Tip: The coconut pudding is light in sweetness. Try the durian coconut if you're a fan, but be aware it can be fragrant. If looking for silky tofu texture, get the non-vegan mango river.

Opinions de MeloMelo Cupertino
The desserts are light and not too sweet which is perfect. I am not a fan of coconut desserts but the coconut flavor was not strong at all! The Triple Matcha was really good. Bonus points for the aesthetics!
After barbecue, we noticed Melo Melo across the plaza, a spot we hadn’t seen before, and it immediately caught our attention. The space is beautifully decorated, especially the wall of colorful jars, which gives it a really fun, modern vibe. Even though it was pretty quiet when we went, my friend and I were excited to try it because everything looked so good. She ordered a coffee-based drink (I believe it was an espresso or latte), and I had the mango coconut with rice. Both were delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, not overpowering at all, and the texture was amazing, almost like yogurt. The flavors were spot-on and really refreshing. One thing we loved was the glass jar the dessert came in. Instead of tossing it, we realized it’s perfect for reusing or recycling, great for things like overnight oats or storage at home. It’s such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend it. I really hope they open a location in San Jose someday. Parking can get crowded on weekends, but since it was a holiday, it was surprisingly easy and quiet. Pricing is reasonable, maybe not an everyday treat, but absolutely worth it for the quality and taste. We can’t wait to come back and try more flavors. Great concept.
Melomelo Coconut Store is my new go-to for a light, tropical treat. The coconut pudding comes in adorable glass jars—silky, subtly sweet, and clearly made with fresh coconut milk. I loved the mango pomelo topping; it added brightness without overpowering the creamy base. The shop feels airy and minimalist, with friendly staff who explain flavors and offer samples. Prices are a bit higher than typical dessert spots, but portions are generous and reusable jars are a nice touch. Lines can form on weekends, yet service moves quickly. Overall, a refreshing, consistent pick when I want something simple, natural, and satisfying.
Tried this for the first time last weekend and omg it was so good 😍 I got the one with peach gum. They have a huge variety of different toppings with the coconut pudding. There is durian, dragon fruit, mango, avocado and so much more. The coconut pudding is very light in the sweetness level which is perfect for me. It really reminds me of how my mom makes coconut pudding. The peach gum doesn’t have much of a flavor but I’ve had it before and have been told it’s very healthy for you. It’s sort of like an agar boba texture but less bounce to it. There’s really not much of a flavor to it, it’s more of a texture thing. It lowkey looked like slime 🤣 I will DEFINITELY come back in the future. Such a great spot for coconut desserts and their containers are reusable so that’s a huge plus!
The store is located in the Cupertino plaza and is among one of the new and happening stores. The seating area is spacious and gets great lighting. Upon entering, there is a wall of dessert replicas in individual display cases to the left, like the type you would find at a coconut dessert museum. It's standard Melo Melo decor, but I am always surprised at how many there are propped on there. It is expensive, usually north of $10, but the amount you get is more than some other coconut dessert jar places. I like the osmanthus jelly one. I don't really care for the fresh fruit ones because I eat many types of fresh fruit daily. More into what I don't have at home like Oreo crumbs. I have also tried the vegan version and the consistency is quite different for the pudding. As different as vegan ice cream vs. regular. Parking is always plentiful. There's some around back too.
Welcome to coconut paradise! They offer a variety of coconut jelly with an array of delicious toppings. The store itself is beautifully designed, with a charming seating area that makes for a cozy and inviting experience. I always love getting the peach gum, peach purée, and durian—such a great combination!
The interior of the place is so cute!! I love the jars! The tea flavors were my favorite. Would def recommend the osmanthus oat oolong and the jasmine!! Mango river was ok. It does not include coconut jelly. It might be better to get the non-vegan one if you’re looking for that silky tofu texture for the coconut pudding! It is just basically mango sago if you like that but I prefer having the coconut pudding.
