this needs to happen and we were resolute. No fights, no plans, no distractions and a toddler that was well fed and did the deed at home. We were on a mission to dine at Sweet Maple on account of all the great reviews and myself being a connosieur of Chicken & Waffles. The day had come, we were ready! We planned to have a late (I mean very late) brunch at 1:30 PM thinking the place wouldn't be busy but we were wrong. Luckily people move in and out fast so we could find parking in the lot itself. Yelp On-site Wait List is open there, you cannot reserve a table or add yourself to the list online (trust me, we tried). After about 25 min wait, it was our turn and I'll start the actual review with the Service & Ambiance, Food comes last else this review will never end! Service: It wasn't fast but its understandable because of the jam packed nature of their business. The staff was great mostly but the Front Desk lady can have a better attitude. Providing good service v/s good hospitability are two different things. She could be havin a bad day but it happened twice now. Ambiance: It looked beautiful, the furniture, the decor and the overall presentation was lovely. It could be a nice place for a date as well but its a bit crowded so you will lack intimacy there! Food: The juicy part of this review, I've been there twice in 2 weeks and if that doesn't tell you how good the food is, there's nothing I can say that will convince you otherwise. Both the times we ordered the exact same thing from the menu. 1. Chicken Croffle - No words to describe this beautiful creation. Its a flaky waffle that's also a croissant. I love them individually but this form is better than both. Its so flaky and tasty, I will never go back to regular waffles again. They have it in veggie form as well, Avocado Croffle. I forgot about the chicken, how did they make it so tender? The outer crispy layer is just spicy enough to satisfy the Indian taste buds. The maple syrup gets a special shoutout, not sure how but it does feel spicy as well. 2. Florentine Eggs Benedict - Its so tasty, so smooth and just a delight to enjoy on a relaxing afternoon. The hollandaise sauce is just perfect, the eggs are cooked nicely and the muffin base is so buttery and soft yet firm at the same time. 3. Dirty Ube Lattle - Never thought I'd drink something like this, let alone enjoy it. They've created another masterpiece with this one, I thought the croffle was a crazy combination but this thing replicates the magic on the drinks side. Smooth coffee and the taste of that Ube jam just hits the right notes. All in all, I might go again in the next couple of weeks.
The smoked salmon eggs Benedict’s was tasty with the special wasabi hollandaise. We also ordered the millionaire’s bacon platter. It was worth a try but very sweet and greasy. Wait time on a Sunday morning was 30 minutes so not bad at all! Would love to come back and try the other dishes next time.
I'm so blown away! Food is 10/10. Omirice was so good, the Big hip French toast is worthy of calling it famous its the best I've ever had. Bacon is amazing! Presentation: 11/10 each dish was more exciting than the last. Even the fried eggs were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Service: 10/10 great fast and friendly. Places like this are always lacking good service this place makes you feel comfortable and well served on. Atmosphere: 10/10 not sure how they made this place feel like a beach side brunch but they achieved it!
The place is cute and cozy, with an eclectic ambiance that made our brunch feel extra special. We ordered the Soufflegg Gardena Skillet and the French Toast Marnier — both were outstanding. The soufflegg was fluffy, flavorful, and packed with fresh veggies, while the French toast was rich and indulgent, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Came here on a Thursday for brunch and there wasn’t any wait. We ordered the ube latte and ube dirty latte, chicken croffle and big hip. Everything was so delicious!! The portions were also very generous and we could have easily just gotten one item and shared. Already thinking about when to come back again!!
Really wonderful place. We were very happy with all their beverage menu. The service there was very good. It has a beautiful atmosphere. The only thing I wish they did better was have some more healthy options.
Food was excellent and the service was really good too. After being seated and getting our drinks we wanted to change seats as it was too cold at the table we were sitting at. They were so accommodating. There was no wait as we got there at 8:15. By the time we got out it was a lot of people waiting. They also have plenty of outdoor seating.
