Vegan chilli momos are bomb!!! It’s the sauce for me - I get an order of naan and deep it in the sauce! I never order any other food from other vendors, I can’t pass on the chili momos (it is spicy) 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I absolute love Urban Momos! I come here often and I always get atleast the chicken momos, and it is always consistently fresh, flavorful, and moist. The prices are within reasonable Bay Area prices. There are vegetarian options too. The service is great, Sama who took my order and served my food was very kind, and checked in to see if everything was good. It is located in San Pedro Square, so there's enough seating and I like the atmosphere here too. Would highly reccomend!! P.S. the photo doesn't do it justice.

We go here very frequently. Our favorites are Veg Chow Mein, Gobi Manchurian, Veg Paneer Momo, Chicken Kothe momo, Veg fried rice! This restaurant is located in San Padro Square - so Ambiance is very happening and romantic at the same time.

In A Nutshell: -It's funny to write this review about Urban Momo b/c I lived in SJ for years and this was the 2nd restaurant to open up in this same stall, but I never got around to trying it until a recent visit back home. -I kick myself in the arse now b/c damn their food is really good. -There are only 3 restaurants left (Phonemenal, Market Beer Company and Pizza Bocca Lupo) when San Pedro Market originally opened up back in 2010, but Urban Momo should be added to that group since they are the 2nd longest lasting restaurant there. -I ordered a bunch of things such as their Simosas, Naan & Spicy Tandori Chicken. -Everything was so mouth-watering good, especially the Tandori Spicy Chicken. -For around $20 something bucks you can get a very large portion of delicious finger licking chicken. -It's a great deal, very healthy too. Overall, if you are in the mood for Nepalese/Indian food, this is the place to get some!

So we tried to spread the love and order from a place other than our now regular joint - the Momo Grill. And we were not disappointed with Urban Momo. The delivery through DoorDash did take a wee bit longer, but the food was packed and delivered safely. The steamed Chicken Momo were well made succulent and freshly prepared and the sauces with them were very tasty. But we were blown away with the quality of the Chicken Chow Mein. Fresh veggies and lots of them, now too oily or spicy noodles and check full of chicken slivers made this a delectable dish. We will be back from more of the Chow Mein and try their other offerings as well!

Delicious food & a local San Jose favorite! Tried the chicken curry, aloo gobi, & fried rice with naan - would highly recommend all these dishes. This comes with a big thanks from our NYU student film cast & crew! Definitely a spot worth checking out.

I hadn't ever tried Nepali food before so I was excited to try momos. I had the vegetarian momos which are actually vegan, just not marked that way on the menu. The momos are soooo good! They're basically a dumpling filled with really flavorful spices and vegetables! They came with a spicy dipping sauce as well which was also vegan and very delicious. I had the aloo gobi as well which was also really good! This was also my first time at San Pedro Square Market. I ordered at Urban Momo and they gave me a buzzer to let me know when the food was ready, it reaches outside which is great. I found a place outside on the patio with my dog who found a pizza crust underneath the table Anyway, I would definitely order from Urban Momo and get the veg momos!!!

Urban Momo is a spot we frequently get food from when we are at San Pedro Square. The fried momos can take longer, and if they are busy food can take a while in general. We really like the steamed momos, and we fry the leftovers at home the next day.

They made the best paneer (cottage cheese) momo (steamed) It was hard to find a decent one in the Bay Area. The Chicken chilli momo was delicious but it was spicy for white man lol. It didn’t affect me at all.

Urban Momo in San Jose is a momo lover’s dream! The momos were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, I kept eating even when my tummy was full and ended up taking take-away for the next day too! The Gobi Manchurian was absolutely stunning, crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and the music was incredible. The atmosphere was so inviting that I didn’t want to leave. The chutneys are fresh and addictive, and the staff are warm and friendly. Truly one of the best Nepali food experiences I’ve ever had!

On another visit I tried their mixed Shezwan fried rice, the fried rice was good but they one small container of the Shezwan sauce which is not sufficient for the full dish. The fried rice had a good combination of veggies, eggs and chicken.

This place is located inside San Pedro square market. Lovely atmosphere. We ordered Paneer momos, Veg chowmein, some fries and Manchurian. Fries were super crispy and delicious. Veg chowmein was okay. Manchurian was my favorite. We went pretty early there and still it took more than half an hour.

We've ordered from this place off DoorDash in the past and we've loved it. This time however, we had the worst experience. We ordered and the delivery time was showing 51-60 mins (which is fine. It's the weekend). The dasher got to our place about 20 mins past the hour quoted. He came bearing an order for a "Brent" with shrimp and pork something. I let the dasher know that we are vegetarian and can't take the order. He said he confirmed with the restaurant multiple times that this was the order and they said yes. The dasher was very helpful and offered to drive back to the restaurant and grab our food. He came back after about 45 minutes and dropped off our order. When we went to eat, it was yet another wrong order. We were hungry and irritated at this point so we just raised a dash request but I'm so disappointed. I hate wasting food and after almost 3 hrs, we still got the wrong food. We had ordered 2 Veg Chow Mein and 1 Gobi Manchurian. We instead got 1 Veg Chow Mein, 1 Chicken Chow Mein, and 1 Gobi Manchurian. The taste was on a whole another level. Chow mein was not as it usually is. Gobi Manchurian got all soggy and was so spicy that I literally got a heartburn after a bite. I felt like my throat was on fire. Very frustrating and so disappointed.