Melo Melo in Cupertino is a hidden gem for dessert lovers, especially those who appreciate light, refreshing treats. Specializing in coconut-based desserts, the store offers a unique menu that feels both indulgent and health conscious. We ordered rose pistachio and Ube coconut. The coconut pudding is silky, subtly sweet, and topped with fresh fruit that adds just the right amount of brightness. The store itself is super cute, with a clean white and cheerful orange decor that gives it a fresh, modern vibe perfect for snapping a quick photo. Staff members are friendly and efficient. Whether you're a coconut enthusiast or just in the mood for something different, Melo Melo is a must visit spot that leaves you craving more.
I heard about this place from a friend, and being a lover of desserts, this place had been in my "must try" list since a while. 1. Lots of coconut dessert options - I personally tried triple coconut, mango coconut and banana nutella coconut. I liked all of them, and was pleasantly surprised with the triple coconut especially (its the actual coconut shell!!) 2. Lots of parking around 3. Pretty good ambiance for eating in store, but also also very amenable to takeouts since you can refrigerate and consume over the next 3-5 days!
The first photo starting from bottom left, clockwise, is the Coconut Single, Coconut Double, and the Mango Coconut. The little tray is the Mango Roll. They’re all yummy and great for dessert lovers but also for people who don’t enjoy sweet things. It has very minimal sweetness and I can’t stress enough how REFRESHING their desserts are here! You feel SO HYDRATED afterwards. Capitalised to emphasise just how refreshingly hydrated one feels after having their desserts lol. The Mango Roll was heavier than the signature jelly desserts due to the cream in it, but it’s still on the lighter end. I used to make desserts at home using rice paper and that’s exactly how it tastes. Coconut Single is so clean tasting and I enjoyed it a lot. It’s the perfect little size for people who aren’t usually dessert people, or if you want something small. Coconut Double has coconut jelly pieces in it that add texture but doesn’t taste of much. If you don’t like the sound of the coconut meat in the Coconut Triple then you may want to just get the single and skip the jelly pieces in the Double (there are three sizes for the coconut-only ones). Mango Coconut is the most popular at the store and the mango and here tasted really fresh and meaty in a good way. Strangely, they offer you one free Coconut Single if you bring in 10 jars. They have no stickers, punch cards or digital log. You have to bring the jars in cleaned and in good condition. If you return the jars you ate immediately then you just “forfeit” that promo. So we plopped ours in a canvas bag and brought them home, but their system made me giggle since it feels silly. They’ll just have to sit next to my LUSH tubs at home for a bit! This is my fav dessert place in the area now since I really don’t enjoy sugar or sweet desserts. Happy I know a place I can go with my sweet-toothed friends and family where everyone can enjoy dessert together. Also the staff were very patient and pleasant! The minus 1 star is just cos I am not a dessert person and due to the weird way they make you take the jars home to participate in the event.
Tons of unique coconut desserts here, definitely a good spot to come if craving something sweet but want something on the healthier side! I tried the Triple Coconut, which is served inside an actual coconut. The jelly inside was very nice, but it was tough to eat out of the coconut. Also got the Sesame Walnut, which had a good nutty flavor, but not overly sweet. The shop itself is clean and modern, with an interesting display of all the dessert options. If you’re tall, watch your head with the chandeliers above the tables. Parking was a bit of a pain, I had to circle around for about 5 minutes on a Friday night before finding a spot.
This shop from LA is finally open. It sells coconut jelly just like Tong Sui. The decoration and space are very nice. There are many flavors to choose from. I chose purple taro this time for $13.99. The price may be higher but the size is also larger. It's sweeter than Tong Sui, but the coconut flavor is stronger and it's great !
I wanted to like this place a lot, especially because I like durian a lot, but unfortunately I cannot condone this store. The regular mango was fine, but as someone who adores durian, I was really excited about their king durian special. However, the durian was bad, and tasted markedly sour, with an almost fermented electric buzz on the tongue. It had clearly also degraded the quality of the coconut pudding as well; instead of a firm jellylike texture, the acidity of the decomposing durian had reduced it to a paste like consistency (if you look closely at the photo of the durian one attached here, you'll see bubbles along the skin, which had degraded to a paste). This made the durian one inedible, but we did not notice until eating it at home. Extremely disappointing.