I was driving through the area and hungry so I found this gem for a croissant waffle and their millionaire's bacon. I'll be back!!!! If you love bacon you have to try the sampler platter ($25). My fave might be the Citron bacon, then the rosemary bacon. The croissant waffle [$8] was incredible. I ordered to go and it was quick even with a huge line for dine in. They apparently don't have a live phone. When I called I just got a message saying they weren't taking orders but they do if you just show up. I'm not in this area too often unfortunately but whenever I am ill be heading back to Sweet Maple!!! Update 12-24. Second visit. Their fried chicken is thigh meat. Keep that in mind. It was crunchy but I don't generally eat dark meat. I tried their candied bacon this time and it was good too. Sweet at first but there is a kick at the end.
"Lunch at Sweet Maple was a 10/10 experience! 🍁 The outdoor seating provided the perfect fall vibes with gorgeous views. We tried the: Avocado Croffle: Perfectly crisp and guacamole was heavenly. Mango Chicken Stonepot: Amazing balance of heat and spice. Matcha Moffle: The star of the show! Not too sweet and perfectly balanced—no bitterness here. Quick service and beautiful presentation. I’m already dreaming about coming back for the blueberry moffle!
So worth the wait! We are always looking for a great brunch place after church and this was the perfect spot! It was a cooler day and we had to wait outside by the heaters, but they give you very accurate timing for your seating. They were very busy, but our server was on top of it! The food was excellent, and the presentation was stellar. (We do; however, prefer thinner crispy bacon.)
Sweet Maple on Stevens Creek is my go-to spot for a fun and yummy brunch in the area. The food is always good, colorful, and playful, and they offer a great variety of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate. It’s usually pretty busy, but honestly, it’s worth the wait. Everything feels well thought out and satisfying. I definitely recommend trying their Benedicts and the ube latte — both are delicious and a must if it’s your first time. Highly recommend for a lively, feel-good brunch!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet Maple – Stevens Creek Came here for brunch on a weekday and loved it! No wait, and we got a nice spot on the outdoor patio — perfect for a relaxed morning. On weekends it’s usually packed, so definitely be prepared to wait if you go then. We ordered the ube coffee, chicken & waffles, billionaire bacon sampler, and the mochi croffle — everything was delicious! The portions were generous, the presentation was great, and the flavors were worth every bite. Overall, a great brunch spot with friendly service, tasty food, and a chill weekday vibe. Definitely coming back!
We celebrated my wife’s birthday here with a group of 10. We went on a Sunday at 10 am. We were seated quickly but in two different tables. We were near by. It didn’t bother us much as it was very busy. We were given water as we sat. Orders were requested. Drinks were first, appetizers to follow then main dishes thereafter. It wasn’t a long wait. 5 minute windows between drinks and appetizers and the meals 5-10 mins after they noticed appetizers were completed. The atmosphere was nice! The servers were attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. Highlights were the: ube latte (wasn’t too sweet and it was smooth and creamy), millionaires bacon - (was sweet to the bite and had some spice at the end), loco moco and omurice (they were both served with a flavorful light Demi glaze - not gravy. Very light and not filling at all!) after our meals finished, they cut and served the cake we brought for birthday girl. Had a great time and will come again!
I have been here at least four times and each time the food and service remain exemplary. The coffee is very robust and both the eggs Benedict and the scrambled eggs are absolutely mouthwatering. Very high-quality of food and the waitstaff are very courteous and attentive. Highly highly highly recommend. A special shout out to Mink and Serena for their wonderful service. The ambiance is fantastic too.
Awesome food and awesome service made this brunch one to remember. To start the bloody Mary was delicious and the staff even added in a few extra olives for me which I always appreciate. The shrimp croffle was a touch sweet but still very good. The stone pot was absolutely awesome and got better as it continued crisping the bottom of the rice. The millionaire bacon was fun to try, maybe a touch expensive for what you're getting.
