I ordered el Alambre de pastor. Great selection on the meet, and cheese, it was very satisfying and the Salsas are just perfect.
Excellent ceviche as a free appetizer with chips. Great sauces for the tacos and sushi with a definite Mexican influence.
Really nice people, really great people, and I love their positivity. There's so much good food from Burritos to Buffalo Wing... I love it :D
Great ceviche, super michelada, and shrimp tacos. Server was also very nice .Will definitely be back!
This place is a cross between a mexican restaurants and a sushi restaurant. I would have never guessed the two would be so great together. My new favorite place!
Delicious food! Great prices! Amazing customer service!!! Highly recommend.
Loved eating here. The food is amazing and flavorful.
This place has good food and great drinks definitely coming back
Love this place, i like the food specially the pozole 😋 I come with my friends from Oakland just to eat here, like the music they play and the whole staff are very nice 🥰
I come here all the time. Best tacos in the area, good prices, amazing drinks, and above and beyond service.
Had the super carnita burrito meat was cooked perfectly could use more salt other than that the burrito was huge with chips and salsa this one is worth $15! Definitely will be back
My wife and I went here after a round of Break Stuff. The food options were interesting but I ended up choosing the Hot Cheetoh Roll. It was freaking delicious. I enjoyed every bite, the sauce that was placed over it made it even better. The chavela was just as good in drink options. Great place to eat, will definitely come back again to try more of their food. The staff were super friendly as well.
My wife and I came here after a round of Break Stuff. The choices of items on the menu were interesting, I decided to go with the Hot Cheetoh Roll. It was a great choice, it was really delicious. The sauce that covered the roll really heightened the flavor as well. The chavelas are just as good, definitely goes well with the food. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Will be coming back many more times.
Tried their huarache de al pastor FIREE 🙌 OMGGGGG i left half for laterr today but yasss fresh food and aguas frescas made by them not that powder mixs. DANKKKKY
Loved this place the people working there were awesome and the food was authentic Mexican and when you get seated the owner brought us complementary soup n coffee free the soup was vegetable and it was great I'm definitely going back
Mexican and sushi? Made me curious enough to try as I was looking for a place with ceviche. It doesn't look like much from outside but inside is nicer than any regular taqueria. Great service. Food came out very fast. Delicious chavela. I enjoyed the ceviche a lot as well as my sushi roll! I wish I would have visited this place sooner
Food is very good! I tried the Michelada and it was also good/tasty. Tacos could be a little improved but sushi was awesome. Will definitely come again.
Variety of sea food. Sushi was amazing (mango roll) 3rd time in my life trying it out. Defitnetly found a spot for sushie. Great taste
Place was very good, threw me off when I walked in!!! It’s Japanese rolls, but surprisingly great flavor, great staff and clean environment, I’d go again for the micheladas and sports, lots of tvs everywhere
We stumbled upon this place by accident, just looking for something nearby for a late dinner — and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the seafood! Our favorite dish, the grilled octopus, was outstanding — perfectly cooked and a very generous portion! The shrimp a la diabla were actually better than in Mexico (and we know what we’re talking about, since we just came back from there 😄). Cocktails were good, and the Michelada was a solid 10/10. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed this place and definitely recommend it!
Came for a lunch meeting and was greeted by amicable staff. Plenty of items to choose from the menu and glad to see a dedicated torta menu as this is my jam. Ordered the Torta Oaxaceña - full of meat and cheese, on a big slice of bread. Very filling. Good ambiance, tv and laser lights. Music a little loud but for the small space it is reasonable. Fairly priced for the food downtown. Parking available in the plaza behind. Al fresco dining in the back. Great business owner under fairly new ownership.
We are visitng from L.A for the Café con Leche festival and walked around this area to see what was around. We spotted this place and thought it was nice. The inside feels like you're at a tías house for the recalentada! And the food is amazing! We had a michelada with the fixings which has fruit and the tradicional tamarindo stick with camarones a la diabla and a huarache de cabeza (chefs kiss😘) it's definitely worth checking out because there's plenty of other choices around. We were also told by the employees that this place was own by previous people so it is under new management.
I stopped by for dinner at El Conrro in San Jose having discovered this gem before in the Mountain View location. My brother ordered Sopes w/ asada and a asada taco. I went with the Conrro steak, salmon, lobster with asparagus, and red potatoes. The waitress brought us complimentary vegetable soups as starters it was good enough to order as a meal for the next time. We were informed the amount of time it would take to cook our meal, we were in no hurry. We had some complimentary chips and salsa while waiting for our meal finished right before our meal arrived. We ordered a Mojito, michelada perfect drinks. All in all I felt great value for my money, quality service, food well prepared expertly seasoned (I didn't add any condiments), reasonably priced. We intend coming back discover more plates of this unassuming restaurant.
Definitely a place to came back. Tortas are tacos are delicious here. I need to try more plates.
They give you a free complimentary taco at the beginning:) Delicious and friendly! 🌮Don’t forget to leave them a tip.
I popped in late one Saturday night and they hooked me up with the fattest al pastor super burrito. Hunger be gone! It proclaimed as it filled me to the brim. Pretty solid menu with lots of options. Their salsa verde is crazy delicious with a nice kick. They always send me away with some chips, sliced cucumber, radish and lime wedges as well, so you get all the accoutrements. Will return soon!
Amazing fusion of simple concepts, sushi and mexican flavors. Their Hot Cheetos Roll was really good and had just enough of that red spice for flavor to complement. The super micheladas are almost a meal themselves, large glasses filled with shrimp and other veggies marinating in a well made michelada with beer of your choice. If you like fruits with spicy seasoning, they have that option in the appetizers. There was a mariachi band playing the night I was there, they were excellent and knew the song I requested.
Great prices for how delicious their sushi is! My favorite was the carne asada fries though!

