This is an awesome Kura sushi location. The sushi always tastes fresh and the service is always good considering how busy it is. Main thing with this location is you may want a reservation. Wait times at 5 on Saturday can push 2 hours. Download the app and pick a reservation time a few hours earlier.

This place is always so fun for my family! It's a busy vibe but never too loud for my autistic little one, he loves to look at the plates go by! And the fact that they're only 2-3 pieces on a plate let's you try a variety with out the kids wasting any! Highly recommend doing the interactive screen activity where it counts your plates! The kids love it!

I really like this place. Not crazy fancy but very consistent and a great variety. Lots of seasonal dishes and very kind staff. Really nice to be able to pop in and eat 4 dishes or 14 depending on my mood.

The most well known revolving sushi spot around here and maybe even the only major ones but still overall a good time. Pricing wise at four bucks a plate they aren't that cheap but it's more for the experience. Would recommend trying at least once if keen.

This place is pretty cool! I'm a big sushi lover and they did it right. They have a screen in front of your table where you can just order what you want and then it gets sent down the conveyor belt straight to your table. Plus they also have this little robot that goes around like serving people drinks, a really cool experience.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is incredibly popular — we went on a weekend and had to wait nearly two hours to be seated. It was totally packed, but the experience was worth it. The rotating sushi setup makes it easy and fun to grab what you want, and ordering from the tablet is super convenient. Food comes quickly on the express belt, and the self-checkout by QR code made paying fast and hassle-free. I brought a friend, and he couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and delicious everything was. We both really enjoyed the variety and quality. Great spot to hang out, eat well, and have a fun, casual dining experience. Just be prepared for a long wait during peak hours!

Awesome conveyor belt sushi experience. You can order from a tablet or take the sushis on the belt. It’s priced per plate and super easy. Keep in mind that you cannot make reservations and need to queue up and check in online. The wait time was about an hour. The sushi was excellent! First time trying raw scallop, which was divine.

This conveyor belt sushi place was very high tech. I do recommend making a reservation if you have a group or want a table, but if you are one or two people and want to sit at a long bar, you can show up and put your name on a list and get seated very easily. There is the standard conveyor belt in front of you as well as a belt on top of that for single items you order to be zipped out in front of you. You return empty plates to a slot in front of you that tallies your total on the digital screen where you may also make single order requests.

Our company travels all over north America and when we find a kura we tend to stop in and check it out. Its hard not to push your self over your own limit trying to hit gotcha ball milestones to win prizes. I unfortunately tend to never take pictures of the food considering its eaten as soon as its taken off the belt. I managed to get a few pictures this time! And four gotcha balls as well. One was claimed by one of our friends already so I ended up with three prizes, I managed to get the one I wanted though, A Gudetama!

The food was good but I would have liked more choices. It was fun to get the food from the revolving bar. The food I was getting was great. I tried some items I have never tried before because items I usually eat were not available. A cool robot brought us our drinks.

After going to Japan and seeing how much cheaper it is there it’s never been the same. But besides the point, I feel like at kura the sushi isn’t really filling, you’ll need like 50 plates to be full if you have a group of 4😭. The customer service here is okay, they do bring you to a table and greet you, but after that they rarely check up on you after. Nothing TOO crazy about kura but it is still a cool spot to eat.

We went here as a couple and only had to wait a few minutes to sit at the sushi bar for dinner. Although the service was okay, they did give a good amount of wasabi, which was nice. The wasabi was spicy just how we like it. The conveyor had typical sushi rolls that you'd find and they were all really good. I liked the tuna, crunchy rolls, squid, and steak. We also ordered a small bowl of Ramen and a bottle of sake. My only complaint is that the beef was a bit chewier than the Pleasanton branch beef. Overall, it was a good filling meal.

I really like this place because you get the option to pick from a variety of choices but custom order too. I especially like their Ramen because it’s not too big. So you can get the best of both worlds, Ramen and Sushi. The atmosphere is so much fun too. The only disappointment was the cake. 🍰

A nice sushi place for the family, especially children. They serve other Japanese dishes such as ramen and udon noodle soups as well. The tables are all private booths. A variety of small sushi and side dishes (e.g., cucumber salad, water melon, warabimochi, etc.) come around on a revolving belt and you can see them as you see which ones to take. You can also order additional dishes on the screen. The dishes will be delivered from the kitchen to your table on the top shelf of the belt. The quality of the food is ok. Sushi is tasty, but perhaps not as good as some other Japanese places where sushi is made to order. The beef udon noodles are a little too sweet for our taste. They have two cute robots serving the drinks. It’s a fun experience for the kids. A little plastic ball with a mystery keychain item inside (you can collect a whole set) would pop out from a tube above your table when you order certain numbers of dishes. We sat at Table 1 at the end and robots never made it to serve us. The human service was quite slow. We ordered some water but it took a long time for the servers to bring the water. One order of water never arrived. Because the food is brought right in front of your eyes, one tends to overeat here, more than what you would order if it’s from a menu. We were totally stuffed by the time we walked out of the door. Recommending getting on the waitlist on their app before you arrive so that you don’t need to wait outside.

Kura Sushi in Cupertino is such a fun and modern dining experience! The conveyor belt setup is both convenient and entertaining, especially since you can order specific dishes right from the tablet and watch them zoom over to your seat. Plus, the robotic drink servers add an extra futuristic touch that’s hard to find anywhere else. I loved the wide selection of sushi—there’s nigiri, rolls, cut rolls, and more, so everyone in my group found something they enjoyed. One of the best parts is the little gumball-style prize you get after 15 plates; it’s a sweet incentive to keep tasting different items off the belt. Despite the often busy scene, I found the wait worthwhile for the novelty alone. My only minor concern was a few pesky flies buzzing around. The plates are semi-covered, but you’ll still want to keep an eye out. Overall, though, the freshness of the sushi and the unique, high-tech atmosphere make this place a must-try. Definitely consider stopping by if you’re in Cupertino and craving something fun and delicious!