Delicious Millionaire’s Bacon! I love this with their salad! Came around Friday 1:15PM. Still quite busy. It wasn’t too busy that every single table was taken and luckily we got parking. Servers are quick, polite and we got our drinks right away. I preferred the Milionaire’s Bacon over the Millionaire’s Candy. Felt like it had more substance and depth in flavor. I wasn’t too impressed with the Holy Cow Salad. Rating 3/5. The sliced galbi did not taste good, tasted weirdly overcooked and under flavored. Everything else taste great! What saved it was the Millionaire’s Bacon with the salad which made it taste wayyy better. And the additional scramble egg was a solid too. Matcha Latte was just right, it isn’t the best I ever tasted but it fulfilled my cravings for the time being. Plenty of space inside for various side groups. Great for singles, couples and families! Parking? Yes; parking lot, it might get too full at peak time so there is probably some other street parking nearby. Restroom? Yes; wheelchair & handicap may need some assistance depending on stall availability.
Came here for Valentines Day Breakfast. Taste, Presentation, Quality, Portion Size were all on point for the items we ordered. Service could have been a little better. It is a little pricey but worth it for the ingredients quality.
Blueberry moffle was enjoyable and different. A bit more chewy in texture. Gardena soufflé was nice - typical of what you’d expect. Eggplant starter was different and quite tasty. Corn starter was a bit too oily and didn’t quite enjoy it. Overall good food. Service is decent, had to ask multiple times for plates to eat, but not bad.
12.23.23 - for 11:30 late brunch. It was busy and we got placed next to the men's bathroom (with the panel room divider)...boo. no ambiance. This is the same owner as Kitchen Story in SF the waitress confirmed with me. The millionaire bacon is the same, of course, 5*. I got the day's special, sirloin steak and lobster for $49. Tasted good with each of its sauces but didn't seem to be worth the price, especially with such a small tail (size of a water prawn 1-2 size)...4.5* for this plate. The chicken croffle was good and large portion, 4*. Korean FC chicken tasted good, and crunchy, with the sauce, 4.5*. The breaky tacos were different, tasted quite good, 4.5*. Bloody Mary, 4*, expresso shakerato (nothing special), 3.5*. Overall, 4.5*.
This is a beautiful little restaurant that presents its food and service well. We did not have the experience of a long wait nor inattentive staff. When we arrived at a 9:45, we lucked out and found a parking spot right away. Ordered a coffee and an Ube latte. The latte tasted like a sweetened milk drink- pleasant but not earth shaking. We ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice to share since it have a 🌶️ beside it on the menu. There is no heat in the dish. It was very flavorful and something different to try; however, I don't believe it is necessarily worth the price. We also ordered a pancake on the side. Very small for an $8 pancake but you are paying for atmosphere.
Waited 30 minutes to get seating on a Saturday morning. Parking was hectic. Had to park on a back street on the side of Steven’s Creek. But the food and drink was delicious, very good portion. Service was friendly and attentive. The vibe was great and nicely maintained. I will try to revisit on a weekday and hopefully it’ll be less crowded.
We got a table for 4 after 15 minutes ~10:30am on a Sunday. Not a lot of wait but as we were eating we could see the line was getting longer and more people were waiting. Inside the decor is nice and the setting is new and lighty. Service is decent, a tiny bit rushed. Coffee is awesome and refillable but every time we had to ask for it. Our coffees arrived 2 mins after ordering and the food came a few "seconds" after, VERY quickly. Not that we minded, mainly caught off guard. The omelette was ok, the souffle was good and the salmon Benedict was great. The veggie brussel potatoes that came on the side of each dish was amazing. I will definitely come back to try other dishes, probably at a time to avoid the long wait times. Prices were reasonable.