My friends and I went here because Tostada's across the street had a very long wait and we were hungry. Honestly can say, great authentic Mexican food for less than what we would've paid across the street. The bar also made me an alcoholic drink not on the menu that was delicious. It was a great atmosphere with great music too. An underrated spot.
The soles are super tastey, just the right amount of softness, and the salsa adds a spicy yet delicious kick. The soups like el caldo de pollo are also a big size and come with a. Variety of vegetables. Love this place
My gf and I went on a Friday night. Ordered the molcajete and to super micheladas. It was delicious. Live music was awesome. We had a great time. Will definitely be back!!

Tacos are extremely good, price is a bit steep though, almost $6 for a taco...
Place was good but we had to send 2 plates back to cook the shrimp. Seems they use a hand held butane torch to cook them?
Food is gooood! When we go we usually try a few different dishes at the time. The services is a bit mehh and while it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the food it would be more enjoyable if they were more attentive. At least once a month we visit the place !
Decent Mexican food, drinks were large but were sweet for our tastes, server did not speak English, but was not really an issue
Went back and had tacos today. Made a mental note to come here more often, it's a great little spot. Tacos: Asada, Al Pastor & Cueritos (my new favorite) ******************************* I've been wanting to check this place out and my daughter reminded me today, so we checked it out. She chose the shrimp cocktail and I chose the Campechana which is a shrimp cocktail plus octopus. The portions were ridiculously large and very much worth the $18 and $19 bucks. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. The decor was an absolute vibe, I want to come back here for after work drinks one of these days, those micheladas looked pretty enticing.
Big menu, but seem to specialize in the tortas so that's what I got. It was delicious and huge. Service was great at the start but then hard to find people at the end. I was there at lunch on a Monday and it was pretty empty. Think they were doing inventory or getting a shipment at the time. I'd consider coming again. Food was good and came out quickly.
So tasty food i personally give all my stars for carlos me and my family received an excellent service from him and he prepared the best drinks my favorite is the mojito
Good prices, good salsa, refried beans in the burritos, great service! A lot of variety. They also serve sushi (I didn't try it but the waiter said it was good). Student deals and taco Tuesday deals. Only drawback is limited meat variety; they only have asada, pollo asado, and seafood, no pork.

Food is absolutely delicious - authentic Mexican food and fresh ingredients. 😋 Servers are very nice and attentive. A bit of a hidden gem just a block northeast of San Jose City Hall...I'll definitely be going back regularly.

Ok food but the serve not so good and they even offer you flowers and shoes to buy from the server's mom weird
Its ok... micheladas muy caras and no flavor, Food and sushi was great!!!
The food was served fast! Rolls were great the cocktail was not and the service was not the best

Disappointed in my shrimp cocktail. About a week ago I came here and had a really good shrimp and octopus cocktail. But tonight I came and had another one and the shrimps were old dry and stale. Very disappointed.
They don't answer the phone. I came in at 9:15 pm. There was a lady making an order on-front of me. When it was my turn, the employee told me they are closed. It says they close at 10 and they had people inside. I really liked the food here but im not going come back anymore after this.
At first when I came this place was great! But my last 3 times, they been serving food that taste like its old. I am a regular customer and the quality has went down.
Ceviche not very good can’t bring myself to eat it .tastes for some odd reason like orange juice not very appetizing at all my husband ordered shrimp Diablo was really small portion compared to most restraints and only barely decent in flavor won’t be coming back one star cause at least the micholada was decent and the servicer was fast

My girlfriend and I went in for the first time yesterday. She ordered shrimp and I ordered it enchiladas. The enchiladas tasted like they'd straight come out of a can with some red sauce but on them took two bites they were totally unedible. The shrimp were nothing more than something you'd have gotten out of the freezer section and warmed up. We were charged $56 for food that was totally unedible. Later that evening both of us who had been fine all day ended up sick to our stomach and in the bathroom. This place needs to be avoided. Overcharged food that is nothing more than freezer section reheat.