Having been to this location almost once a month for 6-7 months, yeah, i'd say I recommend it. Are there better quality places in the area, of course? Are there more options elsewhere, definitely, but you come for the fun of revolving sushi and to tally up your plates for a little surprise! Let me start by saying this place is good if you want something relatively quick (sit down time in mind) with an overall budget friendly prize. I personally enjoy being able to order at my own pace or grabbing something from the moving belt. As a vegetarian, I know I know (why am I continuously coming her, well I because I can!) there are a couple of varieties I enjoy. The options aren't too many I will be honest, but the rolls they offer are tasty for a quick fix. The staff is always friendly and attentive if the little robot friend isn't around, or even with it rolling by. I have never really waited longer than 10-15 minutes I'd say, but it is usually a party of 2. Regardless, it is a nice place to come eat sushi and have the experience of the revolving belt.

Overall, it was a good experience, but the restaurant needs some serious improvements. For example, the soy sauce container is not very practical—it doesn’t pour easily. Basic essentials like water, extra plates for food waste, and wasabi should already be provided at the table instead of having to request them. The menu options are also quite minimal and could definitely be expanded. It would help a lot if each item included more details, such as whether it’s cooked or raw, spicy or not, so guests can make quicker decisions. The concept is fun and the food is decent, but with these adjustments, the overall dining experience could be much better.

as a big kirby fan i HAD to come here when i found out about the collab. the limited edition plates were really cute & yummy. i’ve been to this location a few times before, but after going to a kura in japan i’ve become spoiled forever. i also realised that there is a lot that could be improved here. for example wasabi should either be given when you’re seated or available at the table instead of having to ask a server for it. the price is a little steep for casual sushi too in my opinion. but overall conveyor belt sushi is always a fun experience. eating alone is fine here but if you want a game prize bring some friends or a big appetite-you need to eat at least 15 plates!

Stephen Huang

The waitlist is redundant. You put your name down, they’ll say 30-45 mins wait, and the text you get would be 60+ mins, check in with them 15 mins afterwards and they’ll give you a table after another 10 mins. So quite redundant. Food wise, it’s alright for conveyor belt sushi, you eat this style of food only for the experience, not the quality. Other than that, they’re quick to get you drinks and other stuff you order specifically.

The sushi selection isn’t huge, but everything we tried tasted fresh and pretty good! Prices are a little on the high side, but the whole experience makes up for it. The conveyor belt setup is fun, and dropping 15 empty plates to unlock a capsule toy was a hit — especially for the kids! We joined the waitlist through the app, so we barely had to wait for a table. Overall, a fun and tasty spot for casual sushi!

I found their new campaign has a provocative design: a baby faced girl with provocative appearance. Not only it’s against promoting women’s body positivity, it looks like a preteen girl! I conveyed my feedback to a waitress and asked how I should provide effective feedback. but she was like you go figure out what to do or how to let your feedback heard maybe online somewhere but it’s non of her business. I asked a few times if I can talk to her manager before she finally got the manger to come over. The manager was professional and provided me with email address for feedback collection, showed his understanding and opted to remove this paper roll. I suggested using other designs (there were a couple of different designs) instead of this particular one. This is a family friendly restaurant and I don’t like the idea of little innocent girls go there and see that and think that is normal. Maybe it’s normal in Japan or mangas but I guess it’s not and hopefully will not be mainstream in America.

Fun concept ruined by dishonest "Bait & Switch" advertising I used to think the conveyor belt concept here was fun, and have visited Kura since 2024. But I can no longer support a business that relies on deceptive advertising and gaslighting their customers. We didn't initially visit specifically for the Kirby giveaway promotion, but the advertisement for it was plastered everywhere while we were dining—on our table and up next to the conveyor belt throughout our entire meal. Seeing the offer for a free giveaway with an $85+ spend, we naturally assumed it was valid and decided to hit that target. When we reached the checkout with a bill over $85, however, the waitress simply told us they were out of stock. When I asked why they still had the posters up on every single table if they had no prizes left, her response was incredibly rude and dismissive. She nonchalantly said: "Oh, nobody told you? You could've asked earlier." This is a textbook bait-and-switch. It is not the customer's job to audit your inventory before ordering; if the sign is on my table, the offer should be valid. Blaming the customer for "not asking" while you actively false advertise is unacceptable. Since leaving, I’ve looked at other reviews online and realized I’m not the only one; many others have complained about similar dishonest practices here. It’s clearly a pattern. I will not be returning to a place that treats customers this way.

We came here specifically for the ONE PIECE × Kura Sushi Bikkura Pon collaboration. The whole restaurant was decorated with One Piece posters, and the Bikkura Pon machine even showed the One Piece prizes. After we finished eating, we realized the machine only had the old connectable charm prizes, not the One Piece ones. When we asked the staff, they told us there were no One Piece Bikkura Pon prizes available. But when we were about to pay at our table using the self-ordering tablet, we suddenly saw that the One Piece Bikkura Pon capsules were still being sold separately! So they did have them — just not through the actual event. This was really misleading. The decorations and the machine made it look like the One Piece collaboration was still going on, but it clearly wasn’t. We ended up paying extra just to get a Luffy capsule. Very disappointing and felt dishonest.