One of the hot brunch spot, please make reservations or come early, for a usual part of 4, you are expecting about 45 mins wait. Aside from the wait, the restaurant itself is carefully decorated, with lots of windows, bright color. There are both indoor and outdoor space, but indoor is slightly cramp. The food is decent, most of the items are Asian fusion or Asian inspired. It is a popular spot, so the service is not the best. Regardless, the minimum recommended gratitude is 18%. For a lunch of two, you could go $100 easy. Overall, if you are here for a great brunch, I will say I could definitely find somewhere better. But you are here to check in, for sure you could take some nice IG pictures.
The food was good. We loved the assorted bacons. The issue is that it is very noisy and you can't hear someone sitting next to you. We would like to go back, but it all depends on who we are with. Because of the noise.
Something that stood out to me is that they advertise their bacon was on food network. Had to go see what the hype was about. The interior was very cute. Felt European according to the group I went with. I ordered the chicken croffle which is a croissant waffle. It came with berries sprinkled around and a few specs of powdered sugar. It was amazing. My wife ordered the blueberry moffle which is a mochi waffle. My wife didn't like it because she said it's too sweet but I really like it. My other companions got the breakfast hash and a stack of pancakes. They said they didn't like the hash as much as the chicken and coffle. On top of that drinks were ordered. I got a bloody Mary and it was a very serviceable bloody Mary. Nothing too exciting. My wife got the Ube latte and there wasn't any ube taste at all. Just tasted like a normal latte. then there was the matcha orange and I didn't think they would go together but I was pleasantly surprised by the combination. The last thing I want to talk about is the bacon sampler. It's $24 bucks and it's millionaire bacon which is a thick slice of bacon. There were four flavors: citron, original, cinnamon, and rosemary. The group seems to like 2/4 bacon sampler which is the original and the citrus flavor. Cinnamon tasted fine and the rosemary tasted like the original. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in the bacon. Maybe the anticipation was pretty high for me but don't let this review stop you from getting it. It tasted fine. Overall the food was delicious. Don't hype yourself up on the bacon. It's a tick slice of bacon...
A Delightful Brunch Experience! I had the pleasure of dining at this charming cafe, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! The menu boasted an impressive array of options, and the food was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The ambiance was equally impressive, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas to choose from. On a sunny day, we opted for the cozy indoor space to escape the chilly morning winds. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly, adding to the overall warmth and hospitality of the cafe. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe for a delightful brunch experience. Whether you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, or exceptional service, this cafe truly has it all!
We were so excited to try out breakfast at Sweet Maple. The pictures were so mouth watering and the expectation of the Millionaire Bacon was immense. I can confidently say that Sweet Maple (SM) is great but absolutely over-hyped. The food is high quality but scores more on visuals than taste. The prices are aligned more with the quality of presentation than the taste. Ingredient were typically fresh and well put together. Nothing was quite home run though. The mochi waffle is chewy but didn't have the crunch. The deep fried French toast was interesting but came across like a fancy Dennys. The chicken-apple sausage that came as a side to the eggs was absolutely cardboard garbage. Massive kudos for the innovation on the bacons though. Absolutely lovely and made with passion. We loved all 4 flavors. Oh, the coffee was ultra-bitter. Most likely some burnt bean batch but unforgivable with this caliber they are going for. The atmosphere is great. The service was lovely. Price was adequate in my opinion. Any higher and I would've had to drop a star. We had a good time. Great spot to impress someone on a date. We're probably not returning for a while.
Quaint restaurant surrounded by parking spaces all around. White colored open space interior provides a cheerful vibe with the friendly service. Drink orders came out in a timely manner. Not crowded at all at 9am on a weekday. Food arrived looking like it just came off the pages of a foodie magazine/website. Unfortunately, my eggs and millionaires bacon, potatoes and toast were not very warm. Scrambled eggs were fluffy, potatoes and brussel sprouts were crunchy. The millionaires bacon were thick cut with a smooth rich sweet taste.
