We went to Ma’s restaurant tonight, and every dish we ordered was exquisite. Bonnie, the server, was helpful, courteous and great. We ordered prawns with walnuts, General’s chicken, sesame bread, rice and seafood chow fun. The food was very fresh, tasty and delicious. The portions were big, and the food is unsurpassable. We can’t wait to go back soon.

Everything we ordered was good. Oxtail was good and it was a good portion too. Everything was a good portion. I didn’t get to try to green onion pancake. Must have been good since my family finished it before I could try it. Nice touch to have a self serve soft serve machine. We will come back for sure. Parking lot has security and a police car parked. Don’t leave anything in your car.

I deducted one star for over salted for couple dishes! All other dishes are prefect! Service is also wonderful, courtesy and friendly. We asked for three ice water, one of the ice water is for my two years old granddaughter, they very thoughtfully put a lids on it! All the dishes come quickly. No issues at all! Fresh ingredients and flavor!

I visited this restaurant to try their chow mein as I heard it’s one of the best. Their ambience is welcoming and spacious and their service is amicable. We got complementary tea to start with. The tea was refreshing. We got crab and cheese puff and fish dumplings for starters. For the main course we got chicken chow mein, shrimp chow mein, veg fried rice and sour and spicy chilli potatoes. The appetizers were amazing. Their dumplings were fresh and hand made and I loved their flavors and their crab cheese puff was also great. Both were fresh and was bomb. The chow mein was outstanding. Their noodle was thick and soft with wok flavor, I loved their flavors combinations. It was not that spicy and was moorish. The fried was also great and not the best I’ve tried. The potatoes were average. It was prepared in a healthier way by just steaming thins sliced potatoes tossed in sour and spicy sauce. We were expecting fried potatoes though. Overall I found their dishes to be healthier and tastier. This also has complimentary softie which was light and refreshing.

I am pleased that I stumbled upon this restaurant. It will quickly become one of my go-to Chinese places. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and although not very spacious, it provides a relaxed and pleasant environment to enjoy your meal. Moreover, the menu is quite varied and offers more vegetarian options than you would typically find in Chinese restaurants. Try their food and enjoy a complimentary dessert of ice cream!

The food here is overall great! The only thing that holds me back from giving it 5 stars is that the vegetable options aren't very tasty. HOWEVER, this is probably the BEST halal Chinese spot my husband and I found across the Bay area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Mongolian beef, general tao's chicken, and the house special fried rice. The prawn+veggies we got was okay - we like adding a veggie dish but so far have not found one we love extremely like the other dishes pictured. STAFF: Very friendly and fast and serving. ENVIRONMENT: cozy family spot.

You were looking for how long please – you got it. This delicious homestyle restaurant offers you variety of Halal picks to choose from. Please can get relatively busy during the lunch hour. Will highly recommend Scallion sesame, pancake with green onion, freshly baked and served hot at your table. All the soups are very big and enough to serve 3-4 people. The beef soup we’ve got was a bit flavor less. Lamb kebabs came slightly over dried and over spiced. Beef with green onion was tender and delicious. Excellent hospitality. Feels like having a meal with friends and family.

Global Nomad

Was pleasantly surprised that the servings were larger than I expected. I had the Beef Stew Noodle Soup (紅燒牛肉麵) but was fortunate enough to try out a few other types of noodles. The XinJiang Lamb Kebab (新疆羊肉串) were really nice and reminded me of what I tried in China. Would definitely come back again.

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. While other customers were being served, my group — who were not Chinese — were ignored and never offered service. It was uncomfortable and disheartening to feel unwelcome simply because of our background. Adding to the disappointment, the food we observed being served to others did not seem particularly fresh or well-prepared, which was surprising given the restaurant’s advertising and religious themes of kindness and inclusivity. Respect and equality should be the foundation of any establishment, especially one that promotes itself with moral or spiritual values. I sincerely hope the management reflects on this and makes changes to ensure that all guests are treated with fairness and dignity.