Came here on a clear 'winter' day. Inside of the restaurant was packed. There was no one sitting outside. We decided to sit outside and be seated right away. There are heaters outside. The weather was very mild as per Canadian standards. We tried a couple different dishes. The service was good, no complaints. The food was good, no complaints. Maybe I expected more with it being so busy, that the food must be great. I'm glad we tried the place. Nothing too special. Looks good for the gram. The best thing was probably the ube latte which my niece loved. I'd say if you're in the area, give it a try.
We arrived at Sweet Maple on a Friday late morning thinking it wouldn't be as crowded compared to the weekend but oh, we were wrong. From the main street of Stevens Creek, you can see the parking lot was full and there are a couple of parties waiting to be seated. We were fortunate enough to find parking but you might want to try your parking luck down on S Blaney Ave around the residential areas. We opted for outdoor seating as indoor seating seems to be fairly packed. Decors are light and large windows provide natural lighting making it Instagram photo worthy. The outdoor seating is facing the busy Stevens Creek Blvd so if you are on a romantic date, opt for an indoor seat. Food: We came here for the Bacon and we got what we want, and more. The Bacon Sampler came with 4 flavors which I still only enjoyed the original. I think sampler is better to share with a party of 4. Florentine Benedicts came cooked perfectly with poached eggs and a side of brussel potato madley. The soufflegg was delicious and fluffy and one of my personal fav. Butter fried corn seasoned nicely and came with a few chewy pieces of rice cake Service: The overall service was average. Our table was missing a set of cutlery and I asked two separate staff and a 3rd staff member finally got it for me. Food was delivered by a food runner but our server did not come by to offer condiments (cuz you know hot sauce is so important with eggs). I have to wave at another staff for that. Check came on a portal device where you swipe your car and punch in your tips. Our final bill came out little over a hundred for brunch. Overall: We will probably come back to try other interesting dishes and on a special occasion. If you are looking for just standard eggs and Bacon, there are plenty of options at a more reasonable price.
Tasty and unique food! A fusion between American & Korean foods! 1. The famous bacon was super spicy, tasted like pork belly cooked in soy sauce and chili, quite chewy, nothing like bacon. Okay but not extraordinary. 2. The hot stone pot was underwhelming. The rice was very sweet and soggy. The ribs have no bones in them, mostly small well chopped pieces of meat, well season but atypical for "rib." 3. Macha waffle was chewy. Quite nice! 4. The regular signature waffle was ordinary. Won't order again. 5. Korean fried chicken was sweet but delicious. 6. The chicken sausage was questionable in taste. 7. Egg dish with Brussels sprouts was well balanced.
Such an nice experience! They have a limited (compared to some other places) but a very satisfying menu! From the first interaction to the last the customer service was really good and friendly. Food was amazing and the presentation was top notch as well. They offer a range of egg preparations, burgers and other nice dishes as well. I didn’t tryout any beverages so can not vouch for those but the drinks menu looked pretty decent too The food might be on the expensive side a bit but it is worth it. The waiting time can be a bit much depending on the day and time. For us it was just around 10 minutes. Would not hesitate to go again!
The food is very instagrammable, but the omurice isn't using short grained sticky rice for some reason and the loco moco had a bit stronger of a beefy flavor than I would have liked. Millionaire's bacon was good, but not $13+ good for two slices. The times I went were Friday lunch and early morning weekend breakfast, and both times I was seated quite promptly, though I know the place can get very packed during late mornings on weekends.
This place is always busy so we decided to try it. They don’t take reservations but our wait was only about 25 minutes. The service was good, but items came out at weird times (e.g. coffee arrived several minutes after food but was ordered at the same time). The food itself was fantastic and the presentation was top notch. There is a slightly rushed feel, so not the place I’d choose for ambiance or an intimate brunch. The millionaire’s bacon, while very good, I do not think supports the $25 for four slices price tag.
Food was great, service not as attentive as one would like. Had to ask several staff for coffee refill each time. Food arrived barely warm, guessing it was waiting for the servers attention on the counter like I was with the coffee. Again, the food was great and I plan to visit one of the other locations in hopes of better service. Would like to make Sweet Maple at least a monthly visit.
This restaurant is selling fancy experience, the food quality is good. I thought this is an American style restaurant, but it is not actually. The millionaires bacon is actually taste like the wet pork jerky from Taiwan, nothing much exciting! I would love the American crispy bacon But the cup noddles special noddle looks very appealing👍
Honestly, I mainly came here for the millionaire bacon — and that alone is worth it. But the sizzling stone pot dish surprised me and really hit the spot. The pancakes and French toast always look beautiful when they come out, but they tend to be a bit dry. I’ve also tried their egg-story options, which are simple: eggs, your choice of protein, and the brussel sprout potato medley is interesting and different — not bad at all. Overall, I’d happily keep coming back just for the millionaire bacon and toast and be perfectly satisfied.
We waited 30 min during a rainy Saturday morning. They don’t take reservations during weekends so expected to wait 20+ minutes. The food was good, the potato were really crispy and fluffy in the inside. The Hemingway was alright, the sauce wasn’t that much different from a traditional Benedict sauce, eggs was nice and runny. The mochi waffle had a nice chewy texture but become boring after a while. The chicken croffle was crispy and nicely seasoned. The Omurice was just average, nothing special and we wouldn’t recommend the scrambled egg either.
Sweet Maple - what a place! We went on a Saturday for brunch, and it was clearly the place to be. We joined the Yelp waitlist once we arrived which didn’t take too long (they have a large volume of seating and turn over tables rather quickly). I will say though, parking sucks so give yourself some time since parking is limited. For those new to SM, their portions are LARGE. And when I say large, I mean most plates can easily feed two people, so be aware when you order. After much deliberation and hemming and hawing over our selection (their menu is this awesome mix of Asian cuisine, French, Mexican, and American), we got the chicken croffle and sizzling stonepot with chicken mango sausage. Both were massive and amazing. The croffle is a croissant pressed into a waffle so it’s buttery goodness with the fried chicken. This is a fan favorite and we can see why. They have tons of matcha and signature ube drinks (they come out purple) so give them a whirl if you enjoy those flavors or want to try something new. Service isn’t the best here— no one really has a dedicated table. They do, but don’t. So if you’re in a rush or need a fast meal, this is not the place to go. We will be back to try some of the other callout dishes but important to note the timing, parking, and service.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❗️If you’d like to ruin a perfectly good Sunday with a mediocre brunch and world-class bad service, look no further. The hostess could win awards for restraint — not a single “hi,” “follow me,” or any form of human acknowledgment. Mysterious energy. Maybe that’s the brand. Our server made a surprise cameo about five minutes in, then disappeared like a magician. When I asked for a plate or a coffee refill, the response from nearby staff was a consistent “find your server,” which I guess is the restaurant’s version of a team-building exercise. I did eventually get my coffee refilled — by a completely different person — so points for variety. The food? Overhyped and solidly mediocre. Prices hover right below “are you serious?” territory. The only “warm” dish we got was the sizzling rice, which was supposed to be hot but arrived with more of a gentle sizzle of regret. To their credit, the staff moved fast when it mattered — the second I put the last piece of waffle in my mouth, my plate vanished. Excellent signal that brunch was officially over and I could kindly move on with my life. Overall, it felt like watching a group project where everyone assumed someone else did the work. Come here if you enjoy chaos, and unintentional comedy. Otherwise, there are better ways to spend your Sunday.
We had a good Saturday brunch at sweet maple. Though it looked like there were many people waiting ahead of us, it was fast moving and we could get a seat within 20 mins. We got the blueberry moffle and veggie omelet. We liked both of it. The potatoes and Brussels along with the omelet deserves a special mention. Also got a glass of orange juice. The service was pretty quick. The tables were all packed too close and the whole place was quite noisy. Otherwise it was a good experience!
A slick eatery, with indoor & outdoor seating, Cupertino-level sophistication & style; ideal high culture marker for millionaires' wives, looking for snob experiences and Instagram fodder before cocktail hour (they close at 3:00 pm). Leading that way are global menu sprarklers like Oat Matcha & Ube Lattes; hybridized specialities with ethnic (SE Asian) slant. Scrambles were fluffy, regulation stuff; as was the pancake (fruit topping - including grapefruit? - more for visual appeal, than substance). Air fried brussel-potato medley stood out, as did their signature millionaire's bacon. Prices are ~20% above par, even as they tend to skimp (paper napkins!). Service somewhat leisurely. Worth an experience, not a revisit.
A very nice Korean fusion brunch place in Cupertino serving creative dishes and coffee drinks. Everything we tried from savory to sweet was delicious. The wagyu beef burger in loco moco was incredibly juicy, tender and flavorful, and the portion was substantial. The steamed egg soufflé was light and fluffy. Matcha and blueberry moffles (waffles made with sticky mochi flour) had a more chewy texture, not too sweet, and very good. The pimped up ramyun was a glorified stir fried Korean instant noodles and the ingredients tasted cheap, not recommended for the price they charged. Service was friendly. There can be a wait if you arrive later in the morning.
A few weeks ago, we visited Sweet Maple in Cupertino for a weekend brunch, and it was buzzing! With no indoor tables available, we were seated outside, which was lively but a bit cold, making it less cozy. Parking was a hassle—had to park a few blocks away due to limited spots. The food was the star: I had the Chicken Croffle, a crispy, juicy chicken breast on a flaky croissant waffle, drizzled with spicy honey maple syrup that perfectly balanced sweet and savory. It was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the Matcha Moffle, a vibrant, chewy matcha-infused moffle sitting on a pool of matcha lava, topped with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar—a stunning, earthy-sweet treat that looked as incredible as it tasted. Service was okay, a bit rushed due to the busy crowd, but our server was friendly. A 20% tip was auto-added for our group of five. If you’re a foodie who loves creative brunch dishes like these, Sweet Maple’s Cupertino spot is a gem. Try visiting on a weekday for a less hectic experience, though you’ll still face tricky parking.
Everyone was very friendly and wonderful to us when we dined at Sweet Maple in Cupertino First of all parking, there is really challenging A restaurant itself is not as large as the one in Palo Alto- nor is the food as tasty as the one in Palo Alto I ordered the same thing in Palo Alto, which I would give five stars I ordered it again in Cupertino and I could not give it past three stars Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment when we went to the Cupertino Sweet Maple location I will tell you ahead of time even there Pete‘s coffee was not as good as the Palo Alto location Ho hum, we will skip the Cupertino location altogether when we know that the food at the Palo Alto Sweet Maple The Palo Alto location has better parking also The restaurant is adjacent to the nice large parking lot I did think their fruit bowl was very fresh and very delicious! Maybe the Chef from Palo Alto can come over and help perk up Cupertino location I will add everybody was quite nice and the service was grand!!
This busy breakfast cafe has lovely decor and the service was good. There are the usual breakfast choices, but with a few Asian twists. The house special bacon is super thick and drenched in syrup- not for the crispy bacon fans! The egg plate was a good size, however the sausage arrived cold.
Food: 3, Ambience: 4, Service: 5. If you're fine with average food and prioritize a fantastic atmosphere and attentive service, this is the place. We tried the Hemingway Benedict, chicken sandwich, and millionaire's bacon. The presentation was excellent, and the service was attentive. The bacon was a standout! However, the Benedict's salmon lacked freshness, and the chicken was disappointingly bland, and the food arrived somewhat cold. Personally, I don't believe the food justifies the cost or the long wait.
I really don’t think the millionaires bacon was worth $25. The only one that tasted okay was the original and even that one wasn’t that great. Not sure if the bacon is supposed to be cold, but it was. That may have been why it didn’t taste great. The tornado egg dish was good, but the rice is like pilaf (American style rice). My friends liked the tacos and scramble that they got. It also got really hot in the restaurant. I wonder if that’s a way they make customers not want to sit and stay too long to get them in and out. They also told us if we open and eat the pastries we brought they were going to charge us $2 each person.
This is one of those trendy places where the popularity and good pictures make the food seem better than it is. It must be good if it's busy, right?! Wait wasn't actually that bad on Sunday. Good job on that. I'm Asian. The food needs to taste good before looking good. Unfortunately it just looks good. Instagram food. Everything has a "sweetness" (yes it's called Sweet Maple lol) to it. Millionaire bacon: imagine bacon with barbecue sauce on it. That's it. $15/2 slices but it's literally just browned barbecue sauce bacon. You can make this at home if you tried. Ramyun noodles: Everyone who has eaten Shin Ramyun will know this tastes nothing like it. That insane spice is gone. Ugh. Great way to bloat the price of instant noodles though. Omurice: the idea is fantastic, and yes, it looks amazing. But the fried rice needs some work on the texture (soggy/mushy even before mixing with sauce), the galbi beef felt more like it was boiled than grilled. Egg was a huge star and the demi-glace saved the dish with its tremendous flavor. But again, the sweetness.. Service was prompt and didn't bother with the forced politeness. Take our order and give us food. Excellent. Food arrived quick too. Interior is charming. The drinks: $10 coconut water matcha. Wut. $8 Latte that just tastes like milk. Huh. Just stick to water. Again, looks pretty but has no taste.
Sweet Maple didn’t quite hit right for us. Maybe we came on a bad day. Our favorite brunch place, Bloom, is closed on Mondays, so decided to give this a try. We were pretty excited going in, especially for the bacon. The service wasn’t great, no one greeted us, we used a computer to put our name on the list, no one said anything as we were seated and handed menus, and we were never asked if we needed anything or how the food was. Our glasses never got refilled. It was busy but not packed, so really not the level of service I would expect. The food was pretty average. Maybe we ordered bad things, but we had the Scramble, the Citrus French Toast, and an order of Millionaires bacon. The potatoes with the scramble were dry and only had some brussel sprout leaves, no actual brussel sprouts. The scramble itself was good. The french toast was also pretty dry and not much flavor, also pretty average. The fruit on it was mainly grapes which feels cheap. The bacon was probably the biggest disappointment. We’ve had “Billionaires” bacon at First Watch across the country and expected that, but this was pretty different and not nearly as enjoyable. It’s covered in what feels like a thick sauce, rather than say syrup or sugar with chili flakes or pepper, and the bacon was pretty fatty and not a great texture. At nearly $8 per slice of bacon that’s not what you want. The water they serve is unfiltered tap water and has a bit of a taste too. Overall pretty disappointing. Nothing really stood out to us and service was rather bad. The cherry on top is parking here is abysmal and the prices feel really high for the small portion size. We might give it a second chance at some point when our usual is closed, but don’t have too high of hopes.
I do not understand the hype about this place. I have always wanted to go but there’s always a long wait time on the weekends. I finally got time to go on a Friday. I’m disappointed. The food was mid. Ambience is okay-ish. And it’s on the pricey end. I do not recommend coffee, it was cold and not good. The brekky tacos were too big and not flavourful. Fried rice and beef was decent (omurice)
The food was good, but unfortunately that is the only positive thing about this experience. The service was unacceptable. Our server had a cold, unfriendly attitude from start to finish and provided virtually no service. We had to flag them down just to get our food. After we finished eating, our table was completely cleared, yet we were left waiting an unreasonable amount of time for the check. We asked for sharing plates and never received them. Our water glasses were empty for most of the meal, and no one bothered to refill them. Throughout the entire experience, we felt completely ignored, as if our table didn’t matter at all. Good food cannot make up for such poor and inattentive service. This was extremely disappointing, and we will not be returning.
